If you’ve never heard of Marty Knollenberg and Mike Bouchard, you should, even if you don’t live in the place where they’re running for office and aren’t eligible to vote for them. That’s because they’re two of a growing number of Republican candidates who pander to Muslims–particularly Muslims DIRECTLY connected to Hezbollah–in exchange for campaign cash.

Knollenberg, a Michigan legislator, is running for Treasurer of Oakland County, the suburban Detroit county where Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann, grew up. And Marty Knollenberg was on the stage with the Romneys when they won the Michigan Presidential Primary, back in February. But if you vote in Oakland County or know anyone who does, please tell them to hold their noses and vote against Knollenberg, the Republican candidate for Country Treasurer, and in favor of his liberal Democrat opponent, Andy Meisner. We need to send a message to the GOP that when they pander like Democrats to Muslims, we don’t elect them (it’s a message we sadly did not send Mitt Romney in the Republican Primaries). The issue of Islamic terrorism trumps party and everything else. If it doesn’t for you, please don’t vote.

As I told you back in 2006:

Knollenberg–the son of Republican U.S. Congressman Joe Knollenberg–has received some interesting contributions from outside the State of Michigan:

* Nijad & Zeina Fares–Nijad Fares is the son of Hezbollah-backed, Syrian installed former Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon, Issam Fares, deposed not long ago. At the time of his and his wife’s contributions to Knollenberg, Issam Fares was still in power as Deputy Prime Minister. The Fares Family are strong supporters of Hezbollah and Syria and are believed to be conduits of Hezbollah campaign contributions in America, since they are naturalized U.S. citizens and legally able to contribute to American political campaigns.

Nijad Fares also gave thousands to Marty Knollenberg’s father, Congressman Joe, after he pushed through Congress about $86 million in USAID funds to Hezbollah-controlled Southern Lebanon at the request of pro-Hezbollah/pro-HAMAS Jim Zogby of the Arab American Institute in 2000. Knollenberg’s then-Chief of Staff, Paul Welday, aided in this allocation. The money was never traced. Who knows how many missiles and rockets that paid for?

* Abdallah Bouhabib–Bouhabib was the Lebanese Ambassador to the United States at the time that the U.S. Marine barracks were bombed by Hezbollah and over 241 U.S. Marines were murdered. He complained that President Reagan’s only concern in Lebanon was the Marines. Since then, Bouhabib settled in the U.S., where he became an official in the World Bank facilitating meetings with and billions of dollars for P.L.O. leader Yasser Arafat.
American Lebanese activists in the “March 14th Coalition” (a group of Christians, Sunnis, Druze and others who are working to free Lebanon entirely of Syria and Hezbollah) say that Bouhabib worked against them and supported Syria’s occupation of their country.

Bouhabib and Mr. and Mrs. Fares gave Marty Knollenberg $500 a piece. That might seem small to you, but it’s the maximum allowed under Michigan law per election cycle.

Oh, and FYI, Marty’s dad, Republican former U.S. Congressman Joe Knollenberg, did bidding for Hezbollah, too. As I’ve previously told you, pop Knollenberg also took Hezbollah cash, and in exchange, sought nearly $200 million in USAID money for Hezbollah. He succeeded in getting Hezbollah nearly $100 million. The money was never tracked or seen again, and likely went to missiles showering over Israel.

And lest you think the Knollenbergs are conservative, think again. Both of them are for gay rights. That’s because Marty’s brother/Joe’s son is openly gay. So, Marty voted against defense of marriage legislation in Michigan and for several gay rights bills.

Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard presents a similar set of dhimmi Republican problems. A career politician like Knollenberg, he is an Islamo-pandering Christian Arab who was the honored guest of fundraisers for his campaigns held by Hezbollah agents, including Osama Siblani, publisher of the anti-Semitic Arab American News and relative of a top exec at Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV. As I’ve told you and shown you, Bouchard is the conduit between Republicans and Muslim agents of Iran who are openly not just anti-Israel, but anti-Semitic. He is tight with Imam Hassan Qazwini, who hosted an anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan appearance at his mosque and cheered on his anti-Semitic comments. He is also the man who arranged for Michigan Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette to have a fundraiser with the top Hezbollah activists in the Muslim community. And Bouchard made a point of hanging out with the pro-Hezbollah/HAMAS, anti-Israel, extremist Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan, including during the Israel-Hezbollah war. Bouchard has repeatedly been endorsed by the Muslim “Arab American PAC,” which openly supports Hezbollah and HAMAS, and an officer of which (Lola Elzein-Merhi) sent me death, rape, and torture threats.

Oakland County is now a majority Democrat County and is going more and more so. So, the odds are good that Meisner and Jane Boudreau can be elected (in Meisner’s case, re-elected). I would rather have an open liberal Democrat than Hezbollah gay rights Republican career politicians who have higher ambitions for public office and need to be retired. That’s why I will hold my nose, split my ticket, and vote for Republican Mitt Romney for President but Democrats Andy Meisner for County Treasurer and Jane Boudreau for Sheriff.

If you love America and want to stop the Islamic threat, you will tell your friends in Oakland County, Michigan to vote against Hezbollah Republicans Marty Knollenberg and Mike Bouchard.
