Funny VIDEO of the Day: Destined For Divorce

By Debbie Schlussel

As longtime readers know, I complain about people who check their cellphones and text in the movie theater.  But that’s nothin’ compared to this.  You can see in the look on the groom’s face that he probably realizes he made a mistake saying, “I Do,” to this chick.  This is part of what’s wrong with America, today. People are so rude, so selfish, so undisciplined that they won’t even stand for a few minutes during their own wedding without doing this. File under:  Destined For Divorce. . . or Extreme Chutzpah of the Trashy Set.

Just when you think people can’t possibly get any trashier a new set of trash crops up. The groom does look disgusted with his fat idiot of a new wife.

TRON…THE MATRIX…now, MARRIAGE.

Well, I hope she knows about “phone sex”!

This is one good reason NOT to embrace the latest technology right away. If there’s no compelling reason for it, don’t buy it!

When I hold a conversation with someone wearing a bluetooth, it’s as if what I say isn’t as important as the other person’s next phone call. When I’m speaking and people who are effected are checking their smart phones, I know something important will be missed.

This is a good example of why people should turn off their cell phones and save their batteries. Turn them on when YOU are FREE to talk or text. Don’t leave them on all the time or you too will have an embarrassing moment like this.

Courtesy. Decency. Respect.

Three words which you will not find in future dictionaries, as no one seems to have any use for them.

There is a big problem with this behavior in the workplace also. Save the texting and going on facebook for your lunch break – it is very, very annoying. And then when you try to have a conversation with one of these cracked-out people it is like talking to a zombie. Communication skills are horrible these days due to all of this technology.

Angela, ma’am, I must disagree—taliking to Zombies IS more interesting. Get the book, “How to Speak Zombie.”

It serves the groom right for not straightening her out long before going to the altar with her.

The phrase ‘You lay in the bed you make’ can be applied here.
Me thinks the honeymoon was abbreviated.

You know I was just thinking this morning about how arrogant Americans are getting to be and how much bragging they like to do. They also like to imitate each other without thinking just like sheep and monkeys. Yet they were given a lot of intelligence that they ignore in favor of the show off attitude.

It’s bad enough when someone answers a call or text on a date (a first one, especially!), but at the altar???

Hey, at least she got married…where’s YOUR husband, sweet cheeks?

Yeah, what I thought.

That fat chick is lucky she caught one. And he is the BEST she could do. Which is not saying much.

And whether our sweetie Debbis is married or NOT is NO BUSINESS of yours. So shut up, you dolt.

Not every woman wants to be married.

Michelle on November 9, 2011 at 2:33 pm

True, not every woman wants to be married. But Schlussel seems to attack other conservative women like Michelle Malkin and Sarah Palin because they don’t practice rigid sex roles in their marriages. Schlussel is 43, a single and childless careerist, so it’s hard to see her reaction any way other than jealousy.
