Your Day in “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness,” “Tolerance” & “Racial Harmony”

By Debbie Schlussel

You can bet that no one, including Peter King, at Peter King’s Congressional hearings today on Muslims, will be talking about this kind of stuff, a function of Islam in America versus Americans. King is focusing on a fictional concept called “radical Islam.”  I focus on a real thing that is inherently radical, just plain Islam.  Oh, and by the way, don’t do anything when Muslims won’t move and you need to be somewhere. They own the road. allah said so, especially if you’re not White . . . .

King County prosecutors have filed hate crime charges against an Everett man accused in a racially motivated attack on a Seattle cab driver.

Prosecutors contend Hassan Nori Al-Maamar, 28, attacked the driver on Nov. 28 in Seattle after yelling anti-black slurs.

According to charging documents, the cab driver pulled up behind Al-Maamar’s stopped car. When Al-Maamar failed to move for several minutes, the cab driver honked his horn and a violent altercation ensued.

Al-Maamar stepped from his car, began yelling racial slurs and punched the driver in the head, a Seattle detective told the court.

“(Al-Maamar) tried to pull him out of his cab and even grabbed his shoe and threw it in the street,” the detective told the court.

The driver lost consciousness for several seconds. When he came to, Al-Maamar allegedly threatened that he knew the driver’s cab number and would kill him; the driver stayed away from work for several weeks out of fear.

But, hey, we–not the Muslims–are the bigots, right?

Hmmm . . . I wonder what Al-Maamar’s immigration status is. Attention: ICE . . . .

Amazing that so many blacks become Muslims considering what the Koran and many of that religion’s other writings say about black people …

Gerald on March 10, 2011 at 2:55 pm

I wish at these hearing today on “radical islam”, that Peter King and a few others bring up this incident that happend in Washington state this past fall, when a muslim man got out of his vehicle and assaulted a black cab driver and threatened the poor guy. If I was that cab driver, I would file a lawsuit against Al-Maamar for doing that crap. And I can guarantee you that the local media in Seattle, WA bought up the story and didn’t mention that the culprit was a “muslim” or “islamist”?

“A nation is defiend by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on March 10, 2011 at 2:59 pm

I think that Peter King should ask Shiekh Palazzi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Hadi_Palazzi and http://www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com/sheikhpalazzi.html ) what he thinks the proper course Islam should take.

Doc Holiday on March 10, 2011 at 3:38 pm

Sheikh Palazzi is the exception, not the rule. The world would be a better place if all Muslims were like him but they aren’t.

And the truth is the lot of them are bigots. Not just against Jews as Debbie writes here and people don’t want to face up to it.

That is the real Islam.

NormanF on March 10, 2011 at 4:09 pm

I was in a local cafe today where they have CNN on the telly and there was a headline screaming “Rise in Islamophobia”.

What a joke! They wish. They should have devoted the time to all the Judaiaphobia out there. I was listening to Rush and he decried the ridiculous headline as well.

I wonder how the muslim cabbie treated his black customers.

Debbie,
I’m interested in knowing your opinion of Steven Emerson & Zuhdi Jasser. I am asking because your opinions on this issue have opened my eyes in such a way that has fundamentally changed my entire world view. DS said: King is focusing on a fictional concept called “radical Islam.” I focus on a real thing that is inherently radical, just plain Islam. And thanks so much for all the important information that you provide on this blog. You are in a class all by yourself.

NancyB on March 10, 2011 at 5:12 pm

    NancyB:

I cannot presume to speak for Debbie, but I will take the liberty of commenting on Zuhdi Jasser. A couple of weeks ago, Jasser was a guest, briefly, on the Glenn Beck TV show. Beck asked Jasser about a well-known hadith (in the collection of
Sahih Muslim, Book 41, No. 6985)attesting that Judgment Day will not come until Muslims attack and kill the Jews, who hide behind rocks and trees. This hadith is incorporated into the Hamas charter, and underscores Hamas’s (and Islam’s) genocidal intentions where Jews are concerned. Jasser responded by retorting that this foundational, doctrinally important hadith is “garbage” without elaborating further. While it is possible that Jasser himself personally finds this hadith (and its variants, found elsewhere in Muslim and in the equally authoritative hadith compilations of al-Bukhari) repugnant, hence his comment, to designate it as “garbage” is entirely misleading, as this comment leads others unfamiliar with Islam, and hadiths, to conclude that no genuine Muslim takes it seriously and it has no legitimacy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Jasser’s whitewash, in my opinion, shows him to be deceitful and dishonest, and he is not to be trusted. I, for one, have written him off as just another typical Muslim liar who misrepresents, conceals, and equivocates about the inherent evil, intolerance, and bloodthirstiness of Islam. Jasser’s motive for lying may be personal embarassment about these aspects of his faith, but his refusal to be forthright about all of this is what all of these Muslim spokesmen have in common (except for those like Anjem Choudry, whose honesty is refreshing insofar as he is unwilling to dissemble, and shows us the true, ugly face of Islam so that all may better understand what we are dealing with – but, maddeningly, he is ridiculed by the disbelieving talk show hosts, who consider him “radical,” when in fact he is actually mainstream and orthodox).
Do not trust any Muslim who promulgates the notion that Islam is essentially benign, peaceful, or pluralistic. And, just as importantly, do not trust any Muslim such as Jasser who tries to minimize or de-legitimize Islam’s inherently evil nature, even if they acknowledge, as Jasser does, that certain aspects of Islam are troubling, and have a menacing message for unbelievers.

commonsense on March 10, 2011 at 6:16 pm

Debbie would be in complete agreement with you and I would add that Anjem Choudary IS the mainstream representative of Islam. I respect him precisely because he is honest and doesn’t dissemble like most of them do, about how Muslims think and what their plans are. The fact he is dismissed as an extremist is unfair and obscures the truth about Islam. He just says what the vast majority of them believe in but won’t say openly.

As for the reasons Islam got to be the way it is, sometime around the 9th Century, the Koran was closed to any form of questioning or less than literal interpretation and since that time the most extreme, fanatical and literal views have dominated Islamic thinking. It has never undergone a Reformation or been exposed to non-Islamic points of view. In fact, the famous Arab historian Ibn Khaldun, in his Muquddamah rejects the need to learn from non-Islamic cultures or to take the past into account, even as an ethical lesson. Islam has remained stagnant ever since and what the Islamists promise is a return to the very kind of obscurantism that has doomed Muslim societies. They show no vigor, no creativity and no growth. And they hate us not only as infidels but also for the fact we have achieved things that remains only a distant dream for them in their own societies.

The philo-Semitism of Sheikh Palazzi’s school is unfortunately a minority viewpoint in Muslim societies. We must not lose sight of what Islam is today and do all we can to encourage gradual change within it. Needless to say, that probably won’t happen in our lifetime.

Dunno whether it’s new or not, but I just love the way you don’t capitalize allah. In fact, from now on, I’ll follow it.

“King is focusing on a fictional concept called Radical Islam.”

If I may make a slight grammatical correction, the words “fictional concept called” should be replaced by the words “redundant phrase that is”

Irving on March 10, 2011 at 5:40 pm

This stuff just goes on and on, and the left just continues to ignore it. I rather doubt that Al Sharpton will be on top of this one.

worry01 on March 10, 2011 at 6:09 pm

The deadliest Muslims are those who appear to be the most innocuous. Before terrorists commit atrocities, they do their very best to fit in, becoming model citizens that everyone admires.

Mohammed Atta and other 9/11 hijackers were law-abiding, outstanding citizens up to Sept. 11th when they changed in an instant revealing their true intentions that were so marvelously disguised.

Atta and Jarah were filmed in Afghanistan on Jan. 18th, 2000 while Clinton was President giving their last will and testament, for the well-planned 9/11 which was to come 20 months later.Jara was smiling ear-to-ear during his last will and testament as they were both about to get 72 hymen-regenerating virgins in heaven as THE ONLY GUARANTEED WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN FOR MUSLIMS IS TO KILL INFIDELS (Koran 9:111).

Actor James Wood (MIT graduate) mentioned to authorities a week before 9/11 suspicious behavior of a 9/11 dry run, but “authorities” just said, don’t worry, be happy.

/We can’t trust Muslims who act suspiciously. More importantly, we REALLY can’t trust Muslims who APPEAR to be model citizens.

Jew Lover on March 10, 2011 at 7:11 pm

Taqqiyah and lying come naturally to Muslims. You raise an excellent point: one can’t tell who is an extremist and who is a moderate Muslim. Unless you can see into their souls, the inescapable conclusion is we should not be admitting them to our shores. One would be Muslim terrorist is one Muslim terrorist too many. We are handcuffed by political correctness and don’t look past appearances to see them for who they really are. They do appear as model citizens but sooner than later, they give themselves away. If they didn’t, then all of the posts Debbie has written about them would be redundant. Muslim immigration will lead to no good for America and there will be another 9/11 in the future, maybe worse if we don’t wake the heck up.

NormanF on March 10, 2011 at 9:36 pm

Why is there nothing about passersby stepping in to help the cab driver?

Did I miss something?

What would happen to the person or persons who stepped in to assist the cab driver and help protect him from the assault that was visited upon him by this Muslim who was practicing the Religion of Peace, Love, Tolerance, Mercy, Compassion, and Understanding?

Would the Good Samaratin be assaulted also? Would the Good Samaratin be tracked down and murdered by the member of the Religion of Peace, Love, Mercy, Compassion, Tolerance, and Understanding, and possibly the member’s “friends” who practice the Religion of Peace, da, da, da, da, da?

Debbie, when we come upon such a phenomenon, can we just kick the crap out of the thug, coming to the assistance and defense of another, in order to protect our fellow US citizens from Islamic Jihadi nut cases, and also in order to protect ourselves from becoming victims of these intolerant thugs. If we are all peaceful with them we open ourselves to assault and injury or death. Otherwise we do nothing and allow our fellow human beings to fall victims to these haters, these violent, barbaric, hate filled, virulent, vindictive, selfish cretins who have no self control or self discipline, save to cause trouble, and wreak violence upon others.

William on March 11, 2011 at 4:36 am

My experience with Jasser is limited to observing the hearings yesterday. I did not get the impression he was putting a happy face on Islam so much as it seemed he held up a modernized post-fundamental version of Islam that simply attempts to leave the violent elements in the past. This is different than saying those elements don’t exist. I have no idea whether that strategy will work but it seems a plausible direction to my western sensibilities and I certainly hope it gains traction over time.

Brooks Imperial on March 11, 2011 at 7:38 am

This site is the best place for current news and information on Islam. We all owe Debbie for her brave stance on the truth.

I would like to share a personal story that verifies Debbie’s comment “King is focusing on a fictional concept called “radical Islam.” I focus on a real thing that is inherently radical, just plain Islam.” She is SOOOO correct! This story comes from a city in Arkansas (pop. 80k or so)

Five years ago my youngest daughter was a sophomore in HS and was at a table during lunch break. There was a Muslim Student at her table who is the son of a prominent doctor who is a radiologist here in town.

The boy (apparently just talking to no one in particular) said, “I wish all the fu#$ing Jews were dead.”

My daughter said, “What did you say?”

The boy repeated it and also said, “I’m sorry, but if you are a Jew, I hate you too.”

I wonder where the young boy learned this horrible, hateful, murderous mindset?? In math class?? Naturally it was in this loving physicain’s Muslim home and in their little local “religion of peace” mosque.

Debbie, DO NOT STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!

King has done the same thing that many politicians in Europe do when the electins are approaching and that is to exploit the issue of multiculturalism in order to gain support among those voters who are in favor of more radical policies.

Heather on March 12, 2011 at 5:23 pm

Heather, re: your comment: “King has done the same thing that many politicians in Europe do when the electins are approaching and that is to exploit the issue of multiculturalism in order to gain support among those voters who are in favor of more radical policies.”

Heather on March 12, 2011 at 5:23 pm

Heather, just wanting to believe a stereotypical concept that many people mindlessly regurgitate does not make it so.

I’d like to give Peter King a chance before assuming that he is not really interesting in doing his job and looking into Islamic Radicalization in the USA. There is ample evidence that such radicalization HAS been taking place here, and IS taking place here in the USA, as well as Canada, and elsewhere.

So far the reaction by most of the old, Paleo-media/Mainstream Press, the leftists, the Racists – Klan with the Tan members like Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al, the Muslims and Muslim sympathizers who don’t know what they are talking about, who have their head in the sand and are willfully ignorant and in deep fear of Muslims, have betrayed their ignorance, hostility, racism, and maliciousness by attacking Peter King, the hearings, the US and her citizens, and anyone and everyone who is alerted to the pathetic, malevolent Religion of Peace, Love, Tolerance, Understanding, Mercy, Compassion, and other nonsense.

Islam is a strong influence for violence, abuse, oppression, misogyny, deception, sadism, and more. When they are called on their behavior they prove the point, time and time again, by, you guessed it, behaving violently, sadistically, and self righteously, slaughtering more people, and threatening to slaughter more people.

Since 1400 years ago Islam changed the face of Asia, Europe, Northern Africa, and elsewhere, not by cultural contributions so much, but by slaughtering millions of people, and coercion conversions.

Millions of Hindus, Jains, Zoroastrians, Taoists, Confucians, Jews, Buddhists, Christians, and Bahai’s were butchered by the Muslims blood and death cult hordes throughout Asian, North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Those who did not convert were introduced to the sword, or other forms of painful, helling deaths, oppression, etc.

If they did not convert but surrendered as Dihmmies, these submissives paid the Religious Tax, the Jizyah, and lived under the thumb, and at the whim, of Islam, and Muslims. They were not permitted to fix or rebuild Temples, Synagogues, Churches, etc. They were not permitted to build new places of worship. They were to allow a Muslim to stay in their home for at least three days. If they were seated when the Muslim came into the room, they were to rise from their sofa and allow the Muslim to sit in their place.

Dihmmies were to wear their hair a certain way, wear certain clothes, and undergo other restrictions and commands.

Now Islamic nations, like Saudi Arabia, don’t allow women to travel alone, won’t allow them to drive, and worse. Many women are deprived of education. Poor young girls are held down by adults as their genitals are mutilated, all while the poor girl screams in agony, and the adults mock her, claiming that it doesn’t hurt that much.

It doesn’t hurt that much? Give me that cutting tool, and I’ll show you how much it “doesn’t hurt!” And this kind of culture is loved by Obama, the Hollywood left, the media, and others.

Women who are raped are arrested for fornication, for engaging in sex outside of marriage. Unless four adult Muslim males come forward as witnesses to this offense of rape, then the woman is sentenced to such torment as being whipped from 70 to 300 lashes. Women do die from this flogging! Other women are buried into the ground up to their necks and stoned to death by a crowd of people. A guy in Iran did this to his wife, falsely claiming infidelty in order to get rid of her because he was cheating on her with another woman and needed to get her out of the way. Her own family betrayed her, as they helped get her sentenced and executed. In that case she was chainged to a wall and stoned to death.

That is how much they love and respect women!

In Iran, and elsewhere, if their “head scaves” or other head gear is not “proper,” they are beaten, arrested, incarcerated, harassed, or whatever. It is sick, yet women who live this way often deny that they are mistreated and tell the US that US citizens are misguided and mean and Islamophobic, and that Islam treats them better than any other culture or religion treats women of those other cultures or religions.

Right!

Like Christianity will have women buried up to their necks and stoned to death, or bound and beaten to death, for being raped. Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Ba’hais, and Buddhists will harass and beat women for not wearing the proper head covering. Right …

The reaction to the Peter King piloted hearings prior to the hearings showed people’s ignorance, bias, and denial. They cried about racism, whereas concern for Islam is not about race, but about a cult of blood and death, sadism and misogyny, violence, intolerance, and terrorism. They created out of whole cloth the lie that this was somehow about picking on people just because of their religion.

Heather, don’t those people know that we all learned a lot about Islam on 9/11/2011? We also learned about Islam in Spain, Britain, France, India, Israel, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Jordan, Palestianian areas, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Argentina, and on and on, as they engaged in bombings, attacks, dousing people in gasoline and setting them ablaze, preventing young school girls from being rescued from their burning school because the girls were not wearing the “proper religious head dress” according to so-called “religious police.”

Even the Jillans-Postens Danish magazine cartoons relealed the actual depth of intolerance and violent behavior of Muslims.

No. Those who make up all those lies against US citizens, and others, who are concerned about Islam as a violent political-theological-econimic-militant-violent movement are, perhaps, rather vile and malicious as well. The Spanish suffered through hundreds of deaths and more injuries, as their trains were bombed, and this AFTER they surrendered and pulled their troops out of the war zone. Some results that got them!

I saw something which resembled a bumper sticker which reads, “All I needed to know about Islam I learned on 9/11.”

How true!

After the 9/11 attacks I remember seeing scenes of many video footage of thousands of Muslims throughout the world out in the streets, shoulder to shoulder, celebrating the slaughter of those poor approximately 3,0000 human beings, men, women, children, and babies. That is just part of the depravity that those people have sunk to, and their celebration did show that this isn’t just a small handful of “radicals” who are engaged in this violent cult of Islam.

And everything since then, including the “protestations” put forth by so-called Muslims (Cair, Imans, Media, etc., go further to reinforce that education.

Hassan Al Maamar has now gotten in another fight and has a broken arm. He also had the same incident in 2008. He is only a green card holder so why doesnt ICE send him packing?
