Entertaining, Deranged Anti-Semitic E-mail of the Day

By Debbie Schlussel
Note: Whenever they use the term “Zionist”, you know what they really mean–“Jew”, or more likely, “Dirty Jew.”
Everyone’s a pop psychologist . . .

You are pathetic.
Your over the top makeup and fake body parts speak of an unsatisfied sex-life and long term frustration. Your Zionist exclusionist world view screams I want my emotionally withholding Zionist daddy to love me, but he won’t so I will go for the approval of racist self worshipping men just like him in my never ending quest for value and self worth as described in my fathers misogynistic world view.
Pity you…..

Um, my dad is dead (and incidentally he proved his love day in and day out–and had three daughters, to whom he was hardly the misogynist). And finally, everything is 100% real on this body, except my hair color (I proudly acknowledge that I am not a dumb blonde because I’m neither dumb nor blonde).
Like I said, everyone thinks they’re my pop psychologist. Many aspire. Few–actually, none–are called.

Lots of times when these characters psychologize, they are saying more about themselves. Oftentimes, when they say that others have unsatisfied sex-lives, they are really projecting their own inadequacies onto others. They are saying more about themselves in this regard than they are about the supposed subject of their hate. Same about your father supposedly not loving you. Quite likely the writer is projecting his/her parents’ lack of love — not really hard to imagine; who could love such a pathetic person?

c f: can’t agree with ya there. While you might be about this guy, your reasoning plays right into the pop-psych fallacy that homosexuals use, i.e., “if you criticize gays, it means you’re repressing gay tendencies.” Which, of course, is pure bull crap. Rather, I think dude is just an angry neo-lib trying to insult Ms. Schlussel.
As a father of 3 very good girls, myself, I can say without reservation that Debbie’s dad did an excellent job and that she is an upstanding, thoughtful and independent American woman. I wish more women would strive to reach teh example that Debbie sets.

I agree Debbie, I would love to be your pop psychologist–when can we start?
Glad you showed us the moron(s) this Robin and Mark are.

I think it depends on the way in which we criticize gays. I don’t criticize them for their lifestyle itself; I have sympathy for them just as I do for others with serious diseases. I criticize their attempts to foist acceptance of their lifestyle on others, and for their intolerance for a society based on heterosexuality.

Sexual fantasies about Jews have been part of the twisted anti-Semitic imagination as long as there have been anti-Semites. They all seem sexually repressed so they take it on Jews in the most depraved manner imaginable. Oh – and Debbie’s sex life or lack of it, is none of their business. She’s a lot healthier, spiritually and physically, than the cowards that pity her. They are the last people on earth to deserve pity and with anti-Semites the sage advice is to kill them before they can harm the hair of a single living Jew. That’s sound for our dangerous age.

I would like to read about Debbie’s mother, too.
