Anti-Israel Actress is Consumer Electronics Show “Ambassador;” Glorifies Mapplethorpe

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s beyond unfortunate when the leading technology event in America embraces a Jew-hating, anti-Israel bigot as its “ambassador.”  But that’s what the Consumer Electronics Show, now taking place in Las Vegas, did when it gave has-been actress Eliza Dushku the title of “CES Ambassador.”  Even more disgusting is that the CES powers that be gave this title to Dushku and embraced her because of what she tweets on Twitter, even though she used Twitter to attack Israel and support anti-Semitic apartheid policies that tell Jews where they can’t live.

elizadushku

elizadushkuantiisrael

As I previously reported, Dushku tweeted that Jews shouldn’t be allowed to live in Jerusalem or any of its so-called “settlement” suburbs, a tip I got from the JIDF. And, yet, this didn’t bother the Consumer Electronics Show people. Anyone who supports redlining policies telling Jews where they cannot live is an anti-Semitic bigot. Period. It’s what the Nazis did. It’s called, “Judenrein.”  I wonder how Dushku would react to people supporting policies limiting where Albanian Mormons, like her, can live.

What also didn’t bother the CES people is that Dushku is making a movie glorifying Robert Mapplethorpe, the disgusting “artist” whose “homoerotic” art was funded by your tax dollars through the National Endowment for the Arts.

The next time you hear any hype about CES, remember that the show endorses–no, honors!–anti-Semitic, anti-Israel bigots for using technology to communicate their anti-Israel Jew-hatred.

Dushku is an idiot. Thanks for exposing this awful fraud and pinheaded actress loudmouth.

Thank you Deb. I will add her to the list of actresses for whom I will not pay to see their movies. In other words, I will boycott anything she is in, and if she is in a television show, I will call or write the sponsors to tell them I will not buy their product as long as they sponsor her program.

Come on people, don’t just type letters to Debbie. IT IS TIME FOR ACTION.

Jonathan E. Grant on January 13, 2012 at 12:21 pm

Maybe her movie about Mapplethorpe will be called “Bullwhips and the Beauty” as she and the repository for the bullwhips are the same.

The chosen/master race should take over and live anywhere they want, right Debbie?

F Islam F Judaism on January 13, 2012 at 4:44 pm

You might want to look up the derivation of the word “ghetto” to understand why Jews get pissed off when people tell them where to live on their own land, captured in a defensive war.

By the way, did you get your polio immunization as a kid? How about rotovirus? You know who developed them, Beavis?

Finally, I don’t know who this slut is, but I’ll be sure to avoid her work in the future.

    Occam's Tool on January 16, 2012 at 4:33 pm

I am sure that the organizers of CES have no idea about any of Dushku’s misguided world opinions. Maybe you can blame them for not researching it, but I am sure this does not represent the CES’s opinions on anything.

They needed a good looking B-list bimbo who would work cheaply. Let’s hope they are paying for her services with leftover Sony cassette Walkmen, 8-track tapes and Betamax VCR’s that they have lying around.

Eliza Dushku’s part-Albanian descent as mentioned in this article may explain part of why she’s such a rabid Jew-hater. (Consider the history of the Albanians in WWII, and more recently Kosovo.)

ConcernedPatriot on January 13, 2012 at 5:40 pm

I am just waiting for a moron to come on here and say, “Hey, she is HOT. Who cares what she thinks politically?” That’s where men act as stupid as dumb broads sometimes.

I knew her Mum when we attended the same workout facility. A very nice women and I think she is a professor in Religion so THAT also may have something to due with her stupid opinion. I liked her Mum (an American woman) but I am sure she wouldn’t have liked me if she knew my political affiliation. Liberal Bostonians are like that.

What a disappointment this dummy is.

DS you are spot ON regarding Mapplethorp. He WAS a disgusting creep and I VERY much remember his DISGUSTING homo-erotic art back in the 80’s. Just pure trash. It angered me and at the time I was Liberal and loved the gays (at at time when coming out was not so easy for them) BUT his art was just nasty porn. I very much remember the controversy. I may have been a Liberal teen BUT I never was so Liberal I saw porn as art. I saw his filth and NEVER wanted any of his stupid photos.

Skunky on January 13, 2012 at 6:12 pm

I, too, remember the disgusting work of Mapplethorpe. In particular, the image of a man in a whole-body rubber suit, that even covered his head and had a tube sticking out from the mouth, was burned into my mind. It was one of several images that made me extremely angry to see that our tax dollars were being used to promote this filth. And if I remember correctly, John Frohnmayer who was the chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, lost his job over those and some other disgusting ‘art’ displays from other perverts.

It doesn’t surprise me that this Dushku bigot is glorifying Mapplethorpe. Birds of a feather…

A fight is brewing! Some wonderful women allow men to be themselves and choose their course in all areas of life! Other women decide men in their lives will be doing what they(women) decide should be done! Now the un-nice part! Proverbs chapter seven could outline in general worldly feminists! Proverbs chapter eight could outline women who love life, freedom, men! The mix of these two chapters give us life as we know it! A woman of wisdom calls to her men to consider their ways! A woman of the feminist movement knows better, and will make men do her bidding? With much fair,or extorted speech she rules her pet? Women who understand the U.S. Constitution, respect men in general! At times men need these wonderful women to help them awake to civil decency, just as women at times need men to awake them to civil decency. Women who are feminists are for changing the U.S. Constitution, to align with their understanding of what should be!wallyworkswell@yahoo.com

“Disputed territory”? Sounds like the anotomical area between the legs of some of these morally bankrupt ‘actresses’.

Not Ovenready on January 13, 2012 at 6:37 pm

Actually, that should be forbidden territory.

The territories she speaks of are actually recovered territories.

BethesdaDog on October 24, 2012 at 3:41 pm

ADMISSION: back in the 90s I thought that Eliza Dushku was hot when she played Faith on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

Of course, I also had crushes on Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan – I had this thing for second-banana gingers, but nevermind.

That’s all I can say. CES should get a better spokesperson. Or better yet, let the gadgets do the talking.

The Reverend Jacques on January 13, 2012 at 11:42 pm

Debbie allow me to add my special insight as a straight male. No mormal guy cares what this or any other bimbo thinks, does or says. If any of that mattered Janet Reno might have gotten the job. EZ’s job is to give the tech geeks a semi; the rest is mishegas. Text me after Shabbat.

A1 on January 14, 2012 at 12:58 am

Why does CES need an ambassador? How much trouble do they actually have in attracting normal folk – most people would find the stuff that features in CES pretty interesting, and not look twice @ the ambassador

Her father is an Albanian. So it’s no surprise this muslim would be anti-semitic. Albania was an ally of Nazi Germany in WWII.

You guys are sad as is your whole website. Israeli disputed territory is just that -‘disputed’! Setting aside your paranoia about antisemitism and your conservative opinions about what you think should be allowed to be called art, there’s just no disputing that. Wow. ‘I think her mom was a religion professor’. ‘I used to like the gays’. Nice well-informed crowd that this website attracts! I’m sure you won’t even post my comment cause you probably censor content before you allow it but let’s face it folks, if you are angry about the Israeli-pestine conflict, this tone and exclusive claim to land rights is just not gonna get it solved. When you have a GENERATION of people restricted to living in hovels with the highest population density in the world and limited civil rights and access to healthcare, jobs and education, you’ve got to think outside the box and compromise a bit. The approach just isn’t working and world leaders and humanitarians (Gentiles AND plenty of Jews) agree on this. Being born Palestinian and in Gaza is a lot like being born gay, what can you do about it?

Saddened on January 14, 2012 at 8:17 am

‘Being born Palestinian and in Gaza is a lot like being born gay, what can you do about it?’

If it’s a combination of the two, I’d say keep schtum, stay in the closet and you may continue to live.

logdon on January 14, 2012 at 9:26 am

You are indeed a very sad butt-munch. Her Mum IS a religious professor and VERY Liberal. I actually knew her, dope.

And you’re a flaming idiot NO WHERE in my post did I write “I used to like gays…”. You freak, you don’t even know me. I STILL like gays (especially Conservative ones!) but I am no longer a blind follower of the GAY AGENDA, RIF you bloody fool!

When I was younger I always liked the gays but as I matured I realized that their radical leftist agenda was one I would NO LONGER cow to. THEY need to be treated like everyone else and I was giving them a pass. I do NOT do that any longer. They need to be held accountable for their bad behaviour just like anyone else.

You don’t get it because you’re stupid and a fool. THAT’s why you disagree with us. You also have zero reading comprehension skills and have a nasty habit of inarticulate spewing!

Skunky on January 14, 2012 at 9:52 am

“compromise”? Get your facts straight. It’s not about land. The palestinians want to destroy Israel so Israel won’t exist anymore. They’re an invented people. Most, if not all their problems are caused by themselves. They say “we love death like the Jews love life”. They want to dismantle Israel one little piece at a time. Don’t fall for the mainstream media casting Israel as a bad guy. Check out “Stand With Us” online and you’ll see a different message.

wayne on January 14, 2012 at 10:24 am

“Being born Palestinian and in Gaza is a lot like being born gay, what can you do about it?”

Duh, gee, I don’t know — uh, how about slitting your wrists? (just a suggestion) . . .

Oh, and just for the record — about “ALL the Jews who agree” — there have ALWAYS been traitorous, self-hating Jews! just go read the Bible (Old Testament AND New) and you’ll find them, soon enough! Just as with any other “race” of people, Jews, too, have their “fair share” of morons . . .

Actually, Israel doesn’t NEARLY go far enough — they are the pathetic epitome of going-out-of-their-way-to-consider-the-other-sides-viewpoint-and-safety (although we, the U.S., are not far behind them, with our insane (and inane) rules-of-engagement (as in, not using real ammunition, etc., to fire back at assholes who are shooting at you, with EVERY intent to kill — just for example) — or dropping warning-leaflets over villages WELL BEFOREHAND, informing residents that they should evacuate, as a necessary bombing strike is imminent — yeah, I know, EVERY OTHER NATION IN THE WORLD does just that — right? AND, EVERY OTHER NATION IN THE WORLD also GIVES BACK the land they’ve conquered, by virtue of defending themselves in wars that THEY DIDN’T start (or want) — so don’t even TRY to run your bullshit past me, especially on THIS website!) believe me, if I were the decision-maker, in EITHER Israel, or in THIS country (U.S.) there would be a SERIES OF HUGE, SMOKING, BLACK CRATERS, where most of the Arab (and yes, that DOES include Iran, too!) nations are — and then, we could play a macro-game of “connect the dots”

Retribution on January 11, 2013 at 5:40 pm

No, it is in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria where the “Palestinians” face the legal discrimination and segregation. Jobs, types of jobs, training and education, housing, wages , and working hours are severely limited for them. They have the greatest freedom in Israel.

Eben on May 9, 2013 at 2:05 pm

I believe the final solution is to have her live in Saudi Arabia for a year. I suspect she will be in a body bag by the end of that year given her lifestyle and dressing habits. I am sure she would have been a good serving prostitute for the German Nazis in France during WWII.

Bill Ford on January 14, 2012 at 11:34 am

Actors seem less afraid to express Jew hatred than in the past. First, it was just Vanessa Redgrave. Now, we’re starting to see it spread further. This is all going to end very badly for Jews everywhere, even the left-wing ones who are too stupid to understand what’s going on.

adam on January 14, 2012 at 1:49 pm

BTW: Dushku’s antisemitism seems to have coincided with her growing affinity for Albania. She’s become an Albanian citizen, and has an Albanian eagle tattoo on her back. She’s visited Bosnia, and has ties to the government in Albania.

It would seem that she’s imbibed the Albanian (read Muslim) hostility to Jews in general and Israel in particular. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that her journey of self-discovery has ended in Jew hatred.

adam on January 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm

This column cracked me up. I have never heard of Eliza Dushku, but then I don’t usually watch T&A movies. The main point which is probably too understated is that many people (especially Englishmen) think that they have the right to tell Jews where they may or may not live, even in their historic homeland. I don’t believe that Jerusalem should be divided or shared. Arabs do not allow Jews to set foot in Mecca. That should be the argument which is set before all Arabs (and Muslims of other ethnicities): until you allow Jews to enter Mecca, is it fair for you to expect Jews to allow Arabs to live in their holy city? The answer is a resounding No. As for Albanians—I’m a native American, and Eliza and her family get the fuck off my continent, I don’t want to share my home with racists.

I have attended CES for many years. The show, and the industry, have many Israelis, and many orthodox Jews, and at the show one can see many with kippahs and even payes and kapotes, I am certain that CES management had no idea of her anti-Israel, anti-semitic fulminations or they would not have given her the time of the day. A polite letter to the chairman of the Consumer Electronics Association would be all it takes to prevent such an unfortunate gaffe in future.

And yes, I am both pro-Israel and a religious Jew.

American Sabrah – the problem is, she can’t. She has exactly one expression – the pout – and has relied for work on Joss Whedon’s misguided obsession with her. Someone mentioned Vanessa Redgrave, but while Redgrave is every kind of despicable, when asked to she can and will act, and act beautifully. Dushku is nothing but a replaceable TV second-rater.
