Weekend Read: Sometimes Liberals (& Black Panther Financiers) Are Secret Klansmen

By Debbie Schlussel

We’ve already had at least one prominent member of the far-left like this in contemporary times–former top Ku Klux Klan official Robert Byrd (U.S. Senator from West Virginia).

Now, add another one to the list.  And beware of White liberals who go out of their way to support (in this case financially) and defend Black racists and terrorist groups, like the Black Panthers.  Sometimes they are, in fact, top officials of the Ku Klux Klan, living a secret double life.  Such is the case of  Jim Burwell.

jimburwell

A taste (though, BEWARE, it comes from the usually unreliable, fabricating Detroit Newsistan):

Jim Burwell worked to heal the racial wounds that festered in the wake of the 1967 riot — or so it seemed. The squat, bespectacled white man from Ohio, who ran a truck repair shop in the Cass Corridor from the early 1960s until his death in 1990, had a reputation as a color-blind businessman who gave back.

He drove thousands of black children to church services and field trips in his bus. He ran a jobs program for ex-convicts that was partially funded by a civil rights group. African-American, Catholic and Jewish-owned newspapers praised his efforts.

The Detroit Black Panther Party sometimes came to him for money. He gave generously.

But Burwell had a secret that stayed buried with him until a box of weathered documents discovered in his old garage revealed the other half of his bizarre life story:

The civil rights champion who drove the church bus also wore the robes of the Ku Klux Klan.

Michigan State Police records found among Burwell’s belongings show he was a high-ranking member of the Detroit KKK. His widow confirms his Klan membership.

Read the rest.  And keep it in mind the next time you hear one of a gazillion lefties defending Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, or Henry Louis “Skip” Gates, Jr.  Behind the veneer of a White liberal defending Black racism, might lurk the hear of a top Klansman.  Not to mention, an uber-hypocrite.

This is just Exhibit #2. And I’m sure there are plenty more.

Dear Debbie:

Can you say Margaret Sanger?

A good reminder that many snakes are snakes in the grass, who masquerade as friends. They smile in your face, the back stabbers. That is surely the case with Burwell. May his hatred rot with him in hell.

I see that a 6 year old has taken over Mommy’s computer. Random undecipherable foolish comments all over comment board.

Lions, tigers, and trolls, oh my! Anyway…

My explanation of the KKK is: Obviously, the Democrat Party became a party where (back in the day) the Communists were able to find a comfortable home. Now, if you compare these three manifestos (KKK, Democrats, Communist-their respective platforms/what they stand for/their goals and programs)you will find them identical for all intents. We can also search and find that the KKK found the Democrat Party to be their favorite place. These days though, you can substitute Socialism for Communism. They are scarily similar!

Some things are sneaky and tend to morph. Remember who wrote: “The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” That was Norman Thomas. Check him out! This should beg the question why this type is always flocking to the Democrat Party.

These days we see some of these KKK cults attempting to sound as though they’re ‘right wing’ in some (extreme) fashion. Not so fast! Put your thinking caps back on! You will find that the Republican/Conservative Party has been their arch enemy. The Republican Party was the party that fought a very difficult war to free from their grasp peoples who they didn’t even consider as human. You see, just a cursory glance, with a thinking cap on, shows that it is totally unreasonable to think they are actually anything Republican.

We also know (as Debbie’s article examples so nicely) that the KKK is cunning, evil, and full of treachery, lies, tricks and espionage. Have you ever read the Confederate ‘constitution’ and do you know who wrote it? I’ll warn you, it’s a pretty awful read and sneaky, if you glance at it too quickly you might be fooled. It is most reasonable to know that these KKK who have become public (when they’ve always heretofore been compulsively secret, underground, and in the dark behind masks) are trying to take great pleasure in perpetuating the myth that their arch enemies hate the same people they hate, do the same things, and share the same beliefs. You know this makes no sense. Nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is quite obvious once you have your thinking cap in place again.

Even if one were to believe that President Lincoln didn’t actually have an interest in freeing the slaves but (only) wanted to save the Union… No. Keep the thinking cap on! This does not fit! Lets just say it’s true. Lincoln didn’t want to free the slaves 🙁 Lincoln did accomplish wrenching from them their human ‘possessions’ and disrupted all that they had, wanted, and planned. Lincoln abolished the thing that they had built their fortune on. Look, Lincoln, that Republican President, his Party, and his followers, totally ruined them. So, that is an argument that doesn’t make the least sense, even played out on KKK terms. Terms, btw, that the Democrat Party is all about perpetuating.

Do you want to be known as someone without a thinking cap? Do you want to be viewed by the KKK as not having one. For that matter, do you want to be viewed by anyone as not having a thinking cap?

Smile,

Very good post. I would also like to add a comment about another discriminatory group. What about the New Black Panthers and what they did during the November elections in Philly? We all know that the New Black Panthers endorsed Obama. Why has the Obama Justice Department dropped the charges against these racists? Perhaps I missed it, but I have not seen a detailed explanation as to why the Obama Justice Dapartment did this. Does anyone have additional information about this?

Likely there are modern day Jim Burwells.

Members of “Human Rights Watch” and “International Red Cross” and United Nation sponsored “human rights” groups would likely also belong to other “hate groups” as well.

These types are would up about “human rights abuses” of Jews in Israel, Americans in Iraq, but remain silent about abuses elsewhere.

This story doesn’t add up, Debbie. Either way, I think the Klan is pretty harmless compared to the Black political leaders we see today. Speaking of tribal bonds, maybe you should start a day counter on the blog counting the days Jonathan Pollard has been incarcerated for being Jewish and unsociable. If I was one of those machers who just met w/Obama, I wouldn’t have wasted it like they did, I’d have explained why JP must be free.

What better way to know your enemy than to befriend?

Just another example of Obama’s belief system on display. I’m sure Mr. Obama thought, after seeing this picture, who are the people going to believe, me or their own lying eyes. As with Gate’s gate Obama reflexively chose the incorrect side. The Black Panthers have little to fear from an Obama administration, in fact the only thing that could make their activities look questionable is if they changed their name to The White Panthers. If that were the case it would be Hates Crimes all around, for those involved. But the Justice Department under Obama’s leadership gives these thugs a walk. It was also reported on FOX that the gentleman with the baton, Jerry Jackson is a Certified Democrat Poll Watcher. This Guy will probably be told not to carry his weapon openly anymore, but to keep it hidden until he actually needs to hit someone. Hail the Black Panthers, hail ACORN, hail Obama and Chicago “politics as usual”.
