I’ve been thinking of buying a gun. I joined the NRA last year simply as a politcal statement since I am leery of Obama’s policies in general and his stance on the 2nd ammendment in particular. Since joining I’ve been receiving the NRA’s magazine, American Rifleman. Lot’s of advertisements for guns. I think I’m partial to a Kimber m1911 45ACP.

A couple of random thoughts went through my mind as I read this:
1) Debbie mentions buying one or more guns. Right now my wife won’t let me. I am going to show her this.
2) When I saw the picture of the French Police lying on the ground I honestly did not know if their failing to retaliate was worse than the burning cars. That the Police did nothing sends a signal. A BIG signal. Next time one or more French Police may get killed.
3) I have been told by a friend of my sister’s that car burnings have been going on nightly for years even though they are not being reported as they were several years ago (I was told this before Sarkozy was elected, I do not know if it is still true).
4) Why isn’t the press in the US picking this up? Are they still getting too drunk on Obama mania to even think about anything else?
5) I have to believe that eventually Europe is about to wake up and demand a stop to this nonsense. It would seem to me that even a European who does not like Israel and couldn’t care less about Jews is going to get so turned off by this that they will demand something be done. If they don’t they are in real big trouble. Hopefully the wake up before they reach the point of no return (unless they are already there …).
6) In conclusion I want to share something my father sent me this in an email a couple of years ago:

Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naÔve hosts.
And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition. We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for hoping for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.
What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.

You too, Debbie. Take your own advice and follow it! They had a rally in Malmo, Sweden the other day and the Hamas Arab mob turned violent. Can you guess what the Swedish police did as the pro-Israel demonstrators were stoned and pelted? NOTHING! Its going to come here and its only a matter of time.

Remember that a lot of people didn’t take Hitler seriously until it was too late.
Of course self-defense against these goons is essential, but I think that even more essential is political clarity about them (and of course I realize that you are expending a lot of resources to do this). Ultimately, political clarity on the part of millions of people will be needed to defeat Muslim terrorism in this country, and, unfortunately, I don’t see it coming from most of the politicians.

Yes, another “beautiful day in the neighborhood” for the muslims. You heard Obama on Al-Arabiyah yesterday, “We are a muslim nation and …..” Uhuh.
The obvious question is, why weren’t the police using more force, certainly rubber bullets and tear gas much earlier in this melee? Why have a police force if what we saw is all they will do? I realize it is France, but the question remains.

You’re going to need more than 1 gun and lots of ammo.
More than 1 because you’ll probably have to give one up to the gov’t when disarm us – then you dig the one’s up that you’ve buried.
A lot of ammo becuase the anti-gun forces are going to make it expensive to own.
You’ll need more than 1 gun because a lot a people aren’t going to prepare – in order to survive you’ll need to arm them too. Particularly the women in your family.
Get prepared now – before it is too late.
