Dumb Palin Criticism of the Day: “View” Hags Angry @ Palin Baby’s Bedtime, Baba Wawa Incensed

By Debbie Schlussel
It’s one thing to criticize Sarah Palin’s knowledge or lack thereof on important issues. That’s legitimate. Also legitimate is whether we should embrace the Mr. Mom paradigm.
But to claim she’s not a good mother because her baby was on the stage at Thursday Night’s Vice Presidential debate?! HUH?
Talk about nit-picking.
That was Barbara Walters’ whine against Palin on today’s edition of the ABC anti-male hag-fest known as “The View.”
To be fair, normally Marxist Whoopi Goldberg vigorously defended Palin’s decision. And there was also the usual lame, failed try by clueless faux-conservative/genuine-airhead Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Barbara Walters And the Euthanasia of Common Sense

But someone should have said: HUH? Baba Wawa, did you actually read your own last book about your own relationship with your own daughter, a gazillion husbands, and several lovers you outed? Should you really be lecturing any other mother on how to raise her kids? When is too late to have your baby stay up on the night of the debate of her life? Why don’t you have a prob with Syrian terrorists the way you do with a baby staying up late?
Ridiculous.
There are valid concerns about Palin. This ain’t one of ’em.
It’s also interesting to note that Baba Wawa had no prob spending the Fourth of July with Syrian terrorist-in-chief Bashar Assad and his wife, Asma. The Assads butchered tens of thousands and continue to do so, brutallly repressing human rights while they allow every Islamic terrorist group to operate from Syria.
Walters had no problem with that and serving as an apologist for Syrian tyranny and terrorism, but she has a problem with a baby staying up late on one night of its life. Priorities, schmiorities.
Funny, I never heard Baba Wawa whine to any of the parents of young children who’ve graced the show–Meredith Vieira, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Sherry Shepherd–about how they’ve warehoused their kids in childcare while they spouted idiocy daily. That’s more troublesome than whether a baby was up late one night in it’s life.
Wawa adopted her daughter as a baby, but apparently too late for the many late-night crying sessions that many parents have with babies. Yes, Baba, many babies are up late on more than a few occasions in their lives.
Attacking a candidate because her baby was up late? That’s just stupid. I can’t wait for the ad:
Paid for by Sleepy Babies for Obama-Biden.

I had a chance to go to the 92nd street YMHA to hear a Birthday tribute to Elie Wiesel this past Thursday. It featured speakers Barbara Walters, Theodore Bikel, Arthur Gelb and others. I had really wanted to attend this event, but the fact that mush mouth Baba Wawa was going to speak about Humanity and Peace had me so appalled I skipped it. How anyone went to hear this hypocrite speak is beyond me. Please explain why she is put on such a pedestal?

I heard Hassleback was leaving the show. But the rumors were false. You would have been the perfect replacement. Morning TV wouldn’t be the same. 4 against 1 and they still would need 5 other wacked out liberals to make it even against you. I hate that show anyway, but she is a token stooge to make conservatives look bad. I hate Whoopi and her Jack o’Lantern Face and the phony legend but true hag B.Walters.

Let’s see. The debate was in the central timezone. Alaska is 3 hours behind. The baby was probably still on Alaska time, so of course it’s awake. Duh! And even if the baby had adjusted to the local timezone, so what. Babies keep their own time and are awake/asleep whenever they feel like it.

If only Jack’s gas machine was really on in this photo! Baba Wawa–please go away–OK don’t croak–just go away for good.

Baby up too late? Who are they kidding? My wife breastfed each of our three children, and they were up when they wanted to be, and asleep when they wanted to be. Usually on a two hour cycle. I know I’ll get grief, but I’m not one to “train” a child like a dog, to sleep on schedule. They always develop their own schedules, which mostly co-incide with the parents. Been there, done that!

Sen. Brooke has three children. I wonder what the effect was on his children when they learned of his affair with Barbara Walters. I wonder what the effect would have been if they found out earlier, when they were younger. Hopefully, since Ms. Walters is concerned about the impact of adult life on children, she will reflect on this as well.

If Walters remembers correctly babies pretty much sleep everywhere…at anytime. Palin’s child appears to be very well cared for and doted on by the entire family.

Debbie, you’d be hilarious on the View. BW would have a heart attack on air and you’d have to taser your co-yentas to keep them off you.

Some of the stuff can be a little over the top depending on which side you are on although as I have commented I don’t think much of Palin and many polls are suggesting that this is part of the reason (the economic mess being the biggest one) McCain’s numbers are dropping. I wll say my biggest issues with Palin are
1. As Debbie has said and I have to agree I don’t think the role reversal is a good message and women should want men that they would NOT want their wife to put career before their children and to be honest a DECENT man would want this as I see a lot of women fall for indecent men because of feminism.
2. Fiscally she is a liberal
3. I have never seen her have any concern for men. It is always women women women and we should care about women absolutely but we should care about the men too and that scares me especially since I don’t even know if she cares if her son died in Iraq. Some women think that is what men are for. To die in endless wars that the leaders start for various reasons not all of them good reasons.
4. My biggest complain of Palin is some of her followers who seem to feel if you have issues with her you are mentally ill or JEALOUS of her and ARE NOT A REAL CONSERVATIVE and the behavior of some of the Palin supporters has just been quite disgusting and scary to be honest with you. They don’t believe in free speech and criticism and she plays to this poor women type that lead to this kind of behavior which is in no way democratic or supportive of free speech.

When is Barbara going to move to Cuba to be with her heart throb Fidel? She could be really happy there and so could we.

Debbie,
You commented on Palin not being able to name a Supreme Court decision with which she did not agree. I spend a minimum of an hour a day reading different editorial writers and hard news stories and consider myself very informed. I thought about the question asked Palin about Supreme Court opinions and how I would have answered and for the life of me, I couldn’t come up with anymore of an answer than Palin did. Of course I disagree with letting the prisoners out of Cuba or supplying them with attorneys at tax payer expense, but I wouldn’t have been able to just spit it out. So lay off Palin. She is NOT a dumb woman and with time, I’m sure she’ll be better “on her feet”. I like her very, very much.
