CNN’s Erin Burnett, Author Mitch Albom Blame Embassy Attacks on “Judaism, Christianity” – VIDEO (& Albom Whitewashes Hezbollah, HAMAS)
On Thursday, CNN airhead Erin Burnett interviewed author Mitch Albom, who is now pimping his sappy, treacly new book, “The Time Keeper.” On the show, Burnett openly blamed “Judaism, Christianity” for the universally-MUSLIM attacks on and violence against U.S. Embassies around the world. And Albom, a typical liberal whitewasher of Islam, agreed with her, saying nothing in response to correct her (and he spent the last week whitewashing extremist Muslims who openly support Hezbollah and HAMAS as “peaceful”–more on that later in this post). Watch the disgusting exchange, starting at 3:48 into the video of Burnett’s “Valley Girl”-style interview (with apologies to Moon Unit Zappa and the other Valley Girls who definitely have higher IQs). And, if you watch the whole interview, note that Burnett, who here tries to appear deep and against materialism, is among the most materialistic women alive. Albom proudly posted this ridiculous exchange on his website, too. Clearly, he believes Judaism and Christianity are just as much to blame for the Muslim violence around the world last week (and every week).
Mitch Albom, Erin Burnett Blame Judaism, Christianity for U.S. Embassy Attacks Committed by Muslims
Burnett: Um, you write about spiritual things but not from a religious perspective and you’ve described yourself as secular. Um, but the last few days we’ve seen all the deaths and the attacks have been thanks to, well, frankly, religion.
Albom: Yeah.
Burnett: Um, you know, Islam, Judaism, Christianity. How does your book apply to people whose most important fight is for religion? Killing for it, dying for it. Unnecessarily.
HUH? Name one Jewish or Christian attack in the last week-and-a-half that has anything to do with Judaism or Christianity. The attacks on U.S. Embassies around the world were committed by one religious group and one religious group only: MUSLIMS. But, hey, don’t let facts get in the way of their narrative that Islam is good and that the rest of us are morally equivalent to Islamic terrorists. This is not about religion. It’s about one particular religion. It’s about Islam, stupid.
Of course, instead of giving a reality check and pointing that out, the self-important, self-appointed secular New Age religion and morality guru Albom, instead, goes along with this moral equivalency BS–as if Jews and Christians are anything like the MUSLIMS who murdered four U.S. Embassy officials in Libya, last week, and engaged in violence at U.S. Embassies throughout the world–and gives a well-fertilized answer about how all religions are about love and that those engaged in violence are not about religion, they’re about hate. Um, welcome to Islam, schmuck.
And Albom went out of his way in other media venues to pimp us on the phony idea that Muslims who openly support Hezbollah and HAMAS–both of which, especially Hezbollah, have murdered far more Americans than any of the Muslim groups attacking our U.S. Embassies over the past week– are “peaceful Muslims.” On Friday, Albom had Victor Begg, spokesman for the Michigan Muslim Community Council (a name they stole from the equally pro-Muslim Jewish Community Council), which used to be called the “Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan,” on his Detroit radio show on ABC Radio’s WJR-AM. He repeatedly gushed over Begg as a “peaceful Muslim who condemns violence.” But Begg openly supports Hezbollah and HAMAS, as does his Muslim organization, several prominent members of which have given pro-HAMAS and pro-Hezbollah sermons and have written openly anti-Semitic newspaper columns in support of those terrorist groups. And unindicted HAMAS terrorism co-conspirator CAIR is a part of the organization. Begg has refused to condemn either terrorist group when I’ve personally asked him if he will. And Albom knew about Begg’s support of Hezbollah. I called the hotline number to his studio as Albom was conducting his excessively drooling interview of Begg and spoke to Albom’s producer and right-hand man, “Rosey” Rosenthal.
Mitch Albom Whitewashes Extremist Muslim, Hezbollah/HAMAS Supporter Victor Begg
Victor Begg (Far Left) w/ Extremist Michigan Muslim Council Members Mustapha “Steve” Elturk, Mohammed Ali Elahi, & HAMASCAIR’s Dawud Walid a/k/a Delano Anthony Willis, Jr.. Elahi was Ayatollah Khomeini’s Naval Imam in Iran and an Agent of the Iranian Govt. All of Them Openly Support HAMAS and Hezbollah.
Me: “Rosey, why is Mitch presenting this proud Hezbollah and HAMAS supporter, Victor Begg, as ‘against violence,’ when Hezbollah killed hundreds more Americans than those who attacked our embassies, this week?”
Rosey: “I have no idea. I didn’t know that. I don’t even know who this Begg guy is. I didn’t book him.”
Me: “Well, ask Mitch to ask him if he’ll condemn Hezbollah and HAMAS and their violence. He won’t. I know because I’ve asked him to, and he refuses. His organization supports those terrorist groups and is anti-Semitic.”
Rosey: “That’s a great question. I’ll tell Mitch to ask him that, right now.”
And, of course, Albom went on for another five to ten minutes just gushing over this Muslim who supports violence. He refused to ask the question. And Rosey pawned off my call after the interview to another Albom employee.
Then, in Albom’s nationally syndicated Sunday column about last week’s violence against our embassies, Albom did it again. He again presented extremist Muslim Victor Begg, an open supporter of Hezbollah and HAMAS, as a moderate.
“There is no justification for such violence,” said Victor Begg, senior adviser to the Michigan Muslim Community Council. “Our message is no to violence and no to extremism.”
Really, Victor and Mitch? Then, why do you keep justifying Hezbollah and HAMAS violence and extremism, and whitewashing the majority of Muslims who support and justify their violence and murder of innocent people, including over 300 U.S. Embassy officials and U.S. Marines while they were sleeping in barracks?
Huh?
And, why do you, Mitch Albom, go along with CNN’s Erin Burnett in scapegoating Judaism and Christianity for U.S. Embassy attacks and murders that were clearly pre-planned and perpetrated by MUSLIMS and Muslims only?
Crickets chirping.
These cowards–Albom and Burnett–won’t ever answer these questions. Because they know better.
And, yet, they utter this bullcrap, anyway, in the name of political correctness to Islam.

Agreed with everything you said Debbie, and I would like to welcome myself back to this blog, the reason why I didn’t comment on this blog for the last week and a half was because my computer was being checked on and improved.
Anyway, back to the article, I’m really not surprised that Erin Burnett semi scapegoated christianity and judiasim about the US embassy attacks a week ago in the muslim world my “muslims”! The attacks a week ago has NOTHING to do with christianity, judisaim, hinduism, buddhisim, atheistism, agonosticism, theistism, etc. but “ISLAM”! And as for this Victor Begg prick, he’s being a typical muslim by supporting islamic-jihadisim, and since he supports hamas and hezbollah, he should be investigated by the FBI and/or CIA and be deported out of this country. Since he supports hamas and hezbollah, he can live in either the West Bank, Gaza or Lebanon and support those islamic-fundamentalist whackjobs who wraps themselves up in religion all the friggin time!
