Great Advice for BOTH Marco Rubio & Israel’s Binyamin Netanyahu

By Debbie Schlussel

For the last week, many readers and friends have sent me the photo below of Republican U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu hamming it up with bottled water in tribute to Rubio’s famous water break during his recent Republican response to the State of the Union address. Those who sent it told me the point was to show the support Rubio has for Netanyahu and Israel. Great.

But if Israel adopted the self-destructive, suicidal illegal alien amnesty plan that Rubio is pimping on America, Israel would cease to exist. And so I cannot like him merely because he likes Israel, while he is pimping the end of America as we know it. Both Rubio and Netanyahu would be best advised to heed the political button, below, from my button collection. The Hebrew portion is a Biblical phrase, “V’Shavu Banim Le’Gvulam,” which means, “And the sons shall return to their [own] borders.” (It’s from Jeremiah 31:15-17.) Indeed, the best prescription for peace is secure borders. In Israel. And in America, too!

Senator Marco Rubio is living in something of a fantasy world. Much of the Republican Party base does resent things like the Dream Act and other special privileges for people who came to the United States illegally. When the Republican Party produces individuals who are indistinguishable from Democrats on important issues, it is no wonder that there is little excitement or interest from that party’s base.

This Rubio idiot really has been my “Niagara Falls” lately. It was pretty bad BEFORE the frickin’ water bottle stupidity. Put ’em both together and I have instant brain implosion.

Nice to see after 4 years of Obama-Putin that this MORON is the GOP “golden child”. I was not one to say that the GOP are actually in cahoots with the donks but the past 4 years have given the question much grist for the mill! Romney & Rubio PROVE the GOP are zombified at the wheel. (But at least zombies look for people with brains…unlike the GOP)!!

And don’t even get me started on this slickster saying it’s time to help the “opposition” in Syria. I don’t know about anyone else but the winding down of the Syria situation has got me VERY worried. Many people ignorant of the facts *EMOTIONALLY* believe getting rid of Assad is the right thing to do. They have NO CLUE what a ginormous domino effect that will cause and coalesce. Depressing!

“if Israel adopted the self-destructive, suicidal illegal alien amnesty plan that Rubio is pimping on America, Israel would cease to exist.”

Israel has … they’re called Fakestinians and “Israeli Arabs.”

What’s the alternative exactly?
Democrat Hagel bagels?

DS, I’m glad that you’re not many on the right who are “neo-con zionists (don’t get me wrong, I happen to be a zionist myself) who’s gushing over Rubio on his trip to Israel, MANY US politicans from both political parties over the years have visited Israel and met their leaders, etc.

But we still can’t forget that Rubio supports amnesty for about 20-30 million illegal aliens in this country who yes violated immigration law in this country. Let’s not also forgot what Skunky implyed that Rubio supported the “FSA” terrorists in Syria, who are indeed the rebels who wants to overthrow Assad’s regime and maybe let the Muslim Brotherhood or al-qeada take over Syria and probably will send that country even more backwards.

OT, two weeks ago, British MP George Galloway walked out during a debate where he said that he didn’t want to debate with an Israeli national because he happend to be from Israel, the Israeli national person accused Galloway of being a racists and bigot because he didn’t want to debate with him regarding the Israel-Arab issue because he’s from Israel (for those of you who aren’t familiar with Galloway, George Galloway is a hardcore anti-semite who in the past have used jews as a scapegoat, blames Israel for what’s happening in the middle east, etc.)!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Yes, Senator Rubio is a great friend of Israel.

As such, I would certainly expect him to address the issues that will arise shortly when President Obama visits Israel.

Not the least of these is the shakedown that Obama will try to impose on Israel to make more concessions to the Muslim terrorists.

Friend Rubio can certainly be expected to address these issues and make clear his support to Israel in refusing to make concessions, to retreat aimlessly, to restart a disastrous ‘peace process’ and so on.

I will be waiting with baited breath.

oops, wrote too fast — bated breath.

Yawn, yet another GOP presidential hopeful going to Israel for a “fact-finding” mission (aka get Israeli lobby support and $$$ for your campaign).

What “facts” about Israel and the Middle East did he not yet know about that he had to fly there to learn?

Of course, he said NOTHING, just the usual bullshit cliche platitudes about our “special relationship” with Israel and how he admires and cares about their security, and something must be done about Iran nukes, etc, etc, etc.

It’s too bad he didn’t imitate Governor George W Bush by flying over Israel in a helicopter and saying there are driveways in Texas wider than pre-1967 Israel. Bush “forgot” how skinny pre-1967 Israel was when he crafted his terrible “Roadmap for Peace”.

And of course, almost on que, Jewish GOPers are singing his praise.

I’ve said it before on this website and I’ll say it again. Unless a candidate says unequivocally that Israeli settlements are NOT an obstacle to peace, and gives a firm promise including a specific date to move the US embassy to Israel’s capital Jerusalem, then I don’t give a damn about any campaign comments about a candidate’s “love” of Israel. It’s BS.

And to any posters on this board who will say he’d be better than Obama, remember George Bush’s roadmap.

Israel will do what Israel will do. I don’t buy the “American pressure” biz one bit.

Note that there is nothing in Torah guaranteeing that the Israel of today–and the Jews there–will exist in five years. All we can know from reputable sources is that Jews will always exist.

And, unfortunately, a strict position on illegal immigration has become non-existent among Republican Party officeholders and prospective officeholders as far as I know.

There may be one or two in the House, or among aspiring officeholders in 2014, but no major officeholder or candidate supports strict control of the borders and of cleansing our country of the illegals still here and preserving our culture.

Just like a duck is a duck, and not a cat.

Little Al on March 5, 2013 at 8:41 am

Rubio and Bibi have one thing in common. They are both frauds in that they pretend to be of the right while actually they are both leftists. Who else but a leftist would think it great to give citizenship to 20, 30, 40 million illegals. As far as Bibi, only a leftist would think it a good idea to give more of Israel to the Arabs and at the same time throw Jews out of their homes.

Jerry G, Throw Geraldo Riviera into that phony Republican mix re the open borders . . .

There is no reason for the Repubs to court the ‘hispanic’ vote, since they will never get more than 15% of it anyhow since that bloc is the less educated, less contributors, more takers from our society. It just isn’t going to matter in the end. The dems will push more welfare and freebies, end of story.

Debbie, you are 100% correct on this and this post says something important about you. This is why I and many others prefer your site to the Jihad Watches and Atlases et al. You are a real conservative not a one-trick pony. Yes, being anti-jihad is important but so are the many schemes put out by leftoids that you write about and that are completely ignored by the other sites.

IMO, you are the real deal. Keep up the great work. You are miles ahead of the others and we appreciate you.

Curious Quisling on March 5, 2013 at 10:44 am

Here is what I’m getting at; We’ve all heard the saying, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” But this is not literally true. No, you have two enemies one of which also happens to be an enemy of your enemy.

I am speaking here about some who have aligned themselves with the Left in the battle against Jihad. The very Left who brought all this upon us to begin with — the open borders crowd, the “GOProud” supporters etc etc.

Please don’t fall into that trap Debbie. Remain true to your conservative beliefs.

Curious Quisling on March 5, 2013 at 12:18 pm

As per usual, the populace will vote for their media favorite and Rubio is going all out to prove that he is a star.Given enough money and a mdeia organ on his side he will do as Obama did ,suck a mojarity of the voters in at one time (to paraphrase a former leader with real character)
Rubio shows Little policy direction, almost no real experience in running people as a leader (something lacking in the USA since 1950 i feel) and is hoping like hell is real that the hispanic crowd will get off their brown butts and vote for him as the blacks alledgedly did for Obama once.
A visit to Israel wasn’t neccesary, how about a visit to Malawi? Nigeria? Gaum? et al where the lessons of US democracy are like spitting in the face of your own mother.
Just Like Roosevelt in the back of his Ford V8 who spoke to the real Americans to guage what they needed ,he could see what a real president should be doing, not simply trying to be the first hispanic president of the USA. Hasta la vista etc.

When the poor Syrian refugees begin pouring
into Detroit, Americans will begin to understand
the plight of the settlers in Samaria and Judea.

The cultural battle is keeping a desert
from always being a wasteland.
