Coincidentally, on the “Day Without Gay”: PLEASE Stop Sending Me Videos of Gays Singing Channukah Songs

By Debbie Schlussel
As you’ve probably heard by now, today is the “Day Without Gay,” on which gays are encouraged by gay activists to “call in gay” and not show up to work or buy lattes, so that we will see how the world would allegedly collapse without the Liberaces, George Michaels, Clay Aikens, male hairstylists and stewardesses, er . . . flight attendants of the world. Oh, and a day without attacks on Mormon churches.
By “coincidence,” a ton of Jewish people keep sending me this annoying, unentertaining video of a gay choir from Seattle, called “Captain Smartypants,” singing a traditional Channukah song, called “I Have a Little Dreidel” (dreidels are the spinning tops with Hebrew letters that are traditionally used in a Chanukah game). Captain Smartypants think they’re cute by dressing as cowboys–and they’re calling this, “Brokeback Dreidel.” Please, nooooooo. I’ve already seen The Village People, and 1/5th of them doesn’t make it any better.

I say, please make every day a “Day Without Gay.” I cannot stand this gay group singing the song. It isn’t funny. It isn’t cute. It’s just annoying. Why is it supposedly of interest when a group of Fruity Pebbles sings songs from my religion? I don’t get it. Am I supposed to appreciate this act–a group of gay men mocking my religion–for its supposed inner kitschiness and campiness? Um, no thanks.
Please, again, may every day be a Day Without This Crap. A day without AIDS, a day without lavender, a day without Barry Manilow simply doesn’t bother me too much. Ditto to a Day Without Captain Smartypants Perverting Channukah Songs.

Beside the fact that untold billions of dollars are wasted each year on AIDS research when, in fact, the disease could be permanently eradicated in one generation simply by having infected carriers abstain or use prophylaxis, simply so that male homosexuals can have the freedom to fornicate into each other’s anuses, a particularly heinous distinction is one of recruitment by “attrition.” I.e., since homosexuals cannot reproduce, the one mainstay of inccreasing and replacing their numbers is by recruitment. A well-hidden fact by PC MSM is that approximately 40% of child sexual abuse in this country is at the hands of gays. The way they hide it is by lumping it in with all forms of child abuse, but it researchable using FBI stats. Since the overwhelming majority of male sexually abused children probably never report it, the numbers could well be much higher. From a relatively small slice of the community, it’s easy to see that male homosexuals are the worst predators and they count on their crime to psychologically scar the child during formative years so that hopefully the child will adopt a gay lifestyle as an adult and repeat the process. They are despicable.

As I pointed out to a gay friend of mine, doesn’t “calling in gay” only serve to punish the employers who have hired gay people and not discriminated; and further, isn’t the harm directly proportionate to the employer’s tolerance and the number of gay people s/he employs? Or am I missing something?

They have to create the DRAMA because it is not their ! The only ones who really get it it the Drive by MEDIA aka MSM , who are going to spin this the max to make it bigger than it really is !
Enough all ready !

By all means, let’s make every day a day without gays. Fewer people would get sick eating in restaurants, and fewer kids would get indoctrinated in our schools and colleges. Just like the day without illegal aliens a few years ago. It ended too quickly.

I am slightly surprised at your take on this Debbie, but then, not really. I agree with you 100%. The surprise is that I know you are tolerant of gays in general.
Can I correctly infer that it is the demand of the “I’m gay–accept me whether you want to or not..” crowd gays that is what you are repudiating here?
Good point ibn Abu, and I think your point is the strongest one of all on this. Gays who “call in gay,” punish the very employers who have toleration to have gays on the staff. “Calling in gay” will only cause the management to cross all gays off their job candidates list for possible hire. Why wouldn’t it?

Sorry BB, I’ve got to call B.S. on this comment. I enjoy this site because it has a little more range than the purely anti-jihad sites I frequent, and because Debbie’s not hung up on being PC. Still, she seems unable to refrain from her own brand of ‘gay-bashing lite’. She’s gone after the players of the WNBA, her glee over The Lesbionic Woman was homophobic, and phrases she uses to describe gay people in general (like fruity pebbles) indicate that she has issues with gay people that most don’t.
One can always count on a little bit of anti-gay rhetoric here. Which is actually refreshing to this guy who didn’t call in gay today. Hah! Personally my view of gay people is about the same as my view of stupid people: I’m generally ambivalent towards them and find them at times funny to watch. When they get in my way they are a PITA.

How about a century without Gays?
The thought of a Gay Free Country is really encouraging to those of us that are sick of hearing about some people’s sexual preferences in the bedroom.

Now that I’ve got the thing working…what a wonderful world it would be without gays, muslums and illegal aliens. But alas, we are stuck with them and of the three, I can accept the illegals better that the other two since they aren’t always crying about wanting something that they have not earned. What a world?!!!!!!

Its one thing to say people should be allowed to live as they wish. Its another thing to force people to accept others lifestyle choices when they go against their moral beliefs. Its not funny, its not even annoying; its downright belligerent, condescending and rude. And it doesn’t make it right when its Jews who are trying to force the gay lifestyle down the throats of Jews who want nothing to do with it.

there ain’t nothin’ kosher about that!

Hey Richard,
Let’s see here who is the less informed one on the DS position. From memory, I can recall DS blog posts on her cousin who perished in the twin towers on 9-11–he was unabashedly GAY and Debbie didn’t have one negative thing to say about it–should she have? She honors her cousin’s memory–as this gay man perished trying to save others that day.
“On 9/11, I Memorialize My Heroic Cousin, Jon Schlissel, of Blessed Memory”
http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2008/09/on_911_i_memori.html
I also recall her posting on the muslims likely tossing the Jewish gay man (I think from SF) down the elevator shaft–there was no gay bashing there–none.
“What Happened to Dan Kliman?: Another Innocent American Victim of Islam Thrown Down Elevator Shaft”
http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2008/12/what_happened_t_3.html
You need to realize, DS does not always bash the gays–and I will point out that gay behavior is called “an abomination to the L–d” in the Torah. My point stands, bro–she is pretty tolerant. What say you, DS?
I have learned to be tolerant of gays in general–but (by inference only) I totally agree with DS that the line is drawn at the point where gays force us to accept their behavior–pushing for gay marriage, gay protest marches with lewd displays, domestic “partners” benefits etc.
If you are gay, please do not publicize it and expect me to say you’re just fine. You’re not.
