The vast majority of “smart” people who went to college don’t even have basic knowledge yet are always ready to spout off some leftie talking point to be taken seriously. I met a BA once who argued with me that Lincoln was the first president of the U.S. Just goes to show you.

Many of these OWSers are complaining about all the $$ they owe in student loans. Now they can’t get a job. They should be out standing in front of their schools protesting how much the tenured profs and admins make. And protesting the crap they’ve been sold as “education”. They exit the university having no marketable skills with degrees in Psychology, AppliedDiversity,Womyns studies…blah,blah,blah.
Yeah, I really wanna hire someone like that.
Then if you do hire them, they think they ought to be CEO after a few months on the job. “‘Cause I are a collidge greduate”.

Debbie, I’m really not surprised that the folks at these rallies are this ultra stupid of Wall Street, and I’m not the least surprised that they have no clue what the SEC means (which is as you claimed, Securities and Exchange Commission). One of my sisters is unemployed and she’s trying her best to look for another job (she was laid off a month ago) and she’s NOT at any of these rallies where I live in the New York City, NY area. Since the weather is getting a little more cold, hopefully these smelly, half-witted OWS will go back home to their parents basement continue to have a chip on their shoulder and blame society for all of their misfortunes.

I heard an interview with one of the OWS “occupiers” on the radio Tuesday. She claimed to be a senior at Columbia University – which if I’m not mistaken is one of the “revered” Ivy League universities where all of the nation’s “smartest people” go to school. This girl said she was involved in OWS because she thinks Citigroup needs to be stopped. Apparently, the good folks – oops, predatory evil lenders – at Citigroup had the incredible poor judgment to grant this girl over $100,000 in student loans over the past four years to pay for her education. Now that she is a senior and facing graduation, she has discovered that there was a clause in these loans that require her to PAY THEM BACK!!! And, OMYGOD, she has to start paying them back as soon as she graduates! Which means she will have to GET A JOB!!! But she’s an ART major and there just aren’t a lot of jobs for Art majors, and she should be free to “pursue her art” without being encumbered with this suffocating DEBT! PLUS, she also discovered, reading the loan papers, that if she does NOT pay these loans, her PARENTS will have to. Oh, the humanity!!! This girl was in HIGH dudgeon talking to the reporter. But, naturally, the reporter did NOT think to ask her what she thought was going to happen when she signed up for $100,000 in student loans! What did her PARENTS think was going to happen when they co-signed? I would love to go down there with a microphone and a camera and ask THOSE questions.

My son is a junior majoring in Computer Science at one of the Top Ten public universities. He is already being courted by Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Amazon. Outside the College of Computing, you constantly find someone from one of these companies, and many more, recruiting the CS students. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know where the jobs are. I even knew that when I was in college in the 70’s. I LIKED art but knew I couldn’t get an actual JOB in art! So I majored in business. And it’s not just the students who are stupidly picking their majors – I also blame their stupid baby boomer parents, who I think are the WORST parents ever (and I’m a baby boomer)! I’ve watched them coddle their children every step of the way, always bailing them out when they got in a jam and always telling them how right they are and how wrong everyone else is. The baby boomer parents created these idiots of all the Occupy movements. I just hate stupid people!

Too funny – the poll. The protestors got right the question ‘Does President Obama control the Federal Reserves?’ But had the question been ‘Does President Bush control the Federal Reserve?’, their answer would have been yes.

The people who said that the US is experiencing ‘both’ inflation & deflation must be exhibits. Oh, and the one about where most of the budget is – everybody there thinks it’s the military. But shouldn’t they be glad that the US is out of Iraq?

And in the comments field of that article, there were people asking that they be compared to those not protesting in terms of knowing the answers to these questions. Somehow, they don’t believe in giving credit to people who don’t know something not commenting on it.

Sean”wallbanger”Hannity had on of the OWS protesters on his show last week. Somew dimbulbed liberal who said that she went to NYU. Inearly ran off the road from laughing so hard at her stupidity. Hannity asked her how the evil corporations can be responsible for the financial mess we are in but the government especially our president isn’t to blame. Hannity with his “top notch” interview skills couldn’t get past her usual slogans and idiocy to get a good answer. He did find out that she was an obama supporter(shocking) and that she has a son. Some people are just too stupid to reproduce but what are you going to do.
