Muslim Converted Canadian Greek High School Friend to Islam, Al-Qaeda; Murdered US Oil Workers in Algeria
What if your kid or grandkid went to public school and was converted by his Muslim friend first to Islam, then to become an Al-Qaeda terrorist who died murdering 38 Western oil workers in Algeria? That’s what happened with Xristos Katsiroubas who was converted by his high school friend, Ali Medlej, to Islam in London, Ontario, Canada, just a two hour drive from Detroit. And if you think it couldn’t happen to your child, grandchild, nephew, or niece, think again. Not long after the Greek Orthodox Katsiroubas was taken to a mosque in London, he became an Al-Qaeda terrorist and mass murderer. And, now, Katsiroubas, known as “The Blond Jihadist,” is dead. This could happen to any kid in Canada . . . AND America. And anywhere else.
Ali Medlej & “Blond Jihadist” Xristos Katsiroubas: Al-Qaeda Terrorists Who Murdered 38 US & Foreign Oil Workers
Remember the Americans and other foreign workers who were taken hostage and 38 of whom were executed by Al-Qaeda terrorists in Algeria? Well, at least two of the terrorists who murdered them came from right near Detroit, in London, Ontario, Canada. What most people don’t realize is that Windsor and London are repositories for the few Muslims so dangerous that the U.S. will not allow them to come here and live in Dearbornistan. When they are deported from here, they often go to London. And like Muslims everywhere in Western civilization, they influence and recruit non-Muslims to Islam and extremism. Dawa–Islamic proselytizing–is one of the main tenets of the religion.
Not long after 9/11, I was invited by the Jewish community in London, Ontario, a couple of hours outside Detroit, to speak at their annual fundraising event. Before my speech, I was driven through downtown London, which looks like a version of Dearbornistan, actually it’s even worse. Like Dearbornistan, many of the storefronts have signs in Arabic only. But, like I said, the few extremely dangerous Muslims rejected by and/or deported from the U.S. (and we have plenty that get in to the U.S. carte blanche) often go to live in London, Ontario.
Given that, it’s no surprise that two friends–one of them an Arab Muslim and the other, his Greek Orthodox friend whom he converted to Islam in London–were among the terrorists who murdered the Americans and 39 others at the In Amenas gas plant in Algeria.
The survivors of an attack on Algeria’s In Amenas gas refinery earlier this year have not forgotten the hostage taker who was unlike the others. Blond, blue-eyed, and speaking perfect English, the Islamist militant was one of the leaders in the attack that took place on January 16 that resulted in the deaths of 38 hostages and 29 assailants. The identity of the “blond jihadist” was disclosed by Canadian public television channel CBC, which located him in the peaceful city of London, Ontario. His name is Xristos Katsiroubas, a 24 year-old from a Greek Orthodox family, who converted to Islam while in high school.
While at London South Secondary School, Katsiroubas became friends with Ali Medlej, another Canadian jihadist killed in the attack. The report broadcast by CBC comes in the wake of declarations by Canadian police last month that two Canadians were indeed among the militants killed in the bomb blast at the Algerian gas refinery. The photo of Katsiroubas, taken from a high school yearbook, is now being flashed across TV screens all over Canada, provoking shock and dismay among residents of the comfortable London area.
Those who knew the young man remember him as “friendly and tolerant”, though he is said to have changed dramatically after dropping out of high school in 2007 and travelling around working odd jobs in Western Canada. A former friend recalled Katsiroubas’s full beard and detached attitude upon his return to London. “It was really hard to relate to him at that point. He wasn’t the same. He had other interests — kept saying let’s go to the mosque,” the friend, who wished to remain anonymous, told CBC.
The CBC journalists’ investigation has also raised questions about the role of Canada’s intelligence service, known as the CSIS, which had the two young men on their radar as of 2007 and had questioned their families and friends. Canadian authorities then presumably lost track of Katsiroubas and Medlej – or stopped their surveillance operations – and their departure abroad went unnoticed. CSIS agents resumed questioning the families and friends of the two Canadian jihadists two months after the attack on In Amenas, without explaining why or indicating that they were dead.
The Canadian intelligence agency refused to comment when contacted by CBC News. Meanwhile, CBC sources are investigating two other former students from the same high school, who allegedly left Canada at the same time as Katsiroubas and Medlej. It remains unknown whether the two presumed jihadists participated in the attack on In Amenas, and whether they are still alive.
Again, if you think this couldn’t happen to any American kid, think again. It already has. And you can expect a lot more of this as our Muslim population grows, and we continue to do nothing but pander and bend over for Islam.
Remember, despite that fact that America rejects a scant few Muslims and they must live in London, Ontario, we take plenty of radicals in. And they and their kids are looking for new Xristoz Katsiroubas–ripe for the pickin’–every second of every day.

All the more reason to repair our immigration policies. Unlike others who profess to be anti-Sharia, then turn right around and welcome its possible practitioners into Western nations, there can be no denying that where Muslims do not exist, neither does Islam/Sharia/Jihad. A quite simple mathematical deduction really.
