I’m sure this is what Obama is planning; given his deceptive wordsmithing he probably won’t call it ‘reparations’. But I don’t think this is so different from what is already going on. Taxpayers are already taking a hit to make college ‘affordable’, especially for people who may not even belong in college, speak English very well, if at all, or do simple arithmetic. We taxpayers are also donating billions of dollars to help keep housing affordable, especially for those greedy people who got houses beyond their means. Obama is likely to accelerate this trend, but I think he is just building on what others are already doing or advocating.

Reparations were paid in dead soldiers from the civil war on. Welfare money, college scholarships, affirmative action, and the black on white crimes that are disproportionately being committed against whites. How about reparations to my family who lost money do to property damage during the riots of 1968. None of my family ever owned any slaves in the time period mentioned. How about collecting the money unnecessarily spent on educating the thugs that are out there today? Can we request a refund? The country bent over backwards to accommodate former slaves it’s time to bury the past. None of the thugs out there today have right to complain in regard to slavery. Life is what you put into it. Nothing begets nothing!
I would recommend that those that use the color of their skin as a crutch to just lay it down and walk without it as the crutch just slows you down and forces you to wait for society to pick you up the steps of ascension

Two years ago, Hatem El-Hady was the chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen. Today, El-Hady has redirected his fundraising efforts for his newest cause — Barack Obama for President.
El-Hady has his own dedicated page on Barack Obama’s official website, chronicling his fundraising on behalf of the Democratic Party presidential candidate. Not only that, but he has none other than Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, listed as one of his friends and one of her 224 listed friends.
But his leadership of Kindhearts is not the only thing that has brought him scrutiny by federal law enforcement officials. Last summer, El-Hady was questioned by the FBI concerning his knowledge of possible conspirators in a UK-based terror plot.
The Department of Justice had a very different version of events. According to the DOJ, Kindhearts assumed the role of lead terrorist fundraising in the US after the government had closed other such Islamic “charities.”
“KindHearts is the progeny of Holy Land Foundation and Global Relief Foundation, which attempted to mask their support for terrorism behind the faÁade of charitable giving,” said Stuart Levey, Treasury Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
Not only was Kindhearts engaged in providing funds for HAMAS in Lebanon and the West Bank, it had hired as a fundraising specialist the man identified as the designated HAMAS bag man in the US, Mohammed El-Mezain.
And as investigative reporter Joe Kaufman revealed in “The Black Hearts of Kindhearts,” a number of other Kindhearts officials were tied to terrorist fundraising and support, as well.

If one looks cool-headedly at the facts, one would clearly see that the primary beneficiaries of this war are the Shi’ite Iraqis, firstly, and the Kurds of Iraq, secondarily. These two groups have benefited directly because their persecutor, Saddam Hussein, his two sons (at least one of whom would have succeeded him), and the Ba’ath Party, enemy of Kurds and Shia alike, were all deposed. Beyond this, Kurds and Shi’ites lay claim to virtually all of Iraq’s oil fields. There are no known oil reserves in Sunni-held areas, which is why the Sunni, who comprise somewhere between 20-25 percent of the population, are the relative losers in this situation. Another party which has benefited enormously from the war is Iran, which, with support from the Iraqi Shi’ite majority, may well establish hegemony over most, if not all, of Iraq. Collectively, Iraqi Muslims of all stripes have also benefited from our war effort since we, in our ignorance, have had a hand in writing the new Iraqi constitution, permitting it to be based, at least in part, on Shari’a, inevitably endangering Iraq’s remaining, and rapidly shrinking, Christian minority – the Jews there would have been similarly menaced were it not for the fact that many were murdered and the rest expelled years ago. Israel has not benefited one whit from any of these developments, whereas the Muslims in Iraq are seeing infidel money and lives expended defending Shi’ites and Kurds, and even Sunni who cooperate; infidel funds being squandered on the building of new mosques and religious schools (where the tenets of Islam, incorporating hatred of Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, et al., and the obligation to wage war against all infidels, will continue to be taught and instilled in all Iraqi Muslim children), on hospitals, on endless repairs to the infrastructure allowing electricity, water, fuel, and crude oil (because Muslims keep sabotaging the power stations, the water and fuel lines, etc.) And, in payment for all of these benefits, the Iraqis have had to give us nothing..not one drop of their oil has been requested, or offered, as a quid pro quo for all that the Americans (and other infidels) have sacrificed, and continue to sacrifice. Israel? What does Israel have to do with al-Sadr’s jihad against the Sunni? And what does Israel have to do with the mass killings of Shi’ites by Sunnis, who have even blown up Shi’ite mosques filled with worshippers, resulting in mass murder?
Jew-hatred, of course, needs no rationalization, no careful thought. It is a mental illness.

I’ve noticed that the most vile, most anti-Jewish remarks tend to come from ‘rats, and Obama supporters especially. Amazing how they so easily fling charges of “racism” and “sexism” at those on the right, while at the same time spewing comments that would not be out of place in “Der Stuermer” or “Der Angriff”, or the other organs of Hitler, Himmler and Goebbels.
There is ONE, and only ONE country in that whole demented region of the Middle East that the United States shares any legitimate interests with, and that is Israel. They’re the only country there to have the requirements to be called a free state: A free press, open elections, and freedom of religion. Iraq only has had free elections, but non-Mohammedans there are persecuted unmercifully (right under the watchful eyes of our own armed forces…thanks, George…you could have issued an order to allow US troops to intervene and protect Christians and Jews there, but I guess you’d prefer dhimmitization), and the rest of the countries over there don’t have anything remotely approaching any of those three basic liberties. Well, since Israel allows freedom of religion, of COURSE the left would hate them…and since Israel hasn’t caved completely in (yet, again, thanks George for your stupid “roadmap”) to the Palestinians (actually just Bedouin who happened to be in the region of “Palestine” at the time of partition), the left screams their hatred.
I’m Catholic, and I say God bless Israel and God bless the Jewish people! Their faith and spirit over 2000 years of persecution is an example of strength we should all admire! The God of Israel is the God of Christianity, and my Savior was a Jew…so, bluntly, if I hated Jews, I’d be hating Jesus, and that I will NOT do! Let the left reject Israel and hate Jews…let them side with the enemy of liberty and conscience, the mohammedans, and I hope they get precisely what they deserve: Slavery, jizya and worse.

LBJ’s Great Society has destroyed the black family and made black women dependent on the Federal Government for handouts.
