Dumb: Leftist John Cusack to Play Rush Limbaugh in Propaganda Biopic
Actor John Cusack’s day has come and gone . . . a long time ago. The last good movie he was in was 1999’s “Being John Malkovich,” and I liked him best in 1985’s “Better Off Dead.” You can say that movie title applies to his showbiz career, too. But he can’t take the hint. His failed leftist, anti-American movies, such as “War Inc.,” went nowhere. But he’s back and up to his old tricks, including a plan to play Rush Limbaugh in a predictably hateful “biopic.”
I asked Jedi Master of Photoshop Art David Lunde of Lundesigns to show us what Cusack would look like as El-Rushbo by putting his face on Rush’s head, and this is what he came up with, below. As you can see, Cusack as Rush ain’t exactly convincing. Probably the same deal with the script. You know it will be a hit piece flick, since liberal Cusack is developing the film as a vehicle for himself. It’s set to be directed by Betty Thomas, who directed Howard Stern’s love letter to himself, “Private Parts.”
Check out David’s pic of Cusack as Rush . . .
Yup, even less convincing than the absurd makeup job that transformed Anthony Hopkins into a bizarrely incongruous Alfred Hitchcock for “Hitchcock.”
If you were casting an accurate movie on Rush Limbaugh, whom would you cast to play him? I would pick actor Brian Dennehy (and Rosie O’Donnell or Janeane Garofalo to play Sandra Fluke). (I also know who I would pick to play the cast of “Desperate Petraeus Sister Wives,” too, but I’ll save that for another post.)

If Cusack utters on screen word-for-word Limbaugh’s words spoken on air over the last 10 years, then Cusack may be in for a shock when the audience leaves the theater converted from liberalism toward Tea Party conservative.
