Fed Reserve Bomber’s Accomplice Charged w/ Child Porn; Planned to Kill Prez; Illegally Employed by NYC Restaurant

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m not surprised at all that would-be Federal Reserve Bank of New York bomber Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis came to the United State on a State Department-issued student visa. In 2011, the State Department issued 476,000 student visas, many of them to Muslims, including over 66,000 to Saudi-sponsored Muslim students. Do you think the U.S. government is keeping tabs on all of them or even a sufficient fraction? Think again. But this is part of the Obama-Push ever since 9/11 to increase student and other visas to the U.S. And I’ve written about many Muslim student visa holders also engaged in Islamic terrorism, dry runs, violent crimes, and terrorism recruitment, among other fatal shenanigans. But I’m also not surprised that Nafis had an accomplice in Sand Diego, who was arrested on child pornography charges. Hey, yet again, it’s that “Islamic modesty” that Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby told us about when he had a fit over U.S. interrogation techniques at Guantanamo Bay. The accomplice and Nafis were allegedly planning to murder Presidenti Obama.

Oh, and remember how Mitt Romney said he would end Islamic extremism by giving Muslims “the dignity of work”? Guess what? Nafis’ family is middle class and his father is a banker, who spent his life’s savings to send his son to school here in America. Not exactly a deprived child, was he? And yet he was ready to blow up plenty of Americans in a bank building and assassinate the President.

One other note: Nafis was working at a Manhattan restaurant. But that’s a violation of his student visa, which forbids employment. How did he get the job? What’s the name of the restaurant? And why did it hire Nafis? Can you imagine if Nafis had decided to poison the food instead (and didn’t tell an FBI informant)?

More:

A man identified as a co-conspirator in an alleged plot to bomb the Federal Reserve Bank of New York was taken into custody Wednesday but won’t face terrorism charges, people familiar with the matter said.

The suspect was detained in San Diego in the same Federal Bureau of Investigation sting operation that nabbed Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, who was arrested Wednesday after allegedly trying to detonate what he thought was a bomb from a hotel room near the Fed in Manhattan’s Financial District.

The suspected co-conspirator, identified only as “Yaqueen” in a criminal complaint against Mr. Nafis, won’t face terrorism-related charges in part because he was physically far from Mr. Nafis and apparently had little role in the alleged plot. The San Diego man is being investigated for allegedly possessing child pornography, the people said.

Mr. Nafis was charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting to provide material support to al Qaeda. He faces life in prison if convicted. He hasn’t entered a plea, and his public defender hasn’t commented.

Mr. Nafis recruited the San Diego man to participate in an attack, communicating over Facebook FB +0.11% about targeting a high-level American public official, according to the complaint. A law-enforcement official said that target was President Barack Obama, but the notion had never risen beyond the level of chatter. . . .

New details of Mr. Nafis’s life emerged Thursday. New York Police Department Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the suspect worked as a busboy in a Manhattan restaurant and lived in Queens.

Again, who is this restaurant owner who illegally employed this Muslim alien? And what is happening to him/her?

Probably nothing. And that’s why employers continue to employ people like him. We’re simply not serious about enforcing immigration law or fighting Islamic terrorists.

Yup.

That’s one of the things that won’t come up in the presidential foreign policy debate next week.

And the Qazi Nafis of America will continue to plot to damage our economy, take away work from America and assassinate our President.

America: desperate but not serious in the war against Islam.

We will not get serious about stopping the Islamic/terrorist threat until a politician or his/her family is killed. As long as only “the little people” suffer, nothing will happen.

I guess that ol Henry Kissinger adage applies here…

It is good for America to bleed a little (that’s what he said about Israel)!

As goes Israel, so goes the World... on October 19, 2012 at 4:35 pm

Henry Kissinger and his parents should never have left Germany.

This is “investing in education”. When we’re not training foreigners to beat the pants off of us in manufacturing, we’re bringing them in to attack us. Great investment!

Don’t think I’m soft on these guys, I’m not. But here goes…

How come every time we see one of these guys now in the USA… they’re working all along with the FBI and have somehow called the FBI for their bomb making components? Every little idiot in gaza and the shomron can seemingly put together explosives from tissue paper and rubber bands and kill our friends and family within Israel, yet in the USA they’re always “given fake explosives from the FBI” and coddled into it all the way? I have no idea what to make of this.

Reality,

I think DS may have answered your question in the body of her FIRST post on this yesterday…

“This appears to be another one of the FBI operations in which an Islamic extremist is recruited and set up to participate in a terrorist attack by FBI agents and informants posing as terrorists. While I have no problem arresting people who think they are actually blowing up these buildings (with fake detonators), as I’ve noted before I believe these deliberate FBI entrapment operations are a way for Famous But Incompetent to stay away from actually infiltrating the general Islamic communities (who mostly support terrorism and won’t condemn HAMAS, Hezbollah, etc.), while pretending to keep us safe (when they are not).”

Skunky on October 19, 2012 at 6:38 pm

Skunky, such operations, when legitimately done, create deterrence through fear. If an islamic maniac cannot be sure whether a terror cell is for real or not, or just, they just might decide not to act upon their feeling. The trouble with the FBI and other law endorcement agencies is that these little stings rarely catch any bigger fish.

As Debbie has noted, these activities are very close to being nothing more than busy work in terms of their ultimate vallue. The object when going after terror groups is the is to dismantle and organization, and not merely swat at flies who are inconsequential.

If he was on an F1 visa, he could only have worked legally on-campus of the college he was at – either a scholarship/assistantship or on on-campus employers, like their cafetarias, computer centers, et al.

If they just shut off all immigration from Muslim countries, that would solve a huge portion of the Jihad problem. The remaining solution would come from deporting all Muslims already here in the US.

Infidel on October 20, 2012 at 9:39 am

Amen Norman. The solution is called ‘effective immigration law enforcement’. One can see these things coming 1,000 miles away.
