John McCain Versus the Crowd: Town Hall Mtg’s Crowd Wants Tougher Immigration Enforcement, English

By Debbie Schlussel
Hmmm . . . it sounds to me like any one of these people at a John McCain campaign event (but for John McCain) would make a much greater President than the two main choices we’ve got:

PIPERSVILLE, Pa. — Sen. John McCain has tilted his position on immigration to the right, but he continues to be greeted by supporters who want him to take an even tougher line.
At a town-hall meeting at Worth & Company Inc., a woman asked: “Why as an American do I have to push a button to speak English?” The crowd roared with applause.
“I think you struck a nerve,” Sen. McCain said.

“I’ll tell you, I really get ticked,” the woman continued. “You go into Lowe’s and it says ‘Entrada,’ ” or entrance. [DS: Wait ’til they check out Dearbornistan.]
Sen. McCain gave his standard reply that comprehensive immigration reform, which he pushed for, can’t happen until the borders are secure. After that, he said, the nation needs a temporary-worker program “that’s truly temporary,” and must address the 12 million people in the U.S. illegally.
But he also said that the U.S. should be a welcoming place. “There’s a great thing about America and that is that we welcome all cultures from all over the world,” he said. “And we love the Hispanic heritage. We love the Irish heritage.”
Sen. McCain quickly added: “But English must be learned by everybody.” Applause followed.

Exit Question: Will he have the guts to utter that last line at the La Raza convention?
[That’s a rhetorical question.]

Yes indeed, this country should always be a welcoming place; we should always welcome all foreigners and immigrants… AS LONG AS THEY COME HERE LEGALLY! THAT IS WHAT HAS BUILT THIS COUNTRY; STOP TRYING TO PERVERT THAT, SENATOR MCCAIN!!!

You’d think Cannon’s primary defeat in Utah would wake these people up, but no—–

I love the Irish heritage too (my wife’s ancestors basically got off the boat and into Union blue). But know what I love most? Overwhelmingly, they came here LEGALLY.

There are mexican stations, am and fm, EVERYWHERE you go in the Southeast now. I’ve seen a drastic change all over the Southeast, eastern NC, Connecticut is INUNDATED, and of course Chicagoland…in the last 10 or 12 years. Also, in the Midwest, and Denver is a freaking joke, it’s almost as mexican as Chicago.
John McCain isn’t running to win, he’s a stalking horse. 5 Republican Senators aren’t running, I think some of the Republicans have been blackmailed, or coerced somehow…Mitch McConnell, Minority Leader says it’s “impossible” for Republicans to take back the Senate, not that it would matter, lol.
The Republican Party has made it’s own arrangements, IMO, and it doesn’t include representing us, either as Americans or Conservatives. They’ve got their own deal for power for themselves, and it involves letting the Mexican Families get their way. Screw us. We don’t have a party, or a country. Don’t kid yourself.

Yiddish Steel, what’s the difference between legal and illegal? If they completely overwhelm us, with their own language, flag, ethnicity, nationality or trans-nationality, religion, birth rate…it doesn’t make any difference if you split hairs about legality. They don’t like the Gringo Founding Fathers, and they don’t particularly like you. They aren’t going to assimilate, they’re going to take your land from you. And when you’re the last of your kind in a given neighborhood, they’re not going to give you consideration because you weren’t ‘prejudiced’.

King Abdullah says ‘get used to it’, lol (WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF OIL). And we bring in millions more peasants every year, so it’ll be a complete mess when this economy collapses, and the government falls. They don’t have the $300 billion for another ‘bailout’; it’s not going to fool the markets anyway, they’re not stupid. What a circus this country is.
I hope you all have silver, gold, bullets, energy stocks, and a place to grow some food, ha.

As long as ICE/CBP are running the show, we can look forward to panty-waist politics allowing these vermin to populate our great nation, regardless of which party has the reigns in DC.
