Shukran [Thanks], Obama: New Huge Barack Cigarette Tax is Boon to S-CHIP and . . . Hezbo/HAMAS Terror Finance

By Debbie Schlussel
I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. Federal cigarette taxes are the financing of Islamic terrorist groups from the pockets of America’s working class. That’s why I call it the Cigarette Terrorist Transfer Tax.
We know who smokes in America: largely, the working class and the underclass. We know who uses ciggie taxes to make mega-profits in smuggling schemes: Hezbollah. And HAMAS has lately gotten in on the act, too.
And thanks to Barack Hussein Obama and his new federal cigarette taxes, their frontier in cigarette smuggling prospects just got a whole lot rosier.
Soon after taking office, Obama signed into law a new federal cigarette tax increase to finance the expansion of SCHIP, the giant child health care insurance. The increase goes into effect Wednesday.

With his new tax increase on cigarettes, the per pack tax on cigarettes climbs to $1.01 on Wednesday. The increase, from 39 cents per pack, is the largest federal cigarette tax increase in U.S. history. This makes it really ripe for another set of HAMAS and Hezbollah cigarette smuggling scams. At over $1 per pack to be made–and that’s not including state taxes–that’s a whole lotta Hezbollah profit for a van load of full o’ smuggled smokes.
Now, normally, Hezbollah and HAMAS operatives figure out which state has the highest cigarette taxes, like, say, Michigan. And they figure out which state has the lowest taxes, like, say, North Carolina (which at one time–in the ’90s–had a low cigarette tax). And they rent trucks and vans and drive loads and loads of cigarette cartons from the low-tax state to sell ’em in the high-tax state to collect a profit.
So, you ask, how could they do this with a federal tax, which is nationwide?
Very easily. You see, in the past, Hezbollah partnered with Indian tribes, where they don’t have federal or state or any kind of taxes. And they buy the cartons of cigarettes from the Indian Tribes. In the 1990s and even well after 9/11, Lebanese Muslims connected with Michigan obtained cigarettes from both the Seneca and Cattaraugus Indian Reservations in upstate New York. In the case of the Seneca Tribe, they had the active participation of tribe members, with some of the Seneca women “marrying” the Hezbollah men as common-law wives. The Senecas burned down the smoke house and pretended that the cigarettes the Hezbos smuggled for sale into Michigan, burned down in the smoke house.
They did this before. And they can do it again. And this time, you can thank Barack Obama and S-CHIP. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of Muslims going to visit Indian reservations in the coming months.
The bad habits of America’s working and lower classes financing and expansion of child insurance welfare (of which many Hezbo-loving Muslims in Michigan are taking advantage) . . . and Islamic terrorism.
Alhamdillullah [Praise allah]. What a country.
If you smoke and want to save 62 cents per pack and simultaneously deny Islamic terrorists a funding source, best to stock up now (and try to quit smoking afterward).
America’s national security . . . up in smoke (and cigarette taxes).

I am a smoker that chooses to roll my own and buy tobacco by the pound. (I make my cigarettes with a machine and they look just like Factory Smokes)In the past I was able to make a carton for around $7-$10.00 depending on manufaturer sales and coupons.
Thanks to this bill passing, my favorite Tobacco has increased in price from $12.00lb.to $45.00 a pound on 4-1-2009.
This is so outrageous that Tyranny does not describe this tax.How can the Feds increase a tobacco tax by $33.00 a Pound. This is a fascist partnership between the Feds and Big 4 Tobacco companies that allows them to force people that roll their own to pay what people that buy factory cigs by the carton.
I have been making my own for about 15 years not just because of the cost but there are no chemicals added to roll your own tobacco like Marlboros or Camels that add Ammonia ect to get people hooked quicker.
A $33.00 dollar per pound increase so families that make more than I do(250% of the poverty rate-60K right now) can get free health insurance off the backs of smokers.
We are loosing our Freedoms and Liberty one by one in this country.I do not recognize the country I grew up in anymore.I think I will get into the smuggling business of tobacco just like the founding fathers did over the tea tax.
The feds added this clause to the SCHIP Bill fearing that smuggling was going to increase due to the cost increases they have imposed:
SEC. 703. TREASURY STUDY CONCERNING MAGNITUDE OF TOBACCO SMUGGLING IN THE UNITED STATES.
Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Treasury shall conduct a study concerning the magnitude of tobacco smuggling in the United States and submit to Congress recommendations for the most effective steps to reduce tobacco smuggling. Such study shall also include a review of the loss of Federal tax receipts due to illicit tobacco trade in the United States and the role of imported tobacco products in the illicit tobacco trade in the United States.
I am just about ready to join a militia and start marching on Washington DC too.
[SD: INTERESTING THAT THEY NEED A STUDY FOR SOMETHING WE ALREADY KNOW (PAR FOR THE COURSE FOR THE U.S. GOVT.). IF THEY WANT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS OF STOPPING SMUGGLING OF CIGARETTES, MY FAVORITE IS: DON’T TAX IT. DS]

hamas will be ruining my business i have been doing this years and debbie north carolina does not have a low rate its south carolina, virgina and kentucky or you can go to any indian reservation in the united states for your marlboro red
[PNAM: AT THE TIME THEY WERE DOING THIS FROM N. CAROLINA (IN THE ’90S), THE HEZBO PEOPLE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A LOW CIG TAX RATE IN N. CAROLINA. IT’S GONE UP A GOOD DEAL SINCE THEN. DS]

I heard that Obama’s buddy Duval Patrick (Gov of Massachusetts) raised their local cigarette taxes by a dollar a pack there. That’s really gonna bite people hard whent he Obama tax “enhances” that state tax. I wonder just how much (or if) His Royal Obamaness is paying for HIS marlboro habit under the new guidelines..
I’m nto a smoker, dont’ condone it, but this kind of tax increase is reprehensible.. Didn’t Americans (dressed as indians no less) board a ship in Boston Harbor in 1775 to dispose of an overly and outrageously taxed commodity by tossingit overbaord ?

As A follow up, the $12.00 American Tobacco I used to buy has already been taxed to the hilt. In the last 4 years it has increased by about $1.50 a pound every year with state and federal tax. Rolling Tobacco has to be highest taxed item in the history of the USA.This country was founded on the sale of tobacco, read your US History. There would be no America without tobacco sales to Europe in the 1600-1700’s.It was the number one export crop in the USA for 150 years.By 1700, America exported 36 million pounds of tobacco a year to Europe.
I do not love my country anymore, I hate the bastards in our Government and I am a veteran and retired Law Enforcement.I feel the same as the founding fathers felt about England back in the 1700’s except his name is King Barry Soetoro aka Obama.
I for one am hoping Americans finally wake up and start a revolution to throw the corrupt criminals in Wash DC in Prison for Treason. They no longer represent the people but the Rockefeller Elite One World Government crowd.
It is not just tobacco taxes people! They are systematically destroying private enterprise in this country one at a time. When it is your business you will not be laughing.
BTW-Wait till Rush Limbaugh sees how much they are going increase Cigar Taxes on Wednesday.
Here is the SCHIP Tobacco provisions for those of you that are interested:

I am not a smoker but I donít agree with this tax. Isnít the risk of cancer enough of a punishment? Anyway, I saw this video today that shows how various news outlets are reporting the story. Itís interesting to see the difference in perspectives:
