Islamerica: Mohammed Now Among Most Popular Boys’ Names in Minnesota

As I’ve told you on this site, America’s Muslim population doubled–largely through immigration–since 9/11. 40% of Muslims now in America emigrated here since 9/11. And of those 40%, 75% arrived during the Bush Administration, with an additional 25% under Barack Obama. Now, the damage is irreparable, and Mohammed is now among the most popular boys’ names in Minnesotastan . . . or is it MinneSomalia?

For the first time, Mohamed has made the list of the state’s most popular baby boy names, in at No. 98. The updated list, released Tuesday by the U.S. Social Security Administration, ranks Minnesota’s top 100 baby names for boys and girls.

The name, in its several variations, is one of the most popular worldwide for Muslim parents. It has risen on Minnesota’s list as the state’s population has rapidly changed. From 2000 to 2010, the number of residents of color grew 55 percent, and Minnesota’s fast-growing Somali population is the largest in the United States.

A decade from now, look for it to become the MOST popular boys’ name in Minnesota, just like it is in London.

Also, from what I understand, the Catholic’s and Lutheran’s (liberal Christians in name only) have placement NGO’s that receive funding to place these refugee’s in American towns. I’m sure they must work with our State Department to pick which town to plant these social weeds so that American society is changed. The H’mongs were basically a Christian tribal federation from SE Asia – our allies during the Vietnam era. Notice though that there are FEW Christians being granted refugee status from the Middle East. Islam has invaded the highest levels of the American government – Christian sects of any flavor are not welcome. They plan on letting the Muslims kill them off – Armenians, Assyrians and Copts are all cannon fodder for the suicide bombers.

Say you are a bishop or a pastor of a local church or group of churches and you are an ass kissing, liberal, guilty white person, you bring them to your church, give them money, and a place to stay. You help them sign up for welfare, the Obama phone, drivers license, etc. And, in another few years, they will be working to get sharia law into your community. And, of course they bring all their third world diseases, AIDS and bed bugs to your community with them.

What exactly is the problem with Mohammed being No.98 on a list of most popular baby names for the state of Minnesota? So it’s broken into the top 100, big deal. In a state with a population of 5,379,139 and Mohammed being the 98th most popular name of boys in the state, it hardly seems like Muslims are overrunning the state and causing irreparable damage as Ms. Schlussel claims (though I do concede that it is entirely possible that is has the potential to be the MOST popular name in 50 years or so if the immigration rate remains consistent).
To be honest, I have absolutely no fear of Muslims overrunning Minnesota or other immigrants coming to the US. What I really fear is ignorant, closed-minded people swarming the US and spreading their xenophobia and spite.

I had my fingers crossed that you would reply to my post. I agree that you and the people who know the truth should not go quietly (that would be censorship, which I often find to be an incredibly disgusting practice), but just don’t understand why everyone seems to hate Muslims on this site, though I freely admit that has a lot to do with my personal experience.
One of my best friends in high school was a Muslim kid from Pakistan named Mohammed. His family moved here when we were in middle school. He played baritone in our marching band (and was accepted into the All-American Army Band our senior year), went to all the sporting events, and loved eating at the Johnny Rocket’s in the mall. You could also have a debate about religion or philosophy with him and he never once went rabid and labelled me and my other friends (who were mainly White, Hispanic, and Asian)as “vile infidels who should be stoned to death” or anything insane like that. For as many Mohammeds as there are who follow the poisonous, twisted, perverted death-cult of Islam you describe, I believe that there are just as many (if not more) Mohammeds that are like the one I knew in high school; good kids with open minds who, in my opinion, are definitely All-American. Again, this could just all be personal bias and you very well could be right.

Quite contrary to what you may believe, I actually did look through archives on the site before I wrote my first post because I was trying to understand where this behavior and vitriol was coming from. I read a lot of Debbie’s posts on crimes and other unspeakably heinous acts that some Muslims commit and I was shocked and disgusted and I can see why there are people who direct a lot of spite toward this religious group. I also two years of Asian History (which includes the Middle East) in high school as per the International Baccalaureate requirement as well as a foreign language(Spanish). My issue here is that people don’t seem to take into account that there are Muslims like the Mohammed I knew in high school and get all worked up that there are a lot of people named Mohammed in Minnesota.
And as to you question “how do you know if your friend Mohammed is not a Jihadi?” I know because of a presentation he gave for our Theory of Knowledge course in which he explained how religion (of all different varieties) can be considered a way of knowing and spent a good 50% of his presentation condemning people who misuse the word “Jihad” and use it to commit heinous acts (I would ask someone who is Muslim what that word means or do some legitimate research before tossing it around as if the mere mention of it is to set off someone’s berserker mode).
As for your statement about PC touchy-feely crap getting me so far, I agree. PC touchy-feely crap got me the status of salutatorian and section leader during my senior year of high school, an IB diploma, a full-ride scholarship to a private university, and multicultural friends that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
Lastly, I figured that I should say something about how I believe knowledge since you brought it up in your post. The sum of human knowledge is vast. All of us have a vast range of opinions, beliefs, perspectives, and tastes which we to attempt to gain knowledge and understand our world. But because of these conflicting opinions, beliefs, perspectives, and tastes it is difficult if not impossible to KNOW about something absolutely as what is knowledge or truth to one person is not always so for someone else. I don’t claim to be an expert Islam or the people who visit Ms. Schlussel’s site (though as I previously said, I am under the impression that everyone here is extremely intelligent and well-educated), I just came here seeking answers for why there is this lingering animosity toward Muslims who seem to be minding their own business and hoped that someone would provide them without resulting to personal attacks and purposeful misspellings of words (i.e., Mooooooslims)in an attempt to offend or discourage.

All nations are a direct reflection of the people who founded them and are the original inhabitants. For example, China is a direct refllection of the Chinese people. Japan, the Japanese people. France, the French people and so on.

What you are describing and looking forward to is the death of America as we know it. This is true because America will change from what it is now into a direct reflection of the new majority of people flooding into her now. If that new majority is from Mexico then America will slowly become Mexico. Similarly, France, Germany, and Britain are becoming Islamic nations. The traditional cultures and customs of these nations, which were produced by the original inhabitants are being replaced with the cultures and customs of Pakistanis, Algerians, and Turks because these are the new “Europeans.”

The rule is this: a nation can maintain its traditional character only so long as its traditional inhabitants remain a significant majoriity of its population and in control of the major institutions — government, legal system, education, mass media, etc.

I do not share your optimism for America’s future. Why not? Because I have been to Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Africa.

Thanks for the fairly courteous and informative response Frankz, I really appreciate it. I read the Fox News article that you posted a link to I have to admit that it gave me a new perspective that I had never really considered before, something to ponder, and something to be thankful for (not sure that it’s radically changed my opinion, though; I may need some more time to digest it).
Sorry about the wording of my first post, it was irresponsible and irrational and I never meant to imply that I believed that everyone on this site was xenophobic or that I only wanted answers that agreed with my statement. I think the question I was looking for answers to was something more along the lines of ‘Why is everyone getting so worked up over this particular aspect of Islam in the US when there are so many more important things or other aspects to get worked up about?’
Also I don’t believe that I am “the light of the world,” I have done plenty of things wrong and believed in a lot of stupid trash that I sincerely apologize for. I only wrote that anecdote about my Muslim friend in high school because I felt that it was a waste of time to talk about people born in the US with the name Mohammed because they would PROBABLY (the key word being ‘probably’) have to assimilate.

All of the other media outlets are saying this was an act of terrorism and that investigators have gathered a wealth of evidence but they still don’t know who was involved in the bombing for sure… But I suppose viewing or trusting any source other than Fox or this site is another example of my arrogance and ignorance.

Well, what does your religion teach you, fighting.. oh your clearly ruining its image, ill give you an example, in a class full of.fifty full students, one of them steals a candy bar or worse, bullies other.kids or beats them up, does that make the whole class of fifty bully ,.only one of them did it, that isnt fair.. okay so three.innocent people died, you know thousands of.muslims are dieing everyday.. if we were jihadis and extremist, wouldnt we stop that first.. we have.no control over this becaus ethis whole kihadi thing is not a real image of a muslim, do you even know what a jihadi means, i means fighting in the way of allah.. why would a person who is .killing innocent people.be called a JIHADI

Maybe we are to civilised.and mature.for these people, we can never convince them of our truth, and innocence.. they understand there own language with swear.words which doesnt even make sense..they themselves are living on a faith which is not even real..
