HILARIOUS Video: The Muslim World’s Littlest Dictator

By Debbie Schlussel

You gotta watch this video.

Of all the Muslim countries, Morocco is among the most “moderate,” the most hospitable to Jews (there was a Jewish member of its parliament for years), and the closest to Israel, but all that is relatively speaking.  Still, you have to laugh at this video of Crown Prince Moulay El-Hassan, the eight-year-old Crown Prince and heir to the throne of his father, King Mohammed VI of Morocco.  All of these people pandering, bowing down, and kowtowing to this spoiled little kid–who was born in 2003–is a bit over the top. (You don’t need to understand Arabic to understand what is going on in the video.)  But, like I said, calling Morocco, ” among the most moderate,” is relative to the other countries in the Muslim world.  That they fawn over this little kid shows you just how “moderate” it is.  This brat could become King at any time, and then they will be ruled by his fiat.

funnyvideo

Not that “democracy” in the Muslim world is better. It isn’t. It’s worse and involves Crown Princes of a different kind. I’d definitely take Moroccan monarchy any day over the Muslim Brotherhood and its ilk running Egypt, Libya, etc. Ironically, despite all the kinds of stuff in the video, Prince Moulay Hassan will probably turn out to be the most humane and decent head of state in the Muslim world when he takes power. Still, this is worth a look . . . and a laugh.

I really think Debbie should go to Morocco, at least, there, that king insures that they don’t practice bigotry against jews like some do against muslims in some “1st world” nations…

Is this why Jews are advised to leave the Netherlands? And what about the so called “Moroccans” in Paris and elsewhere who in packs threaten, and beat Jews? Muslims as a rule are like gasoline, properly contained they are considered safe and useful by many western “intellectuals”, but wear a yalmulke in their “hood” and you might as well light a match while filling the tank to your Fiat.See also “Tunisia” for the latest mob cries of kill the Jews for Allah.

LOL! I can’t help but think about that infamous “Twilight Zone” episode staring Billy Mumy and that cornfield!

LOL, Skunky. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Great message, great story, and fine acting in “It’s a Good Life,” one of the great Twilight Zones. “It’s a real good thing, you done that, Anthony…. real good!”

NOT by me, Ralph Adamo who lives in New Orleans. It is embarrassing to share a name with someone who hates Barack Oboma and displays his ignorance with this sort of glib bs commentary.

I’ve just discovered this website. And seeing this article now has convinced me you are sick, Debbie Schlussel. And no, I’m not a liberal.

Rebecca on January 16, 2012 at 4:59 pm

Cool. No one forced you to come here Rebecca. Also, as Sean noted, you really did not even describe Debbie’s alleged offense. You are lousy as a muslima and troll. Having a fit is not an argument. Do you share Eric’s babysitter perhaps?

    Worry01 on January 16, 2012 at 6:34 pm

Just discovered this website this morning and have read quite a bit. And now reading this article has convinced me you are sick, Debbie Schlussel. No, I am not a liberal. And I will never be visit this truly vile site again.

Rebecca on January 16, 2012 at 5:15 pm

So you’ve discovered this website today huh Rebecca, and you’re upset and disgusted by DS for what? Did you read this article and look at the video? Apparently you didn’t read the article or look at the video, all you did was use you’re stupid and pathetic emotions and feelings and demagoguged Ms. Schlussel’s personality for lord knows what.

And I could careless if you’re a conservative, liberal, indpendent or whatever ideological divide you are, you’re the one’s who’s “vile” Rebecca. And since you said that you’re not going to comment here again, good, don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out! And my last question for you Rebecca, since you find DS offensive, why the hell did you comment here in the first place? I know you’re not going to answer my question because you just did a “hit-and-run” and don’t want to debate or answer my question.

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

    Sean R. on January 16, 2012 at 5:35 pm

Oh and I almost forgot to mention this to you Rebecca, as I told EricDraven, did you read Debbie’s sentiment between the lines in this article, she said “I’d definetly take Moroccan monarchy any day over the Muslim Brotherhood and its ilk running Egypt, Libya, etc.”. You missed that statement Rebecca, becuase not only you were using emotions and feelings, but you were also being a complete dumbass bimbo. What Debbie said in that statement was, she’d prefer and take this little child in Morocco over ANY islamic country in the middle east that uses “Sharia Law/Islamic Law”. And do you know what sharia law is Rebecca and do you know ANYTHING about islam in general Rebecca?

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

    Sean R. on January 16, 2012 at 5:52 pm

Really Rebecca? Did you have to do your mechanical spam twice to make the same point? I guess you are a Kim Jong-Un fan as well, since you seem enthralled by the groveling attendants around this child.

    Worry01 on January 16, 2012 at 6:25 pm

he seems like a nice enough kid… it was funny how he withdrew his hand so fast not many of those creepy old pedophiles got their slimey mouth’s on his hand. i’ll bet he HATES that the most about being a prince.

he needs a pet monkey named Abu…

KIRCHE on January 17, 2012 at 3:21 pm

Haha! Mocking children! Comedy gold!

TheDarkEricDraven on January 16, 2012 at 5:16 pm

Eric, you have got to be the biggest screw-up not only on this blog but probably all across the internet. Where in this article is Debbie laughing and making fun of this kid?

You really need to improve on you’re reading comprehension skills, because it’s really pathetic and sad. Did you also read between the lines of “I’d definetly take Moroccan monarchy any day over the Muslim Brotherhood and its ilk running Egypt, Libya, etc.”. In other words stupid, Debbie would prefer this little child over any of the islamic theocractic dictatorships anywhere in the middle east!

Apparently you and you’re girlfriend Rebecca are stuck on stupid and using feelings and emotions instead of “critical thinking”!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

    Sean R. on January 16, 2012 at 5:44 pm

      Who is Rebecca?

TheDarkEricDraven on January 16, 2012 at 6:01 pm

Eric. You really do need to repeat grade school, since your reading comprehension is probably closer to the eight year old Prince Moulay El-Hassan’s than to an adult. You bombed out the last time you posted for the same reason. Have your caregiver post for you, if you wish to be less of a joke yourself.

    Worry01 on January 16, 2012 at 6:29 pm

That doesn’t answer my question. Nor does it make the reading comprehension joke any more relevant or funny.

TheDarkEricDraven on January 16, 2012 at 6:32 pm

Huh? I know humor is subjective, but whoever laughed at this video must have the comedic satisfaction of a 3 year old.

MS on January 16, 2012 at 5:34 pm

My goodness. His ribbon-cutting prowess already easily matches that of the Prince of Wales. I see many opening ceremonies at malls and amusement parks in this kid’s future. I wonder how he’d perform in a round of “Jeopardy” against Kim Jong Un.

Irving on January 16, 2012 at 5:43 pm

We are waiting on Debbie’s “funny” article on all the monarchies in Europe, starting from our first ally, the brits! I think Debbie needs to travel a bit more, may be go to that other monarchy called Sweden, or Norway, where people are way more civilized, free (yes free) and intelligent than in the US of A. But let me guess, the Brits are not muslim or arab, so that wouldn’t work out so well in a “conservative” blog… I totally understand…

    Josh B on January 16, 2012 at 8:14 pm

How is this funny, let alone “hilarious”?

Lolwhat on January 16, 2012 at 5:51 pm

Do you grovel around the children of your boss like a slave or dog? If you do, I can understand why you don’t see the humor in all of those sycophants around Prince Moulay El-Hassan. You must be pretty tribal.

    Worry01 on January 16, 2012 at 6:31 pm

Debbie is so right. It is actually disgusting that you have to laugh so you, won’t get upset. The reminds me of North Korea and Kim Jong Il. People are capable of doing stupid things.

CaliforniaScreaming on January 16, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Poor kid. He is going to have grow into those ears.

Tanstaafl on January 16, 2012 at 6:57 pm

Debbie, the bad news about Morocco is the Islamists won the recent election. Not “moderate” but a MB clone.

All that stands in their way is the monarchy.

NormanF on January 16, 2012 at 7:05 pm

Rebecca, to quote Randal, one of the clerks from the classic 1990’s movie “Clerks” when a female customer in the video store gets upset with him for ignoring her questions, prompting her to tell him she’ll never shop here again: “You’ll be missed”

Regarding this Morocco video, I found this display to be somewhat impressive in a twisted sort of way when you compare to the far more extreme backward nonsense that goes on in other Muslim countries. Everyone except for the 1 goofball dressed in robe & towel is neatly dressed and respectful of the little man.

Jay on January 16, 2012 at 7:20 pm

Dear DS,

I was just to mention your comment elsewhere on Internet but couldnt.

You missed the historic depth for the Moroccan nation in the video. The only thing that may save them against the upcoming religious fanatism from the Middel east is their own old secular monarchy. And you have no idea how deep its rooted in that country!

Bad joke about people you even dont know –

It’s nice to see others bored and annoyed by the mental-cased ravings of TDED. He will be famous nation-wide for his inability to comprehend what he reads and writes. It’s so embarrassing for him but tossers like him have so much hubris, they don’t even get embarrassed. He should.

And of course he’s also too arrogant to listen to me and read DS’ archives instead of removing all doubt from everyone here on DS’ blog that he is indeed a moronic idiot.

logdon on January 17, 2012 at 11:00 am

Hi,

Every country has its own culture. In Morocco we kiss hands of people we love and you have to live with that.

We kiss our mother/father hands to show love and respect and we kiss king and the prince hand because we love them and we respect them too. The Royal family is here with Moroccans for ages before even that they discover your country. We live with them and we love them.
And you just to let you know, One of the Grandfathers of this prince was the first non-American person to recognize ?USA as a country, and ask your history teacher about that.

And you have to know is no one will oblige you or someone else to do that. There is too many Moroccans that don’t do the same act, and no one ask them why. It’s their freedom to kiss or not.

Laughing at other people culture is not that funny.

You Americans, you eat pork even if it’s proven that it’s the most dirty thing to eat, and have money dangerous virus in that meat. That’s maybe funny as we can see stupid people that eat dirty things. But we don’t care, we don’t judge you and we will not laugh at you.

In America you sell ciggarettes in the front of the store, and medicine for sick people in back. That’s also it’s a strange thing. but also here we will not judge you.

Only in America food is categorized as Fruit one day and in the other day you wake up to see it categorized as Vegetables for example, just because some fouls decided to. And again is your life, we don’t judge you and we don’t care.

Only in America, people like you think that they have the right to judge others and think that everything in the world should be the American style. Do you think that other culture is not that good as yours?

Again One of the Grandfathers of this prince was the first non-USA person to recognize ?USA as a country, and ask your history teacher about that.

Funny ha?

Hamza on January 16, 2012 at 9:04 pm

    I’m not with them, Hamza.

TheDarkEricDraven on January 16, 2012 at 9:17 pm

Don’t take this personal but Your name makes it hard to take your comments seriously.

Jay on January 17, 2012 at 12:50 am

I found it funny how fast he pulled his hand away from the second man in line, and some of the others. The little prince didn’t seem too comfortable with all the attention.
Personally though, I think watching grown Russian politicians and diplomats (Judas) kissing is a lot funnier.

theShadow on January 16, 2012 at 9:34 pm

Deb – Apparently muslim dictators that are in over their heads are easily recognized by their ‘big ears’….. shall I assume also that Crown Prince Moulay El-Hassan ‘runs like a duck’?

Nick Fury on January 17, 2012 at 1:50 am

Just one question.. or a couple actually.. How many books have you absorbed to have a so very enlightened opinion about politics in the Arab world? and yes, do you know the difference between Arab and Muslim to begin with? and how far does your knowledge go when talking about North African socio-politics.. You might have a good point but the way you’ve rudely developed it is just a reflection of how poorly aware of elementary data you are.. Read a book dear, and use a better style next time. You wanted to share a point of view, you ended up hurting a nation’s feelings..
And yes, we’re not “morons”, at least our government isn’t involved in slaughtering thousands of people in the name of a democracy that we know nothing about.
Learn you history, assimilate it, understand it, then and only then dare to emit a point of view..
Morocco is still far behind when talking about democracy, when compared to western countries, yes.. But people are trying their best.. They’re not morons.. Please..

Lila on January 17, 2012 at 3:51 am

Lila, DS has forgotten more about Islam and the Arabic World than you have ever known.

Silly little concern trolls. All more concerned about “humour” than the barbaric nature and stone-age modernism of the Muslim world.

Skunky on January 17, 2012 at 9:58 am

When the basis of your sense of humor lies in making fun of other people’s culture, then you have a problem.

In Morocco, the hand-kissing is not a throw-back to slavery or extreme obsequiousness, as you seem to imply, but a ritual of respect. In family gatherings, it is not uncommon for people to kiss each other twice on the cheek, then once on the hand, for instance.

Good day.

OI on January 17, 2012 at 4:22 am

I agree w/ Debbie – this kid has the potential of being a pretty civilized ruler, unlike any other in the Arab league (except perhaps Oman). Nobody was attacking the kid – Debbie was only making fun of people grovelling to him.

I agree that Moroccans groveling before him is unseemly, but as Norm pointed out, given the alternative that Moroccans recently voted for – an Islamic party to power, I’d take the grovelling over a shariah ‘democracy’ any day.

However, given that the Islamic party has come to power, it’s probably just a matter of time that Morocco and Algeria join Tunisia, Libya & Egypt in re-Islamizing, in which case, Moulay El-Hassan’s influence will be irrelevant. If he happens to oppose Islamization of Morocco, people will rally against him like they did against Mubarak & Ben Ali; if he happens to support Islamization, his role will simply be redundant, and he’ll just be another rallying point for jihadis.

The cute look notwithstanding

Infidel on January 17, 2012 at 5:43 am

I have watched the video of the Rabat Zoo ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour twice and don’t see anything that would indicate that the prince is a “spoiled little kid”. This was an opportunity for him to practice and display the poise and serious demeanor that a future leader will need. And he’s only eight years old. Kissing the king’s hand is part of long-standing Moroccan protocol. In fact, I knew Israeli Jews from Morocco who kissed their parents’ and grandparents’ hands as a sign of love and respect. I thought it was charming. If we are going to worry about the children of leaders, I am much more concerned about Sasha and Malia Obama wearing extremely expensive, high-fashion clothing and shoes that cost way more than I and my friends can afford.

Lynne on January 17, 2012 at 10:26 am

Shame Obama wasn’t there. His bow would be so low as to constitute fellatio.

logdon on January 17, 2012 at 11:02 am

Morocco was the first country to recognize American independence. We’ve had a treaty with them since then. It’s really rather amazing, when you compare with other countries and their treaties, how long our treaty with Morocco has lasted.

Politically speaking, they’ve been honest and honorable, keeping to their word. I respect that.

I believe the fact that they have a secular monarchy might have something to do with that. While it’s true that a monarchy can become twisted, with an evil king on the throne, it is also true that if the royal family take care to raise their children well, they can be great rulers.

A GOOD king is better than a democracy in a land where too many people are fools. If the majority of the people are fools, then majority rules means the inmates are running the asylum. Democracy only works when good sense is rampant among society.

Will this young boy be a good king? It’s impossible to tell from this video. For Morocco’s and America’s sake, I hope he will.

Michelle on January 17, 2012 at 11:07 am

Eight years old? How many wives?

Joe Mama on January 17, 2012 at 11:15 am

Debbie wasn’t attacking the kid?

Calling him a spoilt little brat, that is way over the top and a direct attack on him.

Debbie does continue to calm things down in her second paragraph but only after she has mocked an ancient tradition and grabbed her toiletary tabloid headline.

The crown prince is destined to become King, everyone should respect that his father is preparing the boy well for his forthcoming position of King.

The boy’s father, incidentally, speaks many languages and attended university in England, to study tourism.
He can regularly be seen on Moroccan tv, out and about, walking around without a cavalcade of cars, in a plain t-shrt and jeans visiting various projects such as hospitals and community projects that help to protect the poor and vulnerable.

Debbie should definately not visit Morocco as she so obviously has a deep rooted condition against alternative cultures to her own. I am glad that Moroccan authorities can read the internet. Hopefully, they have got a nice photo of Debbie being circulated in the national immigration computers to ban her if she tries to enter Morocco.

A Western culture that mocks an 8 year old boy for who he was born to rather than who he actually is and the potential for good that he has for this world, is a culture which i am ashamed to be so often found to have grown up in.

In Morocco and other countries, the kissing of the hand is a mark and show of respect, just like in England where people curtsey to the Queen, but unlike America

And unfortunately, it just goes to demonstrate that they have the capability of much more respect in their hearts than us western world people could ever muster.

Just looked at Debbies “about me” page…..oh, yes, nice, strange how all of her “investigations” are all centred around an anti islamic stance.

And this woman is an attorney?

Says something big about the state of the American justice system when a bigot can be a part of the system.

Paul on January 17, 2012 at 12:33 pm

“I am glad that Moroccan authorities can read the internet. Hopefully, they have got a nice photo of Debbie being circulated in the national immigration computers to ban her if she tries to enter Morocco.”

Paul, you are motherf**king fascist you scumbag! Moron, Ms. Schlussel has EVERY right to travel to any country in the world she wants to, and also it’s up to her which country she wants to travel to in the world. And what crime has Ms. Schlussel done in order for the Moroccan government to ban her as you’re advocating Paul?

Lookit Paul, we have something here in the United States of America called the “US Constitution and Bill of Rights”, do they have any of that in Morocco? And let me also tell you’re ass something Paul, Amendment I of the US Constitution & Bill of Rights, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibition the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” That means that NO government (that means both domestic and foreign alike) has NO right to infringe and trample on our fundamental rights here in the US.

Also Paul, we are NOT a monarchy and a royalist state, we are a “Constitutional-Republic”, do you know anything about US history? You ought to study US history 101, because during the American Revolutionary war we fought against the British government so we could NO longer be under British rule and be a monarchy like them, so enough with you’re pathetic anti-americanism you scumbag.

As far as DS’s invesitgations on anti-islamic stance, you dhimmi and bonehead, she is calling out all of the teachings, doctrines or islam and also calling out and condemning jihadism, why the hell are you being a damn apologist for islam? Do you know anything about islam you putz?

And last but not least, Ms. Schlussel is a VERY successful attorney who’s won alot of cases brought to her, and FYI Paul, she’s NEVER lost a case in US courts before, because she has all of the facts on her side to back up her claim, while haters like your ass Paul have nothing but rhetoric and conspiray thinking against the poor woman. And we need more lawyers like Debbie Schlussel who’s honest about their profession and cases, etc. NOT ambulance chasing lawyers who you’re sucking up and kissing to Paul, now get lost you bigot!

Hey Debbie, congratulations the polls have been closed and your comment edged out Youssef for the number one irrational and psychotic comment of this post.

Your G-D punishing DS theory thus preventing her from reproduction leads me to think you are writing from a mental health facility and sadly you are not likely one of the nurses
    or employees.

In addition you combined the words now and knew in your first and only sentence. Therefore you started in the present tense and quickly shifted into the past tense, perhaps G-D punished you with horrific grammar.

What Debbie does in her personal life is NONE of you’re business, furthermore enough with the crack-pot talk by bringing god into discussions. Let me ask you something bimbo, if a school bus accidently falls off a road and collides into a ditch somewhere either in the midwest or in the deep south, is that god’s work because the kids on the bus at times misbehaves and don’t listen to their teachers?

Sean R. on January 17, 2012 at 6:38 pm

Hey everybody should know .. in Morocco there are Berbers and arab people, Morocco is a Berber land, but the king is arab one, sorry but most Berbers nowadays don’t want it that way, if you ask anyone about the video above he would tell you they forgot to put those animals who did kiss the little kid’s hand behind the cages lol and please note that the Islamists who recently won elections in Morocco don’t have all authorities and power to make and implement reforms most Moroccans need and waiting for, demonstrations still exist in Morocco since the last February until now, and no one will stop them, and please don’t blame Moroccans about such humiliating protocols, if few little dogs from morocco are shooting insults over this article because of this video, then don’t believe that all Moroccans are like them.
Remember it’s not about religion, Islam is innocent of all those people who bowing down to humans.
Problem of Debbie Schlussel is that she’s trying to fool readers that Islam is too awful, did anyone notice how many times she repeated the word “Muslim world” !! i’m wondering how or who told her those who kissed the kid’s hand are really Muslims ? the main issue isn’t Islam, but it’s the arab people, sorry not all arab pp are bad but the ones who accept what you’ve seen and encourage it i call them too nasty (arabs shud go back to their damn desert in the east) since they settled down in Morocco and problems follow us, Morocco is not arab country, Morocco is a Berber land forever.

Ryan on January 17, 2012 at 11:57 pm

Sean & Jay

You are right in your response to the other debbie, but an important point needs to be made to her about DKS:

Debbie S doesn’t believe in spitting out kids w/o marrying. Since she chose not to marry – for reasons that are purely her business & nobody elses – she doesn’t have any kids. Given the people who marry & then divorce, leaving their kids in single family homes, I’d say she made the right call.

Infidel on January 19, 2012 at 1:14 am

The number of Americans on death row for murder is 3 times greater than the whole population of Morocco. When a single homicide takes place anywhere in Morocco it makes a national headline. In America waking up to a dead body on your door steps is the norm. Who should be laughing and who should be crying? If I were Debbie or her fellow morons, I will be rather crying.
Kissing hands of your parents, your kids, the elderly is very common in Morocco in a show of love and respect. Kissing the hands of the king is becoming an exception. There is no punishment for not doing it.
Next time you want to laugh at something, don’t look too far, just look in the mirror.
