I have read about the Bill, but what I have read does not answer what for me is a fundamental question. The Bill would outlaw abortion after the 20th week of pregnancy. In the event that the mother’s life was in danger,would she be permitted to have an abortion after the 20th week?

Debbie when superbitch says she keeps Kosher at home that also means she eats shrimp at Benihana’s. Today I ate at a national traife restaurant chain, which is OK as anything ingest automatically becomes Kosher. Anyway in walks a Hassidic Jew. He wears a traditional one piece black long coat, a big white kuppel and peyos. He was with a woman who seems to be Gentile and a few small kids. He sat there in the restaurant for a good hour. Their waitress had a tight top and big boobs. I think he had a drink. I had an urge to scold him but I didn’t. If he is going to go into treif restaurants he should have regular clothes, lest others think its OK for a Jew to eat at Applebee’s. I thought maybe he was a Baal teshuva with his ex-wife and kids. I had another unlikely meet up with an Orthodox Jew in a remote rural area today, and we chatted. Debbie please call me so we can chuckle over all this.

Uh, I thought that Feminists were all for women’s right to choose. So in other words, if a man tries to force his wife to have an abortion, NOW and NARAL will be on his side? Fantastic.

On the record, I am pro-choice, but w/ a caveat – I do think that husbands of pregnant women should have the right to veto an abortion. Of course, standard exceptions like rape, incest and life of the mother apply.

Actually it is a Rabbinic interpretation of Jewish law that permits abortion to save the life of the mother and not all rabbis or laity agree with it. I don’t. I am not G-d, that I can judge the value of one life over that of another. The argument for runs along the lines that a woman who has other children is needed by them or that it’s better to save one than lose two. However, we have all seen families, including Orthodox Jewish ones, where the children were neglected if not actually abused by a mother who couldn’t cope. Can you say they are better off with her? As for the letting one die to save another, um, no. Medicine is still a large portion art and it will never be 100% science because we have ethical and moral principles forbidding human experimentation, we are individuals, and medicine cannot be practiced by statistics, despite what the modern, godless, humanistic schools are teaching.
There really is NO JEWISH LAW regarding abortion. Every case is to be decided in consultation with the doctors and the couple’s rabbi. I still disagree. There are too many stories of unexplained medical “miracles” and as much as I agree with Debbie about Sarah Palin, I admire her for not aborting Tripp or um, letting Bristol abort him if he is actually her child as some allege.
Giving birth and being a parent are and should be humbling experiences. It should make us tremble even more before an all powerful and all WISE Creator.

Why did she even mention her vagina? So far as I can tell from the clip, the speaker was no more interested in her vagina than he was in her pancreas. Judging from the clip, that poor woman has a serious attitude problem with being female.

What do you think would happen if a male political candidate played Chuck Berry’s recording of “My ding-a-ling” at one of his rallies? Would any of the ‘conservatives’ have the courage to do it? But maybe John Edwards, newly exonerated could do it if he runs again. Or maybe the pro-abortion proponents can get Sandra Flake to visit Michigan to promote abortion.

Of course abortion is murder. But it displays the same disregard for life that is characteristic of the left and their mindless sycophants who don’t know any better, in general. And it’s a short step from abortion to infanticide in general — they never criticize China, and then euthanasia and the death panels.

And these creeps have redefined Judaism to fit their own narcissistic personal objectives. Just like Seders have been redefined as outreach to Muslim enemies and Bar Mitzvahs redefined as training for socialist handouts.

How did the other women become elected officials? They are, each of them, crude, rude, vindictive, malicious, and offensive.

The abortion industry and their supporters have absolutely nothing to do with human rights of women, nor does abortion have anything to do with Reproductive Rights.

Reproductive Rights means the rights related to reproduction, not the right to slaughter an innocent person, the baby.

Elective Abortion is the elective slaughter, killing, of an innocent, new human being, a person who exists because they were reproduced. If they were not already reproduced, they would not be targeted for abortion, or termination.

For women like those in the video clip to be elected to office, there must be many people who are crude, rude, mean spirited, and malevolent, to support such bad behavior, as well as being in support of the willful, hate filled murder of innocent babies via abortion.

The fact that these people choose to make a stink over a bill which would protect women from being victims of coerced abortion, something that many women are forced, meaning, pushed against their will, to suffer the medical rape of their minds and bodies, and the slaughter of their babies, demonstrates how vile, ignorant, anti-woman, and anti-life those vile “elected officials/woman” are, and how disgusting they and their supporters are.

Lady, we don’t care about your vagina. Please don’t flatter yourself and force it on us. You are not that important.

I also think the comment about her vagina was a debating tactic as much as anything else.

Lisa Brown surely knows that many of her more conservative male colleagues were brought up in an environment where they are embarrassed to talk about such things in mixed professional settings. They still have a sense of decorum, and a belief that such crudity is inappropriate in a staid legislative environment.

By ending her speech with comments about her vagina she was deliberately trying to make it difficult for male conservatives to take issue with her. Where would they start? They can’t start talking about her vagina, and the shock value of her comment would still be in the air, and ‘hopefully’ make them so uncomfortable that they either would not speak or would mute their comments.

Admonitions to ‘grow up’ or ‘act like adults’ seem to be the stock in trade of those who have nothing substantive to contribute.

While it is true that children (although this is unfortunately being eroded) don’t generally talk about the sexual aspect of things, this shouldn’t suggest the complete absence of boundaries when adulthood is reached. This would just constitute a pandering to narcissism.

I’m Jewish. It’s obvious that Brown never looked at Orthodox Jewish law on abortion. She’s just a liberal who attends a Conservative synagogue where almost anything goes these days if a rabbi can justify it with clever reasoning. Liberal Jews don’t consult the Bible or the Talmud to see what medical laws were in place several thousand years ago so they know what to ask for when they go to the doctor. They should. It might teach them that Judaism takes into account what we have learned about the physical world. We don’t live in the past. We now know much about human life in the womb which can’t be ignored if we are to remain moral.
