Vanessa Redgrave’s Al-Qaeda Activity No Surprise
By Debbie Schlussel
Today’s news that actress Vanessa Redgrave posted thousands of dollars bond for the release of Al-Qaeda terrorist Jamil el-Banna should be no surprise to anyone who’s followed this hag’s career of anti-Semitism and pan-terrorist activity. Ditto for the fact that she exercised an absurd Holocaust analogy.
Recently, Vanessa Redgrave and her sister, actress Lynn Redgrave, read the poems of Islamic terrorists at Guantanamo Bay at a performance. That she’s now paid the bail for two released Gitmo prisoners is no shocker, especially to those who remember her speech about “Zionist Hoodlums” after she won the Oscar at the 1977 Academy Awards ceremony:
A little background info: Throughout the 1970s, Vanessa Redgrave had been a pro-Palestinian activist, praising the P.L.O. and denouncing Israel as fascist and Nazi-like. Many of her comments were anti-Semitic. In 1977, Vanessa Redgrave starred as “Julia” in the movie of the same name, which co-starred Jane Fonda as Communist writer Lillian Hellman, who smuggled funds into Nazi Germany to the resistance movement during the Holocaust. Julia was an anti-fascist activist and Jew who was Lillian’s friend. Redgrave was given the role, despite the just and rightful protests of Holocaust survivors and other Jews all over the world. Now, she’s helping Al-Qaeda. No suprise.
Also no surprise that she used the Holocaust yet again to justify her pan-Islamist activity:
It is a profound honour and I am glad to be alive to be able to do this. Guantanamo Bay is a concentration camp. It is a disgrace that these men have been kept there all these years.
Actually, the real disgrace is Redgrave, herself, and her lifelong career of enabling this kind of vermin. Another disgrace: That she blasphemied the memories of those millions of innocents who really were in concentration camps in Nazi Europe and were murdered there in a slow torturous death. If only the Gitmo terrorists actually were in a concentration camp, which is where they belong.
When you patronize Redgrave’s movies, this–and Al-Qaeda terrorist bail–is what you are subsidizing. Aside from that, her latest flick, “Atonement,” is awful. Skip it. The title of the movie, though, is something she sorely needs to do.

Oookayyyy … who was she talking about in that speech? In one breath she mentioned “Zionist hoodlums” and then said she’d fight against anti-semitism … WTF?
[CS: I ADDED SOME BACKGROUND TO THE POST, WHICH SHOULD HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GOING ON. SHE WAS A PRO-P.L.O. ACTIVIST THEN AND JEWS PROTESTED HER STARRING ROLE IN THE MOVIE “JULIA,” WHICH WAS ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST. DS]
