Does Iran Govt Read Schlussel Site? Claims “ZION”ist Olympic Logo

By Debbie Schlussel

It appears the Government of Iran might be reading this site.  Flash back to almost four years ago, when I wrote about the logo for the 2012 Londonistan Olympic Games.  I noted that Rumor Mill News–a site run by a couple who claim to have been CIA operatives on whom the government plays mind control games–claimed the logo looks like the word, “Zion.” Well, now, Iran is claiming the same thing.

Nearly four years later, the Iranian government (in addition to announcing it won’t allow Iranians to compete against Israeli athletes) has lodged a complaint with the International Olympic Committee and the committee in charge of hosting the London Games, claiming the same thing–the the logo is a secret Zionist plot to push the word “Zion” into our subconscious . . . or something like that.  Iran is threatening to boycott the games if the stupid, “Zionist” logo isn’t changed.

But, since–as I’ve repeatedly noted on this site–the Olympic games are notoriously anti-Semitic and ANTI-Zionist a/k/a anti-Israel, the complaint is baloney.  In fact, I asked artist David Lunde to create this far more accurate Olympic logo, which I designed and which is infinitely more appropriate to all those involved with the Olympic games . . .

More:

Iran objects to the logo for the 2012 London Olympics, contending it is racist [DS: Pot. Kettle. Black.] because it resembles the word “Zion” and warning of a possible boycott of the Games.

The secretary general of Iran’s National Olympic Committee said Iran sent a letter to International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge. The letter claims the 2012 logo spells out “Zion,” a biblical term widely recognized to refer to the city of Jerusalem.

In comments carried by the official IRNA news agency Monday, secretary general Bahram Afsharzadeh said the letter urges other Muslim states to oppose the “racist logo.”

“There is no doubt that negligence of the issue from your side may affect the presence of some countries in the Games, especially Iran which abides by commitment to the values and principles,” the letter said.

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for Israel’s destruction and questioned historical accounts of the Holocaust.

So, what, if Iran is threatening a boycott. How many Iranian Olympic champions do you remember?

Didn’t Iran win gold in the “Men’s 400 Meter Beheading Relay?” Or was it the “Womens 100 meter Burkha Crawl? Or was it the Curling Stoning Competition with the infidel buried up to his neck at the opposite end?

The Men’s 400 Meter Beheading Relay is one of the 10 events in the “Decapitate-alon”.

You might be able to get “Zion” from the top logo if you were to smoke about eight joints, by yourself, and then stare at it for about three hours.

Correction – Couldn’t be relay b/c that’s more than one participant. It’s four-hundred meter run that is one of the events in the decapitate-alon.

I really needed that today!.. thanks for the laugh. great thinking there.

No, I believe it was the ever popular race to mate with your closest relative. Incidentally, further to a recent post about Oscar-winning anti-Semites, very minor reorganization of the letters in “Colin Firth” yields “Corin Filth”.

    That’s what I mean.

I’ll unscramble Ahmedinejad for you. Named A Jihad.

    The Iranian are nuts!

Honestly it looks like Lisa Simpson performing a lewd act.

If you had taken away the lettering that reads “London” and the olympic rings, then showed me that thing, I would’ve assumed it was a logo that might appear on the pocket of a Star Fleet uniform, perhaps indicating that the bearer is a Romulan. The so-called “N” in “Zion” looks more like a second “Z”

Debbie, as one of the Elders Of Zion, you deserve congratulations!

It flattering to hear anti-Semites have finally sat up and taken notice.

Those clever Joos inserting anagrams into everything.. its enough to drive a rabid Jew hater nuts. I hope they keep looking for stuff like this forever.

Cuz Jews don’t have nearly the power ascribed to them but its still wonderful to know those who lack the smarts to compete with them think they do!

Heh

I’m sure Obama will talk some sense into them. I mean really, we’re all reasonable people here right? He can just sit down and have a beer with them and work it all out. Right?

This is the stupidest design for an Olympic Logo that has ever
appeared in the millenia since the Olympics were initiated.
The Logo is so devoid of art and beauty that it serves them right to get into a controversy with Iran of all nations.
Maybe they will rethink their design and come upwith something more pleasing to the eye (and the Jihadists).

I’ve disliked the logo since it was unveiled – no pun intended, honestly. Not because of any supposed subliminal undertones, but just because it’s downright amateur and, basically, crap.

However, if some countries are so butthurt over it all, then sod them. Let them stay away. We neither want nor need them here next year.

In fact, for the first time since I initially saw it, I’m feeling considerably less hostile towards the logo now.

This logo was designed by supposedly the world’s top branding/marketing agency — Wolf Ollins. They also did the latest New York city branding which was also hated by most people.

It’s a disgusting logo in my opinion. To my eyes, it looks like a graffiti tag but in our ‘multi-cultural’ times it doesn’t surprise me that such a symbol was chosen. The fact that the world’s foremost sporting event is being visually represented by a homage to hip-hop styled degenerate art is just so tedious.

Other people have noted that the logo looks like Lisa Simpson giving head. (the shape with the Olympic rings in the top right hand corner is Lisa Simpson’s head).

It’s disgusting that Iran is allowed to compete in the Olympics anyway. I mean, if South Africa was still running an apartheid state it would be banned from competing as it was in 1964 for the Tokyo games.

I believe the logo is meant to say “2012”.

How much hashish are those nutjobs smoking to see what they’re seeing in this?

Hi at first i thought the Iran goverment were talking rubbish because for a start our I is i with a dot above but then I looked again and right next to and above the no 1 is a dot “why” non of our numbers has a dot above it it.I think it should be removed dont get me wroung im no fan of iran but at the same time i dont dislike them either. But as far as the treatment of there people is concerned its up to them to deal with it we have no right in interfearing with Iran and the same goes the other way around.

Wasn’t the Barcelona Olympic mascot equally stupid?

Occam's Tool on August 31, 2011 at 10:12 pm

to P.L – the dot might vaguely represent the flame on the Olympic torch; agree with you, leif: it says 2012
