OK, but all I can say is that if some asshole took my parking space I’d be in his face right away–EXPECTING AND LOOKING for a fight and calling him an SOB if I thought that would do it. Just why is it that women think they can call a man an SOB and not get punched out? I’ve had a rule for the last couple of years to wit: “act like a man and I’ll treat you like a man.” I will give you that murder is murder and not to be tolerated, but she was a big mouth and had at least “something” coming. Whatever happened to an “excuse me, but that is my permanent parking place.” And then going to whatever authority runs the lot. I’m in the “watch your mouth lady” camp.

I’m in the “chauvenist pig” camp on this one. Just because a woman may take advantage of the societal rule to never hit a woman, there’s still never an excuse for it. You’re not looking for a fight, you’re looking to hurt a female.
In all honesty, if someone’s going to just scream, “You’re an SOB!” that’s no reason to fight. What if the guy can totally kick your teeth in? Is 2 weeks in an ICU and a couple month’s recovery worth you standing up to name calling? I’m sure your parents/siblings/wife/kids will understand that it’s important to not let ANYONE call you a name, and support that at your funeral.

There were no witnesses so we don’t really have any idea what started it. What we do know is that she was choked to death with a bed sheet and left hanging by her neck from a shower curtain rod. Nothing you can say to someone makes you deserve that. Cosmo is taking the same mindset that says insulting islam makes you deserve death. NOTHING YOU CAN SAY makes you deserve death.

I co-sign on both of the previous posts. People who fight or kill over words are weak minded individuals. Nothing that a person says (doesn’t matter how rude, offensive ,racist or etc)makes them deserve any type of physical harm. On the flip side, most of the time its easier to just let stuff go than to risk your well-being or lose your life over a senseless argument or disagreement.

Don’t offend anyone AND ignore the massive assault on YOUR civil rights just to maintain their delicate sensibilities! We are infested with PC morons and cowards. It’s a travesty that this had to happen, regardless of the circumstances. Let it be a strong reminder, though, to you liberal creampuffs who espouse amnesty and leave the poor illegals alone, to think of the ramifications of allowing thousands of these fetid pukes into this country. There’s another good reason to get rid of them. By the way, I’m not racist in any way, shape, or form but I do call it like I see it. Just so happens we had a homicide last night involving a 16 years old Hispanic; beaten with fists and 2×4’s, then stabbed and left in the street for his parents to find. Guess who did it? Yep, two of his Hispanic bro’s…no local Billy Bob here!

I wouldn’t agree that there’s nothing you can say that doesn’t warrant a little violence. There are things that could be said that would make me very likely to feed you some nuckles, but nothing you can say will make me strangle you to death or beat you to death or anything else you to death. A person who will kill over nothing more than words needs psychological help.

IF THE ILLEGAL ALIEN SONOFABITCH WASN’T IN THIS COUNTRY, SHE’D BE ALIVE TODAY – PURE AND SIMPLE!
The author of the article probably employs illegal aliens to;
1. Watch her kids,
2. Mow her loins,
3. Cook her meals,
4. Clean her house,
5. Be her chauffeur.

Most liberal magazines have been and still are playing the sympathy card with the devil. Why is it that they bereaved over Anna Nicole Smith’s death and on top of that incessantly covered that story while being judgmentally hasty to villify a celebrity who was murdered by an illegal s.o.b? I thought all liberals star gaze at celebrities, most of them happening to be slut junkies. The liberals have been notorious for always taking the side of a criminal and castigating the victim. and they still continue to do so.

How to understand liberals? From what I gather from Mr. Kasynski (the computer murderer) is that liberals HATE anything strong and successful.
This guy was right on the money, and helps explain their self-destructive behaviour. Keep that in mind and (viola!) a clear picture emerges all the time about liberals.

Thank you for publishing this column — the Cosmo article enraged me and I am currently looking for rebuttals to publish on my blog.
Cosmo’s premise is pure “Backlash.” Women should just put up and shut up and be polite little ladies, otherwise they’ll get their heads bashed in. Yeah, right. No, being rude should not be the default option, but women should never be encouraged to be silent. The patriarchy has promoted that for much too long.

Actually, Diego(aka the illegal) was caught by Ms. Shelley stealing from her purse, she tried to call the police, he grabbed her, hit her and tried to choke her with her sheet. Then he strung her up on the shower pole to make it look like a suicide. I am appalled at Cosmo, the so-called “girl power” magazine, which I will NEVER read or buy after seeing this.
