Trayvon Martin’s Filthy Porno-esque Tweets: If Obama Had a Son, Would He Talk Like This?

By Debbie Schlussel

I hate to give credit to slimy faux-conservative Schmucker Carlson’s “Daily Caller,” after he attacked me on a national radio show (he couldn’t handle that the host, Bubba, mentioned and praised me during what was supposed to be his silly interview).  But the website got access to the entire Twitter account of Trayvon Martin (follow me on Twitter).  They didn’t highlight any of the tweets and I wasn’t about to read through all 152 pages.  But the few pages I went through read like the dirtiest sewer ever.  I think these would make even Larry Flynt blush (well, maybe).  Many of them are “retweets” (to those not on Twitter, that means you resend to all of your followers something with which you apparently agree).  But some are just the vile filth he himself thought up.  One of them, about the panties, was his that someone else retweeted.  I couldn’t find his original tweet.

More Disgusting Trayvon Martin Obama Tweets . . .

Gee, I wonder why his “grieving” mother, who filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office, isn’t trying to trademark the Trayvon panties tweet.  Sadly, if George Zimmerman is tried, he won’t be allowed to introduce any of this vile filth in his defense because it’s not considered relevant or “fair” to the “victim.”  Victim, indeed.  I know I’ll be pilloried by the left and plenty of jealous faux-conservatives for saying this, but with his criminal record and vile filth, it’s becoming more and more apparent that George Zimmerman may have unintentionally performed a service to the world.  How many more crime victims and sufferers of his violence would the world endure from this thug had he lived?

I have been vilified many times over the last few days for posting your articles and spreading the truth about what we know about the thug and what eyewitnesses say happened that night. Why are so many people insisting that this MUST be a cold blooded murder of an innocent lil’ cute kid when we KNOW that’s not the case???

PDMac60 on March 27, 2012 at 2:06 pm

It has to do with the race of the perp and the victim. As Debbie wrote yesterday, if a black man had killed Martin, no one would care. But because people think a white guy did it, they second guess his motives without knowing why it happened and who the victim really was in life. And I doubt many people have a clue about who either one of them is. Its basically a national morality play with the theme of “whitey is guilty!” And here the facts and the truth or falsity of the incident don’t really matter in the least – not to any one else who has reported or written on it.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:27 pm

Norman, The real irony is that the “White Racist” role in your play is performed by a Hispanic male who is a registered Democrat.

      Where is La Raza?

      Worry01 on March 27, 2012 at 4:49 pm

Zimmerman is a registered DEMOCRAT and his friends say he voted for obama?

So I guess this was DEMOCRAT on DEMOCRAT crime…no matter WHAT the outcome!! Obama is to blame.

Alabama Pride on March 27, 2012 at 8:38 pm

Not to mention CAIR crashing in on the affair:

Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, said Alawadi’s death was a primary topic of conversation among speakers and attendees on Sunday evening at the organisation’s annual banquet in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn.

He and others compared her slaying to that of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed Florida teen shot by a neighbourhood watch volunteer and whose case has ignited racial tensions.

“Treyvon was black wearing a hoodie. Shaima was wearing a hijab,” Walid said. “It’s the same racist principle at play that killed both of these individuals.”

Yup, every one’s riding on the “racism train.” And with its headlights blinding the public, the truth is the first casualty.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:14 pm

I bet she and her husband were registered democrats too.

Alabama Pride on March 27, 2012 at 8:39 pm

Be careful, PD, you’re thinking again.

Mr. M on March 27, 2012 at 2:15 pm

Debbie,

Congrats for bringing this to light. Cuz we know the mainstream media won’t. Trayvon Martin is a saint to them. And if he talked like a foul-mouthed thug, well that won’t change their minds about him being an innocent angel gunned down by an evil white man. Too late to change the script now.

And nobody that has called for Zimmerman’s judicial lynching has felt the least embarrassment or shame. Its beyond those folks!

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:20 pm

I don’t think I would go that far and call it performing a service, but I would say that it makes him look like quite the unsavoury character and makes Zimmerman’s story believable.

Karen on March 27, 2012 at 2:21 pm

Its true neither of them is a saint but Zimmerman wears well compared to Martin. And he’s already been tried, convicted and found guilty in the court of public opinion. Never mind that both the police AND DA in Florida found he acted in legitimate self-defense when Martin assaulted him.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:32 pm

Amazing. “Civil rights” leaders, aided by the President of the United States, side with a black guy named “Trayvon” who viciously sucker punches an innocent crime patrol volunteer and then beats the victim on the ground. I am sure this wasn’t the first such incident. And equally to the point, had Trayvon lived, it wouldn’t have been the last.

George Zimmerman, knowingly or not, has performed a public service. With his gun, he became this generation’s Bernhard Goetz. The common denominator in the two cases? You guessed it. Reverend Al Sharpton. It was Sharpton who tried to railroad Goetz into prison by whipping up crowd hysteria. He almost succeeded. “The Rev” will try again with Zimmerman.

It’s not so much that trouble follows Sharpton. It’s that as a racial ambulance chaser, Sharpton follows trouble.

Seek on March 27, 2012 at 2:29 pm

Seek,

Agreed. But self-defense is a complete defense to a murder charge. An unscrupulous DA could give the public what it wants but he would never bring Martin back to his family. While the groupthink is the most nauseating aspect of this episode, no less repellent is the racial ambulance chasing led by Al Sharpton that has accompanied it.

Jarhead on March 27, 2012 at 2:37 pm

It’s happening already – the NPD neo-nazi mama’s are also using this disgusting tragic case – disgusting because of the Stand Your Ground law that is being abused to create outright chaos and anarchy in FL and elsewhere.

Watch this one: http://carolynyeager.net/heretics-hour-freedom-association-whites

NOTE her associate with (a) Southern CA lawyer – actually more than one.

Be very careful with this case, as you know the law is a badly worded law, and can be used in the future by the extreme right to attack any minority with impunity. And if Zimmerman is not properly challenged (as indeed without media intervention he would not have been) – then when the come to do this to the Jews in Fl, there would be precedent to kill with impunity.

Smoking marijuana – cussing like the bros – all this is not relevant. There is far much more at stake here Debbie and we need someone like you to keep your eyes on that.

Anna on March 27, 2012 at 2:38 pm

    Anna,

The “Stand Your Ground” law does NOT give a license to people to commit murder or engage in vigilante justice. That’s still illegal in FL and other states that have such laws. All it says is that if you have a legal right to be someplace – on a public street, your business, workplace, car or home – you have a right to defend yourself and you do not have a duty to retreat from the assailant before you can exercise it.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:44 pm

I think all of this is extremely revevant because it shows the character of the decedant which could prove Zimmerman’s case. Now I’d like to add how disgusting this is. I just flew into Altanta & was driving over by College Park. There are 2 black men dressed in suits passing out papers titled “Justice For Trayvon” I wish I could have engaged them in meaning ful conversation but I most likely would have been shot or beaten.

H: While I agree with you, but the legal standards are different. In general it’s nearly impossible to present character evidence at trial regarding the character of the victim if the victim isn’t testifying and the evidence is not evidence that the victim was violent at the time/place of the crime (which would make it not relevant). DS

Hollywood on March 27, 2012 at 2:45 pm

I should note the standard is even stricter in rape cases. The defendant may not bring up any evidence to impugn the victim’s morals or behavior even if its true. The victim should never be put on trial – a principle I’m in general agreement with but there are always exceptions to it like when the victim was violent or abusive and such evidence helps to substantiate for the defendant a credible self-defense claim.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 3:12 pm

I would like to see this story told without the slant of it sounding like Zimmerman, Neighborhood Watch volunteer, caught a glimpse of a young, black male donning a hoodie creeping through the neighborhood to hunt him down and shoot him in cold blood. I have never been involved in Neighborhood Watch, but just by the name, I assume that there are people who volunteer to sign up to do just that, watch their neighborhood and report any suspicious activity. After some period of time, I could envision someone being able to quickly assertain when something isn’t good in the ‘hood, or at least doesn’t fit. It would garner further inspection of the situation and that could include following that person to perhaps identify them. Trayvon had a legal right to be in that neighborhood even if he didn’t live there. If he didn’t like Zimmerman following him, he didn’t have the right to punch him in the face and then continue the attack once the perceived threat was neutralized. If I was in a strange location and had my hood up at night and someone was following me, I would have several options at hand, none of them would be blasting someone in the face because I didn’t like them following me. This case is over a month old and is playing out in typical fashion. Open up the book on both people, I heard even that Zimmerman was a registered Democrat… the nerve of some people

TS likes DS on March 27, 2012 at 2:45 pm

TS,

Yup – how inconvenient for those looking for a neo-Nazi or a right-wing troglodyte. Then there remains the fact Zimmerman is Hispanic not white. But what’s amazing is how many people rushed to conclusions. We learn more every day about this case and its not the simple black and white (pun intended) story that people make it out to be.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 2:50 pm

I think it’s time for Rich Lowery to resign from NR.

As to Romney, this was his statement 4 days ago:

“What happened to Trayvon Martin is a tragedy. There needs to be a thorough investigation that reassures the public that justice is carried out with impartiality and integrity. The shooting of Trayvon is a terrible tragedy, unnecessary, uncalled for and inexplicable at this point. What we’ve heard from the media reports suggest that it’s entirely appropriate for the district attorney to be looking into this and to have called a grand jury and find what the facts are. We hope that justice is done in this case as in all cases. But very tragic and our hearts go out to his family his loved ones his friends this shouldn’t have happened.”

As with everything Romney says, it’s carefully phrased and qualified. The Romney guys are very smart, no demands for Zimmerman’s arrest or anything so precipitous.

adam on March 27, 2012 at 3:05 pm

I said today I won’t vote for Etchy Sketchy Romney in November.

I can’t stand him and this statement of his shows he has no real principles whatsoever.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 3:07 pm

And obama THANKS you for your help… I however do NOT!

Alabama Pride on March 27, 2012 at 8:47 pm

If Zimmerman has a history of violence, then what we’ve got here are a couple of bad guys in a fight. Let’s face it, Trayvon Martin could hardly be considered a kid. He was anything but an angel. He was basically a full grown man with an obvious mean streak. I think everyone should just let this go and treat it like any other shooting.

adam on March 27, 2012 at 3:11 pm

A shooting that was ruled self-defense.

Morally and legally, there is no argument. All the rest is simply a lot of heat and noise which does more to obfuscate than to illuminate the issue at hand.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 3:16 pm

If Trayvon Martin had a father, would he look like Obama. . . .

salt1907 on March 27, 2012 at 3:14 pm

D. O’Nay: Trayvon was apparently 6′ 2″ tall, 160 pounds, a current or former football player. I doubt he’d be too worried about pedophiles in creepy cars.

adam on March 27, 2012 at 3:27 pm

Thanks Trayvon for proving Cosby right. I’ve read (and who knows what’s accurate at this point) that he was a middle-class suburban kid who lived in a gated community. If that’s the case, then what you have here is another black kid enamored with being “treal” thanks to all the crap out there like Jay-Z that glorifies this type of bullshit. And look where it got you Trayvon, way to go dude.

Hopewell on March 27, 2012 at 3:32 pm

PDMac since you claimed that you’ve been vilified by posting and sharing this story on you’re blog or website I assume, did a certain far-left organization monitored and spied on you’re website and forwarded to all left wing websites like what they’ve done to this blog in the past on a few occasions?

I’ve posted and linked a “Trayvon Martin” story on my facebook wall-page earlier on today, and so far I haven’t been bombarded with hate-filled comments against myself because I dared posted and linked the whole facts about this story.

And I must’ve missed dumbass Charly’s ignorant comment of him demagoguging and playing the race-card yet again, I guess Debbie has had enough of his stupidity, demagoguery, idiocy, etc. that she had to erase his demagoguery-esque comment. Debbie if that were the case, you did the right thing girlfriend, you see Charly’s ilk of white-liberals have been using and propagandizing black people like myself since the 1960s in order to vote Democrat, support the welfare state, love big government/centralized government, etc. Charly, you’re far-left ilk of unhinged misfits don’t fool me one bit, I know you’re types Charly and I’m doing everything I can to get the hell away from dumbass morons of you’re crazy ilk!

I’m pretty much over all this race debate bullshit. The bottom line is the little puke tried to pull his tough guy gangsta’ shit with the wrong person and got smoked…end of story. Judging by his record, his tweets, and his other nefarious behavior (which I’m sure will get suppressed), if Zimmerman hadn’t done it somebody else would have. It’s the lifestyle he aspired to so he reaped it’s ugly rewards.

It’s about time Sharpton, Jackson, the “New” old Black Panthers and the rest made like old dog shit and just dry up and blow away. Let’s not forget the grieving mom who’s as shallow as the gene pool her offspring came from…didn’t take her long to jump on the cash cow bandwagon to trademark all the bleeding heart crap thats come from this? Wow…where does she find the time to grieve?

To parody Sean R…” A nation is defined by the character of the people who have the balls to stand up and defend it!” Time to quit bowing down to these social malcontents.

There is nothign wrong with the Stand Your Ground Law. Its one of the best things about Florida, next to the weather and the beaches. It makes law abbiding citizens feel safer and no one seems to complain except the ones who are prone to commit violence.

Pavel on March 27, 2012 at 4:41 pm

Debbie, you state:

“I know I’ll be pilloried by the left and plenty of jealous faux-conservatives for saying this, but with his criminal record and vile filth, it’s becoming more and more apparent that George Zimmerman may have unintentionally performed a service to the world. How many more crime victims and sufferers of his violence would the world endure from this thug had he lived?”

You say that only faux-conservatives would find disagreement in some of what you say. But most conservatives are also Christian. Only faux-Christians would be excited by your outright devaluation of this kid as if he’s beyond redemption. There was a time in my life when I did and said horrible things. Thanks to Jesus for his grace and mercy, for He rescued me from myself. I doubt that a Holy God would echo your sentiments regarding the value of this boy’s life, Debbie. And, as far as I know, there is no evidence of a violent life. Only horribly demeaning comments to and about women.

P.S. I’m about as Conservative as they come.

David C. on March 27, 2012 at 5:19 pm

David C., I am Christian myself and your post reminded me of a holy roller (I am not saying that dismissively or condescendingly BTW) I knew who was always telling me that I was too prideful and if I had opened my heart a bit more I would not feel the way I do sometimes (I judge pretty harshly…but I feel we have to judge to keep our standards and character straight).

And he is prolly more correct than me but I will tell you, I have NEVER changed that way. I do not want to change that way too. It makes me angry that people would think I would have to change my heart when I am judging someone who doesn’t seem to have one. No matter how much he tried and I tried, the change and feeling never came to me.

I like to think that is because I am more correct but if not I will take my lumps if God judges me on it, and rightfully so.

But really, if I were to think as you do I feel as if I would be giving up caution to be a fool. I tried it for 1 year in 2004 and I did end up being the fool. I knew that I had to give it up again and am glad I did. I like the cautious me waaaaay better than what you described.

Plus DS is NOT Christian. Jews have the luxury NOT to turn the other cheek. I prefer the Jewish way and if I could I would have converted by now, too sweet!

Sorry, I think peeps are setting themselves up as dupes when they spew that nonsense. I remember after that moron Paris Hilton went to jail that Dennis Prager held out hope that the punishment would change her. I knew it wouldn’t and thought he was a damn fool for thinking such horsesh**. And I was correct and he, who is so much smarter than me, was the fool!

Thank goodness we have DS. She has the smarts and cohones to tell us the truth and not be so cutesy and sidestep the PC landmines. I heard Rush avoiding the landmines today and other so-called Conservatives. We will never beat the shameless and dirty Liberals with this sad lot of weak babies. I happen to agree with DS on this issue. I am also so sick to see how the Obama-media is playing this out.

C’mon! Open your eyes. Releasing ONLY pics of him when he looked angelic and cute so many years back. Trying to hide the stories of his pot is his backpack and his issue with the bus-driver/suspension. And now these filthy tweets. Sorry, I agree with DS. And even thou’ I purposely avoided this story (before the truth started leaking out) I was hearing bits and pieces and let me tell you…with the pictures of him at like 12 and 13 (when he was really 16 and 6 ft 3) and having candy on him and the neighbourhood watchman supposedly aggressive and overzealous I did NOT feel like Zimerman was innocent…but I did keep wondering WHY he was not arrested or charged with a crime or why the Police were not speaking out to clarify! Now I know the whole story was a fraud! Figures!

Seek, thanks for bringing up Goetz. I remember that poor guy and even back then as Liberal as I was I was NEVER against BG. I could never understand why people were so against him and it always ticked me off! Thank the Lord there was always something in me that made me NOT fall for the worst of the Liberal PC memes (like Goetz, annoying women and how I never fell for the “Palestinian” fairy-tale).

IceNoMore I enjoyed your post too. People are sickening me these days.

Read “Columbine” by Dave Cullen. I was not so much interested in the atrocity that day as I was how much the the media reported that was NOT true. That’s what shocked me about the book. What we thought we knew from the media reports was NOT the truth. I also knew one of the freaks was a sociopath and I was interested in the sociopath angle. Remember, that happened in 1999 and it shows how long the lying media has been not doing their job!!!

Skunky on March 27, 2012 at 5:46 pm

Welcome back Jon Grant!

I also want to point out that I believe that “Obama’s son” would tweet filth like that because I know someone who works as a therapist and when they deal with young urban kids (mostly single mums and no bio dad involved) some of them have sex as early as 12 and those same 12 year old girls have group sex as well. That is what happens when you have boys without a stable home and a dad figure. And the silly 12 year olds who act out because their bio dads are not involved. It is very sickening and NOT good for the girls or the boys. It’s disgusting!!!

Patrick AKA DetroitRight on twitter on March 27, 2012 at 7:00 pm

I have refrained from commenting on this issue – both on this site and in general – but allow me to take a stab at it. First: self-defense goes both ways. So does profiling.

Trayvon Martin met the profile of a criminal because of his race, sex and age. But because of his actions – chasing down a young man in his car in the middle of the night – George Zimmerman did also. Martin had every reason to believe that Zimmerman was a criminal that intended him harm, and had the right to react accordingly. There is no reason to speculate as to Martin’s beliefs concerning Zimmerman. Because of the cell phone transcripts of the final conversation between Martin and his girlfriend, we KNOW that Martin thought that Zimmerman was a criminal chasing him.

Second: personal responsibility applies also. The 911 operator told Zimmerman not to pursue Martin precisely because of situations like this. It is not only because of the possibility that Martin was a violent criminal who would harm Zimmerman. It was also because of the possibility that Martin would mistake Zimmerman for being the criminal and react accordingly. Zimmerman is not a police officer and had no business trying to act like one. The conservative Florida politicians who wrote the “Stand Your Ground” law have stated that Zimmerman’s doing so preclude his being able to use that law in his defense, because there is evidence – again the cell phone transcript – that his actions caused Martin to view Zimmerman as the criminal and himself as a crime victim.

Third: you want to bring up Bernhard Goetz? Fine. I will counter with Amadou Diallo. For the uninitiated, four NYPD officers on a plainclothed special unit searching for a serial rapist confronted Diallo in the middle of the night in Diallo’s high-crime neighborhood. Because they were not in uniform and because of the high crime neighborhood, Diallo came to a reasonable conclusion – this was a gang of criminals intending to rob him or worse – and made the logical reaction – to try to run away. Unfortunately, his flight CONFIRMED the suspicions of NYPD that Diallo was either the rapist or some other criminal so they chased him. Diallo ran back to his apartment, but was too panicked to open the locked door. When the PLAINCLOTHED police officers caught up with him, he reached into his pockets, turned around and pointed his hand in the direction of the 4 men chasing him. Believing it to be a gun, the police officers shot him dead. But it was not a gun. It was Diallo’s wallet and beeper that he offered to the 4 men that he believed were criminals trying to victimize them, hoping that they would be appeased by the money and do him no further harm.

The NYPD unit was heavily criticized before this incident precisely because of the possibility that an innocent person might mistake the plainclothes police officers as criminals. As a matter of fact, no black NYPD officer would join the unit precisely because they feared being mistaken as a criminal by another NYPD officer and getting shot as a result. After this incident confirmed the fears of the critics, NYPD ended the extremely dangerous policy of having plainclothes officers confront people in high-crime areas in the middle of the night and began requiring members of the unit instead. And it wasn’t just dangerous for private citizens. The police careers of those 4 officers were ruined. And imagine if Diallo himself had been armed, a legal gun owner? This goes back to Zimmerman: imagine if Martin had owned a gun, or a Swiss Army knife?

Zimmerman acted in a reckless fashion that would have caused any reasonable person to conclude that he was being pursued by a criminal, and did so despite being told not to by the 911 operators. And his confronting Martin in that manner means that Zimmerman cannot use “Stand Your Ground” as a defense at all, and it makes his “self-defense” argument very difficult to sustain also. Because of Zimmerman’s reckless behavior – which resulted in the death of a human being that no one can prove was involved in criminal activity when Zimmerman confronted him – the guy is certain to get AT LEAST an involuntary manslaughter conviction and 10 years in prison as a result. And while you can raise Martin’s unsavory past and the racial/political agendas of Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton/Barack Obama and the other activists to generate all the fascinating political discussions that you choose, in a court of law none of that is going to matter.

It should be noted that Trayvon Martin’s mother stated that all she wanted was for a trial to occur. That is a very reasonable expectation, and all of you would want the same had some “neighborhood watch captain” gunned down your own child. Martin’s parents went to the media – and to activists like Sharpton – only because the very suspicious actions of the Sanford Police Department, who immediately declared it to be a “self-defense/Stand Your Ground” case but refused to release the 911 tapes and apologized to Martin’s parents over the “tragedy” in hopes of mollifying them. Excuse me, but since when do police apologize to the parents of an assailant killed by someone defending himself from the assailant? And since when is a guy defending himself “a tragedy”? There were other accusations that the Sanford Police got eyewitnesses to change their stories. So as much as you might dislike this case becoming an international race controversy, it never would have happened had the Sanford Police Department acted appropriately.

I do say this without reservation, because the very conservative Florida attorney general – as well as the no nonsense types who run the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (and I know what I am talking about, because I lived in Florida for 8 years) took about 10 minutes before declaring the local law enforcement actions to be completely inadequate and unprofessional, launched their own investigation, and set a grand jury date for April 10 at which time Zimmerman will certainly be indicted. And no, they did not do this in response to pressure, but before this blew up into a national controversy.

Trayvon Martin is dead, George Zimmerman is going to go to jail for a long time for it, and none of this would have happened had Zimmerman simply heeded the instructions of the 911 dispatcher not to chase Zimmerman. He brought it on himself, and will have to suffer the consequences. Rather than being some conservative hero, Zimmerman’s reckless actions will be used by the left to challenge gun rights and Stand Your Ground.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 7:05 pm

Gerald, Zimmerman is NOT going away for a long time. This happened a month ago and when (by just hearing periphery reports) the media was pushing a bunch or um-gala-gala crap that made it SEEM as if GZ was a hot-head looking to gun down somebody GZ was not taken into custody or the authorities near where this happened even trying to CLARIFY what the hell REALLY happened.

Then Monday came and trickle, trickle, trickle…all this slow truth came out and all the sudden a cute, 13 year old innocent skittles and candy eater is a 17 year old 6ft 3 thug who beats his bus driver and sends out filthy tweets.

The truth is just starting to get out there but for the mind-numbing din of lots of REAL racists calling for “justice” just because GZ is not black. If he were black they would not give a sh**. Puh-leeze.

We’ll get the truth someway, but no thanks to the race pimps, minority racists and the “white guilt” crowd oh-so-eager to prove they ain’t raaaaaaaacist.

And it sounds to me like Diallo had more in common WITH Goetz than Martin. Again, you use an example that is not exactly akin to the comparison you used.

We’ll find out the truth but it’s hard when a bunch of loud-mouth know-nothings are acting all in high dudgeon (and still spreading the lies) when you know they are just trying to stir up a race war…a race war Obama-Putin believes in heart and soul. Didn’t a store get destroyed today? Yeah, that is REAL “justice”. Sounds like an excuse for hooliganism. Most of those frauds don’t care about anyone BUT themselves to get outraged. Everyone has to get theirs.

And I am tired of the “Black Panthers” not being tied in with the Nation of Islam in regard to this mess.

Skunky on March 27, 2012 at 8:37 pm

      Skunky:

I am sorry. I was following this case before it became a national media story. And I also used to live in Florida. The Florida attorney’s general doesn’t play games, and neither does the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Both have already stated that the Sanford Police Department did a terrible job and that they are conducting their own investigation. The former announced a grand jury the very day that Martin’s terrified phone call to his girlfriend came out.

And sorry, the Diallo and Martin cases are the same. Both Diallo and Martin incorrectly perceived themselves to be crime victims based on the information available to them. You would have to take the ridiculous position that a black person has no cause to fear being victimized by anyone but a nonblack to deny this. You would also have to deny the cell phone call transcript. Or you would have to take the position that Martin should have been passive when confronted by a criminal (which he felt that Zimmerman was). That he should have had the attitude “Oh well, since blacks commit most crimes against nonblacks, I am just going to stand here, allow this guy who just chased me down in his car in the middle of the night to do whatever he wants to me and even the score”. Is that what you are thinking? Seriously? If not, what else can possibly justify letting some guy chase you down in the middle of the night without reacting, especially when your initial reaction – running away terrified – does not work?

Zimmerman was not wearing a uniform, not even the uniform of a security guard. He had no markings on his car. In his own story, he didn’t even identify himself as neighborhood watch. “Hello, I am neighborhood watch” should have been the first thing out of his mouth. Instead, Zimmerman acted like a tough guy on the verge of meting out punishment to Martin for being in his neighborhood. And since folks are so quick to point out that Zimmerman his Hispanic and not white, Hispanics beat up and rob (and worse) blacks for entering their “barrios” all the time. There are plenty of Hispanic neighborhoods that blacks don’t enter.

Sorry, Skunky, but until SOMEBODY acknowledges Martin’s terrified “there’s a strange man following me” call to his girlfriend, I am just going to write them off as someone that is totally uninterested in the facts of this case and is only lining up in the predictable left wing/right wing black/white camps in this case.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 9:23 pm

No Gerald, NO WHERE did I state that I think Blacks only have to fear Blacks in crime. You saying that shows your desperation and I happen not to look at crime in an identity politics way. I look for the RIGHT and WRONG and not the colour, I don’t believe in hate crimes….all crimes, especially heinous ones, should be based on what was done to the victim NOT this bullsh** “hate crimes” crap. That’s PC garbage!

Secondly, where did YOU get your reliable info on this case because until MONDAY the media and the meme was that this was a 13 year old innocent going to the store fr candy and that Zimmerman was over zealous and wanted to shoot someone very badly. I actually believed that meme and it was making me angry!!

All the crap you believe should have been dropped on Monday when the REAL truth started to come out. Why did the family (and media) use old photos of a child to depict Martin? Big difference between 13 and 17. And when you see the old ones and what he looked like at 6ft 3 one KNOWS why the family used those erroneous photos!

I don’t like the lying Obama-Media…THAT is what I am angry about and to say Martin is akin to Diallo is really pushing it and a disgrace. I happen to believe at times the police can be overzealous and mess up and it seems that happened to Diallo and NOT what happened to Martin.

Skunky on March 27, 2012 at 10:26 pm

So… FL’s Attorney General gave in to mob pressure, is seeking an indictment and if it gets to trial Zimmerman will probably go to prison because every one thinks he’s guilty. That’s not conservatism in my book. That’s pandering to the basest form of prejudice. And with the media climate like it is, Zimmerman is not going to get a fair trial in FL or any where else in this country. Plus, juries are typically composed of slacker morons. But all this is sadly predictable.

You are so wrongon so many levels that it would take all night to bring you back to reality and I really do not know you well enough to care what you thinkor try to teach the FACTS of the case.

ONE thing that makes me mad is that doofus’ keep saying the police told ZIMMERMAN not to follow…well a MERE 911 operator ADVISED him not to do that. IN FLORIDA A 911 operator cannot legally tell you what or what NOT to do.ANd believe you me MANY a 911 operator has been fired or put on suspension for trying to ORDER a citizen to do or NOT do something.

I know BECAUSE I am a retired emergency dispatcher for a LARGE dept. in Florida. SO stop spreading THAT STUPID COMMENT LIKE IT WAS GOSPEL.

Alabama Pride on March 27, 2012 at 9:06 pm

Oh well. Both of my comments went towards the middle, rather than at the bottom. I will summarize them with two things:

1. Trayvon Martin had self-defense rights (and other constitutionally protected liberties) too.
2. Rather than being a case of Bernhard Goetz, it is actually more like the case of Amadou Diallo. In both instances, a fellow who “fit the profile of a criminal” and suspected of being a possible criminal because of it mistook the “profiler” – or chasing him to be criminals instead and acted accordingly. And in both cases the guy mistaken for being a criminal wound up shot dead.

No one in the media is disclosing this. That would be blaming the victim and you know, they decided Martin is innocent because of his race. Nothing else. They need to appease the race merchants face so Zimmerman is going to be their human sacrifice. Like I said earlier, who is right and who is wrong doesn’t matter. People have already made up their minds, like Gerald here and the media pressitudes as well as the Left and faux conservative opinion leaders.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 8:51 pm

Oh yes, “When they come for the Jews…,” Anna. Well, I’m a Jew and I’m not buying that BS. I am a free thinking traditionalist, student of Western Civilization, highly educated, and have an extensive background in law enforcement.

Zimmerman had every right to follow that thug, yes thug, and observe what he was doing in the neighborhood. There is at least one eye witness who saw thug on top of Zimmerman and beating him in the face. Then the shot was fired in self defense. The abrasions and broken nose on Zimmerman also backs his version of events.

ex mossad on March 27, 2012 at 8:11 pm

IceNoMore (and everyone else ridiculously claiming that Martin was playing tough guy gangsta):

So, if a black man chases you down with his car in the middle of the night and confronts you, how would YOU respond?

Would you A) run away? Sorry. Martin tried that. Zimmerman chased him down. Martin was on foot.

Would you B) make small talk about the weather and sports and ask him how is day is going? Yeah. Try that and see how it works out for you.

Would you C) get him before he gets you?

I am awaiting to see your response. And please, do not lie. Even if Martin was a bad kid, Zimmerman put him in a bad situation.

P.S. Regarding the “hoodie” issue, what do whites and other nonblacks wear when it is chilly and raining outside? (Then again, I have seen PLENTY of whites, Asians etc. of both sexes and all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds wearing hoodies, so the question is on its face ridiculous. BUT I do want to see someone assert the idea that a teenage black male is obligated to expose himself to pneumonia so as not to be viewed as a likely criminal.)

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 8:12 pm

Pneumonia???What the heck!IN central Florida in February. OH please.

Those hoodies are worn by criminals when it is 70 degrees outside OR hotter…they even have them in vented nylon for the Summer.

It is a garment! It is the jerk underneath some of them that is the problem.

Alabama Pride on March 27, 2012 at 9:16 pm

      @Alabama Pride:

A Crimson Tide fan eh? Well Go Georgia Tech Yellowjackets!

Seriously Alabama Pride, it was at midnight night and raining on February 26. Even if it was 70 degrees as you claim, the fact that it was raining justifies the hoodie.

Further, no, Zimmerman was not obligated to heed the suggestion of the 911 operator. But those suggestions exist for a reason. Because Zimmerman did not follow those operations, he caused Martin to believe that Zimmerman was a criminal, a fact that is confirmed by the cell phone call transcript to his girlfriend that no one wishes to acknowledge. Also, his doing so makes “Stand Your Ground” and self-defense arguments untenable.

Sorry fellas, but Martin didn’t do anything that you guys wouldn’t have done were it some big male chasing one of you down in the middle of the night. The whole lot of you support gun rights precisely for situations like this, and would have shot such a black male down with your NRA registered gun and not have a second thought about it.

You are free to keep advancing the argument that Martin didn’t think that Zimmerman was a criminal if you want, but the jury who tries Zimmerman is going to have to do what you guys won’t, which is consider the cell phone transcript. The prosecution might even put Martin’s girlfriend on the stand. When they do, Zimmerman’s defense attorney won’t raise Martin’s Twitter account as part of the cross examination.

Again, I was following this case before almost any of you were, and was wondering what was taking Ms. Schlussel so long to weigh in on it. I never believed that Zimmerman shot Martin because Martin was black. I always knew that a fight between Zimmerman and Martin took place, and the Sanford police used that fight as a reason to accept Zimmerman’s self-defense story. But I also knew that the police apologized to the parents of Martin, which IS NOT common procedure for people who get killed as a result of assaulting someone. You go show me an instance where the police apologize to the person that gets killed in a self-defense case.

Sorry guys. There are a ton of bad facts here for Zimmerman, and he is going to go to jail as a result. He brought his on himself when he chose to play hero instead of letting the police do their jobs.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 9:45 pm

    Gerald….here’s your reply:

I’ve been following the dialogue between you and several others who post on this site and the bottom line is that you’re stuck in this libtard limbo of “the poor homey was wronged”, et al. I retired after almost 30 years of dealing with shitballs like your deceased little ruffian; if ANY man, black yellow, red, brown, polka dot, pulls up behind me in a car in the dark of night my first instinct is to wonder what the f**k they want….I’m not going to talk about the weather, sports, yada yada. I’m going to get to the bottom of what business they think they may have with me and, if they pass the test, I may entertain them. If I smell BS, I’ll tell them to move on. If I think they’re even contemplating doing something stupid they’ll be puffing on the barrel of my .45 because I’ve dealt with a-holes for too long and I don’t have the time or patience for it anymore. Yeah, I pack because there’s an overabundance of “poor, misguided, gee my mom didn’t love me when I was a kid” fucksticks looking to do something criminal. Don’t be stupid pal…ya’ can’t fix stupid.

Regarding the hoodie comment….I made no reference, direct or indirect, to hoodies but, while we’re on the topic, was it raining and cold that night? Gee, we wouldn’t want junior to get pneumonia but, like, he doesn’t have another jacket or raincoat?

You’re a moron. Zimmerman was defending himself from a gold-grilled self-styled gangsta. He had a broken nose. How did he get that? Walking into a wall? No, the black thug gave it to him.

Now there’s a reason why “white” people should be wary of blacks. Blacks commit the most crimes of any minority. They commit the most crimes against “white” people. Eric “My People” Holder don’t see black racism as a problem. Guess what? White people are tired of supporting lazy, shiftless black thugs, who are ungrateful for all the opportunities they can take advantage of, especially because of affirmative action. The days of blaming “whitey” for their failed lives are over. If those people didn’t walk around in gangsta uniforms, talking trash, being uncivilized barbarians, then they wouldn’t be considered suspicious. But the insist upon it and therefore they are. It’s because of the black urban areas that whites life in the suburbs where its much safer. It’s because of black urban areas that working people have long commutes to get to their jobs. Black thugs have drained our resources, and now they are going for total control. Well, they are in for a huge fight. We’ll not submit any more!

FrenchKiss on March 27, 2012 at 8:25 pm

Sorry FrenchKiss. Your rant consisting of your irrelevant racial grievances does not change the FACT that Trayvon Martin believed himself to be defending himself from a criminal. We know this FACT because of Trayvon Martin’s phone call to his girlfriend, for which exists a transcript. You are ignoring this for the same reason that Martin’s “supporters” are ignoring that Zimmerman is white and not Hispanic – because it does not fit your race narrative or your preconceived agenda. That makes you no better than they are.

Zimmerman forfeited his self-defense claim when he exited his car. And despite what you folks choose to believe, even if Martin had a violent criminal history, he still had constitutional rights. He had them because Zimmerman did not interrupt Martin while he was committing a crime. That is why Martin’s problems at school and cursing on Twitter won’t be considered in a criminal proceeding. (Meanwhile, Zimmerman’s prior arrests will be.)

No matter how much you want to make this into a racial battle for “your side” this is going to be a legal case, the result of which will be Zimmerman getting convicted of involuntary manslaughter by a mostly white Seminole County jury.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 8:58 pm

Your white Seminole County jury will be pressured to reach a politically correct verdict – Zimmerman is guilty, like every one expects. But because the media will say its a “white jury” if they reach any other verdict, they’ll be trashed and the media and the politicians will then call for a federal trial. That’s just the way things work in reversed racism cases. The original multi-racial Los Angeles jury that heard the Rodney King case, they acquitted the LAPD officers on the facts of the law, not on what people saw in the now famous video tape. The media rushed to declare a ruling by a mostly white jury “racist” (of course) and howled for the officers’ blood. The case was tried again on specious civil rights grounds in federal court, the officers were convicted and went to prison. A black thug has immunity. Sad to say, the same thing is going to happen here. People are not looking for the truth.

That’s the reason I don’t expect it to result in justice.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 9:17 pm

Where’s the media Gerald? You havent heard of these recent cases have you Gerald? No, its all about how the poor innocent black man is the victim of white racism. Riiiight.

test on March 27, 2012 at 8:33 pm

    test:

I hate to break it to you, but the conservative Republican state attorney general of Florida announced that this case was going to a grand jury on April 10, and did so long before this became a national media story. The grand jury will vote to indict Zimmerman, and when they do, race will not be a consideration. Zimmerman will be tried by a jury of his peers, and they will have no choice but to return an involuntary manslaughter conviction, because you cannot provoke a confrontation with someone, kill someone during that confrontation, and then claim self-defense. The legislators who wrote “Stand Your Ground” have already stated that such was not the intent of the law.

So go on the BET.com or BlackVoices.AOL.com message boards if you are trolling for racial arguments, but I am not interested in obliging you. But if you want to discuss the LEGAL arguments, to somehow make the case that it is perfectly fine to cause someone to mistake you for being a criminal, to attack you out of the belief that he is defending himself, and then shoot that person, go ahead. I just hope that no one ever chases you down in their car in the middle of the night and thereby puts you in the same situation that Zimmerman put Martin in.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 8:45 pm

Its now a national media story. Zimmerman won’t get a fair trial in this country. Even if he brings up his self defense claim no one is interested in hearing his side of the story. The politicians are whores, they want to look popular and avoid being accused of racism and very little what they do of has anything to do with the rule of law, justice or the truth. It has do with popular passions of the moment. And when most people have made up their minds, you’re not going to get justice. Just ask the LAPD officers convicted by a federal court of using reasonable force to subdue Rodney King. Its all about race and when its black vs. white, nowadays reverse racism comes into play. Your post about what’s really going in FL is a good example of it.

NormanF on March 27, 2012 at 9:00 pm

Couldn’t agree more, Debbie. this kid was a menace to society and his parents were the chief culprits. I’ve been saying from the beginning that if the cops had a warrant to search the dads house, they’d find lots of stolen things from the neighborhood. P.c. is so wrong. The very phonies trying to whip up the masses are actually THE ones responsible for the kids in this failing culture breaking the prison system with their sheer numbers. Job well done, jerks. Lots of Spike Lee morons out there trying to cash in. Mom and dad of the year will profit from this. Unfortunately some innocent white people will be fatalities of the mobs wanting “justice”. Like the 13 yr old white kid set on fire (after a beating) by the two 16 year old black thugs in KC mo. No outrage for that bit of scumbaggery.

Patriot on March 27, 2012 at 9:20 pm

    @Patriot:

I read the link. Like this blog and a bunch of other stuff being aired by conservatives, it has nothing to do with the facts of this case, which is that Martin thought that Zimmerman attempting to victimize him and acted accordingly.

How do “patriots” such as yourself react when criminals confront you? Whimper and cry for help like the metrosexual men in the movies that Schlussel reviews? Guys, even Zimmerman stated that Martin initially ran away. Martin obviously was not looking for a confrontation, but did everything possible to avoid one. These are facts that the jury is going to consider, no matter what you choose to believe.

Several hours since I first mentioned the cell phone call transcript and no one has acknowledged it. Still waiting.

Gerald on March 27, 2012 at 9:59 pm

It may not matter what was said in a confrontation. The only thing that counts is when Martin started assaulting Zimmerman, is whether Zimmerman was entitled to use force to stop the assault. If he was, there is no grounds even for manslaughter. Self defense is a complete defense to any murder or manslaughter charge.
