Ad Absurdum: ABC Family Channel Censors Term “Iranian Terrorists” (VIDEO)
It’s political correctness ad absurdum. Yes, we’ve gotten so politically correct and afraid to offend Muslims that ABC won’t allow the phrase “Iranian terrorists” on its cable network. It’s that bad.
On Sunday, October 23, ABC Family Channel broadcast the cute ’80s movie, “The Goonies.” But when a line was uttered about Iranian terrorists taking over the Sizzler Steakhouse, ABC Family bleeped out the “Iranian” part. (After being alerted by sharp reader Frank, I rented the movie and confirmed the line that was bleeped.)
Iran is only the country that sponsors BOTH Hezbollah and HAMAS Islamic terrorist groups. It’s also the country that recently plotted to perpetrate a terrorist attack on the Israeli Embassy in the U.S. while also murdering Saudi Arabia’s loathsome U.S. Ambassador, Adel Al-Jubeir, while he dined in Washington with elected officials. And that’s not to forget Iran’s role in blowing up the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires and the U.S. Embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut.
But, hey, how dare you call Iranian terrorists, “Iranian terrorists?” I guess we can’t call Rosie O’Donnell, “fat,” or Susan Sarandon, a flaming whack job. You might offend someone.

“Goonies” was one of my favorites when I was young and I still like watching it sometimes. I noticed something in one of the scenes where they bleeped out a part and it wasn’t really a curse or anything bad. The Sheriff is saying something about ’50 Iranian terrorists’ but ABC Family cut the Iranian part out. I was going to e-mail them but they have no contact information.. . . .
It was the 80’s, Iranians were a big part of terrorism back then just like today, why would they cut that out?
I bet if it said American, British or Israeli terrorists, they’d have no problem airing it. Why not cut out the part mentioning Michael Jackson too then? It looks like the Ministry of Truth is well on its way to changing history.It was pretty shocking to have ABC Family bleep that, I mean this is the channel that plays “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and other assorted trash.
Exactly. You cannot tell the truth anymore in America. What a Wussified Nation we’ve become.

How typical. I don’t become numb to this horsesh**. It makes me angrier and angrier every freaking time. Cowing to these disgusting sacks of crap. It would not happen if America spit in their faces every time they try to Alinsky us. It makes me sick.
10 years after 9/11 and we are letting these vermin change our culture as they rot it up at the same time. It’s disgusting.
And to make it so much worse, these freaks are wreaking havoc in many other countries in tandem. But that doesn’t convince the blind and dumb Americans that they are strategically trying to use our own freedoms against us. And against the world.
