UK Courts Lean Toward Releasing Palestinian El Al Bomber

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember the Palestinian “Jordanian” terrorist who put his pregnant fiancee on an El-Al flight with a bomb?  Well, if you liked the Scottish release  of Libyan Lockerbie bombing terrorist Abdel Basset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi, you’ll love what’s going on with Nezar Nawwaf al-Mansur al-Hindawi .

Islamic Terrorist Nezar Hindawi & Fiancee Anne-Marie Murphy

There’s never been a successful terrorist attack against an El-Al flight, and the Israelis found the bomb before the flight took off from Heathrow Airport. Hindawi was arrested, tried, and convicted, sentenced to 45 years in prison. However, although he’s been in a British prison since 1986, he may soon get out, despite the fact that his bomb would have killed the nearly 400 passengers aboard. Reportedly, Hindawi’s stupid White girl fiancee, Anne-Marie Murphy, didn’t know about the bomb, and per usual, Hindawi was willing to murder his own baby to murder Jews and Israelis.

A man jailed for 45 years for plotting to blow up an Israeli airliner has won a legal challenge against UK government refusals to allow his early release.

Jordanian Nezar Hindawi was jailed in 1986 after planting a bomb in his fiancee’s hand luggage for a flight from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv.

The Parole Board has recommended release but successive governments have rejected its advice.

The High Court ruling does not mean Hindawi will be freed immediately.

A further hearing will be held to decide whether the Supreme Court should now make a final ruling, or whether the justice secretary should be ordered to reconsider his decision.

Hindawi’s 45-year sentence is believed to be the longest specific jail term imposed by an English court.

In Friday’s hearing, two senior judges quashed decisions by Justice Secretary Ken Clarke and his predecessor, Jack Straw, who refused to accept the Parole Board advice.

The judges ruled that Hindawi, 56, was subjected to a “flawed and unfair” decision-making process.

HUH???? The man tried to blow up a plane full of people and would have succeeded but for excellent El-Al security people trained to find bombs like his.

The BBC’s Danny Shaw says it seems this ruling will pave the way for Hindawi’s release and eventual deportation back to Jordan, and there will be further legal submissions on the case next week.

He said the Parole Board had found that Hindawi had shown insight into his offending behaviour and remorse for all his intended victims, in particular his fiancee and her daughter.

WHAT? His only “remorse” is for getting caught and the bomb plot not having succeeded. Are these Brits that clueless? Apparently, yes.

He added that the plot had caused a diplomatic row when it emerged that Hindawi had been trained by Syrian intelligence, who had also provided the bomb.

Oh, yes, wouldn’t wanna upset those peaceful Syrians. So, they trained a Palestinian Islamic terrorist to bomb an El-Al flight? But anyway . . . .

This is why the West is losing and will continue to lose against the Islamic threat. We’re not even battling it. We’re giving in to it willingly, without barely a salvo from the other side. We stand by as moronic judges and politicians open our borders wide open for these people, bend over backward–and forward–for them and their intolerance, and then try their darnedest to appease terrorists who are nothing more than cold-blooded, Islam-motivated mass murderers.

As I always say, America (and the rest of the West) . . . Desperate But Not Serious.

25 years out of 45 is only (roughly) 56%… What’s the UK standard deduction for “good behavior”?!… Half?!…

He didn’t suffer… if it had been up to me he would have received 401 life sentences, one for each of the lives he tried to snuff out.

45 years was a joke and now he’s apparently being set free. Psychopaths like him don’t change their ways. He’ll blow himself up with some innocents or he’ll be stopped.

That’s the only way it’ll truly be over, no thanks to British “justice.”

NormanF on April 4, 2011 at 3:03 pm

‘British justice’ – one of the greatest oxymorons of all time.

Nir Leiu on April 5, 2011 at 6:03 am

At least he’ll get deported back to Jordan… if he tried something stupid there, he’d be swinging at the end of a rope. We’re far too kind to animals like al-Hindawi.

They know better over there, much better than even Israel’s Stupid Jews who refuse to execute their terrorists and give them Club Med conditions in their prisons.

That’s why the West – Israel included – isn’t take mass murder by terrorists who act in the name of Islam seriously.

Expect more such incidents to happen in the future.

NormanF on April 4, 2011 at 2:51 pm

Actually Norman, the Jordanians are planning to free a Jordanian border guard who killed eight Jews (this was following the peace agreement between Israel and Jordan).

Don’t count on justice from the Jordanians. They are Arabs, first and foremost

Jonathan E. Grant on April 4, 2011 at 3:06 pm

Jon, I haven’t implied they administer desert justice cuz they love the Jews and Israel – that would be far from the truth and we both know it and you’re right about that.

What I did say is that if he does anything to endanger the regime there, he would be executed.

As for the Jews, we know Arabs are happy when Jews are murdered, not that’s not exactly news.

If only Israel took care of Arab terrorists the way the Arabs dispose of subversives who threaten them, Jewish life wouldn’t be so cheap in the Jewish State.

Which brings me to another point Debbie would also agree with: Jews can be too darned compassionate for their own good. Showing kindness to Arabs who try to murder Jews is showing the mercy of fools.

NormanF on April 4, 2011 at 5:12 pm

In the eyes of the British, a Jewish life is not worth much, so why not free the terrorist bastard? Next time he may get lucky and actually kill some Jews.

Jonathan E. Grant on April 4, 2011 at 3:03 pm

The people who run Britain don’t care too much for British lives either, especially if their friends can benefit from oil contracts.

Nir Leiu on April 5, 2011 at 6:02 am

That is insane. He showed no compassion to his potential victims right up until his fiance went to the airport. He should be shown no mercy and finish out his sentence.

This is a problem with all courts. Too much compassion is shown towards criminals and not enough towards the victims. Raise my taxes, I don’t care, just keep them in jail if that was their sentence.

“Are these Brits that clueless? Apparently, yes.”

Canadian blogger Kathy Shaidle has an interesting piece in Pajamas Media today about Islamists milking the West’s welfare systems, happily grabbing all they can from those clueless infidels because “It all belongs to Allah”. We’re talking jihadi preachers and their families, polygamists, Muslims not even living on Western soil. The Brits are among the most clueless in failing to deal with the issue. Read it and weep.

Yes, for most Jewish life is cheap. There’s currently a dispute between Argentina and Israel where the former reportedly has elected to “forget” or put on the back burner the still unresolved bombings of the Israeli embassy and Jewish Center from the early 1990s (blamed on Iran and Hezbullah) in order to promote closer economic ties with Iran.

If al-Hindawi is deported to Jordan, he’ll be welcomed as a hero – not with as much enthusiasm as Sami Kuntar received in Lebanon because, well, al-Hindawi failed to kill those Jews. Of course, had he tried such a bombing of a Jordanian airliner, he would have been executed long ago.

“Are these Brits that clueless?” You say clueless. I say willing accomplices.

Hopefully, the clown will be flying back on British Airways to Jordan with all Labourites and no Jews aboard.

Occam's Tool on April 4, 2011 at 3:52 pm

DS, your last paragragh says it all.

It’s very disconcerting and demoralizing how we are just giving it all away.

Even most so-called reputable conservative talk-show hosts equivocate on the matter. (Just last week the fill-in for Mark Levine and just yesterday on Satellite’s “Bauer & Rose”).

Skunky on April 4, 2011 at 5:57 pm

We know that evil exists in the world; always has, always will. That doesn’t baffle me as much as the stupidity of the masses. It’s the stupidity I cannot understand. Or maybe it’s cowardice masquerading as stupidity. Whichever it is, it is mind boggling.

batyah on April 4, 2011 at 7:13 pm

This is why you kill these guys before judges let them go.

sg on April 4, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Let him out of prison………and then Mossad should eliminate him.
Kind of like the Mossad response to Black September.

Stephen on April 4, 2011 at 9:30 pm

You know Debbie, Israel should have a special force whose function is to kidnap these people and put them back in Jail to the end of their term or to just eliminate them from the face of earth. This is the only way to deal with these criminal cults.

I can guarantee that this man will not be deported because of his human rights under EU Laws which are constantly twisted by the UK judges keep terrorist loose on our streets.
