Edible Arrangements: Muslim Owners of Fruit Basket Company Fund HAMAS, Jihadist Extremism – What Not to Buy For Christmas

By Debbie Schlussel

**** UPDATE, 08/14/14: Edible Arrangements Muslim CEO Refuses to Condemn HAMAS, ISIS – EXCLUSIVE E-mails ****

Now, that it’s the holiday season and a time of buying and giving Christmas and Chanukah gifts, a lot of people make the convenient choice of sending fruit baskets to their friends and professional associates. But if you take this route, DON’T send a basket from Edible Arrangements. If you do, you are funding HAMAS abroad and Muslim community organizing, such as the group IMAN, the Inner City Muslim Action Network, in the U.S.

Edible Arrangements Fund HAMAS & Islamic Extremism

Tariq Farid is the CEO of Edible Arrangements, which he started with his brother, Kamran Farid. Not only are they devout Pakistani Muslims, but they are major donors and fundraisers for American mosques, Islamic schools, and similar enterprises in Pakistan. Recent tax returns of their Farid Foundation, to which they and Edible Arrangements are major contributors, show that their foundation gives tens of thousands of dollars to extremist Islamic schools and mosques in America and to Islamic Relief, the HAMAS/Al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood “charity” which sends tens of millions of dollars to finance jihad around the world. An Islamic Relief fundraiser I attended undercover featured young Muslim Arab kids simulating beheadings of Americans, Brits, and Israelis as the evening’s “entertainment.” And as I told you, Islamic Relief’s chief official in Gaza was a HAMAS official with Bin Laden’s photo, swastikas, and a “G-d Bless Hitler” banner as his screensavers. As I also told you, Islamic Relief’s registered agent in the U.S. is Kazbek Soobzokov, the son of Nazi Waffen SS officer Tscherim Soobzokov and the lawyer for deported accused terrorist and Islamic cleric, Imam Wagdy Mohamed Ghoneim.

The Farids and their Farid Foundation are also major donors to IMAN, the Chicago-based group which organizes Muslims to impose their extremist values on America’s political process and in America’s inner cities. The other purpose of the group is to convert Blacks and other inner city residents to Islam and help those who’ve already converted remain Muslim.

IMAN is a project and donee of the pro-HAMAS/pro-Hezbollah Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) (which was involved in the Holy Land Foundation HAMAS fundraising), and it’s a project of Islamic Relief–the HAMAS/Al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood “charity” which finances jihad worldwide. IMAN is run and funded by White Sunni Muslims to harvest inner city Blacks to Islam, which is why IMAN also has many Black Muslims from the Nation of Islam among its ranks. IMAN has an operation called “Muslim Run,” which urges Muslims to only buy from Muslim-run businesses. IMAN was founded and is headed by Rami Nashashibi, a Palestinian Muslim extremist. And Iman hosts speakers like Dalia Mogahed, an extremist and agent of the Muslim Brotherhood with close ties to Barack Obama.

Back in August during Ramadan, Tariq Farid sent out this e-mail on behalf of IMAN:

Dear Supporter

Since I first visited IMAN, I have been inspired not only by what it has accomplished, but by the passionate staff and volunteer leaders who work there. So now, I want to inspire you with a special challenge in these last sacred days of Ramadan: For every dollar you donate to IMAN online, I will match you one-to-one until the end of this blessed month.

We started Edible Arrangements in 1999 because we were driven by the need to provide people with healthy and creative food options. Our stores across the world offer such alternatives to tens of thousands of customers every year. I believe that IMAN is also committed to forging an alternative model. Whether it’s the free community health clinic, or community organizing for food equity, housing and public safety, or creative arts programming, IMAN’s mode of civic engagement inspires healthy change in some of our most vulnerable communities.

Meet my matching challenge in these last ten days of Ramadan and help deepen and broaden that work!

Sincerely,

Tariq Farid
CEO Edible Arrangements

Although many of the Edible Arrangements stores are franchises, the Farids collect millions in franchise fees and royalties from each store. And each time you buy anything from any Edible Arrangements store, the Farids get a cut and you are funding their HAMAS charities in Gaza and extremist Muslim community organizing in Chicago.

Don’t buy from Edible Arrangements.

***

Unfortunately, Edible Arrangements isn’t the only major funder of IMAN. You are. IMAN gets a good chunk of money from the U.S. State Department, and one wonders why. Is IMAN also organizing the Muslim community in other countries? If not, why is the State Department giving it money? Among its other funders are: Home Depot (don’t shop there, either), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, the City of Chicago Department of the Environment, the Chicago Department of Housing and Economic Development, the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority, and the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art. Who knew Doris Duke’s money was going to fund the Islamic takeover of America?

I’ll bet she never intended anything like that.

I would like to see some source information or articles that proves that the State Department is giving money to IMAN. I will then write my congress person to complain!

J: Try clicking on the link under “gets a good chunk of money.” It’s there for a reason. Thanks. DS

Jim on November 29, 2012 at 5:28 pm

I too would love to see more source info. Yes, I saw the link of contributors to IMAN, but need source info on the rest of the claims made in the article.

The reason I want this info is because I pass articles like this along to others. I need to make sure the info I send out is properly sourced, or I loose credibility. I’ve made this mistake before.

    thanks!

    Wal22nut on November 30, 2012 at 11:00 am

You said “I saw the link too” which indicates the State Department et. al gives money to IMAN.

Then you asked for more information or you’d “Loose” credibility. I really hope you don’t “Loose” anymore credibility.

Wow, thanks for the heads up! I was considering sending an EA basket to my sister-in-law for her birthday, but now I think I’ll put together a wine basket instead (she prefers the vino, anyway!).

Alan on November 29, 2012 at 5:29 pm

Yes, thanks for exposing these murderous, vile creepy muslims and their enterprise.

DS_ROCKS! on November 29, 2012 at 5:45 pm

Yuck, I wouldn’t buy anything from EA anyway. All that fruit is handled and fussed over too much for my liking. Doesn’t seem very sanitary.

Dearborn Mike on November 29, 2012 at 6:02 pm

Of course you know that if you encourage boycotting Jihad supporting companies your an Islamophobe whereas if you support a boycott against Chick Fil A your a hero.
By the way DS, I researched Islamophobia and apparently there is no such thing, at least as far as any professional psychiatric association on planet earth is concerned. A phobia is a mental disorder and Islamophobia and Homophobia for that matter are not. I could be wrong on these facts but I would challenge and liberal to find a registered psychiatrist willing to diagnose either one of these.
Cheers, Mike K.

Somebody sent us an edible arrangement when my brother stepped on an IED in Afghanistan…. awkward…

Roofus on November 29, 2012 at 6:46 pm

Jeez. I am very glad to know this! I had no idea and would have never thought. I will NOT give my $$$ to any organization or thing that supports jihad. I take it very seriously.

And I have never heard of IMAN (other than that model married to Bowie…) and my head was spinning before I heard of them because the countries that facilitate jihad and the charities and organizations have me dizzy this month as I read up more and more on them.

I was just reading about ISNA and Islamic Relief and again, readers of DS, there are so many of these they will make you dizzy. It’s important to take notes and learn them if you can.

I don’t know what is worse…the amount of Mooooslim names it’s hard to keep track of or all these organizations and their sub-organizations that help facilitate zakat and hawala.

DS’ archives are a great place to start. I am so glad to know about EA. I was just talking about that company last week with a family member!

Skunky on November 29, 2012 at 6:49 pm

Ma’am–ISNA (the Islamic Society of North America) is the endorsing agency which places Muslim chaplains on active duty for the US Army, US Navy (supplies chaplains to the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard), and US Air Force. Every chaplain entering active duty must be endorsed by an agency to serve in our armed forces. How sad that the chaplaincies of these three branches of service rely on the ISNA to accession chaplains.

If you want to buy fruit baskets buy from Harry & David or other good American holiday merchants.

Don’t give your money to fund Islamic proselytizing, Islamic terrorism and the enemies of America and Israel!

Edible Arrangements is not what it appears to be. And thank Debbie for performing a much needed public service for the 2012 holiday season.

It is a bigger version of what goes on at some gasoline stations.

Worry01 on November 29, 2012 at 8:00 pm

Debbie – Excellent work getting this info out. This is stuff one will never see in the Obama controlled media.

Also, only a fool would buy this crap. Everyone who posted about the sanitation factor of this fruit hit the nail right on the head. You don’t know if these people have washed their hands, sneezed on it or just got through picking their nose. Just the thought of getting something like that from someone makes me want to toss my cookies.

Keep up the good work Debbie.

Mike on November 29, 2012 at 8:43 pm

So I am very happy to find this out…gee I wonder if the main stream media would shout ‘boycott’ if they would even bother? This is so troubling to me. I can just see so much of this becoming more common in our USA. Let’s stand together in our efforts to expose the ‘greedy’ hate america people..but love to make money on our land and spread , hate and terrorism. This must stop !! Thanks again Deb for getting this out .

Chrystal on November 29, 2012 at 9:57 pm

As a couple of people have pointed out, I was always nauseated by the idea of these “fruit arrangements” because of the handling/preservatives/sanitation issues, but now that I learned it is a muslim enterprise preying on us infidels, the question is not *if* they sneeze or otherwise taint the fruit with their dirty hands/saliva/urine/poor sanitation but only to what degree.

DS_ROCKS! on November 29, 2012 at 10:01 pm

In all cases of food in the work place, I just don’t trust anyones cleanliness standards. Period. This EA sounds gross all around. So many people will scoop up free crap without thought of the origin.

samurai on November 29, 2012 at 11:10 pm

Bravo! And if you need some more reasons not to buy from Edible Arrangement, let me add this comment from a franchisee of the company:

Tariq Farid (CEO Edible Arrangements) tries to use the American Legal system to his advantage at every turn. He is a dishonest, unethical criminal who tries to hind behind his so called religious faith. He tries to build a mosque in the middle of a residential neighborhood in CT and when the neighbors cry foul, he claims that his religious freedoms are being trampled by a ‘Sad Agenda” against Islam. He continually rapes his franchisees with new fees, mandatory purchases from vendors he owns and unreasonable and unsustainable business models. As EA stores are closing all across the country, he claims the system has never been stronger. He is a snake oil saleman, its as simple as that.

Ralph Adamo on November 29, 2012 at 11:20 pm

Yes, Harry and David are good Jewish boys whose father, Samuel Rosenberg started the company. They always offer Chanukah wrapping but I’m not sure about kashruth.

Italkit on November 29, 2012 at 11:58 pm

I couldn’t care less really. I love Edible Arrangements and will continue to buy and receive them.

ROSIEB on December 5, 2012 at 2:55 am

The Farids have also gotten sued by several EA franchisees for questionable business practices.

Marc on November 30, 2012 at 9:52 am

Home Depot too!!!!??? The founders are Jews! They fill a huge void in the home improvement and contractors market for affordable renovations! This is beyond depressing! Please, Debbie, inform Home Depot of this atrocity. I’m sure you can help make it stop.
As for Edible Arrangements, when I firs learned about 5yrs ago of the CEO/founder my radar went off. It’s overpriced fruit.

Andrea405 on November 30, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Regarding Home Depot (“HD”) as a funder of IMAN, it may be that IMAN is exaggerating HD’s role as a funder on its website attempt to give itself credibility by association. The only indication that I’ve been able to find that HD helped IMAN was in the donation of equipments and supplies from HD’s inventory to assist to building certain Chicago “community housing,” for the vaguely stated purposes of helping people in the community. Please note that I’m not defending HD, as even providing tools, equipment, supplies and the like for “housing” is no noble thing given that IMAN is the sponsor of the projects. (More about this latter.)

HD may think it will earn Brownie Points with Muslim shoppers by its “goodwill” gesture, but HD should also know that it is on a list of companies that Muslim, Leftist, and other such groups want the public to boycott because one of HD’s founders, Bernie Marcus, is a Jew and has donated funds to Jewish and Israeli causes. I know this stuff because I occasionally go slumming among the Internet websites of groups who have values and interests diametrically oppposed to my own–so I can find out what the enemies of civilization are thinking or doing.

I agree that HD’s corporate offices ought to be told about this, and maybe HD is just ignorant and shortsighted in its donation of equipment and supplies for IMAN projects–assuming that that was the nature of their “funding.” Other coporations have done similar ignorant and shortsighted things like this, so it certainly makes sense to try to contact them about this.

For example, you may recall an article that Debbie wrote about one of L’Oreal’s Islamo-Nazi spokespersons. Readers responded by contacting L’Oreal, and L’Oreal dumped that spokesperson. See: http://www.debbieschlussel.com/51857/after-schlussel-reader-inquiry-loreal-dumps-pro-hitlerhezbollah-arab-ambassador/

I suggest that we do the same here.

Here is the information that I’ve been able to obtain about the extent of HD’s donations to IMAN (obtained from as IMAN source), with the reference to HD to bold type:

Green Reentry: From House to Home
Posted on January 30, 2012 by Haroon Najam

“We want to change how society views formerly-incarcerated individuals,” says Dr. Rolanda West. Speaking of a training program for the brothers reentering the Chicago Lawn community through IMAN’s Green Reentry Project, she adds that “it aims to teach the social, emotional, spiritual, leadership and, eventually, economic skills necessary to make a successful reentry into the community.” The formation of a functional and empowering social identity is the key, according to her, to making such individuals pillars and leaders of the communities they are returning to.

The first house constructed under the Green Reentry Project is a beautiful and environmentally sound space made possible by training provided by the City of Chicago’s Department of Environment, major funding from the Islamic Society of North America and Zakat Foundation, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FROM HOME DEPOT, and resources from key donor families. It has been up and running and is becoming a critical resource for the surrounding community. It has hosted a series of meetings attended by residents, representatives from the City of Chicago and Green Reentry leaders, in which actions plans are being developed for how to tackle local issues such as public safety and foreclosed homes. IMAN has provided leadership for such meetings and is in the process of becoming fully certified with the Illinois Department of Corrections so that reentering individuals can come to the Green Reentry houses upon their release.

theShadow on November 30, 2012 at 10:43 pm

Edible Arrangement stores are owned and operated by franchisees that are your neighbors and live in your community. These owners bought into a business plan that pays a royality to a franchiser and in this case the franchise is owned by the Farid family. Recently The Farids sold a portion of the business to a private equity firm, Catterton Partners of Greenwich, CT, with what is believed to be the beginning of a total buyout by Catterton.
The misdirected punishment by boycott will greatly impact the ‘Mom & Pop’ franchisees and will also have a trickle down reduction on royalty fees paid to the Farids but the burden of the reduced revenue will fall on the small local business man.
The product is unique, popular and a great gift, what is objectionable is where a portion of its corporate profits are being spent. Direct your objection to these contributions to Catterton (info@cpequity.com) the projected new owners of Edible Arrangements.

Ken on November 30, 2012 at 11:34 pm

First, I don’t believe that you are an EA franchisee. If you were, why don’t you tell us the name and the address of the store that you run on behalf of the Farids, instead of trying to insult the host of this Website? You don’t because you are a liar. More likely you are one of the Farids or their agents or friends.

Second, any person signing on to a franchise run by the Farids, who are Islamo-Nazis, is asking for trouble, and should be expecting boycotts as a normal part of business activities. The same goes for employees that work for business that are beholden to Islamo-Nazis.

Third, nobody “needs” EA and its products. If you want fruit, there are several all-American companies that offer the top-of-the-line fruits, including organic fruits. And when you buy from these quality all-American companies, you have the peace of mind of knowing that your fruit is clean and not exposed to excessive bacteria and who knows what else.

So just go back to your Mosque, and get lost.

Ralph Adamo on December 1, 2012 at 12:28 am

I just wanted to clear a few things here. There are millions of Muslims so for you to claims that they are “jihadists” or all that other nonsense is crucially incorrect. Muslims are not terrorists and people do not fu terrorizing foundations. If anything, Muslims are being brutally killed around the world by NON-Muslims. I believe that is what you would called terrorizing. Clearly you’re an uneducated racist who makes things up for others to believe. In the Quran, it states that taking ones soul is forbiddin and nothing we support. If you really don’t understand Islam, then I suggest you read the most holy book of ours. Christianity is VERY similar to Islam and you’re portraying LIES of which we would frown upon. I also suggest you read the bible because what you’re saying and implying is also frowned upon in Christianity as well. If you have any disbelief, you should open a book before you open your mouth. Besides, Jewish coporations are funding their money to terrorize Palestine, but you don’t see Muslims telling people to stop drinking Starbucks. Come on. Get real and get a new hobby.

Shirine on December 1, 2012 at 1:42 am

This Moooooslim pig (Shirine) must think this is the Justin Bieber blog and we know nothing about Islam. Nice try, Mooooslime slime. FAIL.

What race is Islam, Moooslim pig? DUH!

Not all Moooooslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Mooooslims. And the non-terrorist ilk want the jihadists to take us out so where is the distinction, Mooooslim pig?

Mooooslims are killing Mooooslims more than your dumb lie that non-Moooslims are killing Moooooslims disproportionately. We know when they aren’t trying to take out the Jooooos and non-Mooooslims they spend their time taking out each other (shiite and sunni plus). Clearly you have ignored the civil wars in Egypt, Libya and Syria.

I noticed you didn’t mention the parts in the Koran that state that Jews are pigs and that taqiyya is a halal tactic. No, you wouldn’t now, would you.

And PIGslam is NOTHING like Christianity. In the book of Genesis Ishmael and his mum are banished and never heard from again. That is a great example of Islam’s illegitimacy.

We have ZERO sympathy for Fakestinians so who cares if your heart bleeds for those beasts.

You’re just angry because the owner of this blog has Islam sussed and is spreading the word. You need to go on Honey Boo Boo blogs to have anyone to believe the slop you are shilling.

Skunky on December 1, 2012 at 11:43 am

Why is everyone so defensive if these claims aren’t true? Don’t you think Ms. Schlussel would be hit with a lawsuit if she was making up false claims. I live in Hamden and believe me, the Farids LOVE the legal system. Sadly, the information she is referring to is public information and very factual unless the Farids are lying to the IRS.
Go back to your mosque Shirine!

Debbie: suggestion… In your permanent links, can you add 2 sections? Have one for companies that do the right thing and stand up against Jihad, and deserve our support. And the other, for companies like Edible Arrangements.

Once that’s done, maintain that, and have a criteria by which companies that do the wrong thing can come off the list if they rectify it, like L’Oreal or American Express did.

Infidel on December 1, 2012 at 8:47 am

Cunt, go back to Fuckistan or Saudi Arabia or Bangladesh and peddle your Edible Arrangements there. That way, in addition to all the money that already goes to Hamas, people can put in more just by shopping @ your place.

Oh, and the icing on the cake – they could even fund other Jihad organizations elsewhere, such as Lashkar e Toiba, al Qaeda, Jemiyah Islamiyah and so on.

Infidel on December 1, 2012 at 8:52 am

I was never a big fan of fruit baskets. Yes I know some people just go ga-ga over these things but I would rather give you a dozen roses or whatever. I just think that they look tacky and inedible. I also have a problem with a company that has an owner/CEO who uses the money from said company to help finance not only anti-American mosques and schools but “charities” that funnel money to the usual dirtbag muslim terrorists groups. It seems the Farids are knee deep into all of this kind of stuff and for thoses people who want to shoot the messenger by questioning her motives or calling her names you need to get a grip. Debbie has been right each and everytime when she exposes companies like EA. This is because unlike muslims and liberals she does her homework and gets her facts straight. We do know how muslims and liberals love it when facts about them are exposed. So I guess Debbie can expect more heartburn posts on this topic but I think that she can handle it. In any event enjoy your “yummy” fruity baskets folks but as for me this just gives me another reason to pass EA up-again.

Ken b on December 1, 2012 at 9:14 am

Edible Arrangements is a franchise and the independent owners have their own beliefs. We are not all Muslims, as a Christian I give my thithe to my local church. I suggest you begin to pray for the owners rather than boycott us. We purchased a business not a religion. We should not be penalized for wanting to own our own business.
By choosing to boycott or business you will be hurting thousands of employees, owners and their families. Please rethink your actions.

not important on December 1, 2012 at 10:20 am

Re-think our actions? Ok, for me to do that (and you have to know that we have learned things here that you have NO CLUE on) I would have to say, “Oh hey, I think it’s ok to give my $$$ to a business that sends $$ to terror financiers and hates Jews and the USA and Christians”.

I won’t be doing that anytime soon.

You dopes who are clueless on Jihad are really starting to get on my nerves fiercely.

And you saying this column is “not important” just screams what an ignorant dope you are. Just face it, if the Obamaconomy does not do you in your Company’s jihadists WILL.

Ibn ‘Omar said, “The Prophet mentioned the Dajjal to the people. He said,
“Allah is not one-eyed, but the Dajjal is blind in his right eye, and his

Abu Hurayrah said, “The Prophet said, ‘Shall I tell you something about
the Dajjal which no Prophet has ever told his people before me? The Dajjal

and Hell; but that which he calls Paradise will in fact be Hell. I warn

First off I want to say to you that the only begotten Son of YVWH (God)the name revealed to Moses, which means, I Am that I Am. YASHUA Messiah, which means, the Salvation of our God. Emmanuel, God among us. In English, Jesus Christ, anointed one. This is the Son of the Living God. He is not a Prophet of the One and only true God, YVWH, He is the Son of this God and He is God. It is all there in His name. Now this one YASHUA, Emmanuel, Jesus the Christ, spoke about the antichrist this way: 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is an-ti-christ, that denieth the Father and the Son. And V 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknoweledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Now, what does your prophet say about who and what Jesus Christ, YASHUA is? I know that his teachings deny that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God, so who is the antichrist?

I HAVE TO MAKE A CORRECTION… WHEN I SAY FAKE JEWS…. I MEAN THE ZIONISTS…. BUT WHO KNOWS?? YOU’RE PROBABLY A PART OF THEM TOO.

DQ on December 1, 2012 at 8:22 pm

Tariq Farid is a genuine ahole regardless of his beliefs or not. He is a greedy greedy person who only cares about getting as much money from his franchisees as possible. I have owned my store for 8 years and it is the worst decision I have made in my life. His fees for having the store has gone from 7% to 12% based on the order. If you order online or throughout the call center that is an extra 2%. If you need supplies for your store you buy through his companies which supplies his continuous growth of wealth. As soon as we all start to profit he finds another way to keep you from making money. He is a coward of a man when it comes to talking to us as owners.

If he spends his money on funding all this crap then the government would be on his ass. They are not oblivious to the donors of militant groups. The true crime is how he has managed to get people to buy into his store concept with lies and manipulation only to make sure we are more broke then when we opened. If a survey was actually taken of all the stores in the system (1100+ or 1000+ in US) over 90% would say the business model is flawed. Amazing how as a CEO your focus is on making sure your business owners that trusted you stay broke. I look forward to the day I am outta this shit business. My sales have increased 10-25% per year but I have nothing to show for it except continuous computer fees (netsolace), tv fees 3%, and order processing fees 2%. On a weekly basis he takes his money regardless of your stores sales. If they run a promotion for free boxes or $10 off you would think a business would help their stores with some relief (free materials or discounted royalties), but no help is seen. If your store is running you are paying at least $300 per week to operate before credit card fees which he controls at 2.29% even though the amount of stores we have would qualify us for lower. They keep it high so he can get rebated the difference.

The last straw was when he made all stores be open on Sunday. As I write this I am preparing to goto my store and work on my day off because I can’t afford to pay a person to sit there and waste away. He told us it would be reconsidered after a year and it never was. If they catch you not open he sends out a noncompliance letter. If you are Christian that is your problem because you have to open. If your store does no business on Sunday you have to be open regardless of the history over the past 2 years of it being a waste of a business day. He respects no one and I pray someone takes him down and takes away everything from him that he has taken from all of our families in the franchise. He is a tyrant and needs to be handled like he handled his wife when he beat her and ended up divorced from it. Search the court system in conneticut and up it pops. Which is interesting considering he made his now ex wife CEO of Netsolace so he could fee us more and then when she leaves his ass (cheating wih his assistant is the word from his office) he then gets the company back in his name. Another Farid manipulation done pulled off. The other interesting part is the corporate office employees tell of how he screams at his workers and does not hesitate to belittle them in from of their peers and even fires them on the spot regardless of who is around. The corporate staff lives daily in fear of confrontation with him. He does not respect women at all as I have had numerous run ins with him and even told him he will not come to my store and treat me like I am his property. After he beat his wife I keep a gun in my store just in case he raises a hand at me.

Lastly, how sad is it when a group of owners have to come together and form a group to sue your ass for continuous lying and stealing from the franchise you developed. The group is EAIFA and has been in a suit against this ahole for the past 2 years. He has had his lawyers do everything to not let this group have all the documents and proof they have bee granted by the court. If anyone wants to truly help then please help is group with their fees in paying the attorneys Justin Klein. All members are anonymous due to fear of retaliation from the Farid family.

Debbie find us a writer that can research the greed of franchising and how it is a flawed system that allows for the owners to be mistreated and lied to and not be investors like we were told to be. Start with investigating this company and then look at dunkin donuts and subway. They all make sure it’s owners stay broke.

Help us get rid of Tariq and his family from the US. He needs to sell of the rest of his shares to his investors (Cateron group) so the people that actually make his business run can feel like they have a purpose. Please get rid of is bad bad person. Fuck You Tariq!

Not that funding HAMAs is acceptable, but why is it less so, or less hateful than Irish Catholics funding the IRA?

J: Who said it was. I don’t support that either, as I oppose IRA terrorism. Show me a biz that’s funding that, and I’ll complain about that biz, too. And the IRA trained Palestinian and other Islamic terrorists, too, FYI. DS

How did I manage to miss this. Thank you very much for posting this Debbie. I am going to spread the word to family and friends as well as share.

Debbie, this is why I love you. You bring out information about the jihadist and their underlings in the USA and abroad. I never trust fruit baskets where they are delivered like some above readers have commented. I have been seen some disgusting things done in so called “fresh salad and fruit bars” and I since have resigned to making my own salads whether they are fruit or vegetable. I have stop buying anything that Debbie has putted up here that support the terrorist/jihadists who give a falafel in one hand and then a throat slit with the other. I learned best way to hurt these merchants is to hur them in the pocket book. By the Way Debbie, notice how the mainstream leftist media ignores this and other news you have mentioned in the past? However these same a**holes are quick to name every company, mutual fund, etc that invest in Israel. Keep up the good work that you are doing Debbie, unfortunately you have to fight the ignoramusas and the people that want to hurt you.

Mario on December 2, 2012 at 8:36 pm

just a thought. as the muslims want to destroy ‘christians’ what stops them from poisoning these gift baskets to christians or jews? or just being really dirty/nasty and doing things to the fruit after cutting etc.
just from a cleanliness point of view i wouldn’t eat that sh-tuff! which hand do they wipe with? right or left is it?

ralph on December 3, 2012 at 1:03 pm

Hey, TrueGrit, if you’re going to mock or criticize Wal22nut for misuse of the word “loose,” at least use the correct spelling and verbiage in your reply. “Anymore” is not the correct word in your sentence. It should have been “any more” in that context. Look it up!

my family is jewish and owns several edible arrangement stores…they have a very close friendship with the owners of edible…this article is nothing but false reporting and lies…you will all see the truth soon

Jen on December 5, 2012 at 1:40 pm

Thank you Jen for saying this! My boyfriend owns an edible arrangements as well and this is totally false. And for those of you who say its not sanitary or any other stupid comment like that, how stupid can you be? These stores are extremely regulated down to where they get the fruit from, how they clean and even what they clean with! health and safety concerns are extremely important to this company. Don’t believe these lies! There is no factual proof of this information she is writing. What Debbie is doing is racial profiling and very racist!

Nataly on December 6, 2012 at 8:08 pm

Thank u so much for the heads up. Now we all know for sure that you are clueless and ignorant . Good luck

A on December 6, 2012 at 1:46 pm

As a former employee I’m appalled by this and don’t condone them supporting these groups. HOWEVER, you people have to understand that this IS a franchise and the franchise owners are innocent bystanders from this claim. By boycotting the business you are hurting people’s jobs and income of the business. And until I see the tax returns for myself I will continue to support my local store

A: Get a clue. I have the tax returns and might post them. However, I wouldn’t lie or make this up, or the Farids would sue me. You are in denial and part of the problem, NOT the solution. DS

Woah sparky chill with the bite. I’m not disagreeing with this article, I’m just not a sheep that follows everything I hear from the media and government without seeing the facts for myself. I understand that you can be sued for defamation, and look out cause they will be coming after you. I’m just looking at the inside business of it since I worked there and my husband is still employeed by a franchise location. The farids DO NOT have the franchisees best interest at heart, hence why they are constantly be sued. Karma is a b*tch and they will reap the befinfits of their actions. All I’m saying is the franchise owners shouldn’t be condemned because of someone else’s choices. What I plan on doing is paying my friend (franchise owner) cash so it can stay off the books and out of the farids pocket! Other people should do the same. Maybe with this bad press some rich person will come along and buy the company off of them and run it the right way!

Anyone that has done even the most rudimentary research into the religion of Islam & possesses a superficial knowledge of what the Koran teaches will know that their goal is to either convert the infidel (non-muslim) or reduce them to slave status through the Jizya tax and oppression. (Obviously – the more fanatical Jihadists interpret some of the prophet Muhammed’s teachings as justifying the extermination of all non-muslims until the whole world is under the Caliphate).

Billy on December 25, 2012 at 1:06 pm

Debbie its so strange that you have so much time to research me but not enough time to reason why ppl hate bigots like you across the globe.

Every Friday more than a quarter of the world population of Muslims who attend prayers hear the sermon that 9 out of ten times starts like this….

Allah guides whom He wills
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

… And Debbie you along with the tons of other Muslims or Non- Muslims who are misguided are the ones Allah has chosen to leave astray.

May peace be with you and may Allah guide you and your fellow supporters. Ameen

No islamic charlatan hate organisation is going to get my custom, halal should be boycotted wherever it’s found. Use your own money to practice superstition over your food, and let the rest of us enjoy our freedom and culture.

This is very interesting , true or not, I stop buying , including everyone I know , their product because of my horrible experiance working for them!!! They treat their employes like slaves. They scream, yell, insult, name calling, humiliating it is beyond belief .
They act like they are Gods, when they walk to a meeting room everyone is treified ,some of us use to bet who is going to be yield at. I wish that I had recorded some of the meeting , it would have been great for YouTube .
I believe they have an incrideble employee turn over rate. Most vendors hate working with them!! I just wonder how many lawsuit they have,? Especialy the brother, Kamran? He is the most arrogant person I have ever met!

Bratt on January 6, 2014 at 1:35 am

    Dear Bratt,

Kamran lives next door to me, unfortunately, and he IS suing me in a crazy claim he has on my land. He wants it and he is suing us for adverse possession. He has surveillance cameras on us all of the time. He put a pit bull on my property to harass us, etc. It’s awful.

    Can you lend anything?

    Thanks so much.
