Your Day in “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness”: Islamic Terrorist Came Thru Mexico, Targeted Jews

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s odd that we haven’t heard much about the case of Brahim Lajqi, which has been going on for a few years.  Maybe that’s because he fits none of the narratives that liberals, open borders advocates, and Muslim apologists want us to believe.  Lajqi, an Albanian Muslim who trained in Bosnian Islamic terrorist training camps came here illegally, arriving in the U.S. through the Mexican border.  He falsified immigration documents, and took steps to carry out terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. Oh, and then there’s that one other tiny detail:  he made threats against Jews, whom he specifically wanted to kill.  But, strangely, as reader Duane points out, he wasn’t charged with committing a hate crime.  Hey, anti-Semitism is still in fashion.  (Just ask Charlie Sheen and John Galliano.) And by the way, Lajqi was here since the mid-1980s. So much for the myth that American culture “moderates” Muslims. We know it does not. They just adopt it for their jihadist purposes.

Shukran [Thanks], America, For Letting Us In to Carry Out Our Jihad

A Silver Spring man convicted of falsifying immigration documents had threatened to blow up the White House, the U.S. Treasury building, a federal courthouse and a Metro stop, vowing to “slaughter the enemies of Islam,” federal prosecutors said Monday in court.

Brahim Lajqi, 51, was not charged with attempting to carry out any terrorist threats [DS: Why the heck not?!], but prosecutors outlined the allegations in an effort to persuade U.S. District Judge Roger W. Titus to impose a penalty harsher than the six months or less in prison recommended by sentencing guidelines.

Titus agreed and handed down a five-year sentence, saying it was necessary for the protection of the public.

“This is a defendant who articulated repeatedly a desire to engage in the most serious form of terrorism aimed at symbols most important to our country, including the White House and the U.S. Capitol,” Titus said during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt.

Lajqi, an ethnic Albanian who came to the United States through Mexico in the mid-1980s, is a self-described “extremist militant,” who said he was trained by Bosnian Muslim rebels, according to court papers. He was angry about American military involvement in Kosovo in the 1990s, and “blamed all Albanian deaths in Kosovo on the United States,” the court papers said. He also talked about targeting Jews, court papers say.

HUH?! Did we not send American bombs and American troops to help these Islamic ingrates against Christians in Kosovo? Yup, they never appreciate when we help them. Serves us right, helping these “peaceful” America-hating, Jew-hating cretins.

Lajqi had previously pleaded guilty to lying on immigration documents. . . .

According to court papers, Lajqi and a confidential informant rode around the Washington area to view potential targets. Lajqi said the White House was his “number one spot” but also talked about targeting a Metro train at rush hour, the papers say.

During another trip, the documents state, he suggested blowing up the Treasury building to “make them bankrupt and broke,” and noted that a dump truck would be a good place to hold explosives.

Lajqi told the informant that he knew of weapons suppliers in Montana and Canada and that one of his brothers had connections, authorities said.

The court papers say that Lajqi told the informant they “deserve a good bomb in Capitol Hill . . . and White House. Maybe Capitol Hill more because lots of Jews live there.” That conversation occurred during a trip they took to West Virginia, where Lajqi unsuccessfully tried to obtain a commercial driver’s license that he said could be used to move weapons.

Only five years for this guy??? He’ll be probably be out in just over three, when he should be in prison for life. I’ve seen drunk drivers–who weren’t targeting America–get far more time. This is absurd.

America . . . desperate but not serious about the Islamic threat.

This story illustrates something about the Muslim World.

They think differently from us and the things we want are not the things they are after.

It took centuries for the West to acquire democracy.

In places where its alien, where there is no tradition of free thought, tolerance, due process of law and property rights, democracy isn’t going to take root.

But dumbasses like Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, who shills for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, don’t want to understand that. And their whitewashing of fanatics is only going to get a
lot more Americans killed in the future.

To put it very simply, if they don’t like our democracy here, why should we expect them to adopt it over there? That’s a good question you won’t hear their apologists and defenders answer any time soon.

Scum like this are roaming freely in the U.S., undetected, and mostly with impunity. The DS Blog doesn’t mention who (what agency) finally caught him, but I can bet you it wasn’t the clowns at ICE, they’re still stumbling around trying to serve those I-9 audit notices on dangerous criminals, such as Chipotle Restaurant workers, or processing agri-workers en masse for a free trip back to their country of origin.

‘Desperate but not serious’. Exactly the situation.

5 years for terrorist activities?? Here in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Illinois you could get 14 years for running over a road construction worker.

Un-friggin-believable.

Feel free to use this regarding “hate crimes” Ms. Schlussel and friends.
Opening a Can of Whoop*ss Alert – Infidel Public Service Announcement

Is it a hate crime to hate the color brown (M&Ms)?
If yes, Van Halen are guilty of hate crimes.

Is it a hate crime to hate the vegetable broccoli?
If yes, George Bush was guilty of hate crimes.

Is it a hate crime to hate man’s best friend, the dog?
If yes, Mohammed was guilty of hate crimes.

Is it a hate crime if someone hates the acts of humiliation, degradation, “water sports = waterboarding” at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay Resorts?
If yes, ALL who hate/hated the acts at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay Resorts, etc. are guilty of hate crimes.

Is it a hate crime if someone hates the people who did the acts of humiliation, degradation, “water sports = waterboarding” etc.?
If yes, ALL who hate/hated the people who did the acts of humiliation, degradation, “water sports = waterboarding” etc. are guilty of hate crimes.

Is hating a belief system that allows/condones/requires the atrocities of rape, murder, beheading, amputation, crucifixion, torture etc. a hate crime?
If yes, ALL who hate Islam are guilty of hate crimes.

Why would hating a color, vegetable, or animal NOT be considered a hate crime?

Why would hating a belief system disguised as a religion that allows/condones/requires atrocities BE considered a hate crime?

Why would hating people who are allowed/required to rape us, kill us, enslave us, torture us, behead us, etc. BE considered a hate crime?

Why would Muslims NOT be guilty of hate crimes as they are allowed/required to do the above atrocities to us non-Muslims?

    You ask WHY?

Because the inmates are running the asylum!

Margie on March 2, 2011 at 1:00 pm

If he has been here illegally since the 80’s why isn’t he being sent to gitmo or just deported? Since he is here illegally, why is he even getting a trial? NOT a citizen, then you don’t qualify for citizen rights. I realize that’s a stupid question, especially in light of the recent killings of the couple on board their ship near Solmalia. What exactly happened to the Muslims who killed those people? Are they being brought here to stand trial? Are we going to feed and care for them for the next 20 years or are they just going to be given citizen status and released somewhere in Vermont, or Maine where the rest of the Somalians have been dumped?
This country is not serious about anything that pertains to our safety. We’re only concerned with the safety and comfort of Muslims and Islam.

wolf2012 on March 1, 2011 at 2:58 pm

It’s all just hot air. Lajqi was just exercising his freedom of speech (which he didn’t have legally since he’s not a US citizen but..). He was never gonna hurt anyone or drive a taxi into a crowd or shoot up a military base or randomly snipe people or rent truck full of explosives and blow up a skyscraper (like the US government did). It’s certainly not illegal or suspicious to want to blow up the president’s residence (it is totally wrong to demand to see the president’s birth certificate, though). In fact, we should be more open to letting folks like him in the USA, after they are here for a few years they’ll love everything about us (by “us” I mean “liberals”), and we’ll come to appreciate their culture, too.

Also, we need socialized medicine. Open borders and socialize medicine may seem mutually exclusive, but I assure you that not everyone in the world will flock to the USA once we have free health care. Most Canadians will stay in their country (unless they like warmer weather), and some Europeans will remain in their homelands, too.

“America . . . desperate but not serious about the Islamic threat.”

It’s hard to get America to take the threat seriously when they’re regularly bombarded with the message that the threat is NOT serious or that the threat comes not from Islam.

We had another such message only in recent days. One of my TV pleasures is the ABC series “Castle” – a variant on the “odd couple” or buddy theme, here pairing a smart/sassy (and good looking) police detective with a mystery writer. Though usually dealing with strange murder cases, in this intense two-parter, the threat was of a dirty bomb in NYC, with initial evidence pointing to Syrian Arab immigrants. But by the middle of the first part, there were already hints they were going to lead us to the *real* culprits. I was thinking to myself, “No, no! Don’t go there!” But they did.

[SPOILER ALERT] In last night’s conclusion we learn those behind the plot were … three US Special Forces guys (!) who deliberately frame the Arabs because we’re no longer taking the terror threat seriously. ABC delivered a two-fer – simultaneously whitewashing the real culprits (even getting help from a Syrian intelligence officer) while disparaging true heroes who put their lives on the line for this country. What the f***! And what a disgrace!

Note this episode aired only days after a Saudi student was arrested in the US on terror related charges.

Should African-Americans be guilty of hate crimes for hating the KKK?
Should Jews be guilty of hate crimes for hating the Nazis?
Should Infidels be guilty of hate crimes for hating Islam?
If we cannot hate evil, what can we hate?

Jew Lover on March 1, 2011 at 3:27 pm

Don’t worry, Jew Lover. Those of us who hate evil are blessed by God:

“The LORD loves those who hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Ps. 97:10.

Does anyone wish to know where all this is going?

Read: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-ap-il-gunowners-disclos,0,5686959.story

Fascism arises again…your money is becoming worthless…the Law no longer means anything…talks arise that the TSA wants to take DNA samples of Travelers…and the BIG NEWS – Charlie Sheen is on a rant and an Oscar winner says f**k.

G*d, I feel like I’m back in Grade School.

America went off the tracks when it sent its men out to fight and die to create Islamic Republics.

sg on March 1, 2011 at 7:33 pm

Debbie I think Charlie Sheen was Jew baiting but it wasn’t necessarily anti-Semitic. If his boss had kept his birth name (and used his Hebrew first name) it wouldn’t be anti-Semitic to have called him Chaim Levine. So in a way CS was calling him out as a fake as much as anything. Also I would like Natalie Portman to immediately announce all the show biz people she knows to be anti-Semitic and to allow me to knock her up next time.

Dumb question…

When did Mexicans learn to say “Khayabar ya Yahud”?

And out of curiosity, is it usually accompanied by “Allahu ackbar”?

The Reverend Jacques on March 1, 2011 at 11:02 pm

Debbie

One of your sponsoring ads has a petition calling on Jordan to take in all Palis. Why just Jordan, and why have these murderous thugs so close to Israel? The petition should be directed @ the Arab League, who should be asked to have all its members take certain #Palis – everybody from Morocco to Oman. As it is, there are Palis in each of these countries, but due to an Arab League dictat, none of them give citizenship to Palis, even if they may to other Muslims from other places. So that’s where such a petition ought to be directed.

Which D.C. Metro stop/train was being targeted?
Bethesda?
Friendship Heights?
White Flint?
…it’s too punny. Didn’t he “feel the love” from then Mayor Marion Barry, the leftist Montgomery County managers, or the Eastern Europeans in Tacoma Park? In all seriousness though, the KLA positions were never touched by NATO period.

Please, who ever wrote this article, could you not make it sound like all the Muslims are responsible for the sins of few who started their own teachings of Islam with extremist stuffing…Those people are NOT Muslims and I suggest you do a research about Muslims before you write something like this again.
