Obama DumbAssity of the Day: Will Name LA RAZA Dude to Head . . . U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services???!!!!

By Debbie Schlussel
I feel like we’re living in an episode of “The Twilight Zone.” Can it really be that Barack Hussein Obama is about to name an open borders guy from Casa De Maryland–an affiliate of La Raza–to head up U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services???!!! According to the Washington Post, the answer is Si, Gringos.
Oy Vey:

Tom Perez, Maryland’s labor secretary and a former Montgomery County council member, could soon join the Obama administration, sounces tell The Post.
Immigrant advocates say the White House and the Department of Homeland Security have nearly finalized their choices to lead two major immigration agencies.

For U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, sources tell our colleague Spencer Hsu that Perez appears to be the pick. Perez, a key player on Obama’s transition, was a top official in the Justice Department under President Clinton.
For DHS assistant secretary for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, all signs point to John T. Morton, a career Justice Department official who has overseen complex immigration and terrorism cases — most recently as chief of the criminal division’s domestic security section.

Thanks to the readers at Free Republic for tipping me off that Perez is former board director for Casa de Maryland, an open borders/illegal aliens advocacy group and an affiliate of Reconquista group, La Raza.
More on Perez, via 24Ahead, from the Washington Post (see caption of picture at link) on Perez’s support for in-state tuition for illegal aliens:

Maryland’s labor secretary, Thomas E. Perez, right, joined students in Annapolis to urge approval of a bill granting in-state tuition rates to undocumented immigrants.

Let me remind you that the head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is in charge of almost all immigration benefits–citizenship, green cards, some visas, etc. Do we want a man who believes illegal aliens deserve to be here to be in charge of whether or not these lawbreakers get citizenship? Maybe Victoria’s Secret will hire Rosie O’Donnell as a lingerie model.
As reader Ray writes:

Doomed . . . . We’re all doomed.

Wish I could disagree, Ray. Wish I could.

Isn’t the President of the United States responsible for upholding the law?
I mean… wasn’t “failure to uphold the law” the pretext by which impeachment was sought against President Nixon?

It seems that most Americans are tired of their Constitution and laws and want to remake America into a Marxist nation. That’s why the majority of Americans voted for and support President Huessein’s policy’s. Huessein made it clear when he was running for election that he was going to Re-Make America. He still stands by the term ‘Re-Make’. So, I don’t know why anyone is suprised when he is doing just that. Also, anyone who would oppose his views has been so marginalized by not only the mainstream press and hollywood but also by conservitives so that there really is no opposition.

“Also, anyone who would oppose his views has been so marginalized by not only the mainstream press and hollywood but also by conservitives so that there really is no opposition.”
Is this really what you meant to say? That conservatives marginalize anyone who opposes Obama’s views? If that’s really your view, I disagree.
I’m also not sure how Hollywood has played into commentary on Obama. Not yet through film, perhaps through the statements of several actors, but actors are generally left wing air heads and only other left wing air heads lend them an ear.

With all due respect, why should ANY of these appointments surprise anyone who was paying attention during the campaign? Obama is going to “remake Amerika” by hook or by crook. He is a man of his word, even when he outright lies (there are no earmarks in the Recovery Act”). There are 9,000 such earmarks, but who’s counting and who’s calling him on his lies in the MSM, better knwon as Obamaland. We are doomed as long as these people are in charge. America,as we know and love it, is a goner unless someone stands up to these THUGS. Let the Tea Party begin!

Maybe this guy will resolve KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA’s “natural born citizen” problem? COBRAMA’s administration is nothing but a bunch of Marxists. Amnesty is around the corner. With Republicans like Mel Marinez, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Snowe, Spector, and Collins the literal check is in the mail.

Just had to take place here in maryland…my backyard.
There’s a Casa De Maryland branch right up the street from me. And if these dumbasses wanna say they are maryland, then I’d rather be american.

Hussein needs to be tried for treason…period. As I’ve always said, “Scratch a Dhimmirat, find a traitor.” His whole putrid party is a nest of traitors and deserves to get a traitor’s fate.

KING HUSSEIN COBRAMA is underestimating the ruthlessness of the drug cartels next door. He just has to look next door at the war going on in Mexico. Illegal immigration is not just people just coming for a better life it has transformed into an industry by the cartel who have shown they will use all weapons at their disposal to traffic desperate people. Drugs or people, it is just another commodity now. The Los Angeles Times has done a great series of what is happening in Mexico.

Wait, it’s not over. We’ve got a hate crimes bill moving down the pike. It’s really a “hate” speech bill. Well, you say, there are first amendment protections. Sorry, out of luck on that score. Apparently, this bill includes a wily provision about speech which incites minors to commit hate crimes. So, if you write that Islam is incompatible with the US Constitution, you have incited hate on the part of minors against Muslims. There will be a commission of some type which will determine whether or not you incited.
What’s more, this legislation will clear the way for more powerful state human rights commissions. Might want to ask Steyn, Levant, et al. about those.

A quote from Winston Churchill seem in order as a reality check….”the malice of the wicked was reinforced by the weakness of the virtuous…the counsels of prudence and self restraint became the prime agents of mortal danger…the middle course adopted from desires for safety and a quiet life led direct to the bulls-eye of disaster”.

I used to rail against the idiots who allowed the borders to be so porous (and that includes President Bush.) I went to Brazil recently, and talked to people who were worried about their chances to get to the US due to a restrictive visa policy. As I wrote to my representatives, we told the Brazilians to just go to Mexico, and you can simply cross the border, where we’ll pay for your education, give you money to live on, pay for any medical bills, etc. The Brazilians think we’re nuts. Why doesn’t everyone else?
I no longer worry about the borders. Due to the fact that only two thirds of the people who are crossing the border are Mexicans (guess where the rest are from!) the people who we needed to worry about are already here.
