It says something about a television show when Jimmy Kimmel’s (or just about anyone else’s) commentary about it is more entertaining than the show itself. Like all “reality” programs, I strongly question how much, if any of this, is actually spontaneous. I’ve lived in Los Angeles all my life, and have a pretty good idea of what goes on behind the scenes in “the business” here. Believe me, many of these so-called “reality” programs are not only completely scripted, but heavily rehearsed.

Not all young people buy into it. Though engulfed in a sea of stupidity, common sense still percolates to the top sometimes. Here’s hoping for more.

A nation of children you watch fairytales…err movies and play fairytales…err video games and live a life of a fairytale. Their is no seriousness of most people in this country. We have a nation who was born in debt, live in debt and will die in debt. This nation is like a glass of beer, just a few who are worth their salt are in the foam and the rest is just beneath it all.

These “yoots” are a prime example of why every time we hear of a great invention or fascinating research being done at an AMERICAN university, the name of the people doing the inventing or researching is too often an unpronounceable ASIAN name.

It’s nothing new that the masses are hypnotized and live life in a brainless fashion. Look at the mega hits on Youtube. Is there anything that is intellectual or actually helps to improve the lives of the people that view? Very limited. Maybe a couple that feature stars, but if your average person makes a positive video, it may get 100 views and then gathers dust. It’s sad that these so called “reality shows” have large audiences. Pathetic “stars” and brain dead audience.
