Six Flags to Workers: Please, No Shorts on Muslim Day

By Debbie Schlussel
The behavior of Six Flags amusement parks in appeasing extremist Muslims allied with terrorists is yet another example of why I tell my fellow Americans and Westerners not to rely on the Jewish community for the kosher seal of approval on what is and isn’t acceptable in the war on terror.
Six Flags, owned by Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder and run by Mark Shapiro–both Jews, is kowtowing to Muslims by hosting a special day for them . . . and asking workers not to wear shorts. No shorts at an amusement park when it’s still summer-like weather?

It’s Muslim Day at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday and Santa Clarita resident A.J. Jones is curious to know if the park hosted other religious events in the past.

“Great American” Amusement Park Now Kowtows to Islam

This is Magic Mountain’s first year hosting Muslim Family day. It is far from its first time hosting a religious event, said park spokeswoman Sue Carpenter.
“I think it’s great as long as they open it up to everyone,” said Jones, whose friend works at the park.
Jones is concerned the park’s supervisors asked the employees to wear pants Saturday to cover their legs despite the unusually high heat. “I think its kind of strange,” Jones said. “It’s been so hot for pants.”
But Carpenter said not to worry.
“Out of respect, we request the employees wear their uniform pants, instead of their shorts,” Carpenter said. “It is only a request, it is not mandatory.”
The Islamic Circle of North America requested the day as a celebration for end of Ramadan. Muslim Family Day comes just five days after the end of Ramadan, a Muslim religious observance in which participating Muslims fast from dawn until sunset.
Park officials will try to meet the Muslim group’s needs as it does with any other group, Carpenter said.
“There will be a plethora of things to do for the youth and the entire family including halal food stalls, ethnic bazaar and family entertainment” the event’s Web site states.
The group is hosting Muslim Family and Youth Days in seven other United States cities this fall.

Shorts, today, non-Halal hot dogs, tomorrow. And the next day, the garb of non-Muslim female patrons to the amusement park.
The Islamic Circle of North America openly supports HAMAS and Hezbollah and refuses to condemn them. It has been under investigation for fundraising for and money laundering to Islamic terrorist groups.
Not sure why any amusement park would ask it’s employees to do anything for ICNA “out of respect”. The group deserves none.
This is America. When will we decide to take it back?
If you live in the Washington, DC area, it might be a good idea to let your neighbor, Daniel Snyder, know what you think about this. And think twice about pouring money into his Redskins.
Six Flags calls itself “Six Flags Great America.” But what it’s doing is neither great nor American.

Liberals that screwed up the country in the 60’s and 70’s will be the death of America. Personally I haven’t been to Cedar Point in about 10 years, but if and when I do decide to pay too much for a ticket and get annoyed by rude teens and early 20 somethings, I’ll certainly think twice. No, come to think of it, I won’t, they can keep that s–t.

Maybe Six Flags has a new “72 Virgins” ride….

Shootist on October 2, 2008 at 12:25 pm

“72 Virgins” ride. Heh. Also in the arcade: Whack-A-Jew.

bouzouki on October 2, 2008 at 2:08 pm

It won’t do the owners any good. The Muslim employees will still try to mess them up, and the customers will still try to cheat & get free rides, etc. Appeasement never works.

They could just adopt an unofficial policy of not hiring people unless they can work any position in the park. Especially the hot dog stands and pizza making (pepperoni’s). Can’t do it? Buh, bye. How about whack a turban? Or a good target for the fully automatic bee bee rifle game could be a picture of bin Laden you must completely shoot all pieces of his face, or the crescent moon.

There are a few things I don’t get about your post on the Six Flags’ “Wear Your Pants to Muslim Day” guidance. First of all, I’ve been to Egypt and seen tourists from all over wear shorts and somewhat revealing clothing in the heat, and while some Egyptian men leered they didn’t start protesting. Six Flags says it’s supposed to be out of respect. For what? Muslim sense of propriety? Well then why not make all the female employees wear head scarves (hijabs)? How about long sleeves to cover their arms? The problem with doing something like this “out of respect” and then making it optional for your employees is that a) you make your defined act of showing respect optional, meaning some of your employees by definition won’t be showing respect, and b) by deferring to perceived respect for their religion you now have given them license to say that “well you’ve done this out of respect, so if you don’t also do THAT you don’t respect my religion.” You also don’t know which version of Islam is defining the respect. Some are okay with women with just a head scarf, others require head-to-toe covering. Perhaps it’s time to say “you know what? It’s time to assimilate and get over the fact that while you’re Muslim WE’RE not. It’s hot so we’re wearing shorts. Get over it.”

When you said Daniel Snyder, I felt so glad to be a Ravens fan.
You people better wake the fuck up, before everything we enjoy and love in this country gets kowtowed to radical islam.

Note to SF workers:
On Muslim day, ladies – cleavage, lots of cleavage.
Guys – tight pants, and if you need to, roll up a sock and stick it down into the crotch area.
All – smile a lot.

HUH, wear no shorts on Muslim day. WHY?
Why can’t they just be natural, or come out with a statement of no veils, or no Burga’s day. Or come on, if you show me your’s, I’ll show you mine day! /Sarc

Add Six Flags to the boycott list.
If it’s still open to the general public, then normal people (Infidels) will still wear their shorts and bathing suits (if the water park is still open), so why the fuss about employees wearing shorts? The general public will still be wearing shorts!
Also, if the water parks are open and the muzlums bathe with their clothes on, I can only imagine what the ring-around-the-pool will be like!
Make a statement and take back America – get out the word and boycott Six Flags on muzlum day. If they want to pander to the muzlums, then let’s see how much money the park will lose when the Infidels don’t show up.
BTW, to all the the century savages who read this site: I hope you all had a very happy Ramadamadingdong!

A bunch of Scottsmen should show up in kilts, and show the muslems how to do cartwheels. Then give them a grand finale with a “braveheart salute” with the kilts.

Since it’s “only a request and not mandatory” what I would love to see is the whole Six Flags staff show up to work in their shorts as a big EFF YOU to the Mohammedans. Think it’ll happen? Prolly not. Sad, really.

Madame Vengier on October 2, 2008 at 6:24 pm

Dear Six Flags workers,
Kindly adhere to the recommendations made to please not wear shorts on Muslim day.
Just come to work in your undies.
Thank you,
Management

Ah, now I get it. Thanks for the heads-up on this one Debbie.
Mark Shapiro
Director
Shapiro has also spearheaded Six Flags’ foray into international development, recently announcing an historic agreement with Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, to develop the first exclusive Six Flags theme park outside of North America – Six Flags DUBAILAND. The 5 million-square-foot park is scheduled to open in 2011 and the project marks the first of several Six Flags parks to be built across the Arab world and beyond.

Just heard on the news this morning about the Muslim Family Fun Day held on 9/12. Very quickly changed our vacation plans. Fired off a quick e-mail to Six Flags letting them know how I feel. It pays to investigate where your AMERICAN dollars are going.

Linda on July 20, 2010 at 11:01 am

I am muslim and I also happen to be American born and bred. Clearly you’re ignorant.

I don’t really think this is an appropriate request to make though, if Muslims are allowed to wear burqas etc., I don’t see why park workers shouldn’t be allowed to wear shorts. I guess they’re just trying to make everyone comfortable. Whatever

All of you commenting against Muslims are the worst excuses for Americans.

i want a christian day at six flags and 1 for all other religius days will never step a foot in six flags again

Wait a minute, those Muslims don’t stop smelling bad out of respect for us. They don’t get out of their “pajamas” out of respect for us. Why are we such sissies? Why are we letting them take over our country? What other country would allow this?

Angel on July 22, 2010 at 12:35 am

This is a JOKE on us and our dead!!!!!This is not a place I will ever go to again. EVER

B. Myrick on August 1, 2010 at 5:05 am

Wow, why are all of you guys hating on Muslims? I happen to be 100% Muslim, but I was born and raised in America, so were both of my parents. But, I don’t understand why the workers can’t wear shorts. I mean yeah Muslims can’t wear shorts but I don’t care if other people do…. and to all you people that are hating on Muslims, just stfu. You don’t know us, you all probably think every Muslim has a bomb with them, but guess what, the people like Osama Bin Laden, are NOT Muslims, it says it in our Quran(Koran) after you kill anyone you are not a muslim, and you will burn in hell for the longest time. So stop hating and just shut up, PLEASE!

Well, you need to re-read your nonsense book of intolerance, hatred, persecution and supremacism. That ideology is not compatible with a civilised society. It is responsible for 270 million deaths over 14 centuries, more than Hitler and Stalin combined.
