One also has to wonder how it is that John Conyers has never been brought down for all of his corrupt dealings as well?–and many times documented on this site.
Let’s hope the house cleaning is just getting started in the fair city of Detroit, and throughout government in this land. I highly doubt it.

Yet another politician acting up. Surprise, surprise. Politicians in the news have not been looking too good lately…as if they ever really have. I wonder what it is about elected office that causes some folks to think they’re untouchable? (Prostitutes, trips to Argentina affairs, bribery, soliticing in men’s restrooms, texting your mistress via city-owned Blackberries…the list goes on and on!)
Hmmmmm….Mrs. Conyers looks substantially younger than Rep. Conyers. I guess he went and got himself a young “honey”!

The sad saga of Detroit and SE Michigan continues. My dad (may he rest in peace, at last) saw this coming forty years ago with the racial animosities manifested in the ’67 riots, the ensuing white flight to the ‘burbs, and the unending stream of corrupt and/or incompetent elected officials who have bled the few remaining productive businesses and individuals dry. I don’t live in the area any more, but my heart still bleeds for the families that remain. I can’t say they deserve better, because the voters have enabled this process for two full generations by voting on the basis of race — and specifically, on the basis of who could make the most derogatory statements about Oakland County and promise the most freebies. People, will you please learn from this! And, oh, rest of America, this banana republic style of government is exactly what king hussein is busy establishing in Washington. So, don’t laugh too long at Detroit.

Why is everyone giving the House Judicial Committee Chairman a free pass on this? Why? I’m sick of it.
Conyers was the same a__hole who chanted the “impeach Bush” mantra for anything and everything ever done in our country that was considered wrong by him and other libs for 8 years.
I think it’s time to call a spade a spade–Conyers, you are a shmuck! And your hypocrisy reeks to high heaven. You and your name created this b-tch…. and you deserve all the grief in the world. I hope you get it too.
