It turns out that not only the U.S. government is living in la-la land but have you seen the voters? On both sides of the aisle and the “Independents?”
Do you see what’s going on with this Hussein and how he’s exploiting the naivety and idiocy of the voters – his cheerleaders?
You would think it should be more important to scrutinize the candidate for the presidency, to examine his record and evaluate his worthiness to hold that very important office, but no, as you can see, what’s more important for these morons voters is the look, the appearance and the embellished empty suit.
This is America of the 21st century.
As I said previously, only the American people will destroy America. The American voters are so stupid. By not learning from the mistakes of Europe, they are the ones who will shoot themselves in the foot and ruin this country.
Don’t look far away, the enemy of America is the stupid American voter.

Maybe the longer one is a Senator the bigger a staff one has that can take care of things for the Senator in his name. I must speak up for my Senator because he (or his staff) was very helpful taking care of a problem I was having, without going into much detail, with a government agency. And I don’t have two nickels to rub together, so it wasn’t as if I am a financial supporter, just a voter.

Good point, one I’ve made to many of my clueless coworkers MANY times. Fantasy football and Warcraft are the priorities of todays adult American. When I see Henry Waxman grilling ball players, and Jessica Simpson or Brittany getting an hour of coverage some place a shiver almost goes up my spine. When I pass an arabic restaurant full of cars I almost get a shiver as well by the way. Thanks for those funds to Africa Mr. Bush we could’ve had a state of the art WALL built by now and an immigration system that works. Good to see your making so many FRIENDS as your black approval rating in this country stays at about 5% in any case!

Dear warpmine,
It’s not about liberalization, it’s more serious story.
In USA’s public schools – and, possibly, many private as well, but here I cannot tell anything because I am not much familiar with the later ones – the main goal is:
To polverize individual into dust.
They put children always in the teams/groups with their endless group/team projects, researches, games, trips, etc., etc., etc.
This idiotic structure triggers unceasing jokes in our family, and my kids satirize the situation and perform “in roles” very vividly remembering about their school experience.
But we also understand, that this tendency has not fell from the sky just by chance – it is a clear malicious intent. Of course, children of the upper classes have very different intellectual nourishment – because they are prepared to rule. The plight of the others is – to submit, and their major part of their life – and in school and after school programs children of the low social-economic classes spend most and the most productive part of the day – is to float, or rather sink, in this dirty swamp of group, team, collective, pseudo socizlized life.
As the result the vast majority of kids want just to be like everybody else around them. Each and everyone has dozen of volatile “friends” (the first question of new adult acquaintance, doctor, social functionary is – do your children have friends? Or: how many friends have your children? Do they enjoy their school?)
That’s why American media push in our brain until we vomit their Oprah, who is thicking or thinning, or their Brittney Spears, with her endless drinking and court stories, and withdraw any serious stuff to make our heads wonderfully light and empty.
Empty the heads of your subjects and fill their stomacks. Taking apart the nauseating garbage we are eating here, it’s really correct to say, that there is no necessity to rinse the brains of the majority of American subjects – they are already vacuum-sucked out.
The desperate parents – those, who still have a job – are working 10, 11, 12 and more hours per day, Saturdays, Sundays, not counting a time for a trip to job – not only to earn money (in many places now people earn nothing for overtime) but, primarily, to keep their job. They come home only to eat a supper – or late dinner, – watch in complete exhaustion some TV, does not matter what – and crush into bed. They don’t have neither stamina nor thoughts to ask their kids what they are really doing at school – good enough, if such parents are asking about their kids’ homework and merits.
In the process of preparation of the new generation of slaves in mass scale such situation on the job market, forcing the majority of Americans increasingly not only to agree to work more and more for less and less, but also – to abandone their future to gov.-t education system, American governmental structures shall be fully satisfied.
Take, as an example, NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND.
In practice this principal means – NO CHILD LEFT AHEAD – as jokes my son. And, in fact – it is, precisely, a goal of this philosophy – to deny kid a surge to fast progress.
The whole direction toward growing individual in America is – socialization under gun. Socialization not by choice, as a privilege or inclination of a soul, but a forced socialization of inmates who have no choice than to accept and submit.
Note: Despite anything what you might see on American TV or read in American books, this was NEVER A CASE in USSR. On a contrary – there the whole goal of the school system there was – to prepare a competitive individual. No group projects, no team work, no collective trips – everybody just by himself, struggling to be the first (who can, of course; there are always plenty of kids that do not want to study under any punishments). The winner for every project was always the one, and only he/she was remunerated; the others sat in liquid bullshit. Everybody knew, who is who. The system of “heroes” was everywhere.
How can we, living here, beat the government? – But we have an option – at least some of us, who have a helping hand at home, or somewhat more time. This option is – to pull your kids out of the school system. If at least some of you will attempt this experiment just for half of the year (by doing this you are not risking much) – you will see a DIFFERENCE.

Our country is headed for even bigger troubles. Both the President and Congress have horrible approval ratings. Unfortunately many people are buying into the snake oil that Barack Obama is peddling to remedy the problems. Obama’s solutions are far worse than the original problems that need to be solved. The people want change but they are misguided by the liberal media and their own ignorance. Most people can identify Britney Spears and Paris Hilton but not their United States Senators and Representatives in Congress. It appears the USA will have to hit rock bottom before we come to our senses.
