LA Times: No Prob Releasing Photos That Kill US Soldiers, But Won’t Release Video of Obama w/ HAMASnik

By Debbie Schlussel

Take note:  the Los Angeles Times has no problem with releasing photos that will lead to the murder of more American soldiers.  And, yet, the paper still won’t release video–it acknowledged it has in its possession–of Barack Obama and Palestinian Muslim activist Rashid Khalidi, while the latter is attacking Jews, Israel (and America) and the former–our President applauds, as Khalidi shows his allegiance to HAMAS and company.  Yup, that’s the sickening double standard:  getting Muslim exercised and prepared to pounce on Americans–GREAT; showing Americans documentary evidence of the President’s pan-terrorist leanings–F- The Public’s Right to Know! (And William Ayers is in the video, too.)

American Soldiers Pose w/ Dead Terrorist & His Hand

On top of that, like many of you I’m sick and tired of the faux-outrage and plastic morality of the liberal media and pan-Marxist Presidential administration that is so smugly “sad” and “disappointed” whenever photos show up of our brave soldiers posing with body parts of Islamic terrorists who tried–and failed–to kill them.  The latest–the Los Angeles Times release of photos of Americans posing with a dead Islamic terrorist’s body parts in Afghanistan–is Exhibit A.

The severed scumbag in one photo was a homicide bomber.  He was trying to kill Americans.  And, in Al-Darwin fashion, he blew himself up instead.  The other creep in the photos is a dead terrorist. While it’s macabre and tasteless, I have no problem with the photos, nor should you.  We are at war.  Or, rather, they are at war with us. And the dead, exploded terrorists are stark evidence of that.

That we keep apologizing to those who want to annihilate us isn’t helping us. It’s making things worse. The Muslim world doesn’t respect panderers. They respect–and fear–those in photos like the ones in the Los Angeles Times. It was the same with Nazis in World War II. They would tell their buddies what the Americans did to them, and their buddies would fear the Americans. That’s what you do when you are at war.

And, yet, the Obama people are upset about this.  They claim they are upset that the soldiers posed with this dead “human being.”  Why?  Is it that this guy was a person worthy of any respect or regard as a homosapien?  Is it that they are sorry the cretin didn’t succeed in his mission?  Definitely yes to the first question, and probably yes to the second one.

And the Los Angeles Times ain’t any different.  Their actions in determining which photos and video they choose to release and publish–and which photos and video they refuse to show us–are telling.

They hate America, but love Islamic terrorists and their chosen President.  I don’t like Mitt Romney or trust him one bit, but at least I know he’ll be forced to run for re-election.  Barack Obama will not if he’s returned to the White House.

And then it won’t be videos and photos we’ll be outraged about.  It’ll be far worse.

Hey, L.A. Times, Release the Video NOW!

Thank you DS! You said it!!

Release the video NOW, LA Times!!!!!

And also, let’s remember the name Hussein al-Husseini on this day to remember the Oklahoma City Bombing.

Funny, just read another hack piece on TDB on Oklahoma City saying that there WAS a middle-eastern influence to OCB BUT did not mention Hussein al-Husseini.

Check DS’ archives. She has mentioned and written on him plenty. Because she knows of what she reports!

Bravo!!!

Ms. Schlussel, Israel behaves the exact same way. For example, the case of Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner and his magazine butt to some Danish prick’s mouth. Yet, you don’t criticize Israel for stupid apologies. Why not?

FK: I actually was going to (and may still), but I can’t get to everything–not enough time. DS

FrenchKiss on April 19, 2012 at 5:07 pm

She has criticized Israel for being soft repeatedly. Gilead Shalit’s ransom made her nearly puke. Try reading back issues before making such uninformed comments.

Worry on April 19, 2012 at 5:23 pm

I’ve been outraged at the treatment of Lt. Col Shalom Eisner as the George Zimmerman of Israel.

And the one who relieved him of his command, Lt. Gen Benny Gantz allowed an IDF soldier named Yusuf Mathut to bleed to death at Kever Yosef during the Rosh Hashana War in 2000.

Is beating anti-Semite deserving of far harsher consequences than allowing an Israeli soldier to die under fire? In a normal country, Gantz would never have become Chief Of Staff. But Israel is anything but a normal country.

This is the man who sat in moral judgment of Eisner without even the pretense of a show trial. Everything was already decided in advance.

Whatever the decision to dismiss him on Wednesday was all about, rest assured it had nothing in common with justice!

NormanF on April 19, 2012 at 6:14 pm

Before convicting Eisner one should keep in mind that he was injured in the confrontation including broken arm and 2 fingers in cast. Further he is a good commander and had done many good deeds including the bringing of of medical care to Palestinians.
Besides the anti-Israel, leftist activists doctored the video.

Excellent commentary om the Times’ anti-American, pan-islamic, double-standard tripe, Debbie.

i’ll think this is dispicable

when the first islamic holyman
when the first islamic mosque
when the first islamic nation
when the first islamic group
when the first muslim

denounces and condemnes
the acts of 9-11

until then

all muslims are our enemies
all muslims are to be condemned

there is not such thing as a
moderate muslim

prestigio on April 19, 2012 at 5:41 pm

Never going to happen!

As for the faux outrage over dead Islamic terrorists, well the Administration and the media have never shown such concern over American soldiers murdered by Islamic terrorists.

And I’m not expecting the pandering attitude towards Islam to change no matter who is elected President in November.

NormanF on April 19, 2012 at 6:05 pm

@Worry on April 19, 2012 at 5:23 pm

The two events you describe are completely unrelated and there is no comparison. I’ll let you research why that’s true. As for uninformed, you have no idea who I am or what I know, so it’s you that is the uninformed one.

FrenchKiss on April 19, 2012 at 6:14 pm

I’m not happy with the photos, but I’m not outraged by them either. Anyone who is outraged by the photos or even surprised by them doesn’t understand the true nature of war and what it can psychologically do to a person to have to deal with death and destruction every day. As my veteran Dad told me, your jokes and actions do become more macabre the longer you’re on the front lines. I’m supposed to be upset with troops posing for photos with the body parts of a suicide bomber??? And if you study the history of wars and conflict, posing with body parts of a dead enemy is mild when compared to what was done to the bodies of enemies in past wars over the centuries.
At best, this whole thing is a non-scandal designed by the newspaper to “shock and awe” very naive people and at worst, it was designed to put American troops in even greater danger.

D. O'Nay on April 19, 2012 at 6:19 pm

The American soldiers made a mistake. They forgot to make it a photo-story: first, show hand; then, show hand dipped in clearly marked “lard;” THEN, show hand with American soldier. Smiling.

Poor, poor showmanship. The LA Times editorial staff are treasonous vermin, like most Libtard journos.

Occam's Tool on April 19, 2012 at 6:43 pm

They released the photos not because they have news value: they are from November 2010. They published them to incite Islamic terrorists to kill more American soldiers.

The Obama Administration is again apologizing to the barbarians… for well being killed and indecently posed! Hey, its not like Islamic terrorists do indecent things to infidels.

I’m sick and tired of the never ending groveling to Islam and insulting our troops for killing Islamic terrorists. What the hell are we doing there if only to get our soldiers killed?

Its not like Washington cares about winning an unwinnable war in Afghanistan.

The entire LA Times editorial board should be put on trial for treason.

Patrick on April 19, 2012 at 7:18 pm

Coverage like this should be kept in mind when assessing Allen West’s observations about large sections of the Democratic Party embracing communist ideology.

Little Al on April 19, 2012 at 7:24 pm

I still can see those four charred bodies of US citizens hanging from that bridge in Iraq. Only because I saw it on the internet and not in some national publication. Now THAT makes me sick.

JeffT on April 19, 2012 at 7:32 pm

I again ask everyone on this site. Leon Lisa (because he acts like a little bitch) Panetta apologized for the photos. Who did he apologize to, THE TALIBAN? OUR ENEMY WHO IS BLOWING UP OUR TROOPS? TO KARZAI WHO IS A CROOK AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN STRUNG UP BY HIS OWN PEOPLE?

Defense Secretary Lisa Panetta should resign before her next hissy fit.

Jonathan E. Grant on April 19, 2012 at 9:42 pm

    Jonathan,

You’re right. Our current SecDef is a whinning Muslim appologist. Just like his boss the Obamanation. Panetta makes Gates, Cohen, and Perry look like geniues.

On another note, everyone, all of the thousands of readers of Debbie’s wonderful website/blog, should call the Los Angeles Time’s editor, and leave a message demanding that the Obama tape be released.

Of course, most of you will not make the phone call, and will merely keep your fingers up your noses. That is why conservatives are losing the battle.

Jonathan E. Grant on April 19, 2012 at 9:44 pm

I submitted a letter via their website.

The LA Times is disappearing, but is determined to outlast the nation.
They are no longer an international paper, they no longer have a truly national news staff, they are losing subscribers from Fresno to Dan Diego. They are the liberal version of an MSM suicide. Everyone of the high paid reporters will be out of a job within 5 years.

pat on April 20, 2012 at 12:21 am

The MSM and leftist WikiLeaks types love to proclaim the “people’s right to know”… UNLESS they decree otherwise!… Regardless of who or what may be harmed by the publication…

Obviously, the “people’s right to know” goes into effect when it suits their purposes and, equally obviously, the “people’s right to know” goes out the window when that suits their purposes…

Bunch of hypocrites IMHO…

Soldiers react to the ugliness of war in ugly ways. If the Los Angeles Times got those pictures from Facebook or the Internet, it was unwise of some soldier to post them there. He should have realized liberals and journalists and people who dpn’t take into consideration the hideous pressure a soldier is under would see them. He should have kept them in his pocket and showed them to his buddies.

Miranda Rose Smith on April 20, 2012 at 5:03 am

Maybe the LA Time is just being sensitive to the primitive Muslim belief that one’s soul resides in a picture once it has been taken. I had to be careful when taking pictures in both Turkey and Tartarstan as there were quite a few Muslims who shared the belief. Now it wouldnt be fair to capture a Muslim Jihadi soul on an image and thus deny him his trip to heaven and his 72 virgins. I was told by several secular muslims that the original iconoclast beliefs came from this theological dogma. Several times I have seen elderly Muslims either refuse to allow their picture taken, or quickly leave the room when I pulled out my camera. Now come on guys, we need to be sensitive to the needs of the departed Muslim soul!

The Media are treasonous, Obama sits where he is due to their TREASON!.

How much longer before we realize they will do anything to destroy this country and re-elect their Messiah.

I know they deserve the same pusnishment all traitors are due. When do we start treating them like same?

I learned a long time ago when I delieverd Newspapers, there is an Oxymoron.

Most Letters to the Editor feature the same people from all over the country in different newspapers.

How Likely is that?

All paid shills for disinformation.

What kind of f’ing moron would condemn a soldier for blowing ooff a little pink steam, pink with the steam of human blood he witnesses, the maddening explosions of shells and bombs. The sight of human hamburger that used to be a buddy. Pieces of his friends after and IED.
This was not Mai Lai. To these survivors this is Karma. Remember what happened on that bridge in Iraq with body parts strung up?
The dragging of dead and dying soldeirs through the streets of Somalia. Perhaps these guys should wait until they get home and tell it all on Dr.Phil.

Ron Wolf aka "Columbo" on April 20, 2012 at 9:59 am

This is why papers like the LA Times, New York Times and the Boston Globe are losing customers. The LA Times in particular is so far in the tank for Obambi that it borders on insane. The problem is is that the anti-war dope smoking hippie freaks of the sixties are in places of importance at these newspapers.
They hated the military then and hate them now.Their refusal to show the tape of Obumbo with his Klingon wife at a dinner with a known terrorist speaks volumes about their liberal bias. It is really pathetic when you consider how the media treated GWB and his administration. It is also pathetic that our good military men and women continue to do an outstanding job and not have the CIC, SecDef and others in charge stick up for them. Instead they make apologies to idiots like Karzai. THe whole thing is just mind boggling.

First off to everyone and Debbie herself, I welcome myself back to this blog, I’ve been away for nearly a week, because my computer was being worked on and being upgraded so it can move a little quicker, forgive me for being away for this long.

Secondly to the main subject, the person who released those photos of the LA Times ought to be arrested for what he did, that is “sedition” what that photographer of the LA Times did. Didn’t that photographer knows that by releasing those photos of our soldiers holding the bodies of dead muslim jihadist will harm our brave troops in the middle east and embolden the islamist scumbag terrorist! We all remember back under Bush’s days a journalist from Time Magazine did something similar to what this jerk at the LA Times did, but at that time the asshole from Time Magazine sent out all sorts of propaganda by claiming that our brave soldiers killed innocent Iraqi men, women and children, where it was an Iraqi-muslim who did that!

Also, I saw that you posted the LA Times’ information, you know what, I think I’ll give them a call or an email to let them know what they did was seditious and putting our troops in harms way on the battlefield.

Dave on April 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm

Why should I care about the dead bodies of those who maliciously tried to kill not Western soldiers? Suicide bombers and those who enable them are very low forms of like. These are not honorable warriors fighting for a cause, but gangsters asserting territorial control over the opium trade. A person who willingly becomes a human torpedo is acknowledging their worthlessness as a human being. Why should anyone accord such a person any level of respect or honor. They are indeed mindless garbage, snd should be treated as such.

The plastic morality of the news media is nauseating. Verbal handcuffs on ‘logic and reasoning’ slowly eats into the subliminal minds of their readers leading to controlled minds. Isn’t this their mission, very Hitleresque in the undergrowth but glossed up by the Hollywood hypocrites and their ilke who endorse this behaviour.

The beheading of Daniel Pearl for public consumption seems to have been buried. OK for Muslims, of course to fix fear into the DNA of the civilised world. However, had the captain in the WH been selected as the man to carry the country through choppy waters, results would have been different. Instead the fawning ‘cognescenti’ selected the most inexperienced politician of all time who didn’t have anything American about him. America is slowly crumbling under his watch as he and his cronies support the enemy. Can military morale get any lower…

When I was a Marine we did a hell of a lot worse to remind the enemy what would happen if they messed with us, it was extremely effective. Now as a contractor I absolutely forbid anyone to take any photos period! What happens in the field stays in the field and I do not allow reporters of any stripe anywhere near my area of operations including the occasional visit to remind them of what happens if they break my rules, so far so good. When the muslim enemy uses our own reporters to make our troops look bad it is time to eliminate a few reporters to get the point accross. Trust me it works.

DS,

Five days after revelations about the secret service in Colombia surfaced, the Los Angeles Times published photographs of US marines posing with the mangled corpses of Afghan insurgents. One featured the unofficial platoon patch, “Zombie hunter”, over the remains of someone who had blown themselves up accidentally.

This “most certainly does not represent the character and the professionalism of the great majority of our troops in Afghanistan”, insisted Captain John Kirby, a spokesman for the Pentagon, which pressured the LA Times not to release the photos. This incident, which occurred two years ago, should not be confused with the professionalism of the marines videoed urinating on Afghan corpses or the sergeant who ran amok in two Afghan villages leaving 17 civilians dead.

Nor are these contradictions new. In June 1964, President Lyndon Johnson told the Greek ambassador to Washington: “Fuck your parliament and your constitution … We pay a lot of good American dollars to the Greeks, Mr Ambassador. If your prime minister gives me talk about democracy, parliament and constitution, he, his parliament and his constitution may not last long …” Within three years Greece was under a brutal military junta backed by the US, from which it did not emerge for a decade.

The lib media always picks and chooses their villains. Remember how Bernie Shaw of CNN took the opportunity to speak with iraqi’s (our enemy) during the Desert Shield and Storm ops. When our intelligence officers wanted some questions answered he claimed journalistic privilege. American lives were at stake and that jerk and his network did that. Or Wolf Blitzer showing his videos of American service members being killed by enemy snipers in Iraq a few years ago. Good to know that the nice folks at CNN have such tight connections with al jazeera. How about the wiki leaks commie, Asange. He was going to expose everyone with too much power. Waiting to see his reports on his comrades. Still.
