Exactly and well said DS, the fools who were outside the courtroom and court building during the course of the trial ought to get themselves a job (that’s if they’re working for starters) and get a life! And Michael Jackson was a drug-addict as you mentioned Debbie, there were numerous news sources claimed that he used plenty of drugs when he was alive.

PS, did any of you listend to Hannity’s radio show 24 hours ago, is it me or was Hannity somewhat sucking up and kissing up to Michael Jackson’s legacy? If that was case with Sean Hannity, he ought to become a left winger!

Murray should have been sent to jail. What he did was against the law and he knowingly put Michael Jackson’s life at great risk. That Michael Jackson was anything other than an idiot savant begs the question.

Debbie the Dr. all but murdered MJ. I agree with the rest of the post, but it doesn’t absolve the doctor’s actions. As for the denial of bail, I agree that was a bit of celebrity justice, but I’m shedding no tears for that either. The funny part would be if Shmuley Boteach shows up again.

What the media and select peeps in this country want one to forget is what a joke MJ was BEFORE he carked it due to a drug overdose. That April, he had a presser for his “This Is It” tour and everyone treated it as a total joke and hardly ANYONE cared. NO ONE. Except those stupid nutter fans (I really thought they were a construct…and paid off by MJ to act the fool but they are still around so who knows?).

Then he died and briiiiiiing on the 1984 double-speak. Peeps suddenly cared and were celebrating him and wearing MJ T-Shirts like crazy. It did not make sense to me. I have long believed MJ to be a pedophile and he disgusted me. And this whack society let that freak adopt THREE children who had to grow up with a kid-loving pervert drug addict. This was also conveniently forgotten after his death.

Also forgotten after his death was how financially unstable he was. Articles would be written about how he was on the verge of losing it all and that strangely never transpired. Perhaps it was the Beatles that saved him.

And more importantly, I’d like to remind people of the Vanity Fair articles written by Maureen Orth. They were absolutely fascinating. She talked about his love of boys, his complex security system and his ties to the Nation of Islam and how vindictive he was.

Jackson was a freak, but I was amazed by those who bought his “innocent” crapola. He was a real sicko with many, many sick secrets. And DS is correct on nutter LaToya too. She used to say he was into little boys. MJ’s weirdo Mother was also known to call him a “fag” too.

I also believe that Diane Dimond has written quite a bit about the REAL MJ too.

Dr. Murray may have been convicted, but Michael Jackson was on a death spiral for years. With his skin-bleaching, facial mutilation through numerous plastic surgeries, his addiction to heavy dosages of prescription drugs, and his emaciated-looking body, I was surprised but not shocked when I heard he had died.

Michael Jackson was a tragedy just waiting to happen…..

Debbie, you raise some valid points. I always find it disturbing when people hang outside a jury room like a lynch mob ready to administer their version of justice.

And you are probably correct that even if Dr. Murray “just said no” to Michael Jackson in accordance with Nancy Reagan’s famous advice, Jackson would have simply shopped for another physician willing to give him the drugs he wanted. I would say that Jackson had a death wish, and just like Elvis Presley had his “Dr. Nick” ( Dr. George Nichopoulos), who helped to give Elvis the drugs that led to his early demise, so too did Jackson want to keep a drug-pusher on the payroll.

That said, physicians still have a responsibility to put the health and safety of the patient first. And that sometimes means refusing to give drugs or treatments that unnecessarily endanger the patient.

I’ve been saying for years Michael Jackson wouldn’t make to 50, so I was off by a few months. Jackson’s been dead for 20 years now his body just hadn’t hit the floor yet. The tremendous pain he must’ve lived with after chemically burning his pigment to look white is beyond reasoning. Practically slicing his nose off his face, he needed all the pain killers he could muster just to make it through the day. He could barely walk without assistance be drugs or physical. I wouldn’t have convicted Dr. Murray but I understand why this jury did. you have doctors passing out drugs like lifesavers candy.

MJ was getting injected 3x a week with 300mgm of Demerol, in addition to his Propofol use. In comparison; I broke my foot a couple years back and my physician gave me an Rx for 15-Tylenol #3’s with no refills for the pain. I asked him (smirking) for a Demerol injection and he said ‘get the hell out of here!’. I never even bothered to get the prescription filled. Jackson was a classic drug dependent addict and Murray was an incompetent quack. Michael did it to himself. Just like Elvis and Dr. Nick….

I don’t care what his patient asked for and what amount of money he paid him. He disregarded his medical oath.
