I watched the sentencing arguments on-line via FOX news and was curious why they cut off the live stream as soon as the mayor stood up to be sentenced. Had I known they weren’t going to stream the entire sentence I would not have watched. And how smug did the mayor look when he was asked if he wanted to address the court. I hope these two detectives sue the living piss out of him for the “emotional distress” they now suffer because of his actions. If this guy really wanted to help the citizens of Detroit he would wash his mouth out with a .357 Magnum. And Debbie is correct once again, watch this idiot run for his mommas seat in Congress.

I was wondering the same thing myself as I watched the questionable coverage on Fox. They had the “sentencing” up in the corner of the screen and I couldn’t figure out who the man was sitting behind Kilpatrick, but they seemed to be sharing alot of inside jokes as the two of them kept talking and laughing with each other. He looked pretty smug for someone who was about to be sentenced. My guess is when the BO becomes pres, he’ll pardon him saying it was a miscarriage of justice, and in his opinion a modern day lynching as Kilpatrick’s croonies have been saying throughout this whole thing.

I thought this was in state court. If so, Obama cannot pardon him. The President can only issue pardons for crimes against the United States.
That having been said, most (all?) states allow the governor to pardon someone convicted of a state crime.

That is some good stuff!!! I can definitely use this, as a week does not pass when I encounter someone who tells me that my faith (Christianity) is a “White Man’s religion” and that the true religion of the Black man is Islam.
It’s also interesting that in all the the Nation of Islam materials I’ve read over the years, these particular verses never have come up….and I can see why!

This is an ignorant article. You can not be an elected person if convicted of a felony. At most you would have to wait until the record is expunged. That would take several years.
