Memo to “View” Hags et al: Sorry About Natasha Richardson, But Tell the Truth About the Redgraves, Esp. Islamic Terrorist Gun-Moll Vanessa

By Debbie Schlussel
**** Update/FLASHBACK: Read my work on how Vanessa Redgrave posted bail for an Al-Qaeda terrorist, whose family founded the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, posted bail for two Gitmo terrorists, and read Gitmo detainees’ poems at a performance. **** SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE UPDATES ****
Today, on ABC’s ignoramus hag-fest, “The View,” the ugly chicks discussed the brain-dead status of actress Natasha Richardson. While I don’t wish that on anyone, these ignorant dogs went overboard. Joy Behar said, “The Redgraves are such good people. They never bothered anyone. They just mind their own business.”
Oh, really? Perhaps, this aging dumbass forgot the 1977 Academy Awards acceptance speech by Richardson’s mother, Vanessa Redgrave, about “Zionist hoodlums.” My favorite part of this video is writer (and World War II Purple Heart awardee) Paddy Chayefsky’s total smackdown of Ms. Redgrave–who didn’t ever mind her own business and actually made a career of supporting the P.L.O., Al-Qaeda, and all variety of Islamic terrorists against Israel and America. Chayefsky’s message was sadly lost on future Oscar winners, and it needs to be required viewing for all of them. It’s a must watch:

Listen to the applause Chayefsky got from the Hollywood audience and the boos that Nazi-ette Brit Redgrave got. Those were the days. Today, he’d be the one booed, and Redgrave would be cheered by the Hollywood Oscar crowd.
Of course, the dumb hags of “The View” are so stupid, so dumb, so ignorant, so completely clueless–and that includes the utterly vacant Elisabeth Hasselbeck–that they agreed with Behar’s ignorant and incorrect statement about the Redgraves never bothering anyone and minding their own business.
I am sorry Ms. Richardson is basically dead. If only her mother was the one who had the skiing accident in her stead forty years ago.
But, then again, anyone who sits in Vanessa Redgrave’s perch in favor of Islamic terrorism, is basically brain dead without the skiing accident precipitating it. And definitely humanly and morally dead.
**** UPDATE: I wrote this pretty quickly before I left for a movie screening. On the way, I remembered that I wrote about Vanessa Redgrave’s work on behalf of hardened Al-Qaeda terrorists and Gitmo detainees. She even posted bond for one of them.
I also realized I should point out that the great Paddy Chayefsky–who gave Redgrave, as my father would say, a real verbal “zetz”–was a proud American Jew, who enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served in World War II, earning a Purple Heart. Contrast that with the vile Vanessa Redgrave who “minded her own business and . . . never bothered anybody” (according to Joy Behar) in her lifelong avocation of helping Islamic terrorists beat the West.
One other thing, a little background is needed on why the “Zionist hoodlums” a/k/a proud Jewish Americans were up in arms about her Academy Award nomination. From my 2007 column, “Vanessa Redgrave’s Al-Qaeda Activity No Surprise”:

Throughout the 1970s, Vanessa Redgrave had been a pro-Palestinian activist, praising the P.L.O. and denouncing Israel as fascist and Nazi-like. Many of her comments were anti-Semitic. In 1977, Vanessa Redgrave starred as “Julia” in the movie of the same name, which co-starred Jane Fonda as Communist writer Lillian Hellman, who smuggled funds into Nazi Germany to the resistance movement during the Holocaust. Julia was an anti-fascist activist and Jew who was Lillian’s friend. Redgrave was given the role, despite the just and rightful protests of Holocaust survivors and other Jews all over the world. Now, she’s helping Al-Qaeda. No suprise.
Also no surprise that she used the Holocaust yet again to justify her pan-Islamist activity:

It is a profound honour and I am glad to be alive to be able to do this. Guantanamo Bay is a concentration camp. It is a disgrace that these men have been kept there all these years.

Yup, the Redgraves “minded their own business” and “never bothered anybody” except innocent non-Muslims who want to live in peace and keep their freedoms.
**** UPDATE #2: Vanessa Redgrave’s daughter, Natasha Richardson, died. I stand by my comments about her vile, disgusting mother, and again state that the wrong person got taken out via a skiing accident.
Now that she is dead in an untimely death at such a relatively young age, I’m sure we’ll hear endlessly about how great her mother is.
No sympathy for this pan-terrorist witch from me. Only for the late Richardson (who was great in “The Parent Trap” remake with Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid), Richardson’s husband, actor Liam Neeson (one of my favorites), and her children. Her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, can go to hell. And since she’s consorted with the P.L.O. throughout her life, we can safely say she’s already visited many times.

Nevermind waterboarding; watching the View is real torture.
I wonder if Redgrave will blame this terrible accident on some Zionist conspiracy.

Paddy Chayefsky’s comments hit the nail on the head! excellent!

Yoiks, skiing accidents.
Sonny Bono
Michael Kennedy
A manager I worked for became a parapalegic due to a skiing accident. Crap, I fractured my leg skiing in January. It was fracture-light; I thought it was just a bad sprain to my knee and finished the day skiing for around 90 minutes on a busted leg. Maybe I’m brain dead.

She probably did since it was ages ago.

Natasha was probably the least noxious member of that vile family. Too bad it wasn’t Vanessa the jihadi who died.

lexi on March 18, 2009 at 8:17 pm

I’m sad about Natasha Richardson, and I’m the last person to ever say the sins of the father/mother are visited upon the child, but Vanessa Redgrave’s evil ideology cannot be ignored. Redgrave has long supported the Palestinian movement. She helped that one prisoner at Guantonomo Bay escape. She’s bragged about her socialist leanings, and she made horrible statements just after 911. Redgrave’s politics are really despicable. Nothing justifies the death of one’s child, at any age….and I’m totally saddened when anyone dies. But I do wonder if it helps matters any to gloss over and sugarcoat Redgrave’s numerous offenses.

The statement was mind-numbingly stupid. Of course that what happens when people don’t bother to learn the truth. Few people care about that today. I’m quick to fess up when I’m careless about saying something. Just don’t expect the Joy Behars of the world and fellow hags on “The View” to follow suit. The Redgraves, in particular, Natasha’s mother Vanessa is NOT a “good person.” She favored Far Left causes, the PLO and Islamic terrorism long before they became politically correct. She was beautiful in her youth and lend credence to the old saying, “beauty is only skin deep.” In today’s image-obsessed world, character is entirely secondary to looks. That’s why the female know-nothings on “The View” couldn’t care about the real Redgraves.

NormanF on March 18, 2009 at 9:28 pm

In her “Zionist hoodlums” statement, she also claims to support jews and rails against anti-semitism. WTF?

Natasha Richardson has died from her injuries.

And as far as Vanessa Redgrave is concerned…BURN IN HELL BITCH! WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND WHE YOUR TIME COMES!

I’m telling you they should rename the show “The Land of The Lost”. Does anyone have any F**king clue on that show what goes on? These ladies are so lost on any subject they touch. Nag, nag, nag…Joy’s on the Rag!!
Maybe the narrator should start, “On another episode of the Land of The Lost, The Hags are arguing over…..

The View is specifically intended to be as offensive as possible to anyone right of center. Elderly hag Barbara Walters needs so desperately to feel relevant, she uses her great wealth to produce a show with her as the the star. Her own leftist agenda takes center stage, as she has, by hiring the ignorant Hasselbeck, provided a punching bag for a daily leftist gang-bang.
To make it even more offensive, she brings through a cavalcade of the most repugnant lefty hags she can find: “Star” Jones, followed by angry dyke Rosie O’Donnell, followed by the ever vile Whoopi Goldberg (who makes Rosie look beautiful). Vacuous women nationwide eat it up!! I guess when the fairness doctrine returns, it will go away? Not holding my breath

spiffo on March 18, 2009 at 10:39 pm

And now they give Oscars to Al Gore.
Have you ever noticed that individuals and factions generally partial to greater state control of economic life, have found the evidence for global warming to be quite compelling?

Debbie, I agree. The Parent Trap was the best work of not only NR, but also of pre-crazy La Lohan. I always wanted to see a director’s cut of how they got little Lindsay to talk to herself as both characters in the same scene. Now that’s movie magic. Also NR’s mom VR is supportive of just about any cause that damages Western and Judeo/xtian civilization, so it’s not like she is picking on the Jews, it’s more like she is just wrong about everything.

I get the impression from British people that they’re not so much anti-semitic (not as much as their continental neighbors anyway) but they seem to have always had a permanent hard-on for Arabs. Maybe it’s some collective Lawrence of Arabia fantasy they all share.

Tempus Fugit on March 19, 2009 at 1:55 am

Yah, its a family tragedy, but we have to deal with the fact that Vicious-Vanessa will abuse her new soapbox. I tried to get a copy of a 1977 “60 Minutes” interview with her, in which she was seen dancing with an AK47 while Arafat looked on. No luck. Natasha Richardson was interviewed in same.

Deb:
I take comfort knowing that you think Natasha Richardson was a decent person as well as Liam Neeson.
I am certainly aware of Venessa Redgrave’s anti-Semitic views. Reading between the lines of your update #2, it seems that Natasha and Liam rejected Redgrave’s views (publicly or privately). I take great comfort knowing that.

You seem to have forgotten that Brits have a fascination with Islam long before Lawrence of Arabia…probably because both the English, Arabs and Muslim have that slavetrader tie!

Vanessa Redgrave is a terrific actress but I try to avoid films in which she appears in. R.I.P. Natasha Richardson.

Ripper on March 19, 2009 at 9:16 am

The only thing more torturous then watching “The View” is watching “Countdown” with Keith Olbermann or “Hardball” with Chris Matthews.

Ripper on March 19, 2009 at 9:20 am

Ripper:
I watch Keith Olbermann for the comedic value. He makes me laugh.
Around the time of the Republican convention he was discussing a comment McCain made that if elected he (McCain) would get Bin Laden.
Olbermann was going nuts as he tried to claim that McCain was holding America hostage and was refusing to give the Pentagon his plan to get Bin Laden unless he was elected President. Olbermann started to foam at the mouth. It was hysterical! The MSNBC web site had this clip for a while (I don’t know if they still do). I used to watch it all the time when something at work stressed me out.
The bias there is so thick you can feel it. It is actually funny in the sense these guys can keep a straight face when they have to know everyone else knows how biased they are.
You should see his “Worst Persons” segment. If I remember correctly I saw it once when he made Debbie one of his worst persons. I do remember Pamela Geller (of Atlas Shrugs) was made a “worst person” (coming from Olbermann that is actually a badge of honor).

Don’t drive up PMSNBC’s ratings watching Chwissy Matthews, David Shyster, Keith Olberasshole, and Mr. Rachel Maddow.

Ripper on March 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm

I feel sorry for her husband and children. That’s an awful loss.
However, in anticipation of the media frenzy of what I call “mourning sickness”, I plan to avoid the news until after the funeral.

I have been fortunate to meet both Vanessa and Natasha on two occasions, once together, and I found them both to be very polite, eloquent and charming people. I disagree with some of Mrs. Redgrave’s outspoken political views (or any socialist, for that matter), though she has every right to have them. The way I was brought up, I think it is all but her duty to say what she believes to be the truth when she has the opportunity. I never had the impression that she was anti-semitic, especially given how she famously campaigned for freedom for Soviet Jews. My point is, you can argue with many of her beliefs, but she has always been well-meaning and someone with strength, class, and character, not to mention talent. We are lucky to have her.
As for the tragic situation with Natasha, it’s just another reminder of our mortality and how at any moment everything can change because of a random, senseless accident. I saw her in a staged reading of Sondheim’s musical, A Little Night Music (starring alongside her mother, who was in top form), a few months ago, and she was so vibrant and charming. This sort of thing really makes you appreciate being alive. We only get to exist for a little while. Life is just too short to be venomous and hateful to people you don’t know anything about, especially people who are going through such hard times. Given Mrs. ( or Ms. ?) Schlussel’s previous postings that I have read, it could have been worse, but the post was still in very bad taste.

PandemoniumShadowBoy on March 20, 2009 at 2:10 am

Debbie,
I remember, when Natasha played Ruth Gruber in
“The Haven.” I went to hear Gruber speak, and she was asked, I believe, or volunteered, in her talk
that Natasha had said to her in regards to her Mother’s activities for the PLO, etc., that, possibly, her taking this role would help ameliorate that image with which she, herself, had to live.It was her Mother’s ideology, not her’s. I don’t think, one can assume the child of someone will
hold similar views, or lifestyles, as the parent.
Oddly, I haven’t heard a word about her role in “The Haven.”

mindy1 on March 21, 2009 at 10:57 am

Debbie,
With all due respect, I think stating that “the wrong person” has been taken out is doubting the infinite wisdom of Hashem. What would be the point of taking out the old hag Redgrave? The worst thing for a parent is to survive their children so the punishment is JUST.Yeah, yeah, yeah..I can hear people saying that Richardson hasn’t done anything, etc. That’s not the point. She paid for what her G-d hating witch of a mother has done.
When I was still living in the former Soviet Union, there was a political commentator, TV personality named Heinrich Borovik. This self-hating Jew was putting out antisemitic documentaries which were mostly about “the evil Zionist regime” in Israel.Borovik was getting paid a lot and lived a lavish lifestyle, even after the fall of Communism.
Fast forward to the year of 2000.Artem Borovik, (his son) also a journalist(not antisemitic) dies in a strange plane crash.
Coincidence?
You tell me..Hashem will strike down our enemies.I want Redgrave to live a long time..and suffer every minute of her pathetic existence.

jdemon519 on March 21, 2009 at 7:04 pm

For the person who thinks that Redgrave has every right to have her views..
Redgrave is the small part of Aman and she is already punished for doing evil to Jewish people.Gays have their rights as well..But their perversion reflects on all of us.Of course Hashem is taking care of it with AIDS.

jdemon519 on March 21, 2009 at 7:10 pm

PandemoniumShadowBoy:
If someone hates Jews, they’re an anti-Semite. That includes Zionist Jews. Venessa Redgrave is an anti-Semite.
Fighting against one form of anti-Semitism (i.e. Naziism or freedom for Soviet Jews) does not give someone a license to support another form of anti-Semitism (i.e. Israel-hatred). It’s really just that simple and there’s no sense trying to rationalize Redgrave’s views. I find nothing “classy” about being anti-Semitic.

We Should Celebrate As Vanessa Redgrave Mourns
The Tony Award winning actress Natasha Richardson died on March 18, 2009 after injuries sustained in a skiing accident. Richardson was the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and the wife of Liam Neeson.
In 1977, Vanessa Redgrave funded and narrated the notorious pro-PLO propaganda film ìThe Palestinianî. That same year she starred in the film ìJuliaî with fellow leftist radical Jane Fonda. It was about a woman murdered by the Nazi regime in the years prior to World War II.
Vanessa Redgrave is well known for making such shockingly ant-Semitic statements as: ìZionism is a brutal, racist ideology. And it is a brutal racist regime.î
In 1978 Vanessa Redgrave won an Oscar Award for her performance in ìJulia.î Members of the Jewish Defense League (JDL), burned effigies of Redgrave and picketed the awards ceremony on Monday, April 3, 1978.
In one of the first uses of the Academy Awards for hate speech Vanessa Redgrave stated everyone there ìÖrefused to be intimidated by the threats of a small bunch of Zionist hoodlums (in reference to the JDL) whose behavior is an insult to the stature of Jews all over the worldÖî
Redgrave sought to draw a distinction between ìZionistsî and ìJewsî. JDL founder Rabbi Kahane responded by releasing a book with the title: ìListen Vanessa, I am a Zionistî. The book is still available under the title ìListen World, Listen Jew.î For many years after that JDLers in the U.S. and Israel were buttons that stated ìIím a Zionist Hooliganî and ìProud to be a Zionist Hooligan.î
On the Hebrew calendar April 3, 1978 was the 25th of Adar II; March 18, 2009 was the 22nd of Adar. The Hebrew month of Adar contains the Jewish holiday of Purim, which marks the triumph of the Jews over Haman (the would be Hitler of ancient Persian Empire) as recorded in the Biblical Book of Esther. The Bible relates that Hamanís ten sons were killed by Jewish fighters on what is now Purim. Many observers miss the fact that Haman was executed many months earlier. Ancient Jewish wisdom reminds Jews that ìwith the start of the Month of Adar we increase rejoicing.î
In our time Vanessa Redgrave embraced the bloodthirsty terror of Arafat and the PLO and brought the cache of movie star celebrity to their murderous cause. This Adar this Jew celebrates as Vanessa Redgrave mourns. Ancient Jewish wisdom teaches that mankind is punished ìmeasure for measure.î Vanessa Redgraveís supported Arafat ñ the Haman and Hitler we most recently faced ñ as his terrorists murdered Jewish children and now her child is dead.
