By Debbie Schlussel
So, liberal reporter, Isiah Carey, shows his true self when a bug flies into his mouth, live on the air. He starts going off on small town American “country.” First, watch the original video, then the hilarious remix. STRONG LANGUAGE WARNING.

What’s really hilarious is when he goes from talking the King’s english to Eubonics in 1 nanosecond!!!! Just proves that you can talk the black man outta the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto outta the black man.
BTW, ghetto is a Jewish word.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Don’t you know he loves mocking us to his friends with his ‘White voice’. That’s a scream.

My, what a charming example of urban decorum and class. /sarcasm
With people like him in the cities, it makes me glad I live in the country.

is that guy from the detroit market?

PNAMARBLE on June 13, 2008 at 6:38 pm

John Harper, please don’t be fooled by the mainstream media, no-talent comedians on BET, sensationalist news stories, Rev. Al or Jesse, and whatever other media you consume into thinking that Black folks think and talk about White people all the time….we really don’t. In between gas prices, the economy, aging parents, corporate layoffs, health issues, raising kids, and life in general, talking about and mocking White folks is way down on the list of priorities for most Black folks. However, the chosen few who love to run their mouth always seem to be the media darlings though…
I also think this particular reporter is highly skilled in that he is able to change dialects very quickly. If he wanted to use his street vernacular while hanging out with some other dudes at the local bar, I have no problem with that. He reminds me of Ali’s old trainer Bundini Brown, so I bet he’d be fun to have a few beers with. Given that, he sounds like a reporter is supposed to sound on the air (neutral voice-you tell the story, you’re not the story), and I wouldn’t expect him to use his “street” dialect or such language in his professional capacity (I doubt he would be working if he did). One of my managers at work can revert to her Boston “Southie” accent in a nanosecond and also cuss like a sailor when she gets upset (especially when she’s on the phone with her relatives!), but I never have heard her use her “Southie” voice or use vulgar language during a business presentation and I doubt she used that dialect in her initial job interviews. People do what they have to do and speak how they have to speak to have a roof over their heads and food on the table, plain and simple.
That clip is hilarious though….!!!

We need more bugs that to let out the garbage thats inside similar reporters and “eloquent” politicians.
Hah, I forgot the garbage has already been out several times, and these phonies are still standing [at the pulpit, for president, at news ‘reporting’], never mind the extra bugs…

“With people like him in the cities, it makes me glad I live in the country.”
Hmmmm….I don’t know about that one. From his dialect, he sounds “country” as hell. There’s nothing urban or “ghetto” about the dialect he used in his little tirade there (which is freakin’ hilarious…I’m playing it again and again…his vocal transition is masterful!). I’m willing to bet either he or his parents are from the rural south.

Flies are attracted to crap, perhaps that fly knew where to find a big pile of crap inside that reporter’s mouth.
oh yeah & Wahoo You Are lame. It’s typical if you can’t or are unable to criticize a person’s views then go for the physical. I watched the video & the radio guy’s ad lib wasn’t really all that funny or good. Perhaps they why they are nobodies & have never been heard of before. The video was just funny, no need for you to get nasty about stuff.

“”What’s really hilarious is when he goes from talking the King’s english to Eubonics in 1 nanosecond!!!!””
Another fine example of how marketing and faux TV works to make people believe anything. A false sense of “reality”. We are marketed to constantly through TV, print media, Hollywood and even the internet and unfortunately many people don’t know the difference.

“BTW, ghetto is a Jewish word.”
Wrong!!!
It’s Italian – it means ‘foundry’.

parasan, man, you are a bore.

John Harper on June 14, 2008 at 7:38 pm

Altura, “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?” was the original media snow job. Pure fiction, based on all my personal experiences.

John Harper on June 14, 2008 at 7:39 pm

“..parasan, man, you are a bore.”
Yes it is tedious when someone takes the time to counter your lies and disinformation isn’t it?
Still, I’m sure you will get used to it given time.
And I’ve got all the time in the world.

[C: HE ATTACKS SMALL TOWN AMERICA AND BLAMES IT AND “COUNTRY” FOR BUGS FLYING IN HIS MOUTH. MARK MY WORD–THIS GUY’S VOTIN’ FOR OBAMA. DS]

Here is the source of “ghetto” from Websters dictionary:
“Etymology: Italian, from Venetian dialect ghËto island where Jews were forced to live, literally, foundry (located on the island), from ghet‡r to cast, from Latin jactare to throw ó more at jet
Date: 1611 ”
I think both of you are right. Italian originally and refers to the Jews.

gr8muscles on June 16, 2008 at 10:17 am

“I think both of you are right. Italian originally and refers to the Jews.”
I’m sorry gr8muscles, but what part of “Etymology: Italian” didn’t you get?

So Debby, you are seriously saying because he blames the countryside for a bug flying in his mouth, that that makes him a Liberal?
Are you saying that Liberals don’t like the countryside, or that they don’t like the taste of bugs? And does that infer that conservatives all DO like the countryside and the taste of bugs?
