Quote of the Day: “Don’t Ask Me. I Just Work for the Reich.”

By Debbie Schlussel
Well, actually it’s two quotes from the same guy, Spaniard Javier Clemente, new coach of the Iranian soccer team. He’s working for the new Nazis. But don’t ask him about the politics. He just works for them and doesn’t take a position. To paraphrase Jean Peaul Sartre, not taking a position is, indeed, taking a position.
Quote #1 from Clemente (from Tuesday’s edition of Spanish sports daily AS), when asked about Iran’s cornucopia of Islamist “politics” (atrocious human rights record, nukes in development, vowing to wipe Israel off the map, etc., etc. ad nauseam):

Russians, Chinese, communists, capitalists, blacks or whites are all the same to me. I’m a soccer coach and I don’t understand, nor want to understand, anything else. I’m going there to try to qualify Iran for the 2010 World Cup and I couldn’t give a hoot about anything else.

Iran’s New Soccer Coach Javier Clemente: What Me Worry?

So glad that multi-culti education is working.
Nazis, beheaders, torturers, Americans, freedom-lovers are all the same to me. I’m a soccer coach and I don’t understand, nor want to understand gas chambers, ovens, lampshades, anything else. I’m going there to try to qualify the Third Reich for the 1940 Olympics and I couldn’t give a hoot about anything else.
Quote #2 from Clemente:

Iran is just like Spain.

Well, Spain is about 5 decades from becoming Iran, but with the Muslim influx, it’s getting there.
Don’t blame me. I just work here.

What a moron Javier is.
Soccer is a civilized game played by barbarians. Rugby and football (our football) are brutal games played by the civilized. I am paraphrasing.
