CNN’s Erin Burnett, Author Mitch Albom Blame Embassy Attacks on “Judaism, Christianity” – VIDEO (& Albom Whitewashes Hezbollah, HAMAS)

By Debbie Schlussel

On Thursday, CNN airhead Erin Burnett interviewed author Mitch Albom, who is now pimping his sappy, treacly new book, “The Time Keeper.” On the show, Burnett openly blamed “Judaism, Christianity” for the universally-MUSLIM attacks on and violence against U.S. Embassies around the world. And Albom, a typical liberal whitewasher of Islam, agreed with her, saying nothing in response to correct her (and he spent the last week whitewashing extremist Muslims who openly support Hezbollah and HAMAS as “peaceful”–more on that later in this post). Watch the disgusting exchange, starting at 3:48 into the video of Burnett’s “Valley Girl”-style interview (with apologies to Moon Unit Zappa and the other Valley Girls who definitely have higher IQs). And, if you watch the whole interview, note that Burnett, who here tries to appear deep and against materialism, is among the most materialistic women alive. Albom proudly posted this ridiculous exchange on his website, too. Clearly, he believes Judaism and Christianity are just as much to blame for the Muslim violence around the world last week (and every week).

Mitch Albom, Erin Burnett Blame Judaism, Christianity for U.S. Embassy Attacks Committed by Muslims

Burnett: Um, you write about spiritual things but not from a religious perspective and you’ve described yourself as secular. Um, but the last few days we’ve seen all the deaths and the attacks have been thanks to, well, frankly, religion.

Albom: Yeah.

Burnett: Um, you know, Islam, Judaism, Christianity. How does your book apply to people whose most important fight is for religion? Killing for it, dying for it. Unnecessarily.

HUH? Name one Jewish or Christian attack in the last week-and-a-half that has anything to do with Judaism or Christianity. The attacks on U.S. Embassies around the world were committed by one religious group and one religious group only: MUSLIMS. But, hey, don’t let facts get in the way of their narrative that Islam is good and that the rest of us are morally equivalent to Islamic terrorists. This is not about religion. It’s about one particular religion. It’s about Islam, stupid.

Of course, instead of giving a reality check and pointing that out, the self-important, self-appointed secular New Age religion and morality guru Albom, instead, goes along with this moral equivalency BS–as if Jews and Christians are anything like the MUSLIMS who murdered four U.S. Embassy officials in Libya, last week, and engaged in violence at U.S. Embassies throughout the world–and gives a well-fertilized answer about how all religions are about love and that those engaged in violence are not about religion, they’re about hate. Um, welcome to Islam, schmuck.

And Albom went out of his way in other media venues to pimp us on the phony idea that Muslims who openly support Hezbollah and HAMAS–both of which, especially Hezbollah, have murdered far more Americans than any of the Muslim groups attacking our U.S. Embassies over the past week– are “peaceful Muslims.” On Friday, Albom had Victor Begg, spokesman for the Michigan Muslim Community Council (a name they stole from the equally pro-Muslim Jewish Community Council), which used to be called the “Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan,” on his Detroit radio show on ABC Radio’s WJR-AM. He repeatedly gushed over Begg as a “peaceful Muslim who condemns violence.” But Begg openly supports Hezbollah and HAMAS, as does his Muslim organization, several prominent members of which have given pro-HAMAS and pro-Hezbollah sermons and have written openly anti-Semitic newspaper columns in support of those terrorist groups. And unindicted HAMAS terrorism co-conspirator CAIR is a part of the organization. Begg has refused to condemn either terrorist group when I’ve personally asked him if he will. And Albom knew about Begg’s support of Hezbollah. I called the hotline number to his studio as Albom was conducting his excessively drooling interview of Begg and spoke to Albom’s producer and right-hand man, “Rosey” Rosenthal.

Mitch Albom Whitewashes Extremist Muslim, Hezbollah/HAMAS Supporter Victor Begg

Victor Begg (Far Left) w/ Extremist Michigan Muslim Council Members Mustapha “Steve” Elturk, Mohammed Ali Elahi, & HAMASCAIR’s Dawud Walid a/k/a Delano Anthony Willis, Jr.. Elahi was Ayatollah Khomeini’s Naval Imam in Iran and an Agent of the Iranian Govt. All of Them Openly Support HAMAS and Hezbollah.

Me: “Rosey, why is Mitch presenting this proud Hezbollah and HAMAS supporter, Victor Begg, as ‘against violence,’ when Hezbollah killed hundreds more Americans than those who attacked our embassies, this week?”

Rosey: “I have no idea. I didn’t know that. I don’t even know who this Begg guy is. I didn’t book him.”

Me: “Well, ask Mitch to ask him if he’ll condemn Hezbollah and HAMAS and their violence. He won’t. I know because I’ve asked him to, and he refuses. His organization supports those terrorist groups and is anti-Semitic.”

Rosey: “That’s a great question. I’ll tell Mitch to ask him that, right now.”

And, of course, Albom went on for another five to ten minutes just gushing over this Muslim who supports violence. He refused to ask the question. And Rosey pawned off my call after the interview to another Albom employee.

Then, in Albom’s nationally syndicated Sunday column about last week’s violence against our embassies, Albom did it again. He again presented extremist Muslim Victor Begg, an open supporter of Hezbollah and HAMAS, as a moderate.

“There is no justification for such violence,” said Victor Begg, senior adviser to the Michigan Muslim Community Council. “Our message is no to violence and no to extremism.”

Really, Victor and Mitch? Then, why do you keep justifying Hezbollah and HAMAS violence and extremism, and whitewashing the majority of Muslims who support and justify their violence and murder of innocent people, including over 300 U.S. Embassy officials and U.S. Marines while they were sleeping in barracks?

Huh?

And, why do you, Mitch Albom, go along with CNN’s Erin Burnett in scapegoating Judaism and Christianity for U.S. Embassy attacks and murders that were clearly pre-planned and perpetrated by MUSLIMS and Muslims only?

Crickets chirping.

These cowards–Albom and Burnett–won’t ever answer these questions. Because they know better.

And, yet, they utter this bullcrap, anyway, in the name of political correctness to Islam.

Agreed with everything you said Debbie, and I would like to welcome myself back to this blog, the reason why I didn’t comment on this blog for the last week and a half was because my computer was being checked on and improved.

Anyway, back to the article, I’m really not surprised that Erin Burnett semi scapegoated christianity and judiasim about the US embassy attacks a week ago in the muslim world my “muslims”! The attacks a week ago has NOTHING to do with christianity, judisaim, hinduism, buddhisim, atheistism, agonosticism, theistism, etc. but “ISLAM”! And as for this Victor Begg prick, he’s being a typical muslim by supporting islamic-jihadisim, and since he supports hamas and hezbollah, he should be investigated by the FBI and/or CIA and be deported out of this country. Since he supports hamas and hezbollah, he can live in either the West Bank, Gaza or Lebanon and support those islamic-fundamentalist whackjobs who wraps themselves up in religion all the friggin time!

As long as political correctness rules the land, no one is going to utter the truth about pisslam (except DS, of course).

No politician, no talk show host, not the MSM. No one. This PC culture is going to have to be shocked into facing the truth. And until the MSM reports the truth you are just spitting into the wind.

How can equate Judaism and Christianity with what is going on now in the Middle East??? Those were some absolutely ridiculous statements on the part of these two! And I was a fan of both. But now, both Mitch Albom and Erin Burnett need to go sit down somewhere….

Tribalism not religion is the great motivator in the Muslim world. Very few risk their lives to defend the words of Muhammad, but all are ready to die in defense of their tribe. The most devout Imam would rather burn his Koran and Mosque rather than give shelter to an enemy tribe.

supporting islam is like supporting the murder, and blaiming the victim. islam is a religious fraud, and hoax perpetrated by the gogs and magogs of baal hamolech, G-D even hates more than hasatan. like most religions of today, they are the religions of liars and idolitors. and more lies, shall never correct the lies of liars.

G-D’S judgement is not based on, what religion you are. it is solely based on how true we are to HIM, here in TheTorah actually happening again. it is now again the very same story, as last time where G-D has Adam put to death. and returned as the two wittnesses adam and his mate.

you shall never have any peace, in this world that denies TheTruth of G-D, is here in TheTorah from HIM. all who deny, G-D here in TheTorah again, shall never see GanEden or any peace on earth. pestilence plague and famine, are signs of disloyalty to G-D. all the troubles on this planet, are tied to disbelief of G-D here in TheStory of Creation again.

and if you try to tell the truth, residing in any muslem country. they will try to kill you, because they call the liar muhammed the truth. as long as this world, rejects G-D, here in TheTorah. it shall happen as as, from the beguinning in Parashas Noach, to the end days with adam and his mate without change. because TheG-D of, Only TheTorah is not the liar. and G-D told us all how dangerous it really is to be a liar for other g-ds. including that same old devil again, that has again decieved this whole worlds grandmother. the whole world has been helping the more subtle than any other beast again, decieve their grandmother. and we only have ourselves to blame for this. and G-D is giving this whole world all hell for it.

herbster on September 18, 2012 at 4:19 pm

don’t any one tell me, G-D is not angry at this whole world. by helping that same old devil, to decieve their grandmother. here in the exact, same old story again. i can tell it in all oof the pestilence, plague and famine sent.

you would rather give you neighbor with cancer, war, or massacres rather than admit to the truth of G-D, here in TheStory of Creation all over again. in this world making all the same old origional mistakes, and expecting different results as if not from G-D. the origional lie, is to believe that same old pretend your not here in TheTorah devil, and not believe TheG-D here in TheStory of Creation. with all of you and your grandmother, resurrected from the dead for the second time. and given another merciful chance to be true to G-D, to be in GanEden here in only TheTorah in TheHappening.

jimmie c boswell on September 18, 2012 at 3:17 pm

i am tired, of being returned for now more than three million times. in always the same story from, TheBoth of The ONE G-D. as Their Son adam, only to find the whole world and their grandmother betraying me. because they feel like believing in mr lizard lips rather than G-D.

now as i wait, to find out. find out if this is a triology or anthology. i am left with little choice, but to be unleased with TheHisTruth of G-D.

this whole world was not expecting, their grandfather and grandmother again. because not one person on earth today, really believes in My ONLY TRUE PARENTS. born again of a surrogate, mother here on earth and betrayed by all.

in this world that can’t even get my or their grandmother’s name or title chaooah right. that only pretends, with their saying the love Us.

Burnett and Albom, two pimps in a pod. Burnett has the IQ of a turnip and Albom – I’ll be generous here – is just repulsive. CNN wonders why it’s ratings are in the toilet? Let me answer that. Blitzer Burnett, Candybar Crawley, Little Anderson Snooper, Don “The twofer” Lemon (Black AND homosexual.) Soledad “Prison break” O’Brien, Gloria “Facelift” Borger, Al Velshi, The pondscum, anti-semite, pro-palestinian creature, Amanpour, etc. the list could go on, but, I must mention my all time favorite, the “Economic reporter,” Poppy Harlow. She is the genius who, on a “Financial” program a while back that discussed home ownership, mortgages, etc., and “Adgustable mortgages” were brought into the conversation. Poppy the genius had to ask, and I quote, “What does “Adjustable” mean?” I rest my case. CNN is so far in the toilet that the executives hope and pray each day that nobody flushes. By the way, the next time I saw Poppy the nincompoop, she was interviewing people at the O.W.S. demonstration at Zucotti Park. ……probably asking their opinins on variable annuities vs. the laddering of tech stocks.

When it comes to Islam, normally intelligent persons desert reason and and refuse to use their brains about it.

They’re as much as enslaved by this cult as Muslims are. I suspect its more fear than politically correct trendiness that keeps compelling them to butt-kiss savages. Its the only ideology off limits to criticism.

And watch intellectuals like Mitch Albom give up their right to question and criticize an evil cult that’s killed tens of thousands. Then again, all that every one knows is Islam is the Religion Of Peace. Anything that contradicts this belief is discarded, explained away or overlooked.

Albom is very good at taqiyyah. He would be a better Muslim than he would be a leftist and he would fit right in. I mean if he has so much admiration for them in carrying their cross, it stands to figure he should set an example for the rest of us. So his fertilizer BS can be at one with his identification with the most evil and retrograde philosophy of our age.

I can tell that everyone is going to have one heck of a field day with this interview of equals.

For chowching: CHA-CHING! The problem with Islam is the people who run it. To them, this is still the Middle Ages, so there is still faint hope that in 700 years, they would develop the same type of thick-skinned tolerance possessed by X-tians and Jews. For now, it’s the Religion of Kill Whitey.

For little jimmie boswell: God may have created the universe, but Man still wrote the book about it. Mohammed may have moved a mountain, but Man made sure that everyone got the memo.

For all the things God allegedly has done, it was Man who delivered.

So let’s give credit and blame to Man who took it upon Himself to do God’s work.

I don’t believe in ghosts.

The Reverend Jacques on September 18, 2012 at 5:15 pm

“For chowching: CHA-CHING! The problem with Islam is the people who run it.”

Rev, you can’t really believe that! The problem with Islam is its doctrine. It will naturally make its followers morally worse. Certain ideologies really are bad news.

I think you just saw red because of a sudden influx of bible thumpers.

      @Gay Obama,

I KNOW, right? Everyone should get behind a RATIONAL philosophy like your AIDS-infested hero Baruch Goldstein. And then shoot like 30 random people in the backs, according to you.

Statusmonkey on September 19, 2012 at 12:18 am

      Right back @ skzion:

I’ve no problem with X-tian bible thumpers – at least I can still walk out with my head still attached to the body.

We know that the Old and New Testaments contain acts of and calls for aggression. (Plus X-tianity is/was a Roman construct). But the handlers and followers have matured, since you cannot enlighten a decapitated person, let alone make one think.

As for Islam, here’s an analogy – if I were to hold the Qur’an, rant and rave like a madman in front of a bunch of illiterate peasants, I’d be a Messiah. (You could do the same thing with the Pentateuch, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Lord of the Rings, 50 Shades of Gray, The Joy of Sex, the latest edition of Blueboy – it’s all in the personality and delivery, baby.)

It would be just easy to let the Muslims know that neither Mohammed and Allah ever existed, that they were created as bogeymen to keep them in line. But remember, to them we’re in the Middle Ages, and their overlords would not want to let their sheeple to think otherwise.

Off-topic (yet still somewhat relevant) – How do you change a wolf into a sheep?

Tell it that the latest iPhone is coming out.

The Reverend Jacques on September 19, 2012 at 1:16 am

Rev, Islam is closed to substantial revision; Judaism and Christianity have never been. This is one key doctrinal difference that you can’t pretend is irrelevant.

I’ll go further. So far as we know, Judaism never had a Dark Ages. Christendom did, lasting several hundred years. Islam has always been Dark Age. The only apparent deviation occurred when more advanced cultures were subdued. Do you really think that such systematic differences can be explained by idiosyncratic factors such as individuals?

There is nothing in Jewish or Christian doctrine that requires your dhimmitude, slavery, conversion, or death. Islamic doctrine is different .

skzion on September 20, 2012 at 3:45 am

          Right back @ skzion:

Do you really think that such systematic differences can be explained by idiosyncratic factors such as individuals?

Ask any atheist or agnostic this kind of question and you’d probably get the same answer, usually in the affirmative.

I believe that organized religion is a great unifier of people, but it’s useless without a committed group of individuals who bear intimate knowledge of doctrine and ritual. Just like running a restaurant or putting on a play, it’s all about the presentation and the dedication to the craft.

As much as I don’t care about the concept of organized faith, I can say that Islam never hides the fact that it is a man-made religion that explicitly favours one group of people over the rest – there is hardly any favourable mention of all the other races that are present in the Old/New Testaments. Thus you get stupid, pointless protests against a poorly-made flick like “Plan 9 from Mecca”, aka, “The Innocence of Muslims”.

We can debate this until the cows come home, but at least I know that if organized Islam were to get its way, I would fight to the death to save my neck, since Allah doesn’t like atheists and agnostics. And being an agnostic with Jewish blood from my father (z”l) wouldn’t make my situation any better.

Cheers. Have a good one for me.

The Reverend Jacques on September 20, 2012 at 2:39 pm

          The Rev sez:

“Ask any atheist or agnostic this kind of question and you’d probably get the same answer, usually in the affirmative [that systematic differences can be explained by idiosyncratic factors such as individuals].”

If the atheist or agnostic has a background in statistics, he surely would not agree with you.

“I believe that organized religion is a great unifier of people, but it’s useless without a committed group of individuals who bear intimate knowledge of doctrine and ritual.”

But Rev, that’s the not the point. Of course any organized religion requires a committed group of individuals–indeed, I’d say that’s a tautology. The issue, though, is what kind of doctrine and ritual they are committed to.

“As much as I don’t care about the concept of organized faith, I can say that Islam never hides the fact that it is a man-made religion…”

          HUH?!?

“We can debate this until the cows come home, but at least I know that if organized Islam were to get its way…”

Tell me, could there ever even Islam that was not “organized”? The doctrine is mainly ABOUT organization goals.

“since Allah doesn’t like atheists and agnostics.”

          I’ll say.

At least nowadays you acknowledge the difference between the “organized believers” of different religions. Eventually, perhaps you will acknowledge that doctrines affect the believers, who then affect you. I am no apologist for any religion. Really. However, the variation in behavior of different groups of religious can not be explained by a fixed human nature! Consider the following equation:

          Savagery = a + b_1(average intolerance of believer) + b_2(Islamic doctrine) + b_3(Xtia doctrine) + b_4(Jewish doctrine) + b_5(Hindu doctrine) + … + b_k(form of government) + b_k+1(organizational structure of religion) + b_k+2(wealth) … + e_i

Now, you seem to assert with great confidence that b_2=b_3=b_4=b_5. You also seem to consider (average intolerance of believers) to be unrelated to (doctrine) or to (form of government). If you didn’t believe this, we’d need a more complicated system of equations.

          So there.

OT: Maybe it maybe it isn’t but I think its related. The media eats up Albom’s dumb comments about Islam but considers its a “gaffe” for Mitt Happens to say the Palestinian Arabs are committed to Israel’s destruction.

Here’s more to it: the same media that wouldn’t release the video tape of Obama’s meeting with Rashid Khalidi was quick to publish a secret videotape of Romney’s meeting with donors and supporters. I guess we know what was said there but after all these years we still don’t know what Obama told Khalidi. I mean the LAT still sits on that video copy.

Republicans are fair game and its an election year after all. And since Islam is politically correct, the media should have nothing to fear in releasing the Obama tape. Good luck with that ever happening! We claim to thrive on the free exchange of ideas but we really don’t.

The stupid, incurious and cowardly get ahead in this life.

Nutshell version – Islam is “Submission” their is no love in submission, nor is it taught in its practice. Failure to submit is acted upon with hate and violence for the fanatics and violent tolerances for the mainstream followers. When Christanity had the KKK to deal with, it ultimately was exposed and shunned and destroyed by the masses, this will NEVER happen with Islam as adhearances and submission come before any thought of aiding those victimized or who are non-believers. As such Muslims and Islamist are at direct as well as passive war with the West (Christanity and Jewdism).

Responder on September 18, 2012 at 5:45 pm

Skunky, will the 47% Mitt Happens says won’t vote for him hit the exits if he wins?

Islam is not big on spiritual enlightenment. And an Egyptian cleric issued a fatwa that said Muslims are obligated to kill the director, producer, actors and any one who helped to make that now infamous YouTube video trailer.

As you can see Islam is the religion of brotherhood and tolerance alright! Let Albom try to wrap those words around his head. Because people don’t appreciate my sarcasm. That’s our fave religion – you know… dead infidels are fair game for them year in and year out.

And when that happens, expect the Alboms of the world, as surely as night follows day, to blame the victim. Cuz three year olds with a bad temper tantrum are not expected to know better. Neither are the idiots who defend them!

Its like with Newt Gingrich’s comments about the Palestinians bein a “non-existent” people. Both of those facts are true. Why they are considered gaffes says more about the people putting such a judgment forward than it does about the people saying them in the first place.

Like I already said – yeah this video is now out there and the mass media is in the bag for Obama. They won’t criticize him. It is me is or is Kardashian mindlessness now our defacto national standard?

With everything Obama has going for him – he should be able to put this race away. The fact the media needed to reveal this meeting is an indication they don’t think they can afford to relax.

When the truth is political football, you know the country is in trouble.

I used to watch CNBC, but Erin Burnett forced me away and I’ve never gone back. CNBC had a disturbing tendency to put eye candy (Burnett, Bartiromo, Quick) or leftist apologists (Ratigan, Liesman, Pisani, and Harwood) out there. Burnett, however, was the worst. Singularly stupid, reflexively leftist, an inarticulate finance know-nothing, she was unwatchable.

The quality and/or conservative personalities, such as Kernen, Caruso-Cabrera, and Santelli, had reduced roles.

They had a true superstar on the rise in Jeff Macke, but they let him go.

“Herbster” has CNN pretty much summed up (although I suppose one could add to the list that disgustingly over-rated plagarist, Fareed Zacharia.)Speaking of Erin Burnett — I recall catching the last few moments of one of her programs — she was in a Mali refugee camp. this was broadcast on July 24, 2012. Near the close of her program (oh, and btw, she was saying how Mali was infested with al-Qaeda types who’d get money via kidnapping and drug trafficking), she off-handedly mentioned one little thing she found “disturbing” (“There was one thing, though, that was disturning.”) She noticed that the “children” (which is b.s., the one psychopath looked to be at least 14 or 15 years of age — this was no “child”) had the disturbing habit of catching small birds, and breaking their wings (the teenage, Islamic psycho on camera grinned and displayed a dying little bird, dangling it by what appeared to be a fishing line); Burnett stated: “they play with the birds, sort of like a cat and mouse, flinging them around to each other as the bird gets weaker and weaker.” (from the CNN transcript). Then, Burnett, the bimbo appeaser of Islam, said, “…a local who came with us told them to stop, to stop torturing the birds.” Did this deter the psychos? Of course not! Why, this is Islam! “They said, we’re only going to stop if you give us soccer balls.” The CNN apologist for the savagery and barbaric cruelty of Islam then said, “it’s an awful image that they did, but it made us think, we’re going to give them soccer balls.” Yeah, way to go, pond scum. Reward teenagers who willfully torture little birds. That’s yet another example of the moral depravity of CNN.

Happy 5773 Debbie. May you be inscribed in the Book of Life. I’m irritated that all the newscasters keep saying “The prophet Mohammed.” And all the commentators that were describing the abuse of free speech were annoying too. Anyway I couldn’t help but notice you wheeled out the word treacly here. Is that because you read it in the NYT editorial of August 30 and looked it up like me? Also I’m selecting seats for my new whip. Please send me a 3D relief model of your tush.

Oh good grief! I thought we’d seen the last of that pervert A1.

A1, your mommy is sorry for touching you throughout your childhood. Get some therapy already.

Debbie,

The US has been at war with Iran since 1979,when our embassy(US soil) was stormed and hostages taken by Iranian “students”,who then handed the hostages over to the Iranian gov’t,which was an act of WAR.

What the hell are we doing giving a visa to one of Ayatollah Khomeini’s henchmen, and then giving the evil scumbag citizenship!!!

Who authorized it?

S: I’ve raised that question before on this site, and it’s clearly the reason I pointed out that he worked for Khomeini. DS

I hated Albom when I was in Detroit years ago and always regarded him as a small-town-paper, overrated hack. I can’t believe that he’s gotten national attention. And his treacly, disingenuous, kid-gloves, p.c. views about muslims is no surprise.

I guess it’s true that no one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.

Drones will soon replace the sky god Allah as a punisher. The Kafir will be turned into ashes after the drone fires its lightning bolts. Prisons will be empty and Mosques full of servants of Muhammad. The Imam will be busy firing missiles at infidels who have escaped punishment.

Debbie: “Rosey, why is Mitch presenting this proud Hezbollah and HAMAS supporter, Victor Begg, as ‘against violence,’ when Hezbollah killed hundreds more Americans than those who attacked our embassies, this week?”

Debbie

You don’t know the answer on this one? Albom would probably, had he gotten your question, told you that Begg supports the social services that HAMAS and Hezbollah do in Gaza and Lebanon. That would have been the ticket out of this one – just as it is for everyone who’s asked about this.

Infidel on September 18, 2012 at 11:52 pm

    Infidel,

I just e-mailed Debbie about the White House’s call for Sharia over French satirical cartoons about ol’ Mo.

The mainstream media isn’t running them. Cuz who must not be named must not be “offended.”

Hell to freedom of speech. The Sharia is mightier than the pen. And we keep apologizing like there’s no tomorrow for our freedoms.

    Go figure.

Those squinty eyes mask the mind of a dullard. One who is convinced she is actually normally informed.

It is more than absurd that these Hamas/Hezbollah supporters get a free pass time and again. Frankly, thesze groups have caused more mayhem and death than al-Qaida has managed over the years. An interview wish such a person would be of no value, since you woulc never get a straight answer out of them,on Israel of jihad in general.

As for Erin Burnett, she is a refugee from CNBC. She was such a lightweight at that business oriented network, that evetually her contract was not renewed. That is why she is at CNN. I find her no better than Campbell Brown was. Erin Burnett is just as vapid as her predecessor.

The truth is that the news business starting going downhill when women took over. From local newscasts to the networks to cable, women dominate. And that’s just the FACE of journalism. What we don’t see is the producers, directors, editors, etc. Women in media, typically LEFT of George Soros, and their required pretty faces have destroyed the profession of journalism. The feminization of the news can be seen 24/7. It’s a disturbing trend that has shown no signs of slowing down. Valley Girl journalism is killing the country. Oh, I have to turn on the TV and see if they have any update on the nude photos of Kate What’s-Her-Name, bye, bye.

JeffT on September 19, 2012 at 11:20 am

Female anchors are hired for their looks – not for their journalistic skills.

You have to be telegenic to stand a chance on TV. Pity the plain or ugly women who will never get exposure in front of the camera.

Then again that’s human nature and in that respect, its not news, its really infotainment.

That sunday sports reporters show on ESPN – Albom and Lupica 2 Obama @ss kissing leftists as well as being experts in their own minds on sports DESPITE being 2 wimps who never played sports. Albom is now an expert on how we in the west are living our lives not looking at the big picture BUT it is he himself who has these well-paying sports newspaper and TVjobs but he still needs to write books and go on TV pushing it to chase after more money for himself. Hypocrite leftist airhead.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam, all pretty much the same, all about love, are they not? So good to have these sensitive and insightfully well-informed people explain it all.

thanks DS. Few would have heard this for the slur it is.

bobguzzardi on September 19, 2012 at 2:31 pm

I can’t believe my ears…hell, I can’t believe Mitch Albom’s ears..morons.

Larry Durham on September 19, 2012 at 4:49 pm

Well, for once you didn’t excuse Mitch!! Progress!! What took so long? (Oh yeah, he USED TO have you on his show sometimes). Hypocrite Mitch used his show to rail on faux NYTimes reporter Jayson Blair for the phony stories he wrote. Then moralist Mitch got caught doing the same thing–inventing facts on his fake meeting at the NCAA finals that he never attended with Magic Johnson and Mateen Cleeves…and after a short suspension from the Free Press, he went back to it–business as usual. Mitch’s tired dumb act on WJR with token minstrel Kenny, who always can be counted on to agree in the most ignorant fashion with everything Mitch says, is a despised by everyone I know.

Western embassies in Islamic nations should have helicopters on the roof; it will give ambassadors and their staff a chance to flee for safety. Free speech embassies will soon be doing business only through websites; Muslim mobs will have no recourse but to send hate email when Muhammad is disrespected.

Mitch Albom is a moron and his books should be burned to keep people warm in the coldest days ahead.
