Idiotette Michigan MySpace Teen Married Palestinian Muslim, He Says

By Debbie Schlussel
Remember Katherine Lester, the teen from hicktown Michigan, who met a Palestinian Muslim on MySpace right under her parents’ nose, then fled to the Mid-East to meet and marry him?
As you’ll recall, I followed this story (including here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here) from the time Lester first ran away, to when, as an 18-year-old she legally moved to Jericho, Israel to live with Abdullah Psycho a/k/a Abdullah Jimzawi a/k/a Abdullah Jinzawi, to when Lester broke up with Abdullah Psycho on a dumb set of three episodes on “Dr. Phil,” during which she said the Palestinian Muslim beat, hit, and bit her. (I also noted how Lester’s father and stepmom whored her out for media glory and allowed her to continue the relationship, and how Seventeen Magazine glamorized this experience: “Online Love: Make It Work.”)

Katherine Lester:

From Dumb Small-Town Teen Girl to Islamic Palestinian Bride

Well, now, Abdullah Psycho claims that this idiotette, Katherine Lester, actually married him while she was visiting him in “Palestine.”

Last Sunday, Abdullah had the opportunity to give his side of the story on the MBC1 chat show Kalam Nawaem, a sort of Arabic version of The View.
The female hosts rounded on him for not properly defending himself or his culture on Dr Phil, and then he dropped the bombshell. According to him, the pair had married but Katherine hadn’t wanted to admit this on TV.

You know what that means. Under Islamic law, they’re still married, and he basically owns her. And she can be subject to honor killings, beatings, etc.
Well, it’s a good thing for her and us that he didn’t get that green card he wanted. Sad for us that she didn’t stay there with him. Would have been far better for her to serve as his dumb American baby making machine–to further dumb down the Muslim Palestinian population.
Her Paris Hilton level of brainpower and gene pool isn’t needed here.

If she did really marry him she really should go and live with him. It wont look good for Abdullah Psycho if his bride runs home to live with her parents. She should be at home cooking his dinners and taking care of him.

OK, sure, if she were to move back to “Palestine” it would raise the IQ level in both countries, but I can’t come down too hard on the kid personally. I did plenty of things as a teen that I wouldn’t want broadcast on Dr. Phil or anywhere else. Fortunately *I* had responsible parents

Frankly… I think Abdullah is full of crap! It is highly unlikely that Katherine and Abdullah got married. Both by Islamic law AND American law.

First, Katherine did not register her marriage in the United States, so… Its neither valid nor legal in this country.

Second, Abdullah is a Muslim, living in a Muslim country. Muslims need an Imam to get married RELIGIOUSLY. According to Islam, a marriage is not religiously valid unless EVERYONE who knows the bride and groom also know about the marriage (ahem… Parents? The entire planet following the story?). So if she kept it a secret, it is NOT religiously valid. Also, Katherine did not have a “Walli”, which is a MUSLIM MALE guardian of an unmarried girl (usually her father, but it can be a brother or another male relative, even an Imam, if she is a convert with no Muslim relatives), who was present, or clearly agreeing to the marriage. In Islam, your Walli MUST give permission for you to marry a man, or the marriage is not religiously valid.

So…. Clearly there is NO way they could possibly get religiously married.

That means if they did get married, it was a court house type thing, which many Muslim countries do now, for marriages that consist of a Muslim man marrying a non-Muslim woman who has no Walli, and therefore is not going by Muslim rules…

Which means their marriage is only valid ON PAPER. And only in HIS country. She is not religiously bound to him, according to Islam, the marriage does not exist. Which means she IS NOT subject to the religious punishments of Islam. And the marriage is not even legally recognized in America. So…. Frankly, Katherine can do whatever the hell she wants.
