I did say that it warms my heart when reporters who openly deny that Islam is violent and constantly promote it get the same kinds of threats of violence I get every day from Muslims. My favorite part of all of the responses is their common claim that the “real rapists” of the world are white males and American soldiers. Uh-uh, you keep telling yourself that, as you live here under the protection of American soldiers. Riiiight–It’s not Muslims who don’t respect women and treat them as baby factories, sex toys, and property. It’s America and the West. You keep tellin’ yourself that, morons.****

As I’ve noted before, it bothers me not a lick when mainstream media reporters who keep telling us Muslims and Islam are peaceful get a taste of just how “peaceful” Muslims and Islam really are. In fact, it kinda warms my heart. Still, it’s also a great reminder of just how “civilized” these “people” (or, as I like to call them in Arabic, “Bahai’im” [Animals]) are:

On Friday February 11, the day Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes” story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.

Hey, sounds like the threats I get from American Muslims on a regular basis. Now you know what it’s like, Lara.

There will be no further comment from CBS News and Correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.

I just love it when the people of the profession of “the public’s right to know” suddenly want “privacy.” Tell it to your next interview subject, Lara. Of course CBS has no further comment. Wouldn’t wanna impugn the “peacefulness” of “Religion of Peace” animals, would we? Now, if they were Christians or Jews, well, then there would be comments galore.

So sad, too bad, Lara. No one told her to go there. She knew the risks. And she should have known what Islam is all about. Now she knows. Or so we’d hope. But in the case of the media vis-a-vis Islam, that’s a hope that’s generally unanswered.

This never happened to her or any other mainstream media reporter when Mubarak was allowed to treat his country of savages in the only way they can be controlled.

Now that’s all gone. How fitting that Lara Logan was “liberated” by Muslims in Liberation Square while she was gushing over the other part of the “liberation.”

How civilized they must be.

Instead, it’s “sustained sexual assault,” female genital mutilation, persecution of Jews and Christians(Copts)–oh wait, there are virtually no Jews left–and whatever else is left in the repertoir of medieval extremist Islamic and Arabic culture.

The fact they deleted stoning sets them apart.

By the way: when was the last time Jews practiced stoning? Maybe 2000 years ago? We entered modernity. And the only Jewish country in the world does not practice capital punishment (with the single exception of Nazi criminal Adolph Eichmann).

I would explain the meaning of confirmation bias to you, but I’m afraid you have little interest in knowing why your argument is fallacious and inherently racist. If you would like to know more, I would be pleased to inform you.

Please bear in mind that anybody who attempts to paint an entire ethnic group with a single stroke is logically flawed. There is no alternative reasoning. This is the very definition of stereotyping, and doing so with a negative bent is the very definition of bigotry.

Regarding stoning and execution in general in ancient Judaism:

1) It was extremely rare. The Talmud, regarding a court that carries out 1 execution within 70 years, condemns it as “a bloody/barbarous court” (Makkot 1:10).

2) The guilty party was thoroughly drugged so as to not feel any emotional or physical pain during the execution.

3) The execution was carried out by the accusing witnesses themselves. This was one of many “safeties” to minimize the chance of false accusations. (If you have to get your own hands dirty facing the consequences of your accusation, you are less likely to make it in the first place.)

4) Evidence was examined thoroughly by 23 highly qualified men of high caliber (morally, spiritually, intellectually, etc.)and they wanted to avoid an execution.

There was a lot more to it, such as proof that the accused was warned before committing the crime, was of sound mind, etc.

This is a far cry from the Islamic stoning-fest, an all too common occurrence, based on shoddy evidence or sheer heartlessness (such as when they stone victims of sexual abuse), and any bloodthirsty Islamist yokel can either participate or at least watch, which many enthusiastically do.

And everyone who did those sins in the old testament had to pay for those sins by sacrificing an unblemished lamb on every full moon. The children of Israel could not live under the old covenant laws, that’s why the Messiah came, to make a new covenant and to be God’s lamb to pay for all past, present and future debts and sins of God’s children with dejure money to zero out the accounts, instead of paying with the defacto money (lambs blood) that they were using before, which only discharged the debt until the next full moon. i.e. 30 days.

I hate Islam and the way it encourages brutality and mindless rage. But maybe it’s because I’m an old fashioned conservative man who sees women, all women, as deserving of protection that I am angry about any woman being raped and will not pile on in order to score political points. Saying “told you so” to a rape victim is as disgusting a thing as I can imagine short of actual violence.

Women can pretty much take care of themselves. Except in Islam where they are treated like children at best and at worst as disposable possessions.

I don’t know whether anyone you have loved has ever been raped. A woman I loved was raped. It doesn’t matter what mistakes lead up to the assault. It should still fill you with rage, such rage that anyone who blames the victim will draw some of it.

Sexual abuse of women is not a Muslim problem.

It is a problem. Period.

Islam isn’t behind the sexual exploitation and trafficking of women in Eastern Europe, South asia, East asia,–even in western Europe and North America.

Islam wasn’t behind the widespread gang rapes of Muslim women in Bosnia, nor the widespread rape-murders of Tutsi and Hutu women in North African wars.

Islam isn’t behind the reported gang rapes of young girls by American and other NATO soldiers in wartime or peacetime. You might remember terrible ase in japan a few years ago, when a Japanese schoolgirl was abudtced and brutally gangraped for hours by American soldiers, then left for dead.

It is also extremely ignorant to refer to the Muslim world as if it is monolithic.there are many sects and shades of belief. Islamic practice often varies not just from country to country but from town to town, house to house, and person to person.

The one thing you can say in general about muslims these days is that they tend to be young, more liberal and more connected to other young people all over the world.

I amuses me how criticism of some conservatives will cause me, a very strong conservative, to be accused of being liberal. It is ironic how very like The Daily Kos some conservatives can be. They are like abused children who in turn abuse their own. They hate the abuse they suffered but know no other way to respond. It is what they have learned.
