Must-See Video: The BEST Al-Jazeera Clip I’ve EVER Seen!

By Debbie Schlussel
I’ve long been a fan of scholar Mordechai Kedar, as was my late father, who introduced me to his work. Dr. Kedar, who speaks fluent Arabic, Hebrew, and English, is professor of Arabic Studies at Israel’s Bar-Ilan University and has written a great deal on Islam, Syria, and Arabic history–he is an expert on all of them. I’ve cited his work on this site, and he is very learned on Jerusalem and its true history as the eternal Jewish capitol versus its unimportance in Islam until recently. He is also a scholar at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies.
Dr. Kedar was recently on Al-Jazeera, and I can say–without qualification–that it’s the best few moments I’ve ever watched on the Terrorist News Network. I don’t agree with his statement that “G-d-willing, there will be a Palestinian State in the West Bank.” (They have a state there–it’s called Jordan.) But other than that, this is a broadcasting masterpiece (thanks to reader Herb for the tip):

We were here when your forefathers were drinking wine, burying their daughters alive, and worshipping idols.

Hey, Al-Jazeera, he just ate you for lunch. Moumtaz [Arabic]-Metzuyan [Hebrew]-Excellent!
One other thing, if anything, the so-called “West Bank” was not and is not “no man’s land,” as Ma’arat HaMachpelah–the cave tombs of the Jewish forefathers–is there, as was Joseph’s Tomb (until it was destroyed by Palestinian Muslim savages, a redundant phrase).
As Herb notes:

If only our “leaders” were smart enough to speak as plain as Kedar does it would ultimately save lives.

But instead we’re pandering to our enemies, and they’re laughing. So more lies will be lost.
This video should be must-viewing for Condi Clueless, who could learn a thing or two from Dr. Kedar.
E-mail Dr. Kedar and congratulate him on his magnificent Al-Jazeera performance.

I don’t mean to hijack the thread but I just read this on the Huffington Post:
Israel-Hamas Truce To Begin Thursday
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/06/17/israel-hamas-truce-to-beg_n_107534.html
“Israel refused to confirm a deal, but said a “new reality” would take hold if Palestinian attacks end.”
[NB: NOT SURE HOW THIS IS A “NEW” REALITY, SINCE EVERY ONE OF THE GAZILLION PREVIOUS HAMAS-ISRAELI TRUCES HAS BEEN BROKEN BY HAMAS WITHIN MINUTES AND NEVER LASTS, AS IT IS MERELY A REBUILDING AND REGROUPING TIME TO ARM AND PLAN FOR NEW ATTACKS ON ISRAEL. DS]

The day will come when the size of the land will not be enough for the Israeli and the Palestinian population.
Israel shouldn’t give any of its land to the Palestinians.
And the Palestinians should move to Jordan.
If it’s not going to happen through war, it will happen through population explosion.
There will be no peace between the Palestinians and the Jews. How can it be when it’s rooted in the core belief of the Muslims, in their Qur’an?
Unless Muhammad comes back from Hell and orders the Muslims to love everybody, especially the Jews, there will be no peace between the followers of the “religion of peace” and the civilized world.

Bravo, Dr. Kedar! At last, somebody who isn’t so strangled by political correctness he tells it like it is! This country needs a lot more people as brave as him, unafraid to get on TV and let it all out.
Thanks, Debbie, you made my day.

Don’t worry!
I just checked the definitive source and I can resolve this 6000 year old question.
God gave Israel to Abraham. That settles it.

BRAVO! EXCELLENT, TRUTHFUL, HONEST VIDEO (on the part of the Israeli and not the lying muzlum scumbag)!
Yes, only if our feckless, cowardly world “leaders” would speak the truth about the lies, deceit, and barbarism that is islam and all things muzlum, will these 7th century barbarians be put back in their place and roam the deserts for all eternity.
Instead, we get a bunch of gutless half-wits who would gladly put our necks on the chopping block in order to appease these savages and be nominated for the Nobel Peace-less Prize.

Superb exchange & perfectly argued by Dr. Kedar.
To bad he didn’t put the icing on the cake by also adding what Moo-HAM-mad’s wife said about his so-called “Nights Journey” to that farthest place & NEVER leaving his bed & his laughable “ride” aboard the mythical creature “al-Buraq”.
I can visualize scuzlim heads exploding over this exchange on jihad-TV network.

A Jew builds a home. It takes an anti-Semite to raise the act of a Jew building a home to a capital crime.
Look at how frantic the Al-Jazeera commentator gets over the simple act of Jews building homes. He’s just frantic; frothing at the mouth.
Does anyone else besides me see this as pure unadulturated anti-Semitism?

There is NO Santa Claus on June 17, 2008 at 4:49 pm

Yes! What an absolutely refreshing lack of political correctness on the part of Dr. Kedar. Yes, if only our US leaders would stand up with such unabashed and bold patriotism! If, only…Senator John would show the same…gonadular fortitude.

I sent the good Dr. an email and he actually replied back!! (Neat!) He asked that I disseminate an article that he wrote about 8 years ago called, “How did Jerusalem come to be so holy to Moslems?” or: “Why and when was the myth of al-Aqsa created?”
(Debbie: Would you like me to post the article that he sent me, or do you have it somewhere? Or, I could forward it to you. Whatever you want. It is kind of long, but not horribly so.)
[C: YOU APPARENTLY DID NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS IN THIS ENTRY. AS YOU WILL NOTE, I NOTED THAT I HAVE CITED HIS WORK. CLICK ON THAT LINK AND IT WILL TAKE YOU HERE:

The truth is, the problems of Jerusalem were created by weak, spineless Israeli leaders. Years ago there was NEVER any talk about dividing Jerusalem. Now it’s a bargaining chip.
Arabs do what Arabs do. You don’t need to encourage or appease them.

“G-d-willing, there will be a Palestinian State in the West Bank.”
Is a a cry to other Muslims. It’s a Jihaad mode.
And no there will never be Palestinian state in Israel. The real GOD Yahweh would never permit it.

The best part of the video is when the host tries to assert that Jerusalem is in the Koran, Kedar holds his ground, and the host just gives up 2 seconds later, because he’s just wrong.

Ouch!! That had to have hurt

I am neutral in this argument as It does not pertain to me except if it leads MY country into a war like it’s about to with Iran. From what I see there are just as many people on both sides who are unwilling to compromise. everyone wants it all, well unless you can live together that is not going to happen.
I am really not trying to be a jerk but it’s getting kind of old, I have been hearing about this problem since I was a kid, and it has been going on a lot longer than that. Either learn to live with each other or fight it out and resolve it once and for all. All this attempted one upmanship is not working, and neither is the localized rocket attacks.

mfee01 on June 18, 2008 at 9:53 am

mfee01: Whats going on between Israel and “Palestine” has been replicated throughout the world, in more or less the same environment. Its a classic issue of moslem vs non-moslem where the moslems try to kick you out of YOUR country, or impose all sorts of crap when they occupy YOUR land.
I’m from India and my country has seen a lot of crap from these barbarians for over 800 years. Several times, they’ve attempted to wipe out our history (literally) by burning the ancient texts so that the “future history of India” could begin with the advent of islamists. Those savages aren’t happy and even though we gave them their own land called Pakistan, they want more and more and more… Its too late for India, the second most populous country for moslems, to revert and fight back.
Israel has been fighting these barbarians for over 3000 years and hey they’ll never give up. They shouldn’t!! Its really laudable they are standing up for what is theirs even though its been a long time. You can’t “live with each other” if moslems are involved, its been proven in India, Africa, many parts of Asia and now Europe. Either you become their dhimmi or you’re eliminated. They never get tired of taking whats NOT THEIRS. Its not something you can ignore because its been going on for so long.
Lessons learnt from other country are valuable, particularly in this context and we need to give Israel our complete support.

“We were here when your forefathers were drinking wine, burying their daughters alive, and worshipping idols.”
Wait just a minute. Don’t the Muslims kill their own daughters in Honor killings. The Muslims are very proud of themselves for that. But wait- What about all that hashi they grow wnd smoke Morocco, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. What are talking about wine for?
I live in New York. All those young Muslim men working strip clubs near 42street. Drugs and Pornography. Check out the stores on Fulton street in downtown Brooklyn owned by Muslim merchants. They have kinds sex aides and all kinds or disgusting porno things in their clothing store. Is it brooklyn or Ancient Rome?

“But wait- What about all that hashi they grow wnd smoke Morocco, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. What are talking about wine for?”
I’m sorry that, “but wait- What about all those multiple wives, the trafficking of young Asian and African women for prostitution, and the growing and selling of all that Opium, and Hashi in Morocco, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Malisia, Indonesia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Northern Africa. And host of other Muslim nations. No to mention the slave trade. So much for Islam morality or integrity.

dannygirl on June 18, 2008 at 1:22 pm

Dr. Kedar is priceless.
I just loved where he told the Al-Jazeera moron that Jerusalem was not mentioned in the Koran right after the idiot said it was.
He even went on to tell him that Al-Jazeera cannot rewrite the Koran with the only response…. dead silence, then; “Let’s talk Politics, Please.”
If only Condi Clueless took classes from Dr. Kedar. For that matter, the whole US State Department should be forced to take his classes and their employment be based on passing his history classes with at least a 95% grade.

What an amusing exchange!
Not only is the Muslim claim on Jeruselem new, but isn’t it interesting that the Dome of the Rock shrine just so happens to be right on top of the old temple ruins? I am quite sure that this was done to irk the Jews and Christians.
I’m no Israeli apologist and have several major criticisms of Jews and Israel, but in my 48 yrs, arabs and muslims have shown that they are an intolerant, totalitarian religion. Much like a cancerous tumor, Islam is metastasizing though out the world, destroying everything it touches. If there is a hell, Islam must have come from it.
I would be very amused if a huge bulldozer pushed the “Dome of the Rock” right off the top of the old Temple grounds. That would make a great Al Jazeera clip!!
On the subject of Muslims being hypocrytes…I recently spoke with a young muslim couple. Both were from the part of Pakistan where the Taliban remnants are attacking Afganistan. The female told me that her family was well connected in tribal politics and they real problem in this region of Pakistan was outside influence and not the Taliban. I challeged her statement and she babbled on some compete nonsense all the while doing shots of whiskey with her boyfriend! We were in a hotel bar in Washington DC. She also mentioned that she had more loyalty to Pakistan than the USA even though she was an American citizen!
