VIDEO: Most Creative Cold-Weather Touchdown Dance Evah!

By Debbie Schlussel
On the one hand, adults doing this look very weird. On the other hand, points to this guy–and big NFL fines–for creativity in the cold tundra end zone. They had some funny and bizarre touchdown dances in “Any Given Sunday,” but reality trumps art.

I remember when I was a kid back in the fifties in St. Louis. Stan Musial walking back to the dug out with that ‘all in a day’s work’ look after hitting a home run. You can keep your end zone peacock displays. I’ll take male sang-froid any day.

There’s no shame, not a thing wrong, in making snow angels at any age … and soon, I’ll get to do it all over again with my grandchildren and love every minute of it.
Nice job Welker!

He’s making a snow angel after a touchdown. What’s wrong with that?

Wes Welker is not a show off like TO and others. Wes did it just to have fun. It wasn’t about the other team, it was just about fun. Go Wes Welker, Go Texas Tech.

Still can’t believe they gave him a penalty on that play. The NFL has lost its sense of humor. Luckily, the game wasn’t even close.

Hi Carl.
For those not familiar, this was an example case of the NFL’s excessive celebration penalty:

He did trip. He stubbed his toe, and then he was in agony. Agony, yeah, that’s the ticket, agony.
