Four Shot Dead @ Jewish School in France: Guess the Religion

By Debbie Schlussel

There is only one set of people who threaten the Jews–and everyone else–in modern day France (and the rest of the West, for that matter):  Muslims.  So, take a guess about who was behind the shooting murder of four Jews, including children, at a Jewish school in France today.

Survivors of the Toulouse Shooting @ Ozar HaTorah School

Was it a Catholic?  Was it a Protestant?  How about a Hindu?  If you guess anything but Muslim, you haven’t been paying attention to what’s been going on in France.  I have.  In fact, long before all of the also-ran rip-off artists, I asked back in 2002, “Will America Become La Prochaine [The Next] France?”  With Muslims making up 25-33% of the current French population (no one knows for sure), it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a Muslim nation.  If you think that can’t happen to America, your head is firmly planted in the sand.  I think we all know who was on that motorcycle with the goal to murder Jews.  It’s the same religion and heritage that targeted and murdered Ilan Halimi (Of Blessed Memory), torturing the young man with cigarette burns and amputations of his fingers.  Arab Muslims.  Yes, it’s a good bet that the murderer today was not Frere Jacques, but Frere Mohammed.

Don’t worry though–the French authorities are already blaming “a right-wing gunman,” though they have zero idea who it is. I wouldn’t bet on a “right-wing” anything in this. The track record in France is that Muslims do these things. Even if, this time, it’s not a Muslim, you can bet the Muslims are cheering that they’ve found someone else to do their dirty work. They aren’t sad in the least that four Jews were wiped out today. Larmes De La Crocodile [crocodile tears].

French police stepped up the search for a killer moped-rider with a tattooed face after four people were shot down and killed outside a Jewish school in Toulouse this morning.

A 30-year-old man and his two young sons, aged six and three, were among the dead along with the headteacher’s eight-year old daughter. . . .

Police fear the latest shooting, which took place outside the Ozar Hatorah school, shows that a far right wing gunman is on the loose with a grudge against ethnic minorities. . . .

This afternoon, the victims were named as Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, his two sons Aryeh and Gavriel, and eight-year-old Miriam Monsonego – daughter of the school’s headteacher, Yaacov Monsonego.

The city immediately went into lockdown as tactical armed police units searched for the murderer, who was believed to be driving a Yamaha T-Max.

Say a prayer for the victims who were murdered today on Toulouse and their grieving families.

Gotta love the French. Yeah, since the same gun was used to shoot an off duty French soldier & 2 French paratroops, in addition to this most recent incident, it MUST’VE been some “right-winger.” Yes, folks, a Frech right-winger is shooting up French troops.

Gimme a freaking break!

Con Chef (NB) on March 19, 2012 at 12:17 pm

A French patriot shooting French troops AND Jews?

Yeah, sure. Goes to show people will believe anything they’re told after.

After all, the Religion Of Peace is absolutely pacifistic and benevolent. BS!

At any rate, we’ll eventually find out the identity of the shooter.

And there’s a lesson here for European Jews that no amount of hatred of them and murders of Jewish adults and children seem to get through to them: Europe is no longer safe for Jews.

That said, let’s hope they reconsider and make aliyah to Israel and my thoughts and prayers go to the victims and their families.

NormanF on March 19, 2012 at 12:34 pm

The killer is NOT muslim !

They found that he might the same one as the one that killed the French soldiers, that were

2 French muslims soldiers from North American origin (R.I.P)
1 French black slodier from Carribean origin (R.I.P)

and now the killing of 4 French jews from Israel (R.I.P)

Before accusing some kind of people and ask irronicaly
” Guess the religion ” , try to get more informations before and promote ” LIVING TOGETHER ” :))

A French Jew living in Israel.

How are so sure the attacker is not a Muslim?

We don’t know anything about or his motives yet.Of course, Debbie was based on what we call a statistical analysis.

And if you think Muslims love you so much, I suggest you to leave France and move to a muslim country. You’ll learn a lot about peace and tolerance there.

You’re lucky you weren’t his target. In a way, I feel sad for you. Better it had been you than those four people laid to rest in Jerusalem today. The point being some Jews are still very much in denial.

If being a Jew means anything at all to you, it should.

Debbie, please. Why do you do this? Why do you waste your education and beauty and humanity on spreading hateful stories that you cannot corroborate? French authorities have confirmed that the gun used to kill these innocent people at the Jewish school was THE SAME gun that killed French troops of North African descent. Why, oh why, must you constantly pit Muslims vs. Jews, when it appears that individuals from both of these religions were targeted by a murderer?

Please, Debbie, I am begging you. Please stop fueling the fire with your hate.

mags on March 19, 2012 at 1:23 pm

    Debbie’s point was twofold:

    1) Muslims are the most likely murderers, having long ago established a consistent pattern of such behavior in the Middle East and elsewhere.

    2) Even if the guilty ones here were something other than Muslim, you can bet you last Euro that Muslims everywhere are celebrating.

Either way, the true nature of the “religion of peace” will rear its head. That’s a guarantee.

After all, the stated goal of Islam is to spread their shariah law throughout the world!!!

Dave on March 20, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Mags, have you been paying close attention to what’s really going on in todays world? Question, who’s responsible for all of the atrocious terrorist acts worldwide? Answer muslims, and that’s NOT spreading hate, that’s spreading the facts you fool.

Question, which group of people commit these vile and heinous acts, ie, honor killings, stoning women to death, female mutilations, etc. Answer, muslims, that’s who, these are once again PROVEN FACTS! And did you hear the news back 6 years ago when muslims across Paris, France vandelizied properties and burned down automobiles, due to domestic policies in France!

Lookit, if Debbie was making up stories to push her agenda, a) just about all of us wouldn’t comment here and not take the woman seriously, b) if the woman was making up stories, don’t you believe she would’ve been sued for libel/defamation (and DS has NEVER been sued for defamation in her life), and c) if she’s making up stuff, then explain to me why alot of bloggers, pundits, talk show hosts, etc. have stole her work, plagarized off of her and never gave the lady any credit for originally bringing the stories to the table! Worry01 on March 19, 2012 at 5:57 pm

Hate? What hate? Facts are stubborn things. Again the suspect French police have under siege as we speak, his identity is better known now than the odds of winning the lottery. Now its hate only if its just pure conjecture. Today, its even more than that. Calling a spade a spade doesn’t change the nature of the spade. The same is true with Islam. All the toxic Jew hatred comes from it and hey when Jews are targeted by its adherents, its not exactly rocket science. Its straight cause and effect. Occam’s Razor allows us to posit a simple rule: if X did this in the past, X will be likely to do it again in the future. In Jewish logic, its also a kal va homer argument. And its indisputable. The enemy of Jews today is Islam.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 8:38 am

“French police stepped up the search for a killer moped-rider with a tattooed face……..” A tattooed face? Is this something a muslim would do? Never seen that before. Just askin.

Duck on March 19, 2012 at 1:23 pm

The fact that the targets of last week’s shootings were “minorities” have led some to suggest it might have been someone affiliated with the National Front because they’re “anti-immigrant”. (Never mind that the Jews have been there for centuries.) But I’m not convinced.

It shouldn’t be assumed the killer recognized the soldiers’ “minority” or even Muslim heritage, and even if he did if the killer was Muslim he could have deemed them “traitors” for fighting on behalf of an “infidel” army. Moreover, it’s now reported that letters were received by two synagogues in Paris warning them to “prepare for hell” because they were the “party of Satan” – which is terminology used by Islamists. (This report comes from the Times of Israel.)

The victims will be buried in Israel. May their memories be for a blessing.

Raymond in DC on March 19, 2012 at 1:24 pm

Yup, they’ll be buried Wednesday. Its just mind-numbing, especially what happened to the children! I know our lives are in the hands of G-d but no one thinks of their last moments on earth like this! The next time people tell me anti-Semitism is just words, I’ll ask them if they knew Rabbi Sandler and his beautiful children. And the schoolteacher Miriam. They put a human face on the toxic hatred that exists for Jews and when that is expressed, the consequences are catastrophic. We keep hearing a lot about Islamophobia. Well what happened on Monday, that trumps anything Muslims have ever experienced. No one in history has been on the receiving end of visceral hatred like the Jewish people. And sad to say, the four people brutally murdered Monday for the crime of being Jews, they won’t be the last Jews anti-Semites seek to kill. Every time I ask myself if the world has learned the lessons from the Shoah. The answer is quite clear.

NormanF on March 20, 2012 at 11:42 pm

Yohav should try his ‘living together’ w/ Muslims by moving to Ramallah or Qalqiliya and seeing how well it works out. I imagine it would be not a long drive away from wherever in Israel he lives.

In the meantime, a suberb in Berlin is tense after a mob of Turks attempted to kill a native German, and one of them was stabbed to death by him in self-defense. One more of those ‘live together’ social experiments which the Euro-polypragnomists have imposed on their societies for 50 years and more.

Infidel on March 19, 2012 at 1:25 pm

    DS,

What is your source for saying 25-33% of the French population is Muslim? All the other sources I can find say 5-10%.

    d williams on March 19, 2012 at 2:15 pm

Actually, it was a mob of Turks and Arabs. The common denominator is Islam.

The man in question could do nothing else to stop them. You can take the barbarians out of Greater Barbaria but don’t expect them to civilize or moderate their habits. You can see how they are in Germany.

    They are no different here.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:07 am

Sorry Deb, it appears you are jumping the gun (no pun intended).
Very recent reports indicate that the other victims killed prior to the Jewish day school shooting today, who appear to be the victims of the same shooter or shooters, were of arab descent.
So while the shooter(s) may be Islamic/arab, their killing are not directed only against Jews..

Charlie on March 19, 2012 at 2:50 pm

So, Islamic terrorists killing Muslims in Muslim countries are not Islamic terrorists?

John Galt on March 19, 2012 at 2:55 pm

    Reuallllyyy?

They do that to each other in Iraq, in Pakistan and in other Muslim countries. When they can’t kill infidels, they slaughter each other.

Islamic terrorists are not particularly choosy about their victims.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:11 am

Hey Yohav… je suis pied-noir.

Now that I’ve said that, I’d like to remind you that my father’s family fled Algeria in the 60s to escape the Islamist mobs that were taking over the former French territory. They would’ve stayed there, but it wouldn’t be too good for their health, sanity or survival.

As for DS’s comment about heads stuck in sand, it would’ve been a little quaint if people weren’t knee-deep in shit as well.

OTOH – it could be happening right now.

The military in France has been told NOT to wear their uniforms OFF BASE after the shootings.
This whole shooting situation is probably a act of islamic terrorism.

I do NOT believe for a second those soldiers were shot because of their religion as there was NO WAY to know their religion as they were wearing FRENCH ARMY UNIFORMS!

The one thing clear about them was their MILITARY status.

Remember, ISLAMISTS have declared war on the NATO allies and vowed to take it to the home countries of the members of NATO.

THIS may be a world wide plot…hit soldiers and hit the Jews anywhere in the world!

BY the way there have been several threats against Jewish centers and synagogues in Paris lately!

Alabama Pride on March 19, 2012 at 3:09 pm

Wow, first time a comment of mine was actually accepted through “moderation.” How exciting.

Honestly, this is ridiculous. I certainly never suggested anything about defamation, Sean, nor do I believe you understand the necessary requirements of a defamation suit. This aside, my point was that there was (and as far as I know, is) no indication that the gunman was a Muslim. I find it troubling that there are people like Debbie Schlussel that see no problem in waging accusations like murder against an entire religion. You say the “facts” are there, but such sweeping generalizations do no one good, and in my mind absolutely divert attention from the innocent victims whose lives were taken so horrifically this morning, as well as the person who carried out this vile ACT OF TERRORISM.

WHich reminds me. Sean, thanks for updating me on your distorted view of the world’s current events. To suggest that people who identify with the religion of Islam have carried out every single “atrocious terrorist attack worldwide” is preposterous, and that I have found myself debating this point with someone is truly a sign of the times. You can’t honestly believe that to be true? What about the Norway mass murders? Virginia Tech? Timothy McVeigh? Hello? Just a few notable terrorist attacks that stick out in my mind, none of which were carried out by Muslims.

Again, this is not some attempt to defend any atrocities or murders carried out by individuals purporting to be Muslim. I just found it dangerous to be jumping on Muslims and Islam when something horrific happens in our world.

mags on March 19, 2012 at 3:55 pm

Mags, you’re gonna have to put the kibosh on your Tim McVeigh example. Anyone who has followed the Mooooooslim death cult knows an Iranian (in Massachusetts…..either still in the hoosegow or homeless) influence was the actual “john doe #2”.

His nom de death is Hussein al-Husseini.

Read Jayna’s Davis’ great tome “The Third Terrorist”.

You’ll need to look a little harder to find another person to help you think stupidly.

If the person is NOT Moooooslim I will be shocked and the freak is more the exception than the rule. When I heard this story the first time I though “Religion of Piece(s)”.

Skunky on March 19, 2012 at 7:46 pm

They do horrific things. Like murder a rabbi and his daughters. This happened before in Mumbai. And now it happened in Toulouse. Get your head out of the sand and look around you. Muslims do more than just preach Jews are the sons of monkeys and are apes and pigs. They act on their own dehumanizing beliefs. And when people are taught to hate, it leads them to do the inevitable. Only people who continue to pretend Islam has nothing to do with anything we’ve seen from it over the centuries can convince themselves the terrorist must have misunderstood his own religion. Keep telling yourself he’s just an extremist. When in truth, they all are, in France and here also in America as well.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 8:45 am

Facial tattoos would likely be a Turkish Mulim although a caucasian with mental problems is also a possibility. In any event, as D said, the person would be praised by many in the world of Islam.

I know the school well where this happened. Some of my relatives have attended there. Especially disturbing is that one eye-witness said he singled out and took careful aim at the head of a child.

ex mossad on March 19, 2012 at 4:25 pm

As our pal “Skzion” normally says, “those who start their message with the “wow” is an utter imbecile”. Mags, as reader “John Galt” said a little earlier on today, Debbie is using “statistical analysis” in this article, she did NOT overtly said that a muslim did this, the sources in France are still investigating this crime, it might be terror-related. And here’s you’re quote between the lines buster:

“To suggest that people who identify with the religion of Islam have carried out every single “atrocious, terrorist attack worldwide” is preposterous,”

Spoken like a typical muslim-apologist dhimmi, first off Mags, to me IMO islam is NOT a real religion, it’s a theocractic-theology pretending to be a religion. Secondly when muslims do terrorist acts, majority of the time they yell/shout “allahu akbar” (in arabic it means god is good), and yes MOST terrorist acts are committed by muslims, at the sametime not all muslims are terrorist. Then you bring up Norway, guess what, Brevik is going to spend half of his adult life in jail for what he did, and I’m NOT making excuses for that jackass nor I’m not pardoning what he did, what he did was pure evil.

As for Virginia Tech, the shooter to was an imbecile and loser for doing that, I am not making excuses for that unhinged lunatic. As for Timothy McVeigh, did you know that he aligned himself with al-qeada (Debbie herself wrote an article about it a year ago on this blog) in Iraq prior to doing the Oklahoma City, OK bombing over 15 years ago. But don’t sit there and keep denying that muslims don’t do terrorist acts, atrocious acts, etc. in the name of their religion! So my current event views are NOT distorted as you claimed, I know what I’m talking about buster, you on the other hand are living in you’re own isolated world and being like the “Three Monkeys” of “See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil”!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Muslim identification with the Nazis goes back to Amin al-Husseini. He helped found the SS Muslim Legion.

And he completely approved of the Nazi slaughter of Jews in Europe.

The more things change, the more they remain the same. The most toxic Jew-hatred today comes from the Muslim World.

We’ve seen what its like for Jews in Toulouse. There are going to be many more Jewish victims. Its true Jews are in denial.

But then so is the world. No one should be shocked this happened.

Neo-Nazi is right… again Mohammed Merah sounds like one of those guys the media should want to fall all over themselves to tell us his religion. C’mon, its bordering on the ridiculous. Islamic terrorists of the Al Qaeda suasion stick out like a sore green thumb.

It can’t be any one else? You mean the Religion Of Peace doesn’t slaughter children? After all I’ve written on this blog for years, people are still surprised. They shouldn’t be. And this isn’t the last time Islamic terrorists are going to commit mass murder.

So, it’s being reported that the gun used today was the same gun used in other recent attacks. When I first heard that tidbit of info it seemed a little suspicious that bullets could have been recovered from dead or wounded victims, or other places at the crime scene, then compared against other bullets in such a short amount of time. It seems that Pox News and all the other leftist press have set the narrative. I guess that’s why people are posting here citing the ballistic “evidence” as proof that somehow the shooter is not moslem.

I can guess why people feel comfortable with a Nazi. Dead evil doesn’t disturb people and you can dismiss the shooter as as a hateful crank.

If he’s Muslim, then he belongs to over a billion people with a similar set of beliefs. That means one has to confront Muslim anti-Semitism. People for various reasons want to ignore it and even to suppress it. Doing that won’t make it go away.

Regardless of the ultimate identity of the killer(s), its already a hate crime against Jews.

NormanF on March 20, 2012 at 3:22 am

Norman, Muslims are not anti-semitic, because we are semitic.

We aren’t anti-Jewish either, we are anti-zionism.

GG on March 20, 2012 at 6:17 am

“Norman, Muslims are not anti-semitic, because we are semitic.

    We aren’t anti-Jewish either, we are anti-zionism.”

You, my good sir, are one generalizing fool 🙂

And btw stupid – are the most populous muslim nation semitic?
    Indonesia? Southeast asian semitics?
And what about the fool Yusuf Islam(Cat Steven)? Semitic?
Give us all a break – you have trouble defending all your bs and your agenda have been called…
Some corners of thruth will be cut in this escalating CONFLICT and so be it!

Peter on March 20, 2012 at 9:06 am

GG, sir or maam, you need to get you’re fact straight and know WTF you’re talking about, you said that muslims are not anti-semitic, WRONG about half of muslims are indeed anti-semitic (I didn’t say all muslims are anti-semities, I know there are some muslims who are zionist but there not heard or seen for fear that their co-religionist will threatening them and/or intimidate them).

As for “zionism”, let me do a little education for you sir or maam, a man named “Martin Luther King Jr.” said a quote about zionism, and here goes, “Make no mistake about it, those who are anti-zionist are anti-semitic”. Anti-zionism is anti-semitism, so you are a jew-hater buster, and also there are some jews who anti-zionist and there self-hating jews/kapos/JINOs!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

    Sean R. on March 20, 2012 at 12:03 pm

Same difference. One who hates the Jewish State is an anti-Semite.

The distinction is one of terminology – not of intent. You have shown us with your own words you’re like the rest of them.

You would have murdered the Sandlers if they had lived in Israel. That says all we need to know!

NormanF on March 20, 2012 at 11:31 pm

“On Monday, the killer arrived and fled on a motorbike, following the same approach used in the two previous attacks. In those shootings, a man wearing a motorcycle helmet killed three French paratroopers and critically wounded another. The soldiers were all Arab or black, and appeared to have been targeted specifically, witnesses said.

“We know that it is the same person, the same arm that killed the soldiers, the children and a teacher,” Mr. Sarkozy said Monday night.”

While it SEEMS related, how can they KNOW this? Also, they are specifically leaving out the possibility that the soldiers were targeted by Muslims for the same reason why Muslims have targeted our soldiers in America. For example, in Arkansas, a Muslim shot 1 black Army private and 1 white one at an Army recruiting station. So, according to the Muslims, if you join the army, it doesn’t matter what race or religion you are. They see the Muslims in our armed forces as apostate Muslims.

In any event, they are guarding synagogues AND mosques in France now. But when was the last mosque to have a shooting incident? No answers to that question. Ah, political correctness …

Gerald on March 20, 2012 at 10:24 am

@Peter,

Not ALL Muslims are semitic, also not all Jews are Semitic either.

thats why the term anti-semitic is invalid and meaningless. Being semitic is a race thing, not a religous one. But my point was to prove that some Muslims are semitic. And Islam is a religion which does not prefer people according to their races.

GG on March 20, 2012 at 11:11 am

Anti-Semitism means only one thing: Jew-hatred. It has never meant anything else. FYI, there are Jewish anti-Semites, proving the term in question has nothing to do with race.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:24 am

@Gerald, they are not linking the soldier shootings with Muslims because two soldiers of the three killed were Muslims. Also, they already know the man who did it, he was a former soldier in the French army but was suspended after he and some of his peers raised the Nazi flag somewhere.

Also a week ago a Mosque in Belgium was bombed and no one spoke about it.

GG on March 20, 2012 at 11:17 am

To GG: You say ‘Also a week ago a Mosque in Belgium was bombed and no one spoke about it.’

You’re incorrect, it was picked up by the media. search yourself and the evidence is there. This was another case of Muslims killing Muslims. The Imam from this mosque was killed. It appears that he had ties with Turkey and was a Shia. So the Belgium Freedom of Speech is ignored by Muslims who don’t like what they’re hearing from their co-religionists who take the law into their own hands, as usual. Burning buildings and killing.

Whilst you continue to debate the Muslim factor why don’t you consider the fact that Shias are killing Sunnis and vice versa. The burning of mosques and the bombing of market places in Iraq to their own civilians is done by Muslims. The killing of civilians in the ME nu-democracy awakening is done by Muslims. Why are Muslims killing the Copts in Eygpt. Why are Hamas killing Fatah and vice versa. Why are Muslims so bloody miserable. Dancing and rejoicing only takes place when others are murdered and maimed as we all witnessed in the ME when the 9/11 news went viral.

    Will await your comments.

Sarah on March 20, 2012 at 10:34 pm

The mosque in Belgium was bombed by Islamic terrorists. Shocka. Wonder why you didn’t bother to bring up that pertinent little detail.

Hey, it was still blamed on the Jews! So they pretend they’re one big happy family. Yeah sure – with the Religion Of Peace, you can never be sure they’ll love each one day and kill each other the next day.

    That’s a fact of life.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 12:30 am

@greg – the shooting in Norway was perpetrated by a nut, but he was NOT a Christian nut. Get your facts straight.

There were Muslim Nazi divisions. Again, get your facts straight before spouting off.

Regarding the Catholic Irish terrorists – are you suggesting they had something to do with this? If we were discussing an attack in England or Ireland, I would be willing to entertain that option.
Not that I’m excusing anything they have done or will do, but note that the Catholic terrorists aren’t on a mission to kill or convert the entire world.

KerryB29 on March 20, 2012 at 11:30 am

GG:

1. Belgium is not France. So while that act of terrorist criminality is an outrage that should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, it is irrelevant to this case.

2. “they already know the man who did it, he was a former soldier in the French army but was suspended after he and some of his peers raised the Nazi flag somewhere”

That is ONLY A THEORY. Just like Mike Bloomberg’s THEORY that a bomb that was placed in the Times Square van could have been the work of Tea Party people protesting ObamaCare.

It is a game that they play. They float the POSSIBILITY that it could be someone else in order to ward off alleged Islamophobia, and then they arrest the Muslim. Now this may be one of the RARE instances where the terrorist was non-Muslim. But the police and the press follow the same PC game during the 99% of the cases when it isn’t.

Gerald on March 20, 2012 at 12:03 pm

I agree with you totally tthat it has to be a Muslim who did that. You know if these Algerians or other Moslems think that you speak Arabic they will ask you point blank; “Do you want a girl with you ” I was amazed a t the braziness of the question and the girl was beside him. I pretended that I do not have any money to get rid of him quickly. My daughter was with me with my grandson. She asked me; “What did he want” I told her he was begging for some money; what do I tell her???

@KerryB29

The Norway shooter described himself as “100 % Christian “. Fact.

I am heartbroken. Why are we still living in any of these countries. It’s past time for aliyah.

Naomi R. on March 20, 2012 at 2:37 pm

Chances are it was not a muslim.

M: HUH? Actually, chances are it was. DS

Mats on March 20, 2012 at 3:13 pm

Debbie is going to write today she was prophetic as she usually is. And news reports had us convinced a right-wing Christian fanatic might actually be behind the killings.

Cuz you never know. In Hollywood’s world, Islamic terrorists do infidels’ bidding. Maybe Merah is a stooge and he doesn’t really work for Islam.

I can hardly wait for all the post hoc explanations and excuses to appear today. Its like a ritual.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 8:22 am

This evil ne’er do well is at last exposed for what she is. From the shooting of defenceless victims, I pray she gets her due desserts and the boot. If faces say it all, she has certainly had an intravenous lemon juice injection.

Funerals for four people in Israel Wednesday.

When people read about what their friends and family say about them, who in their right mind would kill them?

Then we learn the murderer or a possible accomplice, filmed the killings as though to relive them later. That’s depraved!

When it comes to human evil, words fail me. We think we have seen the worst of mankind. All we know is people who hate Jews that much to kill them – its a reminder for the rest of us it can be more than words.

And in the meantime, the surviving wife and children have to live with the sorrow. I know that intimate emotion all too well and so does Debbie Schlussel. Nothing will ever bring them back.

So we must remember for them and make sure the Jewish people are acquainted with the danger. The irony is they came home to Israel. One wishes with all one’s heart it had been under happier circumstances!

Zichrono Livrachah – may the memory of Rabbi Yonathan Sandler, his children Gavriel and Aryeh and Miriam Monsonego be for an eternal blessing and may G-d avenge them!

UPDATE:

After an intensive manhunt, French authorities detained a suspect with Al-Qaeda ties. No further details yet. Suspect is said to be 24 years old.

http://www.jpost.com/JewishWorld/JewishNews/Article.aspx?id=262745

Its certainly a break in the case. We’ll learn more in the coming hours and days.

NormanF on March 21, 2012 at 2:39 am

Norman F, thank you for your continued updates and comments on this terrible tragedy. Am sure Debbie’s followers will second that. The JP’s reporting on the character of the Rabbi Sandler moved me to tears, such a good decent human being. The least the French could do was send a military aircraft with the bodies to rest in Israel, Eternal home of the Jews.

Eyes Wide Open on March 21, 2012 at 3:01 am

SURPRISE not.
The France 24 network reported that the suspect in the Toulouse attacks is a French citizen, 24, of Algerian extraction who lives near the Ozar HaTorah school where four Jews were killed two days ago. The suspect stated that he belongs to the al-Qaeda terror group. (Ynet)

Speaking personally, I’m very tired of the following:

1) Arabs (predominantly Muslims) claiming they can’t be antisemitic because they’re semites themselves…

2) Europeans embracing dead Jews…

Hans on March 21, 2012 at 5:33 am

Yup. Its like a predictable script and it doesn’t come as a shock to learn the killer was an Islamic terrorist of Arab origin.

Lots of those in France and they’re no less extreme here. Four beautiful people died.

As I always like to say, the real problem isn’t so-called Islamophobia. Its the anti-Semitism, Stupid. And Islam to any one who has been paying any attention.

When we will we ever learn?
