Egyptian “Democrats”: Protesters Storm US Embassy, Remove US Flag, Shout Michelle Malkin’s Fave Islam Slogan
So, now, in Egypt, today, we have a Muslim/Christian Arab riot against the U.S. Embassy, which includes a complete melding of some of my most unfavorite things: Obama-Bush promotion of Muslim democracy/Arab Spring BS and Michelle Malkin’s favorite Islamic slogan about how there’s no “god” but allah and that Mohammed is his only prophet. The envious Fraudkin, on her self-masturbatory Twitchy site, attacked me and cheered on violent Muslims who called for my death, rape, and torture on Twitter, for my “crime” of calling out a boy band member for proselytizing Islam and tweeting the same slogan that the Muslims now storming the U.S. Embassy are saying, as they tear down the American flag and replace it with a black one. Remember, Egyptian Muslim Democrats, FOX News’ Michelle Malkin (the right’s own Lara Logan-esque moron) is with you! Oh, and to all the morons who keep siding with Egypt’s anti-American, anti-Semitic Christians, the Christians are part of the riot, in solidarity with Muslims. Let’s hear it for Springtime Arabia!
CAIRO (Reuters) – Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy on Tuesday, tore down the American flag and burned it during a protest over what they said was a film being produced in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammad.
In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words “There is no god but [DS: allah], and Mohammad is his messenger”, a Reuters witness said.
(Don’t worry! Michelle Malkin said that is GREAT!)
Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, some protesters tore it up and showed off pieces to television cameras. Others burned the remains outside the fortress-like embassy building in central Cairo. But some protesters objected to the flag burning.
Many Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet to be offensive.
“This movie must be banned immediately and an apology should be made,” said 19-year-old Ismail Mahmoud, a member of the so-called “ultras” soccer supporters who played a big role in the uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak last year. . . .
About 20 people stood on top of the embassy wall, while about 2,000 protesters gathered outside. The demonstrators were mainly supporters of Islamist groups or “ultras” youths.
Rafik Farouk, 38, an Egyptian Christian, also took part. “I am here because I am Egyptian and reject anything that insults Islam or anything that sparks division in Egypt,” he said. . . .
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland in Washington said the wall was breached and the flag removed.
“We are obviously working with Egyptian security to try to restore order at the embassy and to work with them to try to get the situation under control,” she said.
Hey, so glad that the $1.3 billion in aid the U.S. sends Egypt annually is finally paying off! And by the way, since Michelle Fraudkin thinks the statement about allah being the only “god” and Mohammed his only messenger, is no big thing, drop her into the crowd so she can experience the threats I regularly get from Muslims . . . the threats she praised, defended, whitewashed, and excused. She is no different than they are.

Since I was stationed at the Embassy in Cairo from just before to just after the war in Iraq, I have some questions. First, why did the riot police allow the protesters to get up to and into the embassy compound? The riot police BEFORE this democarcy push wouldn’t have let them get within a block of the place. Second, where were the Marine security guards? The embassy in Cairo has the (or at least ONE OF the) largest Marine detachments in the State Dept. Now, I won’t pretend to know what the stading orders were as far as use of force, but I’d be stunned if this could have happened back then. If there’s a former member of an MSG detachment who can correct me on this one I’d appreciate it.
My personal opinion is, if the current government can’t ensure our ambassador’s safety, then we need to pull the staff….oh, and with them pull the $1.3 bil a year too.
