It’s well know that there is a high degree of anti-Semitism throughout the Defense Department. This has been even more the case now that the Government is afraid that Israel might attack Iran, which would interfere with the Defense Department goal of appeasing Iran.

It is also well-known that in addition to the anti-Semitism in the Defense Department that has stretched back to the 19th Century (forerunners of the Defense Department), there has been a campaign to appease and whitewash Muslims. The Defense Department’s participation in this screed needs to be seen in this light.

For all we know, having a Jewish ‘terrorist’ as the villain might have even been DoD’s idea.

Google up Larry Auster and ‘the liberal script’ to understand why this movie is written the way it is. According to modern liberalism (ie leftism), the true villains are always white non-leftist males. Muslims can NEVER be evil in and of themselves. They can only be the pawns of the truly great evil and that will be one of the following:

1) white heterosexual Christian males
2) capitalist and businessmen
3) CIA agents – make that white CIA agents (ie ‘The Expendables’)

Since this picture received such heavy government backing, they bear the blame for what it turned out to be. Also, any Navy Seal who would willing participate in such a film is unworthy of their position.

Has anyone here considered that the villain of the movie might be a veiled reference to that creepy old Hungarian Jewish billionaire that so many of us on the Right consider to be the embodiment of Evil?

The movie interrogator exclaims, “But you’re Jewish!” To me, that at least admits the possibility that he is astounded that a Jew could stoop to such evil. Had the line been, “Well, you’re Jewish, that explains it”, then you would have clearly-expressed anti-Semitism.

I have not seen the movie, and I don’t plan to; I’m not a go-to-movies kind of guy. But based simply upon what I read above, I fail to see rampant anti-Semitism.

To say it simply, the terrorists who plague the world are not Jewish, they are Muslim. So when a movie, contrary to fact, portrays the terrorists as Jewish, especially at a time when Israel and its Jewish supporters are under attack more than has been the case in decades, it distorts reality, at Jewish expense, and must be seen as anti-Semitism.

Movies do have influence, and while Soros does finance many left-wing movements, and is soft on terrorism, it is a reach to say he is financing terrorism. And most of the terrorist financiers are Muslims.

It is debasing to have to say these obvious things, but I am a little sympathetic to these numbskulls since they are victims of the PC dumbing down of our schools, and the PC propaganda that has infested our society since the 60s.

I supposed it may show that something that looks good and about which one is is excited can turn out to be something different than one expected. I guess high expectation is not reality. I have seen this happen many times, where people are so excited for something and claiming it is the best (not saying that is what you were saying), only to be faced with something different when it was released.

Another question: Has the downing of the Seals helicopter been fully investgated? According to the laws of science & engineering there is no way that a helicopter of that advanced engineering could have been taken down by hand held rockets. A manufacturer’s explantion with scientific forensics should be transparent for all to make up their minds.

Remember the Chris Tucker/Jackie Chan cinematic classic “Rush Hour 2” (possibly the only movie in history to be racist against whites, blacks, Hispanics and Asians, as well as being both misogynistic and misandric)? Well, it laid out the “follow the rich white man” theory. Tucker and Chan were after this Asian criminal syndicate who killed Chan’s father, but the root cause of the criminality was a wealthy white fellow who was bankrolling the Asian criminals. So, Tucker and Chan left Asia where the criminals who killed Chan’s father were in order to come back to America to capture the wealthy white male. Ah, great cinema, good times!

This is more of it. Hollywood knows that they have to deal with Muslim terror in some form because it is, you know, reality and a pressing issue. So the way to do it is to advance this (longtime staple of Marxism) that the “root cause” of all problems in the world committed by nonwhites is the manipulation of political, economic and social systems by capitalist whites. Neo-colonialism theory, multiculturalism, and other Marxist ideologies could not exist without it, because the “blame the rich white man” device is needed to explain such things as tribal warfare and corrupt, oppressive, genocidal third world leaders. Third world Marxist leaders have blamed the conspiracies and meddling of western capitalist politicians, bankers, industrialists etc. for the failures of their own workers’ paradises and their horrible human rights records for who knows how long. And a version of it is used to explain urban/inner city/underclass pathology in America. A good example of this: the movie “Pearl Harbor”, where the noble, honorable peace-loving Japanese were forced to attack an America that they highly respected because of our oil embargo against them (oil is the catch-all default excuse for every tribal war, famine, despot and other third world failure and calamity).

As far as the left taking a liberal stance on Muslim terror: that isn’t new. Remember “The Siege”, that Bruce Willis/Denzel Washington movie, where the “bad guys” weren’t REALLY the terrorists but the white military conservatives like Willis’ character that was trying to protect us from them? Or “The Long Kiss Goodnight” from 1996 where foreign policy conservatives were going to stage a phony Muslim terror attack in order to get social welfare program money diverted to defense? And so on.

Instead, the difference is the Jewish involvement. That is the story. According to the left, Jews are no longer minorities. Anti-Semitism is now only something that they can use to marginalize conservative politicians. Other than that, Jews have now “become white” (to borrow from the famous racial sociology book “How The Irish Became White”). When and why did it happen? September 11th, when the solution to the war on terror (according to the left) was resolving the fact that the Muslims hated us. That meant siding with the Palestinian narrative in Israel for the sake of Middle Eastern and world peace for one thing. It also meant adding “Islamophobia” to the list of major “isms” (i.e. racism, sexism, environmentalism). And the embrace of Israel by conservative GOP evangelicals during that time was the clincher. That put Israel and the Zionists on the side of “the establishment”, causing the progressives to go to the other side. (Consider that conservative anti-Semitism was the only reason why a lot of liberals ever supported Israel and the Jews to begin with. Once conservatives embraced Jews and Israel also, defending Jews wasn’t “cool” or “hip” anymore, but defending Muslims from conservatives quickly came to be.)

So, seeing Jews – especially wealthy Askenazi Jews with money and influence – as “the enemy” is no longer the province of the radical left. It has now been embraced by the mainstream left, as the mainstream left no longer makes any real distinction between wealthy Jews and wealthy WASPs. And if Jews abandon Obama in 2012 – and Obama loses – expect the way that the left views wealthy influential Jews to get much, much worse. The best thing is that they are going to have people like Tom Friedman, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt around to shield them from charges of anti-Semitism!

He has never once touched Fast and Furious, the death of Brian Terry, and many other real Constitution-damaging issues and misdeeds. He likes to discuss “inane” political issues, football, golf, his tea. When has he fully discussed all of the corruption of this admin’s “green energy” loans (for an example). Rush, in my opinion, is a only a primer for people who are starting out in politics. If one is still “listening” to him, then he/she hasn’t developed beyond political preschool.

Cry me a river. I served with the SEALs and so they wrote in a bad guy as a Jew. Catholics have been written in as bad guys as well as Protistants. It was real SEALs using real weapons, real attics and using real Navy assets. It was also somewhat based on some of the types of missions that SEALs gave been on. Upon reading the multiple posts, there a few coclusions i have made regardng the show 24. Yes some of the seasons are rather left leaning (easons 5 and 7). However, some are more conservative than originally thought. For example (WITH SPOILERS):
1. Season 2: The jihadist group, Second Wave, is an evil despicable group whos ranks include a former liberal activist turned jihadist and a sadist who tortures women for his own entertainment. They answer to no one. Later, a European coalition and Democratic operatives attempt to manipulate the aftermath for their own agendas, but they are not leading the jihadists.
2. Season 4: Habib Marwan’s extremely organized and deadly Jihadist organization serves as the season’s primary villain. Marwan answers to no one and he is the ultimate mastermind who attacks America on multiple fronts using an extensive network of lethal assassins, thugs, and sleepers.
3. Season Six: The first half involves Jihadists who use such torture techniques as power drills and even nuke part of the Valley. It is in this season that there are a number of confusions. Some say that he takes orders from the Russian Terrorists who long for the days of the Soviet Union. However, they are merely partners,and the Jihadists almost eliminate the Russians when it appears they cannot carry their share of the load. The viewer discovers that the caucasian villains are only loosley connected to the Russian terrorists. The mastermind of the attacks is a politically connected Middle Eastern general. Other villains include the Communist Chinese who try to take advantage of the aftermath, but are not behind the attacks either. Finally, the Democrat President conistently thinks that he can negotiate with the Jihadists with disastrous consequences.
4. Season 8: Jihadists attack America because The United States is actualy on the verge of peace with a powerful Middle Eastern country. This enrages the Jihadists who enter into a secret alliance with snake like Russian government in order to cause death an destruction. The jihadists torture, kill people on video and download it on the net, use their families as cover in an apartment building, and even attempt to bomb a hospital and set off a dirty bomb in New York.

I guess discussions like this are useful because they illustrate how widespread both antisemitism and stupidity are. Ever since the French Revolution, antisemitic hatred of rich Jews has been the province of both the right and the left. The evil Rothchilds were the embodiment of capitalism and attacked by antisemities of all political stripes. That antisemitism has not languished but is alive and well in this discussion.

But it is only a movie.

That stupid comment ignores content, and says that because of form, i.e. that something is a movie, content can be disregarded or ignored. So when is content important? A political speech? An article? A TV program? Remember how Hitler and Stalin used all types of propaganda, including, yes, movies.

And PC was flourishing in 1968. It was the height of the anti-Vietnam crazies demonstrating, riots in all the cities which had been going on for four years, burning down buildings on campus, non-negotiatle demands, the Black Panthers, so to say that high schools in the 1960s weren’t affected by PC is ridiculous.

Walt and Mearsheimer had their counterparts in the rabid anti-semitic professors in France and Germany throughout the 19th, 20th and now the 21st centuries.

Unfortunately for Gerald, the Left is well aware that Jews are a minority. That is why they are subject to so much disproportionate attack, both in their native countries and Israel. It is one reason Israel is so singled out, why so many prominent blacks have been anti-semitic for so many years — because they know they can get away with it. If they really thought Jews were a majority, they would be more cautious. But they know and sense that the elite doesn’t like Jews either. That most of the site would be happy to see Israel wiped off the map, and never wanted to see it founded in the first place.

And now this movie comes out right when there is an issue of whether Iran should be attacked by Israel (the US essentially supports and appeases Iran). The movie comes out right after the JCS visits Israel (our President won’t dirty himself on Jewish soil) to dissuade them from bombing Iran, and Netanyahu prepares for his visit here, and this propaganda screed is released to help buttress feeling, not against Iran, but against Israel.

And to think that so many nitwits can read this column day after day and can have learned nothing.

I haven’t seen the movie, so I’m going by reviews of people like Debbie in making my points here.

Is Debbie exagerating when she says the movie portrays “Jews as jihadists”? The movie portrays A JEW (singular) as a terrorist, but it’s possible the movie maker is trying to suggest that other Jews are doing it as well.

The motive for that is anti-Semitism and/or an attempt to minimize the fact that Islam is the real danger.

It’s also possible the producers were looking for “shock value” by having the terrorist mastermind be a Jew.

It’s rather baffling why a movie maker, who’s so interested in authenticity that they use real Navy Seals instead of actors, would then use such a far-fetched plot of a Jew being the mastermind behind a jihadist terrorist plot.

Remember, there are self-hating and/or radical leftist Jews who could conceivably join Islamic terrorists.

Debbie this is all so typical. No matter what the reality is, our military and security services are heavily influenced by Christian ideology in which Jews are the real and final enemy. I like that Christians tend to be pro-Israel, but it’s definitely a double edged sword when it comes to Jews. Debbie I set an empty space at my Shabbat table for you, just like the Yankees did for Thurman Munson, OBM.
