Clearly he thinks that Vick is an animal and he supports him.

If you “support” Vick, what are you supporting?
This “I support…” is so odd to me these days. Any time someone does wrong there always have to be these enablers who “support” them. I guess right and wrong doesn’t matter as much as “support.”
If this guy had a dog he loved and Vick’s guys had hung him I wonder if he would still be so supportive?

Funny how a few things are lost in the Vick mania—
1. He was well-known as a thug before he joined the Falcons, but no one seemed to care, I guess since he hadn’t been convicted of too much yet.
2. Despite his athletic skills, he was not any kind of pro quarterback, and this was becoming rather apparent in his last season.
3. Feckless Falcons management dodged a serious bullet with his removal from team.
4. Very doubtful if he can return to NFL as a high-paid star, unless he switches to another position.

Errr, is there a sarcasm bypass going on here?
Isn’t calling a person an “animal” usually considered to mean they are less than human in their behavior, and is therefore an insult.
(Of course, this is a misrepresentation as animals generally do not torture or kill for fun, but that’s not the point.)
So isn’t this guy actually calling Vick an “animal” in the pejorative sense?
That’s the only way the sign makes sense to me.

Well now, really, does it come as any surprise? Actually, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t so. Let’s see, was it not good old Woopsy Goldberg who remarked about Vick’s dogs, that they were…., “just dogs” (no big deal…)? Ya, that’s right. Say what, Whoopsy?
So, take a look at the holder of the poster and really, it makes perfect sense that he supports Vick. Talk about colorblind……, whew!
