That Madonna is a Real Class Act

By Debbie Schlussel

Glad she’s pro-Israel and didn’t give in to Palestinian jihadists, but clearly faux-kabbalah didn’t cure Madonna of being a piece of crap. What a rude biotch:

Reader Ari:

Note to self: please keep current with Madonna’s flower preferences….

Maybe her 20-something Muslim boyfriend, Ibrahim, doesn’t like the hydrangeas.

Did she go from being a pop singer to a flyweight champion boxer?

I absolutely loathe madonna louise ciccone.

Private Eye on September 7, 2011 at 4:47 pm

I’ve heard that Madonna was a bitch from people who met her.

Matthew on September 7, 2011 at 4:59 pm

Ah Madonna, the so-called ‘Queen of Pop’.

Her credentials include:
1.Not being able to sing well, especially live
2.She can’t play an instrument (for most of her career), compose music or write songs.
3. She uses porn to sell records (but of course, to her its female empowerment).

And clearly, rather than appreciate someone’s gift and sentiment behind it, she is completely ungrateful creature..

What a wonderful role-model she is. Different children to different men. Her first kid’s dad she didn’t even bother to marry first. And as for Guy Ritchie, well he just another in a long,long,looooooooooong line of conquests.

3 decades into her career, it’s at least reassuring to realise that Madonna hasn’t changed one bit — she’s still as big a bitch as she’s ever been. But hey, her put-on English accent is now saying that stuff..

Barry on September 7, 2011 at 5:04 pm

    Wrong, amigo. I saw her in concert back in 1987 and she put on a great show. She made a believer out of me. “Who’s That Girl?” Her name is Madonna. I wish she would have a few healthy meals, though.

    Speaking of which, anorexia is catching these days among the women. Jesus, man. Did you see Christie Brinkley’s recent photo? Bag of bones.

I saw this last evo on the DailyMail and hoped that your would post it.

This aging beast has always been what she always has been. A narcissistic “see you next Tuesday”. As a teen I always wondered why people would want to be a fan of this cruel bitch. Her music wasn’t even that good to want to overlook her nastiness. I don’t know what it is like to look up to someone I do not respect, so I never had the love for this aging skank.

I NEVER thought she had a sense of humour…but she certainly has a sense of skank. And if you think it’s cool to be a 53 year old hag and dating a 20something opportunist…you have no idea what cool is. It’s actually sad and pathetic and “dating” someone younger than you (male or female) shows a deep, psychological disconnect. Someone (or both) in the “relationship” is very, very unhealthy. If one wants to celebrate that, knock your dumb self out.

And that she has a Moooslim boy-toy shows me she doesn’t get it. But I never thought this POS EVER got it.

(When I was Liberal, I could see right through this DB. I NEVER though (based on her horrible and conceited attitude) she cared for anyone but herself. I was amazed when people didn’t see through her…especially when she faked she was concerned about AIDS. I knew this aging shrew never cared for anyone but herself. Feh! Why people get all crazy over this rude tw*t, I’ll never know. I think she has ruined American culture.)

I absolutely loathe low-class chicks from Detroit that speak with British accents.

matt on September 7, 2011 at 5:58 pm

Wow! So much vitriol just for one “skank” on video! I’d love to see what you have to say about/to someone who’s actually done something to you personally …

Cecilie on September 7, 2011 at 6:32 pm

Cecilie, do you make it a habit to be an apologist for nasty people? Why??

Skunky on September 7, 2011 at 6:48 pm

Skunky, I just went onto Cecilie’s website and I looked at his/her “BlogRoll”, and who does this person have in his/her’s blogroll? None other than Pamela Gellar’s website, “Atlas Shrug” and other charlatan conservatives who claim that their against jihad!

Cecilie, just stick to the topic for once instead of belittling the messenger with your own stupidity. That’s all, I’m saying this for you’re own good Cecilie.

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on September 7, 2011 at 7:21 pm

That’s right Sean. I hope Cecilie listens to your advice too. It would be very beneficial to her in the long-run.

I think it was Eyes who a few threads back quoted the famous saying “Those who are kind to the cruel will be cruel to the kind”. I especially appreciated it since he also posted the source…which I never knew…other than Nick Lowe, of course (as a child of the 70s). For me, I get very shirty at dopes who want to apologize for shi**y people. I don’t abide it well and I don’t respect those who don’t value themselves enough to know certain people don’t deserve respect.

Skunky on September 7, 2011 at 8:04 pm

I don’t know much about horticulture, and thus have no idea why anybody would love or hate any given type of flower. I looked up “Hydrangea” on Wikipedia. Like many plants, it is moderately toxic if eaten, which is neither here nor there, as it’s generally only used for ornamental purposes. Much like plastic flowers.

Come to think of it, my opinion of Madonna is pretty much equal to my opinion of Hydrangea. While she makes some people sick, and others swoon, all she’s ever made me do is shrug my shoulders. The fact that 25 years after the fact, Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany are merely names that pop up whenever people are discussing 80s pop culture, while this woman continues to somehow remain in the public eye, is the ultimate testimony to life’s arbitrarity.

Irving on September 7, 2011 at 8:11 pm

    Irving, your last sentence is indeed a very acute one. But I must say that I have to blame the (bad) taste of so many silly Americans rather than any savvy or genius of haggy, old “Madge”. I have always blamed and looked down on those who have idolized her. Even if she had the talent, she certainly has never respected ANY of her fans. And for those who love her, to not see that, makes them look worse than she (is).

    And, I myself LOVE hydrangeas. They are so beautiful to me.

    And I loved Barry’s post!!

    Skunky on September 7, 2011 at 8:26 pm

@Skunky

Thanks Skunky. I appreciate your posts too!

Barry on September 7, 2011 at 10:38 pm

@ Matt: I think she’s from Romulus or something, somewhere outside of Detroit/Metro area, but she’s not a Detroiter. I’ve met some of the finest people I’ve ever known in my life in inner Detroit and the suburbs. Also has the best good, cheap food/junk food anywhere in the country.

DS_ROCKS! on September 8, 2011 at 12:00 am

I was never a fan of madonna even in her heyday when she first appeared in the music scene. Even back then, I heard that she was a bitch and her acting in several movies did not make her no star at all. I think the only reason why she is PRO-Israel is because of the Kabbalah beliefs she has. If the Kaballah can somehow be associated with Islam, she would immediately embrace it. I think she is just an opportunist that knows how to get people to think of her as progressive and open minded. Look at all the suckers that bought her music and her porn book. She is also a hypocrite ?I found most liberal are) who made racy videos, and porn book she called “art” and yet when asked why she is living in the UK, she said that she did not want her children to be exposed to American television and the crap it showed. Too bad the riots last month did not come near her home.

Mario on September 8, 2011 at 12:22 am

Don’t you love that anorexic look?

Red Ryder on September 8, 2011 at 12:52 pm

When I think of MADonna:

1. she’s the best pop-star every created by Man;
2. I think of the classic Metallica tune “Damage Incorporated” and sing “MADonna Incorporated” instead;
3. I see gays voguing to “Vogue”;
4. out of all the songs that she had put out, only “Live to Tell” comes out as the only listenable one of the lot. Hands-down;
5. I recall all the lap-dancers I had who dressed like her. And probably had worse hygene;
6. I swear that in the 80s, I had very crude and scary dreams about her doing crude and scary things to me (that I should NEVER disclose in this thread);
7. she only becomes “important” for at least 15 seconds. Then, nothing; and
8. she was married to Sean Penn at one time. Hüsker du? (Do you recall – obscure 80s punk pop reference)

She’s just a performer, for goodness’s sake. Move along, move along.

NEXT…

The Reverend Jacques on September 8, 2011 at 2:41 pm

She’s a “performer”- yes. But a businesswoman first and foremost.

Not Ovenready on September 8, 2011 at 7:02 pm

I did the unthinkable, just for y’all. I watched/listened to several of Madonna’s videos, then several from Lady Gaga.

Trash, of course, both of them. But then I pretty much think music from anyone but a fairly small number of classical composers is trash.

That said, Madonna was a fine performer; indeed, she was quite wonderful as a singing dancer. For example, in “Lucky Star,” she managed to communicate aided only by two co-dancers in a completely white space. I mean, I’m gay, and even I found her hot, and not in a gay way.

I suppose nobody really cares about my opinion of Lady Gaga. But as I have suffered though these videos, you’ll get my opinion nonetheless. I actually think that her music, despite being trash, is pretty darned sophisticated for being non-classical–far more so than anything Madonna ever did. Who knows if she wrote any of it. Also, in fairness, she’s actually quite funny, even ironical at times. Naturally, this is the first time I have ever seen any of her videos, so I don’t know if my comments are old hat.

I tried kabbalah for a while when I was younger but I found it to be useless, I could never get the eyeball to stay on the little marble.
