Important Rally Monday Against Netanyahu-Obama “Let’s Amputate Israel More” Confab

By Debbie Schlussel
On Monday, Barack Obama “welcomes” Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to the White House to pressure him to further amputate Israel for the purpose of creating a Muslim terrorist state for the Palestinians.
Our friend, the great Carl in Jerusalem, posted a terrific, must-see cartoon on how the land-for-“peace” negotiations should be conducted. Carl also has some good commentary on Netanyahu v. Obama on Iran, which will definitely be part of their Monday discussion.
But if you live in the Washington, DC area or anywhere close, your voice and presence are needed to rally against the pressure. Lori Lowenthal Marcus sends this important notice. If you can, I urge you to attend:

WHEN: Monday, May 18th, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Eastern

Smiling Faces, Sometimes They Don’t Tell the Truth

WHERE: Lafayette Park, across from the White House, Washington, D.C.
WHO: Everyone who cares about America, Israel, and the fight for continued freedom
WHAT: Join me at the May 18th White House Vigil when Israeli PM Netanyahu meets with Pres. Obama.
There is immense worldwide pressure on Netanyahu to acquiesce in the creation of a terrorist Arab Palestinian state on Israel’s borders.
Prime Minister Netanyahu needs to SEE each of us standing in front of the White House. Pres. Obama does too.

Bring signs, American & Israeli Flags, Prayer Books and Shofrim (Ram’s Horns), food and water, and dress weather appropriately.
You needn’t be there for the whole vigil, but you do need to be there.

Again, if you are in the area or can make it there, I urge you to show up. It’s important.

We’ll see if Netanyahu walks the tough talk he talked a little while ago on FOX and few other places.
He’ll have to stand up to Barry O who panders to Israel’s enemies.
IMO: There really aren’t too many politcos in D.C.who genuinely have the interest of Israel at heart.
The other side of this coin: There aren’t too many Arab Leaders who genuinely have the interest of the Palestinians at heart. They are pawns who do the dirty work for the other Arab countries who smile in our face but have other intentions.

I think if Israel has any reliable info on the Iran nuke program, they should tell us what they will do, but not ask for permission

Throughout Jewish history and even today – Jews have been ordered around by others without regard for their welfare – and during Holocaust the consequences of Jewish submissiveness meant the almost certain extinction of the Jewish people. The fact the Jewish people have a sovereign state today hasn’t changed the perception they existed to be acted on only for the benefit of others. Israel is being treated like a colonial outpost told to take what’s on offer, take it or leave it, my way or the highway. Some relationship Israel has like that with the world. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s biggest challenge will be to face down that expectation and deflect world pressure to deliver a suicide note to Washington – which is what agreement to the establishment of a terrorist state in the heartland of the Jewish State would do. Such a state would be ruled by Hamas and mark the end of the Jewish State. Israel’s Prime Minister cannot be expected to lend his hand to a Second Holocaust for the Jewish people and needs our prayers, support and goodwill to stand up to the Obama Administration’s plans. It is critical he sees we are against Israel’s committing suicide and want Israel to stand up for itself like a proud and independent country. Of course, its not always pleasant to say “NO” but sometimes in life on has to avoid a far worse fate. Being further amputated is not a path for Israel to travel down on in the future. We’re counting on you, Mr. Prime Minister, to see that doesn’t happen.
G-d Bless Israel!

I have two comments (actually I have a lot more, but some cannot be stated in polite company and I don’t want to ramble any more than I normally do):
1) “Land for Peace” would be a joke if this wasn’t so serious and if the rest of the West wasn’t going to be next for the Jihadists after Israel. There should be “Peace for Peace”. Israel will let the “palestinians?”, Iranians, etc. live in Peace if they live in Peace with Israel.
2) If Obama threatens Netanyahu (rather, when Obama threatens), Netanyahu should respond to Obama’s face in a way similar to the way Menachem Begin responded to an American diplomat he summoned after Weinberger/Reagan canceled a “Memorandum of Understanding” (I think that is what it was called) between Israel and the United States. Begin loudly proclaimed “The Jewish People lived thousands of years without this, and we will continue to live forever without it.” (Or something like that).

Debbie, thanks for the link to Carl’s site. I put the Dry Bones cartoon on my facebook wall. I got this message (from a Jew):
“Demeaning & belittling our President does no good for Israel or America. How about a little meaningful discourse and respectful exchange of ideas for a change?”
Simply because I don’t feel BO should be forcing Israel to divide its capitol. The world is one messed up place, and BO is going to do his utmost to make it even worse. G-d help us all.

Debbie, traveling to go stay in a hotel isn’t good karma for me, due to the Gideon Society. I wish I could pay for a room and not be subject to harmful propaganda. How do you deal with this scourge, Debbie?

Why would they? They’re Americans remember?!?!?!

Have any of you wingnuts offered a rational, practical plan for peace between Israelis and Palestinians? What are your incentives for the Palestinians to achieve peace?

Norman Blitzer on May 17, 2009 at 9:56 pm

Next time you hear Netanyahu close your eyes. He does a perfect KISS/Gene Vincent voice naturally, and vice-versa.

#1Vato on May 17, 2009 at 10:22 pm

That would be…Gen SIMMONS rather. Voices are virtually identical.

Yes, call me names and expect me to answer you.
Anyone who knows the history of the Middle East understands Israel has tried time and time again to offer up solutions. She has followed and done everything in her power to make peace. and yet, THEY do not want peace. All they want is the death of every single Jew, and for Israel not to be in existence. So how can anyone expect to make peace when only one side is willing?

Leah on May 18, 2009 at 11:11 am

Netanyahu will never agree to this plan anyway, this meeting is purely symbolic for more see here : http://www.newsy.com/videos/israel_u_s_summit_don_t_hold_back/

Hey Norm!
If I’m a wingnut, does that make you a libtard?

SamAdams on May 18, 2009 at 3:24 pm

No. Only conservatives are retarded.

Norman Blitzer on May 18, 2009 at 3:54 pm

Like not building settlements on Palestinian territory?

Norman Blitzer on May 18, 2009 at 3:56 pm

Ok ok, here’s a solution. Fire bomb the Palestinians into cinders. Next, blow the hell out of Iran and take a smoke break.

I’d like to see Ben lean over and whisper, “You ever been in a fight? How about a dispute at a bus stop? See, in my world we call guys like you cowards.”
